Ahem, well, might as well let the Gryffindor finish that one off.

"Try it standing still, Miss Channing-Sands." Having moved near where the Slytherin was practicing, she couldn't help but notice the active student. Certainly wouldn't be cold by the end of the lesson if she kept that up. "Remember, anticipate their movements."

Making her way to the opposite side of the arena, she passed by both Ian and Kevin. Oh my. "Vell done, Mister Hirase. Keep it up." she smiled to the Gryffindor. Although, she'd personally have grabbed the leg or arm rather than the wing but, what's done is what's done.

And she saw that chocolate frog pocketing going on with the certain Hufflepuff.

"Resist the temptation until after class, Mister Rehman." Almost in a sing along voice, the professor grinned and started back towards the front of the class.




Reaching into the metal container, she pulled out an apple, before tossing it high into pixie territory.

"TWO POINTS!"

Hm. Darn chocolate frog keeps on getting away.

YOU, SIR FROG ARE NO MATCH FOR ZANDER ADAIR. Well... Hold on. Once he gets you at least.

Speaking of which, the third year was already pointing his wand once more at the escaped frog. "IMPEDIMENTA!" HA. Take that.

And take he did. Ha. Two frogs down. Wait-- Were those pixies running across the room? Was it sticking it's tongue out at him in mockery? SHAME. The Gryffindor quickly shifted gears and started running towards the pixie in mention, completely leaving the frozen frog behind.

Ethan had to duck at the sound of a person shouting Impedimenta simultaneously. That could only mean that somebody lost his patience already and started to cast the spell left and right. The third year turned to see Kyroh being man handled by a pixie.

What? WHAT? That shouldn’t happen. Kyroh’s supposed to be the one defeating the ugly creature and not vice versa. “Kyroh! Stand still!” And stop casting the spell left and right! Ethan eyed the annoying creature and dangerously pointed his wand at it. There’s no way it’ll escape his wrath this time. “Impedimenta!” Flick!

Now that the pixie’s immobilized, Kyroh can now man handle the pixie.

“Avenge yourself, my friend!” Ethan would have made a whole speech about standing up again after being man-handled…but then a butterfly decided to land on his nose. Oh hi there!

Ahhccchooooo!

Cris grabbed the chocolate frog out of mid-air before searching for more things to try practicing the spell on.

Move out of the way butterflies, Cris dodged them as they flew past and over...and sometimes at him. Cris had no intentions of zapping the butterflies but he would if they didn't stop bothering him. He already had his eye on another chocolate frog. Yum...yum...come to papa...

But then, something else caught his eye. It somehow stood out among the cute butterflies, the brown chocolate frogs and the mischievous Cornish Pixies.

Ahhh...it was an apple.

Cris figured what the heck! It was still something to practice on, right?. So, he began tracking it with his wand, even as he studied its movements, trying to figure out where it would go next. When he was more or less certain, Cris focused all concentration on casting the Impediment Jinx on that one object. With a horizontal flick of his wand, he called out, "Impedimenta".

....and watched as a turquoise beam of light shot out from his wand and headed towards the it. He hoped that he had anticipated accurately where it would end up next.

Before he could reach the darn pixie, Zander heard Romanos shout again?! MORE POINTS UP FOR GRABS!? Count this Gryffindor in!

Turning around as fast as he could, he saw.... a flying apple?

Ready or not, here he comes! The third year quickly shot his wand up in the air and aimed as best he could. "IMPEDIMENTA!"

Sophie dashed across the room in an attempt to dodge the cornish pixies, butterflies, and chocolate frogs. Although, she really didn't want to dodge the chocolate frogs. She wanted to eat them. Oh, well. Such a waste, such a waste.

In her dodge across the room, Sophie noticed a huge apple flying right toward her and a group of a few others. She grew wide-eyed and skidded to a halt. An apple?! What ELSE was out there? Maybe it'd been a bad idea to dart across the room.

