Image credited to Govoni The Black Lake lies behind the castle and though it may seem like the water is calm on the surface, you will learn that that is not the case underwater. Creatures have made it their home from Merpeople to Grindylows. The most notable is Bartholomew Henry, the Giant Squid. The lake is a beautiful place for you to hang out.
Mr.Kirby has built a dock and lowered a step ladder down into the water. Roping off a small swimming area for Anyone to come take a dip in the Lake. The Ropes also prevents Grindylows and other unwanted magical creatures of the Lake from disturbing your swim. That doesn't mean you won't feel a Fish, or Frog brush past your leg every now and then. The ladder will be absent during Fall and Winter Months, and will not be present until Mid Spring once the weather is warm enough.
More girls. Vinnie and Charlotte. ..Quite a large group had formed now. Vesper was doing a STELLAR job there.. Józsua found the Ravenclaw quite an interesting girl even though they'd only ever exchanged a few words. She just seemed NICE. And optimistic and confident in herself and her abilities.. Plus she was a Dead Kneazle y'know? Józsua was definitely a fanboy of the band.
And West arrived at last. Usually he was the one at the forefront of these things. He got a smile. Dogs? Pffft. “Speak for yourself, mate.” *grin*
Hm.. Eyes back to the yoga gals.
*heeeead tilt*
Józsua had no ideeeea Yoga was such a great spectator sport until now. Screw football and rugby (both of which, unsurprisingly, he hated), this was much more up his street. And they'd only just started..
...Although, having said that, he was finding it difficult to focus on anything else but Derry. Derry and those famous-among-the-boys legs of hers and that.. stretching. But Józsua figured that as he was with a big group of louder-than-himself lads... he could sit and stare unbeknownst to anyone. So he did just that..
Addi's hair was nice too, he mused. The colour and the length really suited her face. Mhm.. Focus back on Derry..
Oh.. Except she was looking now. Crap. He averted his gaze, hoping she hadn't noticed and was thankful for the distraction of Benjy and his sugar quills. Józsua took one with a “Thanks, mate.” And stuck it his mouth, shivering as the breeze got up and the temperature suddenly plummeted. Merlin. British weather..
Warming charm? Józsua actually had his uses believe it or not.. And he was happy to assist when it came to magic. He sat up straight and retrieved his wand, casting a warming charm around the girls. “Better?” He asked looking directly at the redhead..

"Right. Well I'm going to... leave you all to it." He said to the other boys. And Delilah apparently. West didn't feel the chill, given he was jogging on the spot and warm from running. Grin. No dog over here. He was way more discreet with his observing, and besides, he was less inclined toward looking these days. Broken heart and all that.
"Have fun, ladies." West saluted the big ol' group of girls and chuckled to himself.
Now if Alice was there....
.... not that she'd ever go for something like what was happening but eh, what did it matter, it was only ever going to be in his imagination from now on. Smile fading, he wrinkled his nose and started running again, hoping to get stray thoughts of her out of his head.

Alllllll the way down to the lake where part number two of the birthday event was happening. Cat glanced at Sophie as they came up on the little table that she had very carefully tried to make look just like the one from the first part she and Mo had given Sophie for her birthday. It wasn't exactly the very very same, but it was quite close enough. She was also glad to see that Toby had succeeded in taking care of the table and the food and she hoped that they hadn't taken too long to walk out here. He looked just fine, if not a little bored.
"High tea for the Princess Sophie Birthday Girl." She said, wiggling her fingers at the table. "With a special guest to boot." Cat passed an excited smile to Mo before turning to watch Sophie. This was all done so that she would have a good birthday and Cat was really hoping to see a smile.

Smiling around at all three of them when they reached the tea party, she pulled Cat and Mo in for a hug and used her head to beckon Tobes over, too. "Before we proceed, a group hug is in order. This is the best. My three favorite people in the whole entire world. I dunno which of you thought this up, but..." The 'thank you' caught in her throat, and she was unsure if she could get it out without crying on accident, so instead she finished with, "You guys are the greatest. Best friends I could ever ask for." In case she didn't tell them enough.

