Looking for somewhere to visit with your valentine? Well there’s no better place than the Tunnel of Love. Situated right underneath a wooden structure built by your student leaders and covered in red and pink flowers, your gondola is charmed to float along a lazy stream of water flowing along the length of the great hall. Soft music plays overhead and large streams of light break through the cloak of flowers covering the tunnel in different spots, ensuring that your student leaders can keep an eye on things.
Caution to those looking to snog their significant others: While cuddling is encouraged, your gondolas have been charmed to squirt water at those in need of a cool down. So jump in a boat, get comfortable, and enjoy the ride. It’s sure to be magical.

Hopefully he would not freak out in the boats because of his fear; she did not want him to have a bad time of things. "Yeah, this will be great..." Smiling, she put her hand in his. It was really pretty here, and she was really happy to be here with Bay. She leaned in and kissed his cheek, hoping that it would help him feel less awkward. |

It was especially feasible for now since it was still in Italy and all.

It was made of thin hemp tied in square knots, with two small stones spaced evenly apart in the middle. Two stones for the two of them.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH.....oh.
Deceitful. So deceitful. Olly doubted that people knew this about Schuyler. About what a BAD PERSON she was for making her believe that she was in for kisses while in reality she wasn't. She was EVIL. Olly was still grinning, though. Because Schuyler. Because Schuyler in a pretty dress.
"Later then..." Yes. There was NO way they wouldn't get squirted with water during this ride. Just FYI.
Once Schuyler started telling her about the actual gift though, Olly's expression turned serious. That was...just...yes, wow. She was feeling slightly overwhelmed with emotions right now. "I like Egypt." She said stupidly when the other girl pointed out that she didn't look very Egyptian. Honestly, she wasn't really paying attention to what she was saying.
Olly blinked a couple of times and shook her head slightly. Focus, Olivia!
"......thank you." She stared down at the anklet in Schuyler's hand. Still, not really moving any other part of her body, Olly finally lifted her head a little to look at her girlfriend. "Thank you." | |

She grinned back at her. "Of course." Really, they were only going to be doing the other students a service by determining whether those water-squirting rumors were true. Very noble of them to sacrifice themselves. Very noble indeed.
But to be honest, one of the main reasons Schuyler did coax Olly to come onto this boat with her was so that she could give her the anklet. Privately. She turned it over in her hand. "The little stones are from a creek, you know. Much prettier than store-bought beads.." Or maybe just more genuine. And more Olly. She looked to the other girl's face and searched her eyes for a read on how she liked it. There were times when Schuyler knew precisely what her girlfriend was thinking, and there were times when she hadn't the slightest idea.
It was the latter in this case.
But Schuyler also didn't really wait long enough to find out because when she'd gotten the 'thank you,' she just smiled and slipped off of her seat to kneel down with the anklet. She looked up at her. "I can put it on you now, if you want?" It showed, the way she was proud of having made the piece of jewelry. "Right or left leg?"

Once her girlfriend started talking about the piece of jewelry, Olly's eyes came to rest on Schuyler's face. She wasn't really paying attention to what the other girl was saying but was still going over the little story about Egyptian women in her head. That was just...so real. It was just... "I made you a flower." Okay, now THAT was neither the right terminology nor was it a grammatically correct sentence. Olly shook her head slightly, frowning to herself. Focus. Seriously. What was happening? Was it the aging thing? "I mean, growing. I've been growing a flower for you." In a pot.
And why was Schuyler on the floor?
Oh. "Yes." Olly stretched out her legs slightly before angling them towards Schuyler. Now, which side? "Right." She nudged the Gryffindor with her right foot, grinning slightly. It was very strange to have her girlfriend on the floor there. In a boat. Surrounded by pinkness. And romantic music. | |

Still no read on Olly. But Schuyler told herself that the neutral expression was only due to Olly being attentive. Creek stones and stories of Egypt. Schuyler was doing a lot of talking, that was it. So it was probably good that the other girl spoke up next.
Made her a flower..?
Her eyebrows dropped curiously and she parted her lips to ask what she had made it out of when Olly edited her words. Growing, aah. Yes, that made more sense. A smile curved on her face and reached her eyes. "What kind of flower is it?" This held some significance. Saying that it was actually a cactus wouldn't go over so well.
Now she was kneeled on the floor of the gondola, though. Right leg it is. She lowered her head and moved to wrap the anklet around Olly's right ankle, only pausing for a moment to push some hair behind her ear. It got in the way sometimes. With a final tug on the knot, she smiled at her handy work and then up at her girlfriend. "Ta da." She shifted back up to her seat again and absently brushed off her knees. "Looks pretty good if I do say so myself."
