Text Cut: Davvy_Wavvy Last class of the school year--DONE. Sophie nearly slapped her book closed and ran for the hills. She would have, too, had their been any hills to run TO. They were all snow covered and the castle was on lock-down, sooo...no fun exits. What Sophie really DID do was finish copying down her notes and calmly put her things in her bag. She slung her bag over her shoulder and headed to the food table. She needed another warm beverage. "Thanks for another great year, Professor," she said, passing by the woman. "Oh, and thanks for the food and drinks, too." She spent the next several minutes making herself one awesome cup of hot cocoa. |
Simon remained quiet and took a sip of his hot chocolate. As other students spoke, he continued to take notes about the limitations of conjuring food and money. It all did make a lot of sense. If you could conjure up food, then you wouldn't have to buy or make it yourself and how could you eat something made out of thin air. Also, if you conjured up money, then you wouldn't have to worry about working. That would be disappointing for Simon couldn't imagine a life where he didn't have to work for something he didn't want. When he finished up taking his notes, Professor Bellaire checked her watch and announced that it was time to go. Already? thought Simon as he finished up the food on his plate and drained his mug of hot chocolate. "Thanks Professor. Have a good summer," he said and then he paused, eyeing the food and drinks table. Simon couldn't see any house elves nearby so he thought that he'd offer some assistance. "Do you need some help cleaning up?" SPOILER!!: notebook |
Ethan imagined the world to be chaotic IF they can conjure money anytime, anywhere. It will be convenient, sure, but not everyone has a good soul, yeah? The boy snapped back to the present moment, once the professor started to talk again. A nod, and the blond boy got his parchment and quill, and jotted down notes. Then...they're dismissed? Merlin, school is over, yeah? Sighing, and grinning at the same time, Ethan collected his parchments and placed it inside his satchel. "Thanks for the lesson, professor...and the Beach Party too, even if it was cut short." The boy grinned at the woman, stood up, and helped himself to some more food. |
Looking back at his notes, the Gryffindor almost scoffed a little. They had started off pretty nice and clean..... But the further they went, the sloppier they got. Both his hand writing and the food marks. Heh. Oops. At least he had taken notes down though, right? That was the important bit, yeah? Adding a final few additions to his notes, the Gryffindor looked up and shrugged. Meh. Better than nothing. Putting all his notes back into his bag, he went straight back to his plate and cup of hot chocolate! Which, needed a refill. The Gryffindor took his mug back up to grab some more, and as an afterthought looked towards Bellaire and smiled. Weird. She was being nice this was too weird. "Thanks Professor, for the lesson and the food and also the beach party... Even though it kind of had a messy ending..." |
Woah. Class was done already? As the thought sunk in Kyroh scribbed down the last of his notes and then slid off his chair. After making sure to pack everything up in his bag he walked over to the Transfiguration teacher. "Thank you Professor." He paused and stared at her for a few more beats. If it were anyone else he probably would have wrapped his arms around and given then a hug by now. But it wasn't anyone else. It was Bellaire. So instead he hesitated before raising his hand and giving her a wave. "Have a good summer Professor...you know, if we escape the castle." With that he turned and made his way out of the class. |
Jonas sighed frustrated with his self. Obviously he wasn't being clear with his answer. He thought the seccond half of the question was why was it difficult to manipulate weather. Jonas decided to keep his mouth shut for the rest of the lesson. He obviously hadn't studied this year. He ate the food in silence. "Have a nice summer too professor and thankyou for a nice school year." Jonas said after cleaning up his mess. He noticed he was the last to leave. He didn't mind. |
The term was ending.. Lucy was sad but she would meet her family again.. "Thanks for the lesson Professor, goodbye and have a nice summer!" |
Conjuring money out of nowhere would be cool, but dangerous too. Leah was glad they had a limitation to conjuration. She had heard about muggles creating fake money (paper-y stuff, what are they called? Cash?) but that was restricted too. So yeah balanced between the wizarding and muggle world. Leah continued taking notes onto her journal about.. the importance of money. Class dismissed! It really was a theory lesson then. The thirteen-year-old restrained from yelling out loud that the final lesson of the school year was over and they could pretty much go home.. unless the snow got thicker. Leah put her journal and quill back into her bag, finally keeping her eyes on the food at the back of the room. "Thank you for the lesson, Professor Bellaire." She smiled at the professor. But she was not going to leave right now. She grabbed a Cauldron cake and bit into it. Yummy! |
Ian finished off his last bit of notes and closed his books and placed them in his satchel. Hopefully his summer plans would work out. Thank you, Professor. It's been a wonderful, if too cold term. |
