Calliope bit her lip and tried to remove the tears welling but she was truly lost. The cold was not as bad here but she couldn't stay, not without the others.

Kace was walking through the corridor of the courtyard when he stopped dead in his tracks. He was just busy drawing and then saw a Centaur and wondered if he should talk to her. He hesitated but she seemed lost. Being the puff he was he wanted to make sure she was okay. "Ermm excuse me are you lost?" he asked kindly.

Whaaaaat? Leo was blushing??? He didn't know the man got passionate about anything other than books and gobstones! Piers was trying not to grin ear to ear, but it wasn't working so well. "Well, that sounds like a good start. You seeing her during the holiday?" It was a perfect time to go out for tea, have a snowball fight, MAYBE CUDDLE.

Heheheheh. It was VERY comical. Heheheh-aheheh-ahem. Piers cleared his throat. It was quite funny that Leo had gotten into the lake too, but he wouldn't say that. "What I'd give to see that..." Bahah. That's all he had to say.

Oh yeah, wintery charms. Everyone kept asking him about how to stay warmer. "For now, just reinforce your insulation charms. I'll have to do some more research to get stronger ones." It was damn cold out and it wasn't normal.

Leo wondered if he down the line would regret ever saying anything to Piers about Millie. Would he from here on out, drop in at the library to hear the latest Millie news? Maybe Leo wasn’t doing himself a favour but talking to a mate about a woman he might potentially fall in love with down was completely normal so why was it making him so nervous?

Shrugging Leo responded trying to not think about his woes. "Maybe, it depends if Millie already has plans. I'm going to ask though." She was a busy career woman after all. "Are you and Javy doing anything special during the holiday?"

Pulling his coat tighter Leo shivered. "I’ll reinforce the insulation charms but I'm not sure how much good they will do. The library windows and doors let in draft." An old castle had its little problems sadly. "It’s cold. Want to come along and drink a warm butterbeer in the kitchens with me?"

Piers could tell something was off with Leo when he talked about Millie. He wasn't superb at reading faces, so he wasn't sure what it was. Piers clapped the man's shoulder with his hand. "It's a long break. I'm sure you'll see her." He gave Leo a reassuring grin. That grin turned into a different kind of smile when he asked about his and Javy's holiday plans. He tried not to wonder if there was another hidden question within that. "The usual. Visiting family, relaxing, eating way too much food." That's what the holidays were for, right?!

The cold was starting to get past his clothes now and was biting his skin, so he was glad when Leo suggested going inside to warm up with a nice warm butterbeer. "I can't think of a better idea," he replied before leading them back towards the door of the somewhat warmer castle.

This icy, frigid, snow-filled virulent winter is beginning to esclate toward blizzard levels with a polar vortex wind chill suddenly sweeping the grounds on top of the already high snow drifts. Brrr! Best get indoors now before the snow covers you to your frostbitten nose! It looks like Hogwarts may already be in the process of being snowed in....

OOC: All grounds threads will shortly be locked in light of this snowpocalypse. You have about 24 hours to finish your RPs and get in the castle!
