Watching as his friend, yes friend ZANDER HAS A FRIEND *REJOICE*, confunded gnome for real this time Zander couldn't help, but chuckle and applaud. "Nice one, Bay!" Then drawing his attention back to his own gnome, the third year realized that he'd better move quick before the spell wore off. "Here I go, wish me luck!" And before he could say anything more, the boy began to spin the gnome as fast as he could.

And this time he stopped as soon as he felt the slightest bit dizzy. YAY! So far so good. Now for the hard part, the throw. Zander never really did have good aim. "AHHH!" And with a sudden whip of his arm Zander let the gnome go flying into the air and it finally landed in the pen! "I DID IT!" One down one more to go?"

"Couldn't have done it without you, mate. Thanks for the help!" Seeee this is what real house-mates were supposed to be like. Not like that Zahra and her arm-biting. That was not cool. But Bay, he was plenty cool. Yes. Zander liked Bay.

"thanks man" he smiled, he had done more then enough to help get rid of these gnomes so he was going to stand around and help Zander if he needed it. "good luck" he watched him do it again and he got another one "see easy peasy now all you have to do is throw him far away" he laughed.

"no problem man, thats what friends are for.. I'm done but if you want me to stick around i can" it all depended if Zander needed Bay.

AH He said the F-word, 'Friend' that is, it is official. A real friend. All for himself. YAY FOR FRIENDSHIP. *ahem* Anyways.... "Yeah, now that I know how to keep them under control (thanks to his FRIEND) it shouldn't be that hard!" He smiled back at Bay and felt a new burst of confidence within himself. Wow, is this what friendship does to a person? Woooowww why didn't he get friends sooner? THIS WAS AWESOME.

Aw Bay was even willing to stay and help him out! Friends are so nice. Friends. Friends. Friends. Even the word itself sounded NICE. "Oh, don't worry about it. You basically taught me how to do it, so I should be fine to get another one," he assured the older boy. "I know you're probably dying to leave anyways," he chuckled. Now back to gnome hunting.

Who would be his next victim muahaha. Zander turned his attention away from his ~~FRIEND~~ in order to find the next gnome to target. HMmmm which one will it be this time! AH a nasty little one was running this way! You shall do perfect. "CONFUNDO!" AND BOOM. Nice one.

Running after a gnome, that thought never crossed her mind but here she was doing it.

Sport was never her thing, its more her brother's. She never actually do sport except maybe walking around the house if you could called that sport. After a few minutes running around, Candice felt out of breath.

Breath in...Breath out...Breath in....Breath out...

She saw the gnome was smirking at her or maybe its just her imagination. "You little gnome....." And that ugly thing now was running towards her, challenging her. She's not going to use her foot again this time. No sir, she's not going to let the gnome bite her foot again. Once was enough. The Gryffindor took out her wand and pointed it at the garden gnome "Aguamenti!" She saw an older Hufflepuff (Lislchen)) did that spell earlier and since she had a limited knowledge in spells so she decided to give it a go. A jet of water came out from the top of her wand and hit the gnome right on its ugly face. "YEEEES..!!!" Thank you older Hufflepuff girl whose name I didn't know.

Yeah, so the gnome that she tried to sneak up on, totally heard or something since it was now running away. And guess what, Cassia Somerlad didn't feel like running after one much. She didn't need to in her grandma's garden since the area was smaller. But it looked like she had to now. And maybe she could do it without the use of a spell, too ? Maybe, she'd try once or twice. Then totally go with the easier option.

Her eyes picked a target gnome and she RAN towards it then hopped over it and swung around all gracefully to cut its path. HA! Piece of cake. Except she really was panting hard now. But the good news was that she just in time managed to extend her leg and pin the gnome in place. Without crushing it of course.

But the thing of course kept wiggling and Cassia didn't like the idea of her hand reaching for the gnome's feet but she still had to do it. The thing BIT her!! Cassia gasped and drew her hand away just enough for the gnome to start running again. "Stupefy" she used magic after all.

Oh, well, she tried. But the good thing was that she now easily picked the gnome up from its feet.

Okay, that was one gnome finished. Still fuming with anger, Leah looked around, where people already leaving. A gnome was peeking out of its hiding place, thinking that our little de-gnoming activity was over. That was it! What was that spell everyone was using? She hoped that she had learned that one, it sounded very useful. Watchfully, the second year yelled, "Stupefi..?" No light. Nothing. But the gnome turned around and spotted her.

