The brilliant colors of the sunset have been painted over by the mystical navy blue of the night sky and as you enter the Astronomy classroom you can see the moon clearly through one of the many windows. The desks are arranged in their usual semi circle to help created a more personal environment, only something seems a bit off as you go to sit down. Both the desk and chair wobble as the legs on one side are longer than the other and cause you to lean quite a bit. Try not to fall out of your seat or have your things fall to the floor, yes?
Did you remember to use the lint roller on the small table outside of the classroom? It was there next to the sign that reads, "Not to be used as a brush for your hair."
A lamp, a quaffle, and 3 can lids painted black rest in the middle of the professor's desk. Professor Flamsteed, wearing the same top hat you may have spotted him with at the Opening Feast, can be seen standing to the right of his desk with a giddy expression on his face and offers you a salute as you move to take your seat.
So come on in and have a seat. Class will begin shortly.

Oh. They were done?
Dima gathered his things up, approaching the professor after he was done. "Cuckoo Warning Day is like a predictor for summer rain. If a cuckoo sings on 21st of June, the rest of the summer's supposed to be real wet, and if not, then it's dry!" Yeah!
And look, he'd taught Professor Top Hat something new! He was welcome.

Nodding, she sent both the Professor and Kace a smile. "Thanks for the awesome lesson. I hope you have a good night, Professor. And I hope you feel better soon, Kace." Yeah, she still blamed herself for him getting hurt.
Maybe she could give Kace some Chocolate Frogs later, she thought as she grabbed her stuff and exited the classroom.

"That was one crazy but very interesting game, Professor. Putting things into practical terms, definitely does help explain the lesson more clearly. Thanks for doing that. I hope the rest of your day will be a good one," Cris smiled at the Professor before stepping aside and waiting for Jasmine to catch up with him.

Awww, that was the end of the class. Leah picked up her back and walked towards the door. They still had homework to expect and keep them busy. As she reached Professor Flamsteed, she paused and said, "That was a great lesson, Professor. You are really good at rolling." she nodded. The second year was very impressed at the professor's ability to... roll. She smiled and exited.

"Awesome lesson, Professor!'' he said. "See you next time.'' Adi waved and headed for the door. Eh...Maybe he should wait on Benny? Yes, he should.

She just stopped and stood still, maybe this would wear off? As her eyes gradually adjusted to the dark, she slowly realized that this grass thing really wasn't wearing off. Suddenly, she heard some loud yelling in Flamsteed's voice, but couldn't quite make out what he was saying. The next thing she knew, the ball of grass was gone and her eyes were forced to make a fast adjustment. "Agh! she said in surprise as she covered her watering eyes with her hands.
When she was finally able to see again, she put up her head and looked about. It seemed like class was over. Already? She sighed unhappily and moved over to where she had left her messenger bag.
"Well, I guess I'll be off Professor," she said giving Flamsteed a cheery wave. "Thanks!" she moved out the door to clear the way for other exiting students, but leaned against the wall outside to wait for Adrienne.

Freed from her planet costume, Kate grabbed her bag and headed to the door. Oh! She'd forgotten to say thank you! Spinning around, Kate stepped out of the way of all the people leaving and waved to the professor. "Thanks for a great class, Professor!" she said before leaving for real.

As Mari herself was odd, she thought it pleasant. If everyone were the same it would get dull. Pizzaz was the word for the professor. It certainly was something he had a lot of in his student's mind.
"See you later, Professor," Marisol said as she exited.

As Zander made a beeline towards the door, which was much easier now that he wasn't restrained by the ridiculous costume, he turned around to shout a quick "goodbye Professor!" He really need a nice shower after all that snow, rain, wind, pollen, the works, just etc.
Grinning, beaming, and waving as each student said their good byes and good nights, the professor replied with a cheerful, "Thank you. Hope to see you next time."
He promised that next lesson would not be as much of a contact sport. Probably. Eh, maybe not.

You know what Cuckoo Warning Day sounded like? Just that. Cuckoo. Relying on a bird to predict summer rain. Merlin help him. He simply raised an eyebrow at the Ravenclaw. An unamused one, mind you.
"Riiiiiiiight, well...I hope you can elaborate on why a bird chirping on June 21st is significant on your homework," he sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. Sounded like something the new Divination professor would be keen on because really, unless this bird literally starting singing 'Singing in the Rain' he failed to see how this was anything special.
It was a bird. They were always chirping.

It was nice Lux was caring about him. He smiled and told her he was fine. "Sorry Professor...i wanted to finish the assignment." he grinned sheepishly but that hurt his nose.
"Thanks Lux.." he told her trying to stop the flow. "But i think i could use the help to walk back to the common room afterwards.." he told her. So she could stay and he wouldn't have to walk back alone. He asked the professor, "Does my face look bad or have black and blue marks on it?"
Wanted to finish the assignment? Sweet solstice.
"You wanted to help stop your nose bleed by running more which in turn made your heart pump faster which causes blood flow to speed up through your body." Right. Made perfect logical sense. He squinted a bit more at the Hufflepuff and was tempted to just work some magic on the boy's nose - he had done toes before and fingers - but best to leave such examination and treatment to the professionals. "I'll be taking you to the hospital wing, Mr. Lecium, just to be sure it is not broken."
Waiting with one hand on the Hufflepuff's shoulder, Airey waited until the last student had packed up and left the classroom. "Alright, let's go see Healer Tillstorm," he sighed as he escorted the boy out and shut the door behind him.
