On the very edge of the forest is a massive tree that houses a wooden fort high up in its branches. A rope ladder hangs down from the lowest level for easy access.
From the Outside it looks to be small. Big enough to fit only four. maybe five at time. but once you come in through the latched door you'll find that the inside has been expanded. Wooden Benches stretch across the perimeter of the the indoors, each with a window you can open up to let the light filter in. Tables are placed at random around the inside, with small stools placed around each of them, just in case you wanted one more place to do all the Homework your Professor's are gonna pile up on you.
Oh is that a Shuffleboard Court painted into the floor, off to the side!!?? Yes it is! Use the Shuffleboard sticks, and pucks ONLY FOR SHUFFLEBOARD!
Just above you is a balcony that will overlook the rest of the inside. Two small couches sit up here for you to lounge, chit-chat, and NOT SNOG your significant other on.
Any damage caught being done to the Tree House will result in serious Consequence. Don't mess with Mr.Kirby.
Huffing and gasping she made her way to the tree house. She was beyond exhausted and in fact she needed a nap.
"Holy Merlin, I feel old!" Silver whined.
Time to make it up the tree house. Challenge accepted! However maybe she shouldn't have worn heeled boots.
"Oh for the life of me." Silver struggled climbing the tree.
Once finally reaching the top she unlaced her boots and took them off, walking in plain socks.
"Hi Bevy." She lazily waved at Beverly.
"It's Beverly Wayne," she grumbled. Just FYI, Fluffy. That nickname irked her, yet she didn't have in her to argue endlessly about it.
Lying on the floor wasn't the most comfortable position ever, but it was better than sitting on a stool where she'd have to support her on back. Besides, her thick coat made for some cushioning. Turning her head to the side, toward Silver, Beverly cocked an eyebrow at her friend's choice of shoes. How could she walk in those? Glancing at her own boots, she wiggled her feet. Nice, warm and soft, that's what she was talking about.
"I brought this for you." She tossed the Gryffindor a small parcel; a box the size of her hand with a pink ribbon. Silver liked pink. "They're cookies. You better eat them. I burned myself while making them."

Not really. Just an incentive. Heh.
"I know. I know." Yeah. Yeah, whatever. Too tired.
Silver took a spot next to Beverly, time to relax.
Oooh a presy!!!
Every time Silver coughed it was like her bones were tearing apart. But Beverly totally made her day better!
"Awwww, Beverly!" There full name, happy now? "You are so nice!" Tear. Silver's lip quivered as a couple tears brewed in her eyes. Dramatic much? Yup. Typical Silver Barry.
Oh Tin-Man you do have a heart!
Silver removed the pink ribbon and tied it around her wrist like a bracelet. "You're the first real friend I've ever had!" Wibble. Wibble.
She took a bite out of the cookie and my goodness was it delicious!

Josette had to think about it for a moment before she said with a small smile, "I..Really like Ancient Runes.." She bit her lip, "It's really..fun.." Josette then suddenly gasped getting excited, "OH, & the Professor is really nice too!" She cleared her throat and then began to nervously play with her hair feeling like she spoke too much. Would her father be angry with her for speaking to strangers like this? Let alone more than once? She didn't know.
"Ancient Runes, eh? Yeah, it's quite an interesting class for sure." he commented with a nod. He enjoyed it as well but not as much as potions. That class was so fun to him. He chuckled at her sudden burst of excitement. The second year nodded in agreement. The professor was indeed really nice. "Yeah, the professor is definitely really nice!" he said. "So, what do you like most about that class?" he then asked curiously, cocking his head to the side slightly.

Staaaaaaaaaaare.
Okay? Just like that. No bubbly response? Odd considering Silver was so bright and bouncy. Was she getting old too? Ergh! Not her friend. Why Merlin, WHY?
Now she wasn't sure if she wanted Silver to call her by her full name. It wasn't Silver. At least the Gryffindor had been touched by her present. INNER CACKLE. If only her friend knew what was in those cookies. Heh. Heh. Heeeh.
What? Nooo! She wasn't supposed to cry and call her 'the first real friend' because she was Beverly's first real friend too and... SUDDEN URGE TO CRY, WHY? Blinking quickly, the third year shrugged like it was no big deal. "Thanks...you're cool too. Anyway, they're chocolate chip." With a hint of a charm.
Beverly had been precise about her charming and daydreams. It consisted of three visions. The first, of course her favorite one, was where she stood on a hill near her home, Wayne Manor. All of a sudden a dragon swoops down below and whines at her to ride him. For most rational wizards that would be a sign to get the hell out of there and hope to live. Evidently not this witch.
With eager eyes, the Snake watched her friend. How was she going to react to a dragon chasing her around?