Sophie raised her wand and flicked it horizontally. "Impedimenta!" she called out.

Y'know what was FUNNY? Kyroh and the Pixie and Ethan coming to his rescue. Maddie stiffled giggles as she watched the little display, casually ignoring the fact that she'd had a similar experience and KNEW how annoying pixies could be. WHAT? Sometimes things were funnier when they happened to someone ELSE. Heh.

And Merlin was it hard to go after the things Romanos was tossing around when there was so much else going on! Maddie didn't have time to react to the apple because just as she'd turned to see it, there were already others shooting spells in that direction. And no, she didn't fancy targeting the same object as others were so she went to find herself a different challenge. She wasn't really bothered by the points thing, honestly.

"Hey you two!" The first year wandered over to the boys JUST as Ethan was sneezing on a poor butterfly. SOMEONE needed a tissue! "Want to see who can stop the most pixies? We can make a game out of it." Bouncing, that was happening. Mostly because Maddie liked to WIN and it was more fun when others were trying to beat you. More motivation, y'know?

Also, there was a pixie RIGHT by Ethan and the first year tried VERY hard not to let on that it was there. INSTEAD she smirked a little, trained her wand VERY carefully on it, and did the little flick movement. “Impedimenta!”

Ehehehehe!

"That's one for me! You two better catch up!"

Now that she no longer had an apple sailing toward her, Sophie relaxed a bit and looked around. So it looked like some other person had taken care of the apple, but that was fine by her. She didn't want to stick around this area for long. She'd come here trying to get away from all the craziness, and this area had even more.

Sophie took off and headed toward a different area of the room. She paused for a second to look around and see what she'd gotten herself into now. All she saw were cornish pixies, so she raised her wand toward them. "Impedimenta!" she said, with a horizontal flick of her wand. The pixies froze in mid-air, and Sophie took the opportunity to head off.

Pixies swarmed toward the apple, blocking it's view from any line of cast, yet, lucky for the students, the began to fly away once they realized they were in danger of being immobilized. Then again, unlucky for the one pixie who managed to fly right in front of one of the spells that was destined to hit the apple, becoming immobilized in a split second. Oops!

The race between two more spells was a close one. Pixies zig-zagged out of the way and the immobilized one could only barely watch as the lights flew past him, hitting the apple one right after the other. Though with the spells coming from two different directions, it was easier to tell who was the winning caster.

"Two points to Gryffindor! Vell done casters. Ve haff one more object before the grand finale, so keep practicing and on the lookout."

Kace was seeing the butterfly fly away and wanted to get it. He pointed his wand and said, "Impedimenta!" and then did a horizontal flick back and forth with his wand. He stunned it! He actually did it this time. He was smiling and he was gonna stun the apple and Zander beat him to it. He nodded towards him. He won it fair and square.

Now in his peripheral vision he saw a chocolate frog hopping again. He grinned and was gonna stun him. He saw it hopping towards his desk and he pointed his wand at it and kept it in his vision. He said the spell, "Impedimenta!" and with the wand movement he missed the frog. It was too quick for him. Awww man! He was soo close!

SNIFF.

Stupid butterfly. “’scuse me.” He said as he wiped his nose with his sleeve. Nothing…gross came out, thank Merlin, but his nose itched big time. Ugh! Ethan saw another chocolate frog and was about to cast the jinx when somebody was calling them. That would have been them, no? Since it looked like everyone else is minding their own business.

…and going for an apple.

More food? Anyway, who was that calling them? Ethan turned and saw Maddie. “Oh hey Coop!” Hello! Hello! And…wait, they’re going to play? Play is fun! Well, the activity is already fun, but Maddie’s idea made it better. Challenge accepted! “I’m in and—“ Ethan’s eyes widened when the small Ravenclaw kid had her wand pointing at him. What in the name of…?

Oh. It was for an evil pixie.

Whew.

