Post 6 SPOILER!!: Agatha He didn't miss the other one coming, all right. And he was ready to tackle it because... "I'm on faaaiiiaaaah!!!" He did stop though and deadpanned when Agatha stopped him from attacking the gnome and saw her magically tickle the gnome. He did use that spell the first time, and the laughter was contagious. Ethan would have sat there and laughed with the gnome all day, but the she-snake was asking him to do the other half of the de-gnoming process. "Nu-uh." he said as he wiggled a finger at Agatha's face. "Your catch, your throw." he added and gestured towards the tall grass. "Come on. Let me see what you got." BEAMS. Ethan got distracted when a gnome ran behind them. "'scuse me!" he said as he ran off and chased the gnome. The Slytherin got hold of its legs and pulled the stubborn gnome towards him since the creature had a death grip on the fence. "Let. Go. Let. GO!" Ethan pulled with all his might and he ended up tumbling backwards with the gnome. He didn't waste his time to stand up and spun around a couple of times and threw the gnome across the tall grass. "Farewell, my friend!....ANDDON'TCOMEBACK!" Did Agatha see that? She really should be taking down notes. |
Post 3 Lucy looked over the fence of the garden to see where the grass was high .. She moved laterally clutching the gnome..Now it's the moment.. With a couple of arm rotation Lucy threw the gnome with all the strength she had .."Hurrah! Dad would be proud of me now!" she said! |

Right. She held the gnome by the ankles and backed up a bit before starting to spin in circles. |

Wait, it was squirming like the other one! Frowning, he started spinning the gnome and threw it, but he winced as it hit the fence instead. Okay, yeah, he wasn't doing that again. Poor gnome! He was peering at the fence through his fingers now. |

#5 Text Cut: Ethannn How RUDE. Agatha frowned at Ethan when he failed to obey her command and frowned at the stupid gnome as well. Hmph. "Fine." She said stubbornly, grabbing the creature's feet and not bothering to step away from Ethan before starting to spin around. If he got hit, it was his problem. She didn't realise the other thrid year were off to deal with another gnome when she was spinnig around, her beautiful hair going everywhere again. She couldn't SEE a THING. Merlin, that was ANNOYING. But there she went spinning... and spinning... and spinning... she had the option of either doing the whole ballet technique of focusing on one specific point and dealing with her hair just fine or she would de-gnome properly, because that thing was HEAVY. So she had to go with not using her technique so the gnome would be spun around the right way. Urgh. HAIR ALL OVER HER FACE. SHE COULDN'T SEE A THING. So. Annoying. Agatha finally let go of the gnome's feet and stumbled around as she tried to get her hair out of her face. When she managed to stand up steadily, she looked around and had no idea where the gnome had gone. Hopefully that meant she had done it properly. "Did you see that?" She asked Ethan. If she had done well, he'd better praise her, if not... well, he'd let her know. Maybe it hadn't been a good idea to ask him... |

Post 2 Ugh. There were just too many people around, and every time Mo spotted a gnome, someone got in the way or grabbed it first or distracted him. It made the seventh year grumpy, and he didn't like being grumpy. He finally made his way to the perimeter and started kicking bushes and trying to roust out a gnome that way. Roust, gnome. ROUST. Finally, Mo spotted one nobbly little ear poking out of some long grass, and he reached down and grabbed it, dragging the whole potato-head out of the weeds. While the gnome attempted valiantly to give vicious bites, Mo managed to dodge getting wounded. Narrowly, but he was bite-free. "Settle down, mister. No one's hurting you. Much." |

#1 Kate hesitated. She had to catch and fling two gnomes. She shuddered, then remembered she was wearing gloves. Thank goodness for gloves. Rolling up her sleeves a little bit, Kate looked around for a gnome. She needed to get started, and for that she needed a gnome. "Here, gnomey, gnomey…" Seriously, though, where were all of them? Aha! A gnome! Completely forgetting that she wasn't supposed to hurt it and that it would try to bite her, Kate pounced on the gnome. Pinning it down with two hands, she noticed it trying to bite her. Oh. She needed to keep her fingers away from its nasty gnome teeth. Kate wrinkled her nose. Gripping it carefully around its potato-y torso, Kate picked up the gnome and grinned at her accomplishment. She had caught a gnome with her bare (well, gloved) hands! |