She ran and tried to stop it by her foot, but ended up skidding down onto the ground. Rubbing her knee, she stood up and grabbed hold of the gnome. Hello, little one?

Spinning.

Jun was spinning, try to get the gnome dizzy instead of himself. But he was getting a bit woozy. Was capturing one and using a catapult on them a bad thing? Or even allowed? That way when the gnome was dizzy, you set it on the catapult and just launch it out of the garden. Simple. Spinning a few more times, Jun let the gnome go and watched it fly; still trying to keep his posture. The gnome had hit the fence, but ended up on the other side. Phew. That would've been bad. Now to look for another one.

And speak of the devil.

Another ran by him and Jun began his chase again, still dizzy from earlier. Please slow down, Mr. Gnome!

This time she may have put even more force into the spell, seeing as the little gnome was not only knocked off its feet but also a few meters away from her. Oops. Well, the creature deserved it, really. It had made her RUN after it. CHASE it. So there, that was the punishment for not just coming towards her in the first place.

Quickly glancing around to make sure the professor hadn't seen, Olly followed to where the gnome lay on its back. It seemed to be conscious. Ish. She tilted her head to the side and considered the the ugly thing in silence for a moment. Right. She should toss it away and over the fence, too, shouldn't she? So she could leave like she'd seen some of the other students do.

Yes. Good plan.

She slowly approached the gnome and, after making sure her gloves were on properly, eventually reached down to grab it by its ankles. Only to drop it again a second later when the STUPID (Olly used a not so nice adjective for it in her head) thing spat water at her. Apparently it wasn't quite unconscious after all.

.......now she had a wet face.

And no gnome.

Or at least not yet. The spell did seem to have had an effect on the garden gnome, seeing as it wasn't quite as fast as before. Olly rubbed her hands over her face in an attempt to get the water out of her eyes before chasing after it again.

She was going to catch it. If it was the last thing she did.

A firm grip on the little guy's legs once more, Benny was ready for his second attempt of throwing him over the fence and out of the garden. This time he was going to remain more focused on the boundaries and challenges as he spun to be ready for the throw. The third year took a stance and began circling in a clockwise direction...spinning and spinning and spinning. His eyes on the spot over the fence he was aiming for as he moved and tried to keep himself from getting dizzy.

Finally he had had all he could take and as he made the final spin with the gnome high in the air in his grasp, Ben let go. The creature continuing in its previous movement and sailing through the air. Over the fence as the Gryffindor watched.

YES!!! That's one.

It was actually fun watching his peers do the de-gnoming. From small first years trying to catch the creature without the help of magic, to the toughie looking older boys who looked rather stupid chasing and being chased by the gnome. So much for poise and such. Hehehe.

Ethan turned as he heard their professor call out the next instruction.

Wait that was it? He was just taking a breather, and now the class is done? Just like that? The Slytherin shrugged and walked towards the professor to claim the promised reward. They were to toss at least two gnomes, yeah? He managed to get at least 10 creatures across the pen, so he was way beyond safe to get out of the garden.

The Slytherin gave the professor a nod as he removed his own gloves, dunked his hand inside the bag and got himself a piece of the reward. Ethan examined it by turning it over and over in his hand.

Shrug.

“Thanks, Professor!” Ethan beamed at the man, pocketed his reward and made his way out of the garden dancing. It was indeed, a good day.

Now that he knew how this worke, the Gryffindor moved a bit faster while chasing another gnome that he had seen a second ago. It was some distance away and Kevin gasped for breath as the creature finally vanished out of his sight. Wait, why was he even wasting his time to try and catch them when he could also use magic?!

He switched his wand in his right hand and held it up as he looked around. A gnome caught his attention and the second year send a stunning spell in its direction. It missed so he went after it himself and when he was close by he used it again.

This time the spell did hit the gnome and Kevin quickly grabbed its feet before the spell would work out. He was able to do this spell but wasnt very good at the power behind it...yet. He spun aroun, making sure he aimed at the right side and after a couple of spins he let go of the gnome. He stumbled on his place and even fell on the tall grass from being too dizzy. He held a hand against his forehead and looked at his gnome flying in the air....before it landed i the pen...woohoo that was one~

The chase was on. Finally being able to run properly, the boy chased after the gnome from earlier. Jun just had to catch one more gnome and throw it over the fence to get out of here. Honestly, it wasn't easy. These little creatures liked to bite and were fast. The gnome he was after kept turning corners. Jun tried his best to keep up and follow closely behind. It was worse than the astronomy class they had earlier. It would be so much easier to catch the gnome if it were in a--

Waiiiiiiit

"Ugh!" Jun lost the gnome. Too much thinking made him lose focus on it. Seriously, Thompson. This better be the last class with de-gnoming. Though it was good exercise to keep the boy in shape, it was too tiring already. Sighing, Jun caught his breath and started looking for another gnome. Hopefully one would pop out soon.