"Romena is kinda cute." Theo thought. He grinned, though, because he totally agreed. "Three days is a bit fast, yeah." Good job their marriage didn't last long because they would probably get sick of each other after so long. It took time to find THE ONE. Theo was a firm believer of that. "I did not know that." The information wasn't particularly exciting but hey ho, you learn something new every day, right?!
"Me too." Theo nodded. His brother was a jerk and they weren't close at all, but still, Theo was rather dependent on him. Maybe it was a twin thing. "Wanna grab lunch later?" With him, that is. "I mean, if you've got plans then don't worry. Just thought... since you're hungry..." What a MESS that came out as. Theo sighed and continued to look at the sky.
He smiled. "Good. Cool. Ready for the match?"
'Cause he wasn't so much.
Cute..? "Eh... maybe." She wasn't really a fan of the name for some reason. "It's a bit... too fairytale." Maybe she was being a hypocrite there... Derryth wasn't exactly one of your bog standard ordinary names. But that wasn't the point... Derry Ferrier wasn't a fairy tale. Even if she lived her life in them sometimes... but Romena sounded like one. "It's just a bit stupid if you ask me, and Juliet was only thirteen." Mhmm, too young to even care, let alone decide she was in love with someone... in Derry's opinion anyway.
Yeah... sibling stuff. Derry could totally join in with that now and everything. "I just want his first word to be Derry." For reasons. Sister stuff. Though realistically it wasn't exactly easy... in comparison to mama and dada and stuff. But that wasn't the point. Lunch? "Sure, I don't have plans." she said with a smile. Theo seemed off today... but maybe she was reading him wrong. She tended to do that with people. Anyway... what was he looking it. Derry followed his gaze up to the clouds... huh. Interesting. ... well... not really. They were just clouds...
"Not really.." Derry admitted, lying back on the balcony so she could look at the sky easier. "Never won anything as seeker, y'ken? I guess after last term... just wondering if I ever will." It did mean she was prepared to push herself to the limits to win this term though, because she just had to try as hard as she could... they had to win stuff.

With eager eyes, the Snake watched her friend. How was she going to react to a dragon chasing her around?
Silver felt strange. But not like she was getting sick or dying kind of strange. It was different.
Blink. Blink.
"Woah. Woah. Woah!" What the heck was going on? "Is that--" Silver tried crawling her way, away from the dragon. "Beverly! Run!" She tried swatting the dragon away. "Bevy!" Silver was going to crawl to victory! Or safety. Either one was fine.
Pretty much to everyone who was watching the young Gryffindor, she was crawling around the Tree house waving her hand in the air in swatting motion, while moving towards the exit.

Woah! WOAH.
Clearly Beverly had not thought Silver's reaction through. It was evident by the lioness' reaction that she was in phase one and... she wanted to save Beverly! How cute was that? And she didn't use the word cute often.
"Your Gryffindor is showing," she said, well knowing her friend wouldn't hear her. She decided to see it through and not interfere as Silver swatted at nothing. It was great observation until...
Catalonian Fireballs!
Silver was crawling toward the exit. "No! Come back!" Beverly wailed. This wasn't good. Crawling and wincing as she hurried toward Silver, Beverly tackled her away from the exit. That would have been a nasty fall.
Breathing heavily she waited for Silver to react. Hopefully phase two would be nicer for her. If Beverly did it right, the Gryffindor should see another day dream. This one took place in the skies, riding an Aethonan. She hoped for Silver's sake she wasn't afraid of heights.
Beverly day dreamed flying because in real life she was afraid of it. It day dreams she was safe, in reality, you never know.

Suddenly she stopped! Why? Okay well at least she wasn't getting chased and nearly mangled by the dragon.
Now something new was happening?!! She was FLYING! On a Aethonan. Okay. Okay this was--this was FUN!
Extending her arms outs pretty much recreating the "Jack Dawson" scene from the muggle hit movie Titanic. "I'm the queen of the woooooorld!" She cheered, feeling the breeze between her fingers.
In reality she had rolled over and crawled over Beverly as if the young snake was the winged horse, whilst extending her arms out.
Clearly this young girl wasn't afraid of heights. Heck she enjoyed riding roller coasters back in New York.
"He's got the little bitty baby in his hands, he's got the little bitty baby in his hands. He's got the little bitty baby in his hands, he's got the whole world in his hands. He's got the whole world in his hands." Silver sang at the top of her lungs, pointing at Aethonan like he was boss!
She was living the life. Well ya' know--while actually pointing at Beverly and hopefully Silver did not cause any ear damage, with her loud singing.