"If you leave you'll get detention!" she hissed back to him. "And...I want you here." GAG, merlin had she seriously just said that??? "And anyway, it'll be okay, the professor will make sure it's not dead or anything!" She reached out to grab his arm "Please stay anyway. At least help me get them over the fence..." She might get tackled by another one! She really didn't want to be... |
Post 7 SPOILER!!: Agatha Ethan had the biggest smile on his face as he saw his gnome go over the pen and into the tall grass. Ethan=Winning, Gnome=Losing. He spun around to check on Agatha's progress, but as he did so, Agatha's gnome smacked the side of his head. "OUCH!" The Slytherin could swear that he was seeing double as he massaged his head. "Oh yeah, I did see that." Did she know she was failing at this? Gosh. Girls. "This. Is how you do it." Ethan picked up the gnome which was probably half-knocked out by its leg and shook it in front of Agatha. "This is your gnome. You hold it by the leg, spin around to make it dizzy, and throw it at an angle aiming for the tall grass over there." he said as he pointed the target with the gnome on his hand. "Watch." Ethan performed the de-gnoming process away from Agatha and threw it across the tall grass. "And the gnome goes bye-bye." The Slytherin would have given her a grin, but the slight pain he felt on his head prevented him from doing it. "Where is Bart when you need him?" |

5 Searching for a gnome happened. Marigold saw a couple that she was going to try and catch, but other students kept grabbing them. She noticed one a little ways away, so instead of trying to catch it with her foot, she took out her wand. "Petrificus Totalus!" she said, then pointed her wand at the gnome. She ran forward when she realized it had stopped moving. Go her, woot! |

#2 Norah scanned the pandemonium for that pesky gnome that had escaped her. Another potato-headed creature threaded it's way through her legs and continued on it's path to her left. She couldn't tell if it was the same one, but with her adrenaline pumping like this it didn't really matter. She pranced in front of the gnome and stood firmly in it's path, arms shoulder width apart and hands on her hips. She was ready for action. The gnome stopped a few inches from her feet and gave her a squinty eyed scowl. She lifted a leg to stop it, but just then another gnome went whizzing over her head, and she lost her balance. She landed with a muffled thud on the hard packed earth and by the time she had brushed her scraggly curls from her face, the gnome was continuing on it's way. She swore she could hear it chuckling. Meanie. |

FINALLY! The gnome fell over the fence to the other side. Well at least she wouldn't know now if it were knocked out or not. Poor gnome....she thought as she looked at Dan's again. |
Post 2 Bay wanted to drown his head in water from running around chasing after these things, he saw other students catching them.. "how on earth are they doing this?" he thought as he made a run for another one. Just before his hands could grab a hold it slipped through his sweaty fingers. "ugggghhhhhh" he screamed at himself as he stopped to catch his breath. This was such a work out. Maybe if he stayed near a corner it would help him catch these fast buggers quicker. Running over to a cover of the patch he kept an eye open so he couldn't miss one. |

Post 3 Gwen cast her eyes around for a gnome, dreading having to throw one of the cute little cousins of her new pet, tucked safely in her pocket. He might even have gone to sleep. He wasn't moving. She checked quickly, yep, still breathing. The little guy was asleep. She would have to come up with a name for him, assuming she got to keep him. She turned to the left, spotting a running gnome just as a different gnome, airborne by someone else's throw, hit her in her back. Gwen said a word her mom would have smacked her for if she'd heard, and turned around to see whose bad aim had caused that. Not seeing anybody who it might have been, Gwen picked up the already dizzy gnome. "You okay little guy? I'm really sorry about this, but I have to get you over the fence." She couldn't throw him. He was already all dizzy and stumbling around. She took two steps over to the fence and set him down gently on the other side, facing away from the garden so he would toddle in that direction. One down, one to go. |

#6 Text Cut: Bwahahahahaha! Woops. "You should get out of the way!" Agatha rolled her eyes at him as she walked over to where he was standing now. She watched him getting rid of the gnome and felt a mixture of anger for having failed and achievement for getting Ethan to the work for her. She chose to focus on the achievement this time, and fixed her beautiful hair once again to make sure it was alright after all that spinning around. Ethan started to explain to her how to do it and Agatha huffed annoyed. "That's what I did! Rictusempra!" She casted the spell on yet another gnome that was shuffling past them. Oh no... was Ethan going to laugh with the gnome again? Agatha regreted using that spell as soon as she pronounced the incantation. Ignoring whatever reaction that was coming from Ethan, she went to hold the gnome's feet and lifted it up as it laughed. She shook it a bit because she was still annoyed. "Is there any other way to make it dizzy?" She'd rather use another method, if there was one. The pirouette one was definitely not working. "Actually, show me how to do it again." Agatha held the upside-down gnome out so Ethan could take it from her. She couldn't do it so she wasn't going to make a fool of herself. Again. |
