After having Caterina on her back, Elodie had gotten them both food and lots of it and then dragged her best friend outside with her, just for more conversations about their lives together and everything. Because they were going to grow old together and live until they were 200, telling jokes about legs and Elodie still making rude comments about Cat's brothers. Who were still on all of the lists Elodie had possible. All of them. Future Moretti right here. Hai.

"I was thinking that we could steal your niece and let her and Rad hang out a little when we're at home?" Just going to look after the kiddies and eat food. It was cool. Elodie wasn't trying to set the kids up or anything. They were witto bubbas.

But they would be married one day.

Excellent. Next time Tag and Donny bumped, haha, into each other, either on purpose or by accident, Bumpy should have his trustee cape nearby. Don't forget it Donny. "Perfect. Then I can see Bumpy in his natural fashion? Habitat? Saving the world." Yes, that last one made sense. Donny was asking about Stella's diet. Hmm. Well, Tag supposed it wasn't too weird of a question so he didn't think much on it. "I think she mostly finds herself food, bugs? I have some watery cat food for her, and if she's been a good girl she gets a special treat every now and then. Why do you ask?" Curious gryffindor was curious.

Fake!narrowed eyes back at you Donny. Tag even rubbed his non existent beard. "Interesting. Very interesting."

Tag nodded when Donny told him how often he visited his grandma. "That's nice that you see her often. Does she live where you live, or somewhere else in Ireland?" He didn't have to answer of course. Then his other grandma, Donny seemed excited to mention her. "She does? Is she a cool grandma?" Of course she was. She lived with Donny. His family must be made of awesome. Donny then mentioned Abby, which, if Tag had the right grandma, he could easily visit Abby whenever he wanted. "Do you visit Abbi when you visit your grandma? Does Abbi know your grandma and be loud and bother her for fun?" It must be cool to have your friend be right next door. See them all the time.

"The more deadly the more pretty. That makes sense, great disguise. No one would see it coming." Tag said, agreeing somewhat to what Donny had said. And then Donny's hand was right by Tag's face. An, it was rather random, wasn't it? Tag started laughing, he found it amusing for some reason. And, "Yes, we're saving insects for last cause they're so good." How did they even get into this conversation?

Marigold pretended to be reknotting her trainers while she instead furiously rubbed the moisture out of her eyes. No she would not cry in front of McFly nope. "'Mnotcrying," she mumbled as she sat back up, not bothering to flick her hair out of her face. Then she did. With a suddenness that upset her ink bottle, spilling it on her robes. "Oh, darn." But she didn't begin spelling it off, not yet. She was focused now. "R–really? Why did they tell you to stop being friends with someone? If you don't mind me asking." Right now, being in the mood she was in, she honestly didn't care if she offended McFly a little. Probably the first time in her life, but he had made her cry sad, so whatever.

And then she took the handkerchief, with a slightly shaking hand, and wiped her eyes. Because he was telling her to be friends with Moo, and if that wasn't just the right decision all along.

Cat very much enjoyed when Elodie carried her around on her back. It was the best part of having a bestie who was a million times taller than you for sure. She had her chin propped on the top of Elodie's head so she could see where they were headed and was very pleased when they ended up outside. Even more pleased when Rad and Elena were mentioned. "Of course we should. But Rad might get a crush on her because she is a Moretti girl and she's verryyy pretty."

That was just fact.

Vinnie looked up from her book as she heard a familiar voice. Ohhhh it was Connor. They hadnt spoken much, but he seemed like a nice guy and it was always nice to have some company. Especially after she didnt have any her first year here. Life at Hogwarts had changed and the brunette loved it.“Hey Connor“, she smiled closing her book.

Why would she want to hang out alone? She had done that for long enough....and then she realised her bag was blocking the bench. The Slytherin took it and put it on the floor quickly. Her bag really didnt need space on the bench. At all, if it got dirty it got dirty whatever.“No no i would love some company“, she grinned and patted the space next to her. The book could wait, it wouldnt run away.