Days of Potter 2023:___________________________ Which Bertie Botts Flavour Are You?
It was nearing the end of autumn. Leah was shivering as she walked down the grounds to the lake. She hoped she had worn more clothes inside her robes, but that would be a bigger trouble when the time came for her to go inside the lake and swim.
The second year bent down and felt the water. Not exactly freezing, but it was cool. She decided to do some stretching before diving in. She had indeed heard of someone who died because he jumped into the lake carelessly. Now, where was Angel? She had promised to be there when Leah went swimming.
It is just another swimming time. She told herself. Nothing is different. But people will be watching! Leah gritted her teeth, stretching her arms, as she thought of the many revenges she had prepared for her honorary sister.

It is just another swimming time. She told herself. Nothing is different. But people will be watching! Leah gritted her teeth, stretching her arms, as she thought of the many revenges she had prepared for her honorary sister.
Angel giggled as she looked at Leah. "Oh so you decided to do the dare then." Angel smirked as she looked at her honorary sister, seriously she could tell her best friend was going to get her back for this, she could tell. "Oh I can tell you want to get me back." Angel rolled her eyes playfully. "You'll have to get up early then one day."
"Time for you to do it now." Angel beamed, this was going to be so much fun, she just hoped Leah wouldn't be too mad with her once this was over. She knew her best friend would know that it was a laugh. "Times a wasting." Angel giggled.

Leah turned around abruptly to a familiar giggle. Angel was here. She was glad to see her, whether she gave a silly dare or not. "Yes I did, because I absolutely love dares." she replied sarcastically. "Glad you know. Then I hope you like dares too, Angel." The second year smiled innocently at her best friend.
It's time. The girl breathed in deeply and said, "Don't be so impatient. I need to get ready." she was a bit nervous, yes. Pouting her lower lip, Leah pulled her robes off to reveal pink and yellow bikinis. Before anyone could see her properly, she jumped into the lake.
But not before she could grab Angel's forearm and pull her down with her. What are best friends for?

Angel smiled as she looked at Leah. "I know you do." Angel smiled, "I feel like I've known you forever when in facts it's not been long." Angel giggled as she looked at her friend. "Oh I do." Angel winked.
"Oh you look good." Angel smiled but then her friend jumped into the lake and took her with her, that was just not nice, she was still in her robes. "Hey, You could have let me take my robes off first, I had my swimsuit on underneath." Angel pouted but then playfully splashed her friend.

It was chilly underwater. Emerging from the surface, Leah laughed. "We have known each other forever!" she yelled. Her hair was wet, and she disliked the sensation. She liked her hair in loose waves. Though she could only guess how Angel felt, still in robes and all. Yes, she had intended to do that. Leah's first stage of revenge.
"Wait, you have your swimsuit on?" Does that mean that Angel was prepared to swim in the lake? This made Leah delighted as it meant that her honorary sister was not going to stand there laughing, watching her swim. "I'm sorry then." she splashed water back. They were all soaking wet by now, it did not make much of a difference.
"Okay, I'm going for my second part of the dare. Swimming!" Leah did a freestyle further into the lake. "Why don't you take off your robes and join me?" That would be fun. More fun if the Giant Squid came for a visit.

Angel giggled as she took off her robes and looked down at her pink swimsuit. "Okay then, I'll come with you." Angel started to swim as she tried to keep up with her friend. "You are fast." Angel pouted as her friend beat her. "What we doing next?"
Didn’t like being short, hmmm Cassie had to think about this for a second, though it ended in just a giggle and a shrug, “Oh I don’t mind it really. They do say good things come in small packages.” So that was how she looked at it at least. “Only boy, you poor thing. I’m so glad I had a sister.” Really everyone should have someone to relate too. Though he might have been able to relate to his sisters. “I loved it. My older brother was very protective, but I also go the advantage of knowing things that were going to happen as I got older, because of him. Plus his friends always were so nice to me.” Especially as she got older which just the thought caused a bit more giggling. “Then I got to show my younger brother and sister new things. So it was great.”
Oh goodie the worms weren’t going to be harmed. She snapped happily, “That’s fabtabulous.” This was going to be sooo fun. She looked out at the water as he was rowing and gently put her finger tips in. “Ooooh it’s a bit cold.” She smiled and looked back up at him, “I did like Charms in school. It’s a very useful and amazing class, but most of the classes were amazing.” She wasn’t one that would have said it wasn’t even if it was. “Were you a charms boy in school?”
She was going to be able to try! Eeeep! She took them from him and looked carefully at the water. Hmm she could do this. Placing them in the water she moved her arms circular a bit much and they were much heavier then she thought. One of the oars coming up a bit too high bumping into Leo.
Leo nodded. "Yes, good things can come in small packages." Like people and candy and other glittery things women tended to like very much in the jewellery category. Cassie pitied him for being the only boy with sisters? "I liked being the only boy in the family most of the time." Leo protested slightly. He just hadn't liked his sister’s dress up games or when they had decided to use him to practice applying makeup too. He had looked ridiculous. "It's nice that you were so tight with your brother and his friends when you grew up. Not many have that. I've gotten a closer relationship with my sisters now that we are adults. We weren’t very close when we grew up." Leo loved that they were so tight now and could talk about most things naturally. "My sister Rose usually comes to me when she runs into trouble. She is the youngest."
Cassie’s snappy happy comment made Leo almost fall over in fright. He hadn't seen it coming since he had his eyes on the worms and the hooks. Shrugging he shared with a smile. "I liked Charms and I showed apt for the subject but I wasn't a boy who charmed everything he past just for a bit of fun. I know some of my house mates liked to charm the suits of armour to dance though."
Thinking that Cassie had the rowing under control Leo didn’t see the oar coming before it bumped into his side. "Ouch...." He blurted out as he rubbed his side. "Watch how your rowing." Looking around them he said. "I think we've come out far enough. So you can stop rowing." Taking one of the fishing poles he offered it to Cassie. "Here, take it. It’s yours. Now let’s fish!"

