Angel was just sat quietly trying not to laugh at her sister AJ for being so silly as to spill something so hot into her lap, seriously hadn't she been told it was a stupid thing to do, okay so she was spooked but still she had to be more careful, Angel just stayed in silence hoping her sister didn't see the look on her face.

Professor Glendower tried to give Lux a sympathetic smile. She could tell even with her attempts at reassurance that she was still very worried. "I don't think Mr. Kitridge would put anyone in any danger. I'm sure if it even looks that way that he will take safety measures." She was fairly confident of that and there wasn't really anything they could do, worry was unproductive.

Holding the door open for the girl, Nessa headed back inside the library and shook her head. "No.. you're not in any trouble. Let's see if we can finish things up and then maybe we'll end a little early." It just did not seem to be going well right now, so maybe it would be better to try again another time. "Maybe some hot chocolate will help."

She looked around at the group of students still there. Good, didn't seem like any issue had come up in the few minutes she had been gone. "So.. Charades anyone?" She went to get her bowl with the slips of paper from the table when she noticed some movement from outside the window. "Oh I think they might be returning," she said, moving to the window to see. Er.. were people being levitated? It was hard to tell from where she was standing, but it did not look good. "Okay, everyone," she said, putting on a bright smile. "I think we're going to end it here for tonight.. we'll try again, perhaps, when we'll hopefully not get interrupted." It was just too distracting right now and she was really unsure of what was going on.

"I'd like everyone to return to their dorms, please." It was getting late and they did not need to be out past curfew. But she gave a look to Lux. She knew the girl was worried and if she'd like her to escort her downstairs to make sure her friend was alright, she would.

A game sounded fun. Anything that would get them up and moving had to be a good thing on account of how cold it was. AJ would have gotten herself another hot chocolate but she was still not 100% over the spill from earlier. The first year looked at the crying girl. She felt bad for her, but she thought she was being a bit dramatic. The hufflepuff should be glad that her boyfriend got a change to go out and investigate.

She was just about to express that charades sounded like fun when the professor dismissed them. Well... that was abrupt. AJ looked out the window and noticed people coming back. Wait a minute, it didn't seem like they were all walking on their own two feet. Getting up, she walked and pressed her nose to the window.

They needed to leave though. Maybe she would be able to investigate further on her way to her dorm. She had to know what went on out there. "Bye Professor."

Lucy said:"Ok Professor...I hope that everything will be fine..
..thank you, bye Professor.."

Mr Kitridge and Bay were coming back? Awesome! See, Lux? You needn't have to worry so much. But Adi couldn't blame her. He knew he would be worried too if his girlfriend had gone out to the Forest. Not that he had one. Hehe.

Aw man! Why couldn't they stay to play charades? Adi knew he would have done well at that game. Adi stood up from the comfort of his bean bag. "Bye, Professor. See you around. Thanks again for the sandwiches and hot chocolate.'' Clutching his book, he strode out of the Library, towards his dorm.

Sophie, who stayed by the window and sipped at her hot chocolate curiously even as the meeting continued along and Lux made a beeline for the exit, was unsurprised that the History of Magic professor made the girl stay put. Of course she did - though, y'know, if Lux had made it out the door, Sophie probably would have taken the opportunity to follow her in search of adventure.

What this Ravenclaw did not expect was to see the group emerge from the forest, just as the professor walked over to look, too. Were... they... levitating each other? What, had someone fainted at the sight of a large pile of frozen centaur dung? Or gotten extreme frostbite already? She couldn't make out which figures were which, though, and as Glendower dismissed them, Soph shrugged. Okay.

Bit of a waste of a meeting, but she couldn't say she minded. Charades would have been underwhelming, she was certain.

Grabbing a finger sandwich and taking the mostly-full mug of hot chocolate with her - she'd give that back later, probably - Sophie moved to go join up with the Caring for Creatures meeting to catch the end of that, but they were suddenly done, too. Hmm. With one more steal of a glance out the window down at the figures moving toward the castle, Sophie went to go find Mo and Cat and leave with them, throwing a, "Bye, professor, thanks for the memories," behind her.

Lux was relieved that she wasn't in trouble, merely for the fact that she really liked Professor Glendower and didn't want to be on her bad side. If it had been Bellaire...

Yeah, she definitely wouldn't have cared then, because Bellaire was her least favourite Professor. No warmth and too many rules.

Wiping her eyes, Lux tried to feel reassured by what she was being told. Mr. Kitridge wouldn't let Bay be eaten by one of the Acromantulas; he'd be safe and she would see him again soon. Almost as if Professor Glendower was reading her mind, it was announced that the people were returning from the forest. Oh thank Merlin. That was great news, however she did not want to go to her dormitory; she would much rather go down to see Bay. Sadly that did not seem to be an option right now.

Not minding the abrupt end to the meeting - she wasn't in the mood for charades - Lux waved goodbye to the Professor. "Have a good night!" And off she went towards the Hufflepuff Common Room.

Ian was about to answer about the centaurs when the professor got up and chased after Lux. Shameful really, having students all worried about things. It wasn't the easiest thing to deal with the cold and now worrying about the well-being of your fellow students. Ian was glad he was still a young student and didn't get asked out much concerning those type things.

When the professor returned, she said it was time to go. Ian got up rather grumpily, not very happy the book club seemed to have been cut short. They really hadn't even gotten into talking about the books, had they?

"Bye.. good-bye.. thanks for coming.. see you soon.." Nessa gave her farewells to the students as they began to leave at her dismissal and she left her small but confident smile on her face. She wasn't all that confident, but she was a great actress and was determined to put on a brave face for the children. No need to worry them senselessly when she herself didn't even know what was going on. "We'll try again another time.." Sure, she was disappointed that things didn't work out as planned, but she was even more concerned about what might have happened outside. She would need to investigate.

Nessa was a bit surprised that Lux left without much of a question about seeing if her friend was alright. But maybe she took enough comfort in her mentioning that people were returning. Either way, the children were heading to their dorms and she was going to find out for herself if everyone was alright or not. Once the students were gone, she turned to leave, noticing that Javy had dismissed his own group and was headed out himself. Perhaps she'd go with him to find out what had happened outside.