Don’t do that again, Cooper. Anyway! The game is on! With a mischievous grin plastered on his face, Ethan did the same and hunted for his next victim. And just when he was about to turn, another pixie hovered over Kyroh’s head. “Impedimenta!” Nu-uh. You ain’t touching a Kyroh Scabior under his watch.

There were random things flying around the room, several of which had hit him in the head already, and Dima was STILL practicing the incantation.

Impedawhaaa?

Impedimenta. Imped-a-menta. "Impedimen- OW." Before he could even flick his wand, he felt another thing smash into him, 'cept this one had TEETH and was trying to KILL him. Pixie. Pixie on his hand. PIXIE IN HIS TOUSSAINT FLESH SOMEONE SAVE HIM for the life of MERLIN-

"Impedimw... ImpedimOW... ImpediGETITOFFgetitoffgetitoffowww!"

He was doing more jumping and shaking than slowing, if it wasn't clear.

Could she do it again? She wasn't sure about that, but she was going to give it a good go anyways. Thinking that the pixie deserved a good spell in the face, she set her eyes on them. Before long one came right into her line of vision. AJ stalked her pray and once it looked like her chances were good to hit it, she cast. "Impedimenta" Followed up by the flicking of the wand.

To her great surprise not only did it work, but she actually made contact. She fist bumped the air, and looked around for the next thing to cast on. Activities were even more fun once you got the hang of them.

Pffft....he had hit the apple but Cris was gracious enough to let the Lions have the points not like they needed any more. On to the next...

A Cornish pixie. Yep you're it!! Cris watched it carefully, pointing his wand at it and when he saw an opening, he flicked his wand horizontally, and called out the incantation at the same time,"Impedimenta"

ZAP!! Hehehehe...floating Cornish Pixie now.

....now onto something else. Let's see...

OWOWOWOWOWOW IT HURT STOP IT PIXIE!!!!

Kyroh threw up his arms giving up on the spell and instead attempted to whack the Pixie with his wand. Just when he was thinking that all hope was LOST the pixie just....stopped? Huh?

Turning around Kyroh blinked as he noticed how slow the Pixie was moving. Had he done that or-a voice nearby caught his attention. Ethan! Ethan had saved him and- "ETHAN YOU SAVED ME AND YOU FOUND STEVE LOOK!!" STEVE WAS BACK HIS MATE!

Though what was Steve doing on Ethan's nose? Didn't he know that noses were not places for Butterflies? Noses were danger- before Kyroh could warn his butterfly friend Ethan let out a large sneeze and the winged create went flying again.

Sniffle.

Bye Steve.

Kyroh didn't have time to chase after his friend again though because Maddie was talking GAMES and WINNING and stuff. And she ALWAYS won so he HAD to beat her! Even though she was already up one. Annnnd Ethan was pointing a wand at him again. Kyroh ducked just as the boy got the Pixie above him.

NOW IT WAS 1-1-0! HE WAS LOOKING! Kyroh frantically looked around Noticing a Pixie rigggghhht by Romanos. "Impedimenta!" He declared, flicking his wand as he slowed the Pixie down. "LOOK PROFESSOR I SAVED YOU NOW I'M GONNA WIN!" Time to BEAT Boddie and Ethan! Kyroh took off looking for more, and stopped when he noticed Dima's cries. "Impedimenta!" The first year yelled again.

Alright there Dima? Kyroh couldn't check, he had to go and WIN.

Ethan had saved Kyroh and Kyroh had saved the professor so now Maddie HAD to save someone if they were going to be even! And considering Dima looked like he was putting the ST in STRUGGLE, she had a DUTY to save him! YUP! Even if Kyroh already sorta HAD saved him she was STILL gonna help cause she was THAT GOOD OF A FRIEND. SEE Dima? FRIEND.