Cassie couldn’t help but beam at him. Yes they did she was glad he agreed and he got happy snaps for agreeing as well. “I bet you got so spoiled being the only boy.” That was lucky of him, she was pretty spoiled as a child, but being the only girl would have certainly had her spoiled more. “We did a lot as a family so it would have been awful to not get along. Though my younger brother really didn’t seem to fit well with the rest of us. Stayed by himself most of the time. Probably why he’s off being a muggle now.” She shrugged, he didn’t like their line of work, but it was his loss. She still got to see him and that was the important part. She giggled, “That would be my older brother I think both my sister and myself have gone to him or my parents many times. I lived with him for a bit before starting here.” Now she lived with Nessa and it was soooo fun.
“A slytherin boy charmed my hair once.” She giggled about it, “He actually charmed my shoes to dance as well.” Hmm come to think of it he had done many different things as they grew up. What was his name again? She shrugged the thought away and chuckled at the memories. The boy was always so funny.
She was rowing and then she was hitting. “OHMIGOSH” She had just hit the nice librarian with the oar. Dropping one with a clatter in the boat the other fell into the lake and without thinking she was standing in the small boat moving towards him to make sure he was alright. “I am sooo sorryyyyyyy” Tripping in the flats she was never good at and making the boat rock the blonde lost her balance moving her arms like crazy trying to stop herself from falling, but it was too late and she went backwards into the cold lake water.

