She was getting distracted. >.< "Sorry. I just...I'll chant now." Drowning the urge to fan her face with her hand, Beverly squeezed her fist around the Isa rune stone. Lets go! "Isa isa isa...i i i i i i i i i...i i i i i i s s s s s s...(s s s s s s i i i i i i)...i i i i i i i i i." |

But yeah! She was chanting. He listened to the galdr a bit, trying to get it in his mind along with the incantation, hold them both together so to speak. He was going to go with the most common disillusionment spell, disillusiona as opposed to disillusio. He focused on Beverly... figuring why not cast on her since she was the one saying the galdr. "Disillusiona!" He tapped her on the head with his wand, knowing from experience that it felt oddly like a raw egg being broken over you when it worked. So now to see if it worked better or anything.... |
Post #3 Text Cut: West She's...she's what? Beverly waited for West to continue, but apparently not. It was all right, though, she could finish it off in her head. Anyway...magic was happening. Expectant eyes on West she watched his every movement, yet, it still didn't prepare her for what happened next... O______________________O She flinched and her chant cut off abruptly. Her head cracked. Or something cracked on it. He'd better not have broken her skull or she'd have strong words for him. Ohhh...he cast on her. Blink. Blink. Blink. Glancing down at herself Beverly grinned. Steadily she blended in with her surroundings. IT WORKED. Did West Odessa see THIS? She was invisible--of course, he couldn't see her. Suddenly feeling sneaky as a mouse and a little brave, Beverly quietly tip-toed around him and tapped him on the back of his shoulder. Hi. It worked! Now...could he tell if it worked better than a normally cast Disillusionment Charm? |
Post #2 SPOILER!!: BOYFRIEND The third year lioness got on her tippy toes again to attempt at getting a good look to see if KAce was anywhere to be seen. She wouldn't mind who she got as a partner for the activity but she really wanted Kace to be her partner for this. Then there he was, her boyfriend! Emmylou smiled brightly was she saw him. He was pretty. Could guys be pretty? Because Kace was pretty and she liked pretty things. "Nah, I'm just waiting for someone else to be my partner." Emmylou tried to say in all seriousness and waited a minute or two to see Kace's reaction before saying. "I would love to be your partner!" Emmylou grinned. |

Now we do the Isa chant everyone else is doing. He nodded and did that too. "Alright let's do the Isa chant....it is like this....Isa Isa Isa...iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...iiiiiisssss...ssssiiii... iiiiii." He licked his lips a little bit because it was a mouthful. "Sounds like I am speaking a different language huh? Like being a snake?" he smiled towards his girlfriend. "Your turn to chant.." he encouraged her. |

"I can't even hear you breathing... or your footsteps or anything. Normally that stuff gives things away..." Where was she exa...he squinted, seeing a slight edge of light. Reaching out he touched her... somewhere. Shoulder. Face. Head. who knew really? "There's a slight... outline sort of. Like... of light. The light is different when you move... but if you're perfectly still... my eyes just sorta... slide past it." If it was any other professor, he'd suggest she went up and gave them a fright, but it was Botros, and West did NOT want his favourite professor to have a heart attack. |
SPOILER!!: Team Holdair!! The Gryffindor beamed at his best Slytherin friend. The really did make a pretty good team. First the CoMC combined charms lesson and now this. It was pretty great having a friend he could team up with like Simon. He was quickly drawn out of his thoughts by Simon's question. "Erm, I reckon we just wait for more instructions now?" He looked over to their seats and started walking back over. "You wanna sit in the mean time?" He didn't even wait for a response. Instead, he pulled out a chair for Simon and then took a seat himself. And now. They wait. |
post 5 Then Lucy said:"Finite!" The shield disappeared.. Lucy was happy:"I have done it!"...she said. |
Post #4 Text Cut: West Beverly's eyes crossed when he touched her nose. Covering her mouth she stifled a giggle. This Wayne didn't giggle at a nose-poke...even if she was invisible and this was West Odessa and he probably hadn't meant it. "That was my nose," she informed after dropping her hand. Just so he knew. Hanging on his every word she made sure to store it away and remember this piece of information. "So Isa did improve it," she said, waving her arm to see if he'd catch that too. "May I try it on you? I won't zap you or anything. I'm quite talented when it comes to charms and..." Was she rambling? It felt like she was, but Beverly was simply letting him know she wouldn't blow him up. Looking out for a housemate, y'know? |

... and at least it was her nose and not... something else. That could be awkward. "It seems like it did. And yeah.. sure. I trust you." He cast finite on her to end the disillusionment. "When you cast on something or someone else its just a tap and then disillusiona... its different if you cast on yourself though." |

As soon as he was completely disillusioned, he stepped towards Lux and waved. Can she see him? He then walked and stood behind her and tapped her shoulder. |
Botros stayed in his spot by the desk, watching the students partner up and chant along to the Isa galdr. He'd move his lips and chant with them for a short period of time, and would scan the room again for anyone who wanted help or a partner. His old eyes couldn’t detect from all the sparks and the spells flying in the classroom, though. ooc: - Class is dismissed! Thank you everyone for playing with me :3 - Thread will stay open to RP your characters leave and say their goodbyes. |
Class was over. Aww, thought Simon. He began to pack up his book bag and then turned around to grin at Zander. He felt his tummy grumble. Food would be good right now. Maybe Zander would want to join him at the Kitchens? "You want to go grab some food?" he asked as he finished putting his last notebook in the bag. After doing so, he walked up to Botros. "Thanks Professor Botros! Have a good day. Stay warm," he said grinning from ear to ear at the tall elderly Professor. |
Oh no. Class was over and they hadn't even finished practicing. Lux pouted but then had to laugh as someone invisible tapped her shoulder. That had to be Ethan. "Awesome!" At least it had worked even if they had ran out of time. Raising her wand, she disillusioned him so that he could get ready and leave without being invisible. "It was great working with you, Ethan!" Smiling at the boy she went back over to her desk so that she could pack her things up. Once everything was away, Lux made her way over to the door. "Bye, Professor Botros. Thanks for the lesson and have a great day!" [ |
SPOILER!!: SUPAH Simon Oh, they were done? Welp, that didn't take too long. Actually it did take kind of long. There was just a whole lot that Zander didn't really pick up, but working with Simon was a lot of fun so at least that was a plus. Speaking of his mate, he smiled back at the boy. Food!? YES PLEASE. Who knew Runes could make a boy so hungry!? Actually... Just about everything made this boy hungry. Right then. "I think that sounds like an AMAZING idea, mate!" The happy third year finished packing the rest of his things, before running after the Slytherin. "Bye, Professor!" Man. That guy was old. |
Text Cut: West At the word trust Beverly squirmed a bit. It was a heavy word. He probably hadn't meant it like that, but she couldn't help think of the literal meaning. Pushing that thought away, she simply nodded and drew her wand. He probably couldn't see that nod. Oh well. And she was visible again. Boo. The feeling of being places without anyone knowing was thrilling. Beverly was ready to tap her wand on his head when she paused. "How's it different if you cast on your--" Huh? Nuuuuuu! The lesson was OVER? She didn't want it over, not yet. She was learning and she was about to cast the Disillusionment Charm on West Odessa and...fudge. "Lessons over," she mumbled sadly. Welp. "Thanks for working with me, though. I had fun." |
Class was over? It was a good thing Adi and Benny had completed the activity then. Adi eyed the spot where the multicoloured sparks had disappeared one last time. Again- that had been cool! "Let's go, Benny.'' Adi hurried over to collect his possessions. "See you around, Professor.'' Assuming Benny was right with him, the third year exited the classroom. |