"You're saying it wrong, Dima!" SO HELPFUL. "But we're allies so it's my JOB to have your back." MHM! "It's Impedimenta and make sure you're stressing the a in the middle like Im-ped-" PIXIE! The small brunette paused to flick the thing out of the way and with a satisfied grin, continued. "Im-ped-A-men-ta" He could do this! HE COULD. "Give it a g-" OI, one was pulling her hair now! "Impedimenta!" Did he SEE it slow down? She was demonstrating and everything now! SUCH a good teacher!

"That's two for me, you guys!" AHEM.

"Dima, give it a try!"

He was sure that these were the last few moments of life he would ever see. RIP Dmitriy Toussaint, death by Cornish pixie. Which was set on him by Professor Accent-But-Not-During-Class lady. So TECHNICALLY, it was death by Romanos. Was that illegal? Was she going to Azkaban? Pity, 'cause sh-

OH HEY IT HAD LET GO! "Thaaaanks Kyroh!" Friends were SO helpful, that was why.

And now Maddie was.... teaching him the spell? But he already knew it. "I KNOW, it was just hard to cast 'cause there was a pixie in my- OW."

There was ANOTHER one on him? This one had latched onto his leg, and the first year swatted at it for a good while before he remembered he was supposed to cat on it. OH. "Impedimenta!" He said the 'i' like an 'a', just like the Professor AND Maddie had instructed, flicking his wand horizontally.

Whew. Relief. DIMA TOUSSAINT had a FREE LEG. Hallelujah.

It was time to stalk norther Cornish pixie. Jasmine was going for two in a row. She turned around slowly trying to choose her next victim. Which one should she go for? Hmmmm, it was very hard to decide. Finally deciding on a particularly pesky pixie, Jasmine aimed her wand and began to follow it. Unfortunately, she didn't count on the pixie heading straight for her. Jasmine ducked and not a moment too soon. The little devil actually brushed the top of her head. Oh now it was personal. Jasmine quickly spun around and caught sight of the culprit. Raising her wand again, she gave it a sideways flick. Saying, "Impedimenta", Jasmine watched as her spell hit the pixie right in the chest. "Yessss", she said. "Alright, who's next?"

Now that the other kid is saved, can they now continue the game? Ethan had been standing not too far from the group when two Cornish pixies decided to attack the little people. Oi you children should stop discussing and start zapping those creatures.

Raising his wand, he aimed at the pixies and did a big swing. “Impedimenta!” Float away, evil, ugly looking pixies! So…yes, that’s two for Ethan Mordaunt.

Merlin, he really could use some Chocolate Frog right now…

"WELCOME DIMA!" Kyroh was like a SUPERHERO. WINNING and beating bad Pixies and stuff, and SAVING HIS FRIENDS. WOOSH. All superhero like. He would probably be winning MORE if....he wasn't concerned about where Steve had gone because like what if Steve was hurt or someone tried to cast a spell on him. WHAT IF ETHAN'S SNEEZE HAD BLINDED HIM?

Poor Steve.

So Kyroh WAS looking for Cornish Pixies. But.....he was kind of looking for Steve more? A chocolate frog hopped by him and Kyroh raised his wand, but then lowered it because it WASN'T a pixie so what was the point? What if the Chocolate Frog was someone ELSE'S Steve? He was contemplating this when a tugging on his arm brought him back to the real world.

PIXIE!

“Impedimenta!” The first year yelled, flicking his wand every which way.

Maddie wasn't buying what Dima was selling, did he KNOW? She'd CLEARLY helped him more than he was letting on and as this was the ONLY good deed she planned on doing today, she was going to PRETEND he was grateful. You're welcome, D-man! BEAM!

Spotting a loner pixie, the small brunette grinned and crept forward, trying not to bump into any of her classmates on the way cause chaotic class was chaotic. This was a good way to practice being stealthy, mhm. Was anyone taking note of her MANY skills?

And then she saw her moment! The first year aimed and with a careful flick of her wand she said, "Impedimenta!" DID SHE GET IT?

