From reading the notice board you head to the third floor for the last Creature lesson of the term. Recognising one of the Professor's signs outside one of the classroom doors, you enter inside the somewhat chilly room to see the floor had been transformed to be bright green grass and the ceiling revealing the lack of sky from all the clouds. In one of the corners is a spacious and somewhat crude-resembling ground nest. Throughout the ground are the usual padded heated blankets. Professor Thompson is sitting on the lone desk by the nest. Step right in and try to get warm and comfy.

AJ had no idea why she was managing to get to the last few lessons so early, but she thought it had something to do with Slytherin not winning the house cup. The first year had been slacking lately, and she fully intended on making it up to her housemates. It was game on snakes.
As the lion entered the classroom, she was pleasantly surprised with the looks of it. There was grass and the very welcoming warming blankets that she would definitely be taking advantage of. She was the first one so she greeted the professor. "Hello professor. I love what you did with the place." Was he still mad at her for the whole unicorn mishap?
AJ decided on a blanket in the middle thinking that when everybody else arrived they would keep her even warmer with their body heat. She was not going to shake the entire lesson this time. Now all she needed were the extra bodies.

Zander was dying. DYING. Sure things were supposed to dwindle down as term slowly came to an end... Yet the were doing just the opposite. Everything was a WHIRLWIND of chaos. There were so many lessons, so much homework, so much last minute house cup competition, and making a special delivery to the love of his life. See, dying? It was a thing. And it was happening.
Yet, he still came to this particular lesson with a smile. A smile for Care of Magical Creatures. A big smile. Because he liked this class. Well, more than he liked any other subject... Except herbology because ahem love of his life teaches herbology, so he was a little biased on that one. But this subject, he truly enjoyed it. Really, he did. The third year walked into the somewhat-bizarre new location, still wearing his smile. Hopefully being indoors wouldn't keep them from doing something super exciting, you know? "Hi, Professor!" he said taking in the cool factor of the place. Woah. Awesome. The Gryffindor then, walked around and planted his butt on a particularly cozy looking blanket. Oooh warmth?

If there was something Toby associated with Thompson, it was these signs. Well, it made it a lot easier to find the room, right? Especially now the lessons were in a different place and all.
He stepped into the classroom, affording his new surroundings a cursory glance as he strolled over to where Thompson was perched. Toby gave the man a grin.
"Hey Professor Thompson," he all but chirped at the man, not too desperate to go for a heated blanket just yet, as he had his many many layers on.

Was it just Jasmine or did it seem like she needed she needed a time turner to keep up with classes these days? Her next class just happened to be Care of Magical Creatures and she had mixed emotions about attending that one. She loved to care for the animals, but it reminded her of things she didn't want to think about today.
Entering the classroom, Jasmine saw grass! Oh what a wonderful sight that was. And was that a nest in the corner of the room? She wondered what animal it belonged to. Seeing Professor Thompson nearby, Jasmine said, "Hello Professor". "Hi A.J.", Jasmine said to the younger girl who was another early arrival. Spotting the warm blankets, Jasmine went and sat down on one.

So this was her last lesson. She did not want to think about this fact but she couldn't not think of it. On her way to the classroom she remembered all the professors that had taught her and through each year she grew fonder of the subject. As this one plus History were the only two subjects she started liking and still felt the same way.
The uneasy feeling grew as she stepped inside the room. Her eyes scanned the surroundings absorbing it all and committing it to memory. She wanted to remember all the bits, important or not. She knew she was going to long for those days once she was past them. Her eyes settled on younger students and she envied them because they were returning next year. They probably were glad this was their last one this term because they knew it wasn't the last ever. The snake imagined herself standing before them and shouting 'enjoy those days because they're coming to an end!' But that of course would only make her look crazy. All her work to maintain a reputation would be wasted. Better keep her wits.
"Hello, Professor, How are you?" She smiled at the kind man then she chose a spot and settled in getting ready for the last lesson.

Another lesson that would be her last one at Hogwarts assuming this snow let them out. Still really strange to think about. And now wasn't really the time to think about it anyway.
So the professor got the usual smile and "Hi Professor," and then Penelope plopped down on the grass with a blanket. Merlin, grass was so nice, did anyone realize that? She missed being able to sit outside like this.

"Well this is certainly one way for bring the outdoors, indoors." Nigel said making his way into his last CoMC lesson at Hogwarts. Depressing wasn't it. Nigel did not want any more depressing thought until after the class.
And since this was a nice 'day' in this room. Nigel took a spot in the corner of the room where nobody was and laid down.
Perfect time for an awesome nap.
Don't have many more chances for class naps.