Brrrr.... was it always this cold this early in the season? It felt like winter was already here. AJ wouldn't be surprised if snow started to fall. The Gryffindor definitely should have put on some more layers. Not wanting to walk all the way back to her common room she decided that she would just suck it up. As she made her way down to the courtyard area she found a bench that looked inviting.

AJ plopped down on her belly and had he feet in the air behind her head. She pulled out Hogwarts, A History and turned to page one. She had explored quite a bit of the castle already and now she was going to read up on the history of it all. She wasn't one to have her nose in books all the time, but she was tired of knowing things and the way that some people treated her because of it. AJ would show them.

Adi had not missed the cold that seemed to be slowly settling into Hogwarts's surroundings despite it being still a bit before the usual winter time. Not that he minded. He loved the cold. So, it was for that reason the boy donned a jacket and took off for the Grounds.

He had no idea where he was going as he set off but his feet seemed to know. Pretty soon he found himself in the Courtyard. Cool. This was a good place to enjoy the weather and clear his head. The Hufflepuff decided to check out the fountain and on his way towards it passed someone who was reading on a bench.

Adi had already walked pass the girl but he quickly did a double take. It was AJ. And she didn't even have a jacket on. Shaking his head and wondering if she was crazy, the boy approached the bench, taking off his on jacket as he went. When he reached AJ, he dropped it over her so that it covered her shoulders and back. "Looking to get sick?''

Just as she was starting to get into the book good she felt something drop on her back, and it felt lovely. She wasn't magical enough to have jackets appear out of nowhere was she? Looking up she saw that it was her good friend Adi. The first year immediately smiled. "Good looking out. I didn't realize it was this cold until I got out in the wind." Going all the way back seemed like a waste of time. "But won't you be cold?" He didn't have to do that for her. She did appreciate it very much though.

It was then that the conversation with Angel came to her mind. "Sit. I need to talk to you about something." AJ pulled herself up and gave Adi some room. It was weird because after Angel told her that he made her cry AJ was furious. A million things came to mind about how she was going to handle the situation, and yelling at him was in every scenario. As she looked at his face she knew that she couldn't do it.

"Hi,'' Adi said, returning the smile. ''Yeah, it's colder out here. Don't worry about me. I think I can handle it.'' The cold was the best there was, after all. In his opinion, anyway. He was enjoying the light breeze that was blowing. Chilly but not that chilly.

Needed to talk to him about something? AJ sounded serious despite that smile and Adi automatically wondered if he had done some thing to offend her. Uh oh. "Sure.'' He sat down next to his friend and looked at her cautiously.

She was bored. Terribly, terribly booored. Sketchpad on her lap, graphite quill in one hand, Beverly blinked down at the blank piece of paper. She still hadn't decided what she wanted to draw. After seeing her best friend's sketches she decided that he was the artist, not her. She was the dragon tamer between the two, but that wouldn't be until a few more years.

Eyes drooping and head falling forward, a cold, harsh breeze tore the quill from her lose grasp. A bit more alert, Beverly watched as it rolled away. She grunted.

Someone should fetch that for her. She was too comfortable huddled between two pillars to get up.

Gareth was taking a stroll on the grounds for fresh air purposes. No. Not at all. Not for fresh air purposes. He was living in a dungeon, who needed fresh hair? It was just to have a look around to see what else this school had and, he had to admit, the grounds were kind of impressive with the forest and big lake and whatnot.

He walked in courtyard place in the end, to sit down and enjoy the outdoors. He liked castles. This castle was not bad just the people in it were mostly dumb. He eyed a bench nearby and was walking towards it when he realised something roll and stop right in front of his left foot. The Slytherin stopped in time not to step on it. What was that?

Hmmm. A quill?

He bent down and picked the quill up. Whose quill was that? Well...if nobody was going to scream around about a lost quill, it was so going to be his now. Finders are keepers. Yet still...he looked towards the direction where the quill seemed to having been rolled from and....he saw that girl.

Beverly, was not she ?

He simply eyed her holding the quill between two fingers.

Beverly would have turned her back on that quill and most likely napped right there and then, but when she saw who had found her quill she sat up quickly. Ugh. It was that boy. If she didn't want her quill, now she DID. Pushing off from her spot the Slytherin briskly strode over to her housemate.