...No. No, she hadn't cause a BUTTERFLY had gotten in her way? She narrowed her eyes at it and tried not to frown. Hey, at least she'd hit SOMETHING. It didn't COUNT, though, which meant she wasn't WINNING.

Dumb butterfly.

Beverly whacked a pixie with her wand as it tugged on her hair. What the Fawkes? She was here minding her own business, peacefully casting Impedimenta, when a pixie decided to come and PICK on HER. Of all people, seriously! Maybe it was the cherry blossom scent her hair gave off, but it was NOT for pixie-hands.

So she whacked it. Whacked it good and hard and then, "Impedimenta." Bye bye loser.

Bringing her long locks over to the front of her shoulder, Beverly held it there and away from pesky pixie hands.

OH!

Lookit that! Two Chocolate Frogs just body slammed one another and...she wanted one. Bounding after one of the Chocolate Frogs, Beverly trained her wand on it. "Impedimenta!"

It bounced off a student's head. Beverly went after it. Again. She cast upward. "Impedimenta!" GOT IT. The frog froze with its chocolaty limbs stretched out. Gaze locked on it as it fell, she opened her mouth and...

...caught it. She caught a Chocolate Frog in her mouth. It just fell in. She was standing there, with her mouth open and...it fell in. Accidental meal.

Cris was tracking a chocolate frog with his wand, and was about to cast the spell on it when...

Whoa! where did it go? Another chocolate frog bounced into it sending it careening off course. Cris frowned. Who had made him lose his Chocolate Frog!! Cris watched as the errant frog bounced off another student's head and then...

....disappeared into a Slytherin's mouth.

Cris quickly covered his mouth. Not because another chocolate frog had fallen into his mouth, but rather to stifle the laughter that was bursting to set free. Cris walked over to the Slytherin and leaned over to whisper in her ear.

"Good catch," he grinned at her.

HA! HA! It FROZE! FREAKING YEEEEEEES!

Grayson: 1, pixie: 0

A moment of pride needed to be taken, thank you. Because that frozen pixie over there had frozen mid-laugh. HA! He was just immensely proud of himself right now, mkay? How many times had he tried? Three? Was that his third try? Probably. He was going to keep that to himself for the time being. Nobody else needed to know--

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK!

"OWWWWWWWW! WHAT IN THE FREAKING NAME OF MERLIN?!" Cue a tirade of--

No. Class. Language, Whitlock.

Nevertheless, he boy SCOWLED at the currently cackling creature. He knew EXACTLY what that meant. And he had no idea whether this pixie was the one that had gotten away before since all the pixies looked similar. At least, they did to him. Still, if it WAS that pixie, he was going to end up scowling even more.

Or time to get revenge.

Revenge sounded like a MUCH better idea. The only problem was that the creature was flying this way and that, still cackling madly. Alright. Fine. Aim............... AIM. "Impedimenta!"

You know something? It was probably a sin to have a chocolate frog so completely still and not make any attempts at eating it. Sure she was meant to keep aiming and Merlin knew she was probably meant to have a different target too but those Firstie Claws were having the pixie fun and butterflies weren't her thing. You couldn't expect a chocoholic to take aim at things that were not made of sugar and were certainly not edible.

It took all the self-control she could muster to let the chocolate frog stay where it froze. It was for another time. Now was for practice. Yes....practice. No eating them.

She wasn't slowly walking over to it casually. No. And she most certainly hadn't just leaned over and snatched it mid-hop, why would anyone even think that? It was such a harsh assumption that might have been playing out right then and there. Circe forbid anyone saw her slowly move the frozen chocolate frog ot her mouth and....er....accidentally bite the head off.

This is what we call a moment of weakness. The Gryffindor would probably have quite a few of these before the lesson was over. Of course after eating the head she was SO overcome with grief that...well... she had to eat the rest. What was a chocolate frog without it's head? Blasphemy, that's what. The Gryffindor wouldn't be able to live with herself if she let it go now.

That was the LAST one. Honest. She hoped.