Cold. Cold. Cold. When she entered the room, all Hayden could think about was the temperature. She'd had to leave the warmth of her common room and make her way through several levels of the cold, cold castle. Hopefully the Charms homework worked out, and the castle became a little more comfortable.
The second she entered the room, Hayden's eyes immediately landed on the blankets. Heated blankets? Before she even fully thought it through, she was running through the room and throwing herself down on a blanket near the middle. Then she promptly wrapped herself up in it. Yes, that was much better.
"Hello Professor." She definitely had not forgotten about him. Of course not, that was a ridiculous suggestion. Her eyes searched the room even as she was voicing her greeting and finally landed on him. She smiled convincingly. Why was he upside down? Wait, that was just her. Hayden was lying on her back with her head facing the front of the room. She figured she should probably move but she was so comfortable she'd get around to that later. At least she could see.

This...had to be as strange as classes since the lock in got. One giant nest...sure, why not? No questions from this Gryffindor. Lex walked into the classroom with a curious enough look on her face but very little in the way of 'ooooooo, ahhhhhhhhh'. Save that for the younger ones, yeah?
"Interesting classroom." She said, by way of greeting as she took her seat by Cassia. HI BEST FRIEND.
Had Airey talked to him about things? It didn't seem like it otherwise he might have been squinting at her...and asking that she sit a bit closer for the sake of being sure she HEARD the message given in the lesson. Although...what was the likelihood he'd teach a class on why you shouldn't eat the animals in the sanctuary if times got hard enough and they ran out of food?
That wasn't usually on the agenda.

There was grass. Beverly's missed grass. She's also missed the sun and warm breeze and butterflies and rain and spring and summer and...NOT the cold. Rubbing her hands up and down her arms she entered the not-so-CoMC classroom.
This was artificial. Granted, she appreciated the change of scenery but she couldn't help think it wasn't the real thing. And couldn't help long for the real thing.
"Hello, Professor Thompson," she greeted before flopping down on a blanket. Beverly snatched the one next to hers and wrapped it around herself. More blankets for her.

There was grass.
There. Was freaking. GRASS.
This was a VERY BIG DEAL, MKAY?!
He had only just found the room and taken a step inside -- thanks for all the signs, 'fessor -- when he found himself staring down at the thing beneath his feet. When was the last time he had seen these bad boys? The fifteen year old couldn't remember. Swear, it was THAT long ago. Unless he simply had a bad memory.
............. NAH!
Another interesting set up was the huge nest way over there. Er. Okay. Sure, that was completely normal. As long as the man didn't expect them to pretend to be magical birds and whatnot for the duration of the lesson, Grayson was cool with this. It would be like that History of Magic lesson all over again: one filled with hilarity and bucket loads of embarrassment.
"Hey, Professor!" he called as he made his way over there and plopped down on a blanket. HEATED blanket. Hello, YOU'RE certainly welcome. The cold really wasn't. So, the Slytherin wrapped the blanket around himself in an attempt to heat up. His bottom wasn't the ONLY thing that needed to be kept warm, you know.

Lux was curious to see how Professor Thompson would manage to do a Care of Magical Creatures lesson inside the castle, and stepping inside the room she had to admit it was rather impressive. Making the indoors look like outside was pretty cool. Professor Fuller had done the same thing last term when they had that lesson on some daydream charm. It had been a lot of fun.
Spotting some of her friends, she waved at them before taking a seat on a heated blanket. This was pretty awesome. Heated blankets were wonderful things in her opinion. "Hello, Professor Thompson. How are you?"

Doth his eyes deceivth him or did he seeth the greenest of pastures that ever a human hath laid wondrous eyes upon?
He blinked. Uhh.. What? Simon pursed his lips and tried to figure out whether or not this was a dream. The boy glanced down at his clothes to make sure that he wasn't wearing his pajamas because if he was, then it HAD to have been a dream. It wasn't a dream. He pinched himself. OW! Definitely not a dream.
With wide blue eyes, he continued into the room with widened blue eyes. There wasn't any snow. He had forgotten how wonderful and green grass looked. He turned to the Professor. "Hello Professor. I'm glad to see grass here. I almost forgot how green it was. How are you?" he asked and then made his way towards Zander and Grayson. He made hand signals to them as if he was saying, 'SWEET MOTHER OF MERLIN!! GRASS. GRASS. HOW? WHAT? WHY?' Simon could have spazzed out about all of this; however, he kept quiet.
Jonas stepped into the room and his eyes widened "Wow," He whispered noticing all the grass. He wondered how there was grass indoors. He looked around wondering if there was seats to sit on or anything. It's kind of weird that he was in his fourth year at Hogwarts and didn't bother to make any friends. He should really start that next year in his fifth year. Being alone wasn't always the best option in life.