Spinnnnnnnn.

It was fun, other than the gnome thing gibbering above her. Aaaand FIRE! Wait, wrong direction! Leah slapped her forehead, forgetting that a gnome was in her hand just a moment ago. The gnome fell down onto the ground just a few feet in front and stood up, dizzily. Apparently it had crossed eyes.

The second year, her face red, continued her chase at the gnome. She had to do this for her dignity.

It seemed like forever since Jun last saw that one gnome that escaped or another. Kneeling every so often to find one, he kept walking, wanting to just give up and head back to the common room. His bed was calling his name loud and clear already. Still, no little feet have been seen. Pretty sure most students were done by now and receiving their rewards for this. Jun wanted the reward. But who knew how long he was going to last in here. Getting up from the floor, something bit his hand before completely standing straight.

"Oooouch!" Jun pulled his hand away quickly and glares at the creature. Yup, he was now chasing this one. Ignoring the small pain in his hand, he ran after the gnome. Maybe this'll be the last one he can catch.

Gnome in hand, the snake rolled her shoulders in preparation for a round of spinning. And just as she started spinning she remembered that she didn't really check if the gnome she threw a bit ago ended up OUT the field and on the pens or the ground. Ehh.. she could only hope that it did. And like who' know if it didn't? Well, many would since the gnome would be walking around still. She might search for it after she was done with this one. Which was very hard because no one could possibly tell one gnome apart from the other.

Chasing a new one was so much easier.

Right after she threw this one over the pens. Hold that thought. A change of plans occurred just now when she spotted someone nearby. Olivia Clarke looked like she was born to de-gnome. lol, no at all. The Hufflepuff, to Cassia's joy, looked like she wasn't doing that well. And did she just get squirted with water?! Gnomes were her favorite now. And just when Olly was rubbing her face, Cassia released the gnome in the other girl's direction and immediately turned away to look for another gnome. That one escaped, Oops.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" With a sudden brilliant idea, Leah pulled out her wand and pointed it at the fleeing gnome. Whoosh, and it was in the air. The second year, grinning, reached out for it and took it in her hands.

This time, she aimed at the fence, and started spinning. Once, twice, three times.. until she herself was dizzy, she threw it high into the air... and it was right ON the fence. Leah groaned. Did she have to do everything over again? She rubbed her hands together angrily.

That was when the gnome sat up, shook its head twice, and fell over the fence on its on and disappeared out of sight. The girl could not help it. She cheered out loud.

Well, that was two down and who knew how many to go. Sophie looked around and noted that a good bit of the class was still out here chasing down the gnomes and tossing them out. She didn't feel she'd down quite enough to get proper credit for this, so she decided to keep going, as well.

With her wand raised, she continued to roam the area in search of a gnome. They were getting more difficult to find, since a good portion of them had been tossed out. Nevertheless, Sophie spotted a rather unruly one running nearby. He looked like he was taunting the students and just daring them to catch him.

Well, dare taken.

Sophie pointed her wand toward the gnome and chased after it. "Confundo!" she said. Her spell just missed the gnome and was enough to let it know she was on to it. It ran faster, but so did Sophie. "Confundo!" she said again.

Her gnome was still in the ground, wet and not moving? Did she just kill a gnome? With the Water-making spell?

Poke...Poke..

The gnome was still alive, people. False alarm. "I better hurry and throw this gnome over the fence before it run away again." Candice quickly grabbed the creature on the legs and started spinning. She was spinning with a gnome.

"Wohoooooooo...!!!" And Wuuuuuussssshhh. Off he goes or she.

The Gryffindor watched as her gnome landed in the tall grass area. "Bull's eye." Fist pump. Now that she already send two gnomes flying she could go, right? She knew the Professor said that there's a reward if you catch more than two but she's not going after another gnome. Nu uuuuuh.

Now that she's done with the gnome, Candice removed her gloves and put it in her bag. "Thanks for the lesson, Professor." Its really interesting lesson but she's not going to do de-gnoming anytime soon. "Good Day."