SPLAAAAASH!!
Thinking about it Leo admitted with a small blush. "Yes I was a little spoiled but not overly I don’t think. My sisters got as much stuff and attention as I did." Mainly because according to his grandmother that was how it was supposed to be. "Were you spoiled as a child too?" Leo couldn’t help but wonder. The mention of Cassie’s brother going off to live as a muggle was pretty curious but not something he wanted to press her on even if she had shared that free of choice. For all he knew it could be a cause for tension in her family. "Trouble seems to find my sister Rose and when that happens she usually ends up on my doorstep sooner or later." Sigh.
"Oh how did he charm your hair? Did he give it a different colour?" Leo queried curiously. If only he had thought of that when he was younger and had a falling out with one of his sisters. Charming their hair had been excellent payback. Pity he hadn’t ever thought of that even for experimental purposes.
~~~~~~
Next minute Cassie dropped one oar with a clatter into the boat and the other fell into the lake with a small plop. Leo was about to reassure her that he was fine when she got to her feet and was walking towards him, tripping on her feet she did so causing the boat to rock and Cassie to lose her balance as she fell over the rail of the boat and into the cold water with a big SPLAAAASH!
Eyes widening in worry and surprise Leo yelled out "Cassie? Cassie?" dropping the poles he scrambled to peer over the railing. Seeing Cassie nowhere in sight fearing the worst Leo jumped into the water after her. Hopefully she could swim. Oh dear this was all his fault, why hadn’t he told her that standing up in a boat never lead to anything good?
Well this was turning out to be some interesting events. Cassie had been on the boat and now she wasn’t. She was under the water and it was freezing. The blonde looked up seeing the light above the water and started swimming towards it. Her shoes were wet, her dress was wet, her hair was wet, SHE DID NOT LIKE TO BE THIS WET!!! Finally making it to the surface and quickly opening her mouth she gasped for air and then coughed up some of the water that had been swallowed.
Once she had her breath the five foot blonde started giggling. She was soaked, her clothes ruined in the lake water, but it was funny. “OHMIGOSH” She said towards the boat assuming Leo was still on it. It wasn’t until she had swam towards it that she noticed it was empty. Turning she looked around for him. Had he jumped in after her? That was soooo sweet if he did, but where was he? Was something wrong? Grindylow hadn’t gotten him had they?
Shivering from the cold she looked frantically for the librarian until she saw movement close by. “Leo is that you?” Swimming towards him she hoped it was and not something that might drag her under.
"Hey guys!" the Hufflepuff greeted Cat, Soph and Mo enthusiastically, waving at them once he'd caught his balance. "M'Sophie," he added, giving an overly exaggerated bow to his bestie.
If there was any sort of in the air, Toby didn't notice it. He simply went over and hugged everyone, given that it was what the Birthday girl wanted. "We are. We are the greatest. It's true." Ehehehe. "And so are you. We just want you to have a perfect day, y'know?"
And food. Food? Food.
Caterina grinned in a sort of amused way when Sophie told her that Toby 'looked good'. That was adorable. Her little Soph. Goodness. "He certainly does look very handsome, doesn't he?" She nudged the birthday girl. "You should tell him so. Boys like getting compliments just as much as girls do." She hugged everyone back and gave Sophie a few kisses on her head too, because she was just the sweetest kid ever and so happy and Cat was glad that she was back to being happy after last term's awfulness.
"We were having fun." She directed to Mo who was giving advice to Toby. Though she did grin quite happily at him when he pulled her chair out for her. He was adorable. She had the best boyfriend. Cat kissed his cheek before she sat down and crossed her legs to sit like a proper lady at tea time. She ended up crossing her arms too because it was suddenly quite chilly. This was not going to be good for their birthday tea party. She'd put SO much effort into it, too! "I am. Are you?" Obviously it wasn't just her if he was asking. She glanced at Sophie and Toby to see if they too felt the change in the air.
"No one is getting married," Mo growled as he was pulled into a big old bear hug by Sophie. So he'd done something right, which was good, but all this talk about growing up was really distressing. No Sophie growing up. No Toby growing up. Definitely no he and Cat growing up. They could just sit here and pretend that this was a picture of forever.
But it wasn't. Who would celebrate with Soph when they were gone? Nope. Not thinking about this today.
"Hey, Tobe. Sorry to make you wait, but girls like to primp. Might as well get used to it now." Or their girls liked to primp, at least, and that was enough. He ruffled the younger boy's hair before gesturing toward the chair that Sophie would occupy.
And watch how this is done, mmk? Mo pulled out Cat's chair and gave a little half bow in her direction. And then shivered. Was it getting really chilly, or was he coming down with something? "Are you cold, lovely?"
"Hey guys!" the Hufflepuff greeted Cat, Soph and Mo enthusiastically, waving at them once he'd caught his balance. "M'Sophie," he added, giving an overly exaggerated bow to his bestie.