"That's my quill," she said firmly, crossing her arms over her chest and shooting him the most unfriendly scowl ever. He deserved it after what he did to her hair.

Oh...here the girl was coming.

Gary turned to properly face her and watched her with a grin on his face as she approached. She looked disturbed. Well...it was not like he just came and disturbed her, was it? He had just happened to find this quill which was apparently hers. Hmm...

"Oh?" Gary exclaimed with a fake surprised expression when she claimed the the quill to be hers. "Is it really?" Ignoring the annoyed look on her face, he examined the quill for a moment and twirled it in his palm. "It actually looks like a fine one." he commented. "What bird is it from?"

Why wasn't he giving her her quill back?

Beverly exhaled through her nose, slightly narrowing her eyes at him and keeping a nice distance between them. She wasn't scared, distance was for his sake, because Merlin knows how much she wanted to punch him.

"Yes, it's mine and I'd like it back." Now. Huh? He wanted to talk about birds? Odd fellow. "It is. It was made especially for me. And why do you want to know?"

Oh...look at that. This girl needed to chill because apparently she was burning. Well...Gareth supposed this was expected after the bloody snake fang in her hair incident which he had failed to do properly thanks to some big nosey girl. What? There was just a tiny bit of Re'em blood on her hair. It was not too bad, was it? Apparently she had washed it off.

He kept ignoring her obvious annoyance and examined the quill a bit more. "Yeah, yeah. I got it." he murmured. "I think i like this though. Why?" She wanted to know? Maybe. "Because i like birds and i like quills too. I collect them." Yet it looked like he was not going to be able to add this one to his collection. Looking all deep in thought, he stared at the quill and licked the tip of the feather.

Hmmm...

"If you're sure." AJ didn't really want to give the jacket back now that she had it and it was so warm. She went ahead and pulled it on all the way. "This feels nice." Now it was time to have the conversation that had been bugging her ever since Angel told her what Adi had done.

She watched as he sat down next to her and she turned her body to face him. "So, I had a conversation with Angel." Did he know what she was getting at? "Care to tell me what that was all about?" She was going to keep her cool. AJ was not going to scream because she knew how it felt to be screamed at about something. The first year would give him a chance to explain... one chance.

He liked her quill, well...he couldn't have it. It was a gift from her brother and she liked sketching with it. And he JUST couldn't have it. It was unfortunate he liked birds though, because so did she - she liked ALL creatures, so it didn't really count.

"Well, I hear there's a shop down in Hogsmeade where you can buy--"

"No! What are you doing?!" Without thinking, Bevelry launched herself forward, her goal to snatch her pretty quill from the curious Slytherin. Eww! WHY DID HE LICK IT?

"I'm sure,'' Adi replied, still enjoying the cold breeze. He watched AJ pull his jacket fully around herself and smiled. He was glad had given it to her. Those Hufflepuff qualities were showing fully right about now. Hehe.

Oh. That was what she wanted to talk about. Adi shifted uncomfortably as he looked away. Granted, he realised he lost his temper that day and that was something that rarely happened but he couldn't help it. And of course he could have expected Angel to tell her sister. He didn't want to talk about it but there was something about AJ that made him want to tell her.

Adi drew his eyes to meet AJ's. "Your sister. She's spending a lot of time with Benny. I think she's taking my best friend away. No. Strike that. She has taken him away and I don't think he minds.'' There. He told her what the problem was. "I don't really want to talk about it,'' the third year said, mumbling now.

Elodie wiggled her best friend off of her back and grinned. A pretty Moretti girl? Oh, like the opposite was even possible! All of them were pretty. Els was sure that that family couldn't produce an unpretty gene if they tried. Not that..someone would even try to achieve that. Right? Would they? "I'm sure Radley would like her very much because he likes you, Cattycake." And even more so.. Elena was probably going to love Radley, because he was a Robertser.

And they were pretty too.