The second spell hit the gnome, and just like the first gnome, this one looked very shocked and began to sway in place. Sophie didn't hesitate this time. She ran forward and scooped up the creature into her hands, immediately turning it upside down. When it was securely there, she began spinning and spinning. Coming to a stop, she tossed the creature in the direction she'd tossed the other two.

Only...she missed.

Wait. She MISSED?! The little gnome, in an almost mocking way, appeared to laugh and began running back toward the garden. Oh, heck no! Sophie was determined to get that particular gnome out this garden!

Toby was basically having the time of his lfe, charging about this little garden area for that one particular gnome. He kept his eye on the same one, not tempted to even try and catch any other gnomes that were easier targets. He'd made up his mind on this one.

Success finally came when the gnome had looked back to see how close Toby was. This was poorly timed, as a fence post was right up ahead. The little potato-head turned back just in time to spot it and make a turn, it's feet scrambling at the dirt. It gave Toby enough time to scoop it up.

Holding up the gnome by the leg, Toby tried to look closely at the gnome, and have a proper look at one for the first time. Unfortunately the garden gnome had other ideas, and immediately struck out a fist that might have caught Tobias on the nose had he not ducked away so quickly.

Okay, fine. It was probably best to spend as little time holding the gnomes as possible, both because of the whole injury risk and Toby's tendency to get attached to... anything.

So, with the gnome now trying to lean up and bite Toby's finger, the fourth year stepped up a little closer to the fence and made sure he had space to start trying to spin.

Spells..Charms...Anything!

What could she use to stop this gnome? And why were these things so fast? Josette was still frantically scrambling in her brain trying to think of something? Was there someone in the class that could suggest one to her? Maybe the Professor could? Maybe-OH WAIT! That's it! It was like her brain has some sort of a jolt, like a book had practically opened right to a charm in her head! Pulling her wand out again, she'd aimed it straight ahead of her at the sprinting gnome.

...Now it was just about aiming her wand properly..

Don't want to hit anyone besides the gnome..

What did the Professor classify as 'done'? Having thrown at least two gnomes from the garden? She'd booted three...or something like that. Really she'd lost all sense of counting and numbers after she'd gone in pursuit of that particularly difficult gnome earlier. Well in any case she was happy to be rid of the gloves so at the Professor's mention, Lex yanked them off and plonked them back in the bucket. "Never again." Referring to the gloves of course. In future she'd bring her own.

The Gryffindor looked curiously at the prize before taking one. "Thanks Professor. It won't heal the bite marks and I'll probably need a real long shower after this but they've got acromantula's on 'em so I guess it's cool."

Yup. Shiny thing too. That got it extra marks in her book. Not bothering to have another look around, Lex headed straight through the gate and back to the castle. There was dirt everywhere and she needed to fix this.

Jun lunged himself at the gnome and missed. Quickly getting back on his feet, trying not to get far from the gnome, he chases after it again. This one was not getting away. Even if he didn't manage to throw it over the fence, he still wanted to throw this one. Casting stupefy at the gnome, it was hit and fell to the floor. Grabbing the gnome upside down, Jun spun around enough and the gnome fly.

Go bite someone else now.

...or chasing after the gnome would have been the plan anyway. If it hadn't been for the GNOME HITTING HER RIGHT IN THE FACE! Or well, the side of her head but same difference.

WHAT THE HELL?!?!?

Olly whirled around, reaching up to cup the part of her head that had been hit by the gnome. Which HURT by the way. A lot. Trying to figure out which direction it had come from, the Hufflepuff eyed a few of her fellow students before finding herself looking at Cassia's back. Was that.....but she couldn't be sure. Would she dare? They were IN class after all.

And Olly was nowhere near the fence.

Just in case it HAD been the Head Girl, Olly sent a trip jinx her way. Seeing as she'd of course by now lost the wet gnome she took the time to glance around in search for other ones. One more, she just needed one more.

Mister Gnome was putting up quite a fight, which didn't surprise Caleb in the least since he'd just stopped it with his foot and didn't use any spells or anything. He could totally do this just with his awesome strength, he was sure of it!

Picking up the gnome, who had now taken to trying to hit Caleb's ankles with his beefy little fists, he began to swing him around. Unfortunately, Caleb hadn't counted on the fact that the gnome would STILL be fighting even when he grabbed him, and...

CHOMP!

The little gnome had gotten ahold of his finger. OUCH!

"AHHHH! Stupid gnome!" he yelled out, dropping it and watching in dismay as it ran away.

Yeah. Maybe next time he'd use the Confundus charm or something cause that had backfired TREMENDOUSLY.