If there was any sort of in the air, Toby didn't notice it. He simply went over and hugged everyone, given that it was what the Birthday girl wanted. "We are. We are the greatest. It's true." Ehehehe. "And so are you. We just want you to have a perfect day, y'know?"
And food. Food? Food.
She hugged everyone back and gave Sophie a few kisses on her head too, because she was just the sweetest kid ever and so happy and Cat was glad that she was back to being happy after last term's awfulness.
"We were having fun." She directed to Mo who was giving advice to Toby. Though she did grin quite happily at him when he pulled her chair out for her. He was adorable. She had the best boyfriend. Cat kissed his cheek before she sat down and crossed her legs to sit like a proper lady at tea time. She ended up crossing her arms too because it was suddenly quite chilly. This was not going to be good for their birthday tea party. She'd put SO much effort into it, too! "I am. Are you?" Obviously it wasn't just her if he was asking. She should tell Toby he looked nice? Sophie eyed Cat, considering the pros and cons of that, and by the time they reached him by the table, she decided upon chiming, "You look sharp, Tobes. The most handsome prince around." To which she took the opportunity to look pointedly up at Mo. HEHEHE. Hi, Mo. Sorry. And then she bumped into him a little, instinctively trying to avoid the likely reprimand to come from his girlfriend. Hehe. Sorry to Cat, too.
Nah, she wasn't.
HUUUUUUUUUG. "Thaaanks. I hope you guys enjoy it, too, though." But how could they not? Sophie milked the group hug for all it was worth, nuzzling everyone with her cheeks and trying not to look too sad when it was over. It helped that Cat was still peppering her hair with kisses. That made it better.
And she saw what Mo did for Cat. Soph smiled happily at the two of them because they were so disgustingly cute - but Tobes was off in his own world, it seemed, so she pulled out his chair, then hopped over into her own. Totally nice of her, right? She tried to mimic Cat's posture, wanting to be all prim and proper and lady-like the way she was - but she felt the brisk chill, too, and crossed her arms. "Ruuuuuuude. It was the almost perfect weather for this, too. Make the breeze stop." She knew they couldn't, so instead, she shook one lone fist at the sky. GO AWAY, COLD WEATHER. STOP IT.
Then she looked at the group with a big smile on her face, back to being delighted. SO WHAT NOW? Were there rules? Was something supposed to happen before the tea party began?
Once she had her breath the five foot blonde started giggling. She was soaked, her clothes ruined in the lake water, but it was funny. “OHMIGOSH” She said towards the boat assuming Leo was still on it. It wasn’t until she had swam towards it that she noticed it was empty. Turning she looked around for him. Had he jumped in after her? That was soooo sweet if he did, but where was he? Was something wrong? Grindylow hadn’t gotten him had they?
Shivering from the cold she looked frantically for the librarian until she saw movement close by. “Leo is that you?” Swimming towards him she hoped it was and not something that might drag her under.
This was not how Leo had envisioned his fishing trip to turn out. He had not seen himself diving into the cold lake water to rescue Cassie. Ignoring the fact that the water was freezing cold Leo swam with good back kicks up to the water’s surface close to boat where he spitted out some lake water he had accidentally swallowed when he jumped into the water. Grabbing the rope hanging from the fore of the boat he tied it around his waist.
Certain that the he wouldn't lose the boat Leo scouted around for a sign of Cassie. Hearing hear giggle and then her query close by he swam towards her voice. Spotting her only a few meters away, he asked worriedly as he swam closer. "Cassie, thank merlin are you all right? You didn’t hit your head on the boat or something?"
Now that he had found her how exactly where they going to get back on the boat?
Angel smiled at Leah as she giggled. "Of course, I wasn't going to laugh at you." Angel couldn't believe her friend would believe this of her. "I ain't that bad, your my bestie and I would never do that to you." Angel hoped that her friend would realise she was better than that.
Angel giggled as she took off her robes and looked down at her pink swimsuit. "Okay then, I'll come with you." Angel started to swim as she tried to keep up with her friend. "You are fast." Angel pouted as her friend beat her. "What we doing next?"
Leah hugged her friend tightly, because she was so touched, and partly because she was cold. "Brrr, thank you, Angel." it was getting warmer now, what with her best friend being really nice and kind. The second year swam further and paused to wait for Angel.
"Hehe, I'm not fast." she shook her head. "I don't know, maybe swim a bit more and go back. You have a dare waiting for you." She said, smiling. Though the dare was nothing involving the lake. "Do you like swimming?" Leah did not enjoy swimming much, because of her hair getting wet and losing its wave. She felt her hair, making sure that it was okay.
She was still treading water looking around for Leo when she heard his voice and turned her green eyes on him. “Oh Leo” she couldn’t help but giggle as she swam closer to him. Putting a hand on his arm she shook her head, “No I didn’t hit my head.” He was worried about her how sweet. She splashed a little water at him and giggled more. “I told you I’m awful with flats.” If she didn’t think of her ruined clothes or hair from the lake water she could really find the humor in this situation. Though she did feel bad about the fishing trip.