As she sat there and listened to what Adi had to say, she honestly wasn't that surprised with his answer. She could understand where he was coming from and she could sympathize with that. On the other hand, that absolutely did not give him a reason to be cross with her sister. "I get it Adi, I really do, but it's not cool that you were so mean to her." It wasn't Angel's fault that Benny chose to hang out with her. AJ knew about the bromance and she could tell in the short time that she has known the boys that they were really close. "Angel may not always stand up for herself, but I will always have her back. I think you owe her an apology." She deserved that much.

This conversation felt so natural because she always had to go in between her two sisters at home. AJ also had to defend Angel when people would pick on her at school. "Benjamin also needs to make time for you too, but that again is not Angel's fault." Now most likely wouldn't be the best time to bring up the fact that AJ was going to try to hook them up. She wanted to talk to Adi more about the subject, but she could see the defeated look on his face. "Ok, but I'm here if you ever need to talk." Granted that would only be true if he did apologize to Angel.

Adi raised his eyebrows. He wasn't sure if anyone would understand what he meant but maybe AJ did after all. He exhaled deeply. "Yeah, well, she'll get her apology,'' he said not sulkily at all. He did loose his temper, right? So yeah. He would apologize to Angel.

"No, I don't care. He can do whatever he wants.'' Adi was firm on that. Let the other guy did what he liked. Adi wasn't too fussy anymore, to be honest. It's not like Benny tried to find out what set him off, anyway. AJ was right and wrong at the same time. It wasn't Angel's fault in a way but yet it was. "I don't talk about feelings.'' Mumbling. He was doing it again. What was up with the mumbling today?

Really? He was going to apologize just like that? She was preparing herself for an argument and here he was agreeing with her. AJ breathed a sigh of relief. "Thanks for that." It took a lot to admit that you were wrong and offer up an apology. See, Adi was a good guy who just managed to lose his temper.

Apparently the whole Benny thing wasn't going to be as easy as it was to get him to agree to apologize to Angel. "You don't mean that." She knew he didn't, he was just hurt right now. It was still all too fresh right now. "I'll be your best friend." She nudged him with her shoulder trying to make light of the situation and hopefully get his mind off of Benny and Angel. He didn't have to talk about feelings if he didn't want to.

Adi could see the surprise on AJ's face and knew what she was thinking. He grinned a teeny tiny bit. "You didn't expect me to agree to an apology so fast, right?'' he asked. When you were wrong, it was best to admit it and move on. "It's nothing.''

The third year shrugged and remained silent. Really, he didn't know what he would do if Benny even tried to talk to him. So far, Adi was doing a good job of staying away from the Gryffindor as he had requested.

Adi came out of his train of thoughts as AJ nudged him on the shoulder. And still he said nothing in response to what she said next. All he did was smile a little and nudge her back. He knew she was trying to cheer him up but he didn't want a best friend anymore.

The surprise must have shown on her face. "Nope, I didn't. I thought I would at least get an argument out of you." Which honestly would have been better than this mopey Adi. "Well, thanks anyway. You don't have to do it, and I'm liking that you are." It said a lot about him as a person.

"Aw, come on! I'm a fun girl." She knew that she would never take the place of a boy bestie, but she was the next best thing to that. No more sad Adi. She had to try and find a way to cheer him up, but what to do?

"Hey, have you ever swam in the lake with the giant squid?" It was something that she had just found out about, and she really wanted to be able to swim with Henry when it warmed up some. AJ hoped that her random question would get his mid off Angel and Benny.

Adi shook his head and his grin widened somewhat. "I don't argue to be honest.'' Because he was usually polite and cheerful all the time meant he just listened to what the other person had to say and then he just thought it over. "Again, it's no problem. I'm doing it just because you asked so nicely.''

The third year's real smile came back then. Yes, he knew that. "I know you are. Okay, fine. You can be my best friend,'' he said. He nudged her on the shoulder and added, ''Thanks for trying to make me feel better.'' AJ was a good friend and it was amazing that they'd become so close in just a few months.

"Nope. I never did but that would be awesome! Maybe we should try that sometime.'' Adi knew AJ was a tomboy and she would totally be up for that. "Anything else you got in mind that you want to try?''