COMC class...inside?
Now that was a switch. But not entirely an unsuspected one given the fact they were essentially trapped indoors and Herbology had already been moved. It did though feel weird to be walking into an actual classroom for the lesson. Until he stepped into the doorway and noticed just what Professor Thompson had been up to.
He had brought the outdoors...indoors.
Now if was only as warm as the picturesque landscape made it look. Oh well. One couldn't be too greedy. "Hello Professor," he greeted as he stepped further inside. Next class was Care of Magical Creatures. Ethan wondered as he made his way towards the classroom about his cousin who loves this class. The former Slytherin has a huge potential to do well as an Auror, but instead chose to become a Dragonologist. Ethan however mused about his interest in another subject and the fun things he can do with it. The Slytherin opened the door to the classroom, and spotted the professor right away, oblivious to the outdoor scene before him. “Good day, Professor Thompson!” with a grin, he closed the door behind him and walked further into the room.
Crunch, crunch.
Whaaat? Ethan slowly looked at his feet and saw that there was grass. The blond boy gasped and…grass? GRASS??? He then looked up to see that the ceiling was enchanted too. But grass! The shocked face was replaced with a goofy grin. Ethan dashed towards Grayson, Simon, and Zander, and purposefully tripped himself, and rolled towards the group. “SweetMERLINwehavegrassyouguys!” he said as he laid on his back and waved his arms and legs, as if making a snow angel. “Aaaaah. The end of the school year was near, and that alone was the reason why Sophie managed to get herself in the mood for this class. Any class, really. She'd wanted to give up when the cold set in and just stay bundled up in bed all day long. She tried not to think about the fact that she was a little worried they'd still be snowed in when it was time for the train to come pick them up.
Sophie entered the room and noticed right away that the professor had taken care to at least transform the room a bit. It almost reminded her of where they usually had their lesson. "Hello, Professor," she said, and she passed up the nest to join the rest of the students.

Of course his favourite class had to take place inside this time around. Was this crazy winter never going to end? Adi missed the great outdoors. But stepping into what he thought was going to be a classroom, the third year was surprised and pleased to see it looked nothing like a classroom. This was awesome! At least Professor Thompson had made it look like they wee outside.
Speaking of Thompson..."Hello, Professor.'' Adi smiled cheerfully then headed off, hoping to find either AJ or Benny. He saw AJ sitting with Angel. He waved to them, Jasmine and Lux. And there was Benny. His best friend had actually beaten him to class? Well, that shouldn't be too surprising. CoMC was Benny's favourite class. His too. Yep.

Motioning a tight arc shape in mid-air before lowering his wand to reveal a previously invisible creature now fully visible who was busy nomming on a furry treat. "Anyone want to take a guess on what this creature is?" Quite a few older students will definitely be able to hopefully.

"Good day everyone. While our class may be indoors now, that won't stop us from getting to see another live creature today." Wait for it.. "In fact, we actually have a special guest here." Javy then drew his wand out pointing his wand in the direction of the open nest. Motioning a tight arc shape in mid-air before lowering his wand to reveal a previously invisible creature now fully visible who was busy nomming on a furry treat. "Anyone want to take a guess on what this creature is?" Quite a few older students will definitely be able to hopefully.
Upon hearing the professor’s voice, Ethan sat up, hair tousled and grinned at the man, because lesson was starting. The blond boy scooted closer to the other boys and watched as the Creatures Professor revealed something…a creature on the huge nest. Oh he knows this one! Thanks to that disruptedCreatures meeting they had.
“That’s a Hippogriff, professor.” He said with a raised hand. Ethan looked it up right after the professor had given them a plush toy resembling one. Majestic creatures, they were. Mhm.

The nest had not been the most important thing in the room, so Hayden had not focused on it when she entered. She'd been more concerned with the heated blankets. But when the professor waved his wand, her gaze had followed where he was pointing. At least for a moment, before things got too disorienting because she was still upside down. Hayden rolled around so she was laying on her stomach but she kept the blanket wrapped around her.
Had that creature been there the whole time too? Hayden probably couldn't have been that unobservant. Probably. Either way, she didn't dwell on it. She just raised her hand. "That's a Hippogriff." Yeah, she actually knew something.

Sophie watched as the previously empty nest suddenly revealed a Hippogriff, which had previously been unseen. She should have known that's what was in the nest. With a nest that large, there wasn't many things it could be. Kind of cool to have one here inside the castle. A few others had already chimed in and said the correct answer, but Sophie raised her hand anyway. "A Hippogriff," she said, although she couldn't help but think maybe the professor was looking for something more outside of the box. Still...it was a Hippogriff.

Jasmine was waiting for class to begin when she saw Adi enter the room and give her a wave. She waved back at him and gave him a friendly smile.
Before she knew it the Professor had called the class to order. Then he revealed what had actually been sitting in that large nest. Was it? Yes it was. Jasmine raised her hand and said, "That's a Hippogriff". Cool. She wondered what they would be doing with him today.