“Oh my I probably scared all the fish away. I’m sooo sorry Leo. You probably will never ask me to go again.” She swam a little closer and shivered looking up at the boat. “Is the water always this cold?” She had never swam in a lake before, maybe it was normal, but the blonde was ready to get out. She looked up at the boat and then back to Leo her hand gripping his arm a little more as a bit of panic came over her. “How are we getting back in the boat?”
She looked towards the shore, they were pretty far out, but probably could swim. “Think we should swim back?” She turned her green eyes on him. He was the expert with fishing and lakes, he’d know how to either get back in the boat she just knew he would.
Cold, it was SO cold. Of course it was winter and this was expected, but it was cold enough to get your nose frozen as soon as you walked outside. The first year was prepared though. She was bundled up quite nicely, but she the winds still seemed to seep through and chill her to the bone.
The young lion found herself at the lake before she knew what she was doing. It was so pretty and peaceful looking. She really wanted to go for a swim, and couldn't wait for it to warm up so she could do so. Her thoughts went to her sister and the campfire she had promised her. Maybe she should have asked her to come down here with her. No, being alone was good. It gave her alone time which she sometimes needed.
Cris had decided to run a lap around the lake before heading in to finish up on his DADA homework. It was so cold that he had to wear his sweats today, but even though his body had warmed up while he was running, he wondered whether his nose had turned blue. It totally felt numb and Merlin...it was running just as fast as he had been.
Slowly down to a walk, he made his way over to the water's edge. He thought he was alone until he saw someone bundled up sitting alone by themselves. He faked a cough not wanting to sound like he was sneaking up on her.
"Hello, I'm sorry. I'm didn't know anyone was here. If you want some privacy, I can move on to somewhere else," he offered as he smiled down at her.
Upon hearing the cough, AJ was brought back to life and her thoughts were jumbled. She looked up to see who it was. The guy looked familiar, but she couldn't place him. Why was he so sweaty when it was freezing cold outside? It was then that she noticed the sweats.
"Sup! You're not bothering me." Nope, she was actually already getting bored since swimming was obviously not an option at the moment. "Have you been running?" That much seemed apparent. "Wanna race?" Some excitement please, plus she was pretty sure that if she just stood there that she would become a frozen statue.
"Oh, I'm AJ by the way, AJ Valentine." So, how 'bout that race?
Cris was glad the girl didn't mind him interrupting her peace and quiet. "Thanks for saying that. Yes I've been running. I usually do a couple of laps in the morning before class, but since it's getting really cold now, I've been doing my runs during the warmer parts of the day." Cris explained his presence here at the lake.
Cris had to fight to suppress his look of surprise at the girl's next question. Was she asking just for the sake of making conversation? Did she honestly want to race against him?
She listened to why he was there, and thought that running daily wouldn't be such a bad idea. It was a shame that there weren't any sports to get involved with at the school. The last thing that AJ wanted to do was to fall off her game and become lazy. Warmer parts of the day? "I don't think there's such thing. AJ was pretty sure that she was going to lose her nose in the next ten minutes or so.
"Hey Chis, it's pretty cool to meet you as well." He was obviously older and AJ could use another helpful buddy. In fact she was pretty sure there was no such thing as too many helpful buddies.
"I don't need no stinkin' head start. I'm no wimp." She displayed her muscles by holding both of her arms up. "Don't go easy on me either." He was nice and most likely trying to be a gentleman, but AJ was competitive and she wanted to see how she would fare compared to him. "You game?" To race the right way she meant.
Cris stifled a laugh at AJ's display of outright indignance at his proposal of a head start for her. He should have known that being the typical lion she was, she wasn't going to accept that. He grinned when she flexed her arms to show how strong she was. Definitely feisty too.
Shrugging his shoulders, he nodded,"Sure. That's fine with me. No handicap at all," he agreed looking down at her. Yes he was still going to give her a handicap, she was just not going to know about it.
"May I suggest you warm up first. You don't want to muscles to cramp up, most especially in this cold," Cris suggested to AJ. The last thing he wanted to do was to explain to the Healer why a 17 year old boy was racing with a 11 year old girl.
Yay! He had accepted, and that meant that she was actually going to be able to see if she could win without anybody holding back on her. "Cool." The first year suddenly wished that she had worn sweats herself. Of course she had ran plenty of times in jeans before, so she could do it again.
"Good idea. I think I'll get on that now." AJ went straight to work. She would flex her right leg while touching the floor with her hands. Then she would switch legs, and do the same thing. AJ also took turns stretching her arms over her head.
"All set. Ready to lose?" Her competitive nature was back in full force.