What the--OOMPH!
Beverly groaned as Silver rolled over on top of her. She was smaller than the Gryffindor, so, of course, it hurt her back when her friend decided she was the Aethonan. "Sil--gettaoffme!" she yelled, while flailing her legs and arms.
She couldn't breeeeathe!
To make matters worse, Silver started to sing really loud, too. She should have let her plummet down the tree. She totally should have. Wiggling under the lioness, Beverly managed to crawl out from beneath her, and shoved her singing friend away. Okay, this totally backfired on her. She glared at Silver while rubbing her stomach. That hurt, Fluffy! It hurt! Even if she had voiced that Beverly wasn't sure if Silver would have heard her. She was mostly likely transitioning to the third and last daydream.
Beverly had been specific about this one. Silver wanted her to be more open with her, right? Then here it was. Something she couldn't quite voice without chocking on words. At first the thought of sharing this made her nervous, but now, after coming to the conclusion that her fast aging was leading to an end, she came to terms that she could trust Silver.
The curly haired girl would be taken to the front lawn of the Wayne Manor. There would be a grey and green checkered blanket spread out with a basket and snacks on it. A picnic. Her dad was there, so was her brother and they were talking and laughing, getting along - something that never happened, but in her dreams it did - and serving food was her mom. Identical Kaleidoscope-like eyes like Beverly's smiled at her.
It was a happy family. That was her last daydream. She waited to see Silver's reaction...

Silver didn't really know exactly what was going on. This whole feeling exhausted thing was awful.
New scene. Huh. They kept changing. This one however was more peaceful and sweet.
"Hello." She waved at what must be the Wayne family, who were having a picnic. Wow. The woman who probably was Beverly's mother, was so beautiful! Beverly was like her mini-me.
Smiling she took a seat on the picnic blanket, she didn't wait for the invitation. In reality Silver was sitting down near the exit smiling at her surroundings. Reaching hers arms out as if she were grabbing the snacks.

GROAN. Not again!
Feeling panicky that Silver was heading toward the exit again, Beverly stood up quickly, ignoring her aching joints. She was relieved to see Silver sit just a few inches from the door. Still, she approached her and took her arm, then threw her wand out.
"Finite," she said softly, then tugged Silver away from the exit. It warmed her up that Silver was willing to interact with her family. Grinning slightly she saw down and leaned against a wall.
"So..?" she inquired, "do you hate me for spiking your cookies?" Beverly was ready to hear it.

Excitedly, Lux made her way up the latter of the tree house. It had been a while since she had last come to this place with Lucas, and in that time she had kissed four boys. Life could be crazy like that.
Coming up to the top of the tree house, she leaned against the railing and looked out at the grounds. Louis and Kace were nowhere to be expected, and she was not sure how it would be to see Louis again after she had kissed Bay. It could be really awkward, and she hoped there would be no blushing on her part. At least he had promised not to tease her.
As a Squire, it was his duty to keep a promise to his Lady.

Kace ran into Lux and Louis while he was exploring and they made plans to go to the tree house. He was excited to do this with his new friends. He thought Lux and Louis were pretty cool. Plus Emmy knew Lux and he wanted to make a good impression with her.
As he made his way to the tree house, he noticed Lux. He put his hands over his mouth and called out loudly, "HEY LUX!!!" since she seemed to be way at the top of the tree house.

Louis arrived only a few moments later, smiling brightly at the sight of his little redheaded friend already there. "Lady Lux!" He walks toward her and greets the girl with a formal bow, as had become tradition.
"Is Kace here already?" he asked, looking around for the younger Hufflepuff. That's when he heard a VERY loud 'HEY LUX!!!' Nearly jumping, Louis turned around and laughed at the sight of Kace still a few steps down. "What're you doing down there, mate?"

He smiled and noticed Louis made his way here already. "Oh you know just chilling, i like being low to the ground. You get more leverage if you stay to the ground." he winked and started climbing to join them. "Hope i didn't scare you too much." he smirked. "I saw you jump from fright." he playfully punched his new friend.

Louis laughed aloud when Kace pointed out his earlier fright - gee, some lion he was. "You saw that, huh?" he chuckled, running a hand through his hair awkwardly. "I was just, uh... practicing a new dance," he added jokingly, well aware that not even a five-year-old would buy that excuse.

Yaaay! Louis and Kace were here! "Hello, boys." Giving a curtsy, she smiled at them. "Isn't it a lovely day outside?" Even though it was rather cold, there were no clouds in the sky and not too much snow on the ground. It was really nice for February. "So do you want to play a game or something?" She remembered how she had fun with Charlie the first time she had come up here. Lux missed Charlie and wanted to see her again.

"Why hello mademoiselle..." Kace replied giving her a bow playing along. "It is a nice day out. I find it quite warm outside compared to the 10 below temperatures we have been dealing with." Yeah Kace wasn't a huge fan of really really cold weather. But he was born in December. He was a winter baby, you think he would be used to it? Nope not at all.
Then she suggested they play a game? "Psshh of course! I love games! Which game are you thinking of?" he asked her.

If Elodie wasn't doing her own school work, or working on something for someones birthday, she was organising her class notes and writing them up neat and colour coded for Coul to use them for his exam prep. Because she was a good girlfriend. And that was what she was doing now. Using her coloured pens to label specifically her last week of classes into exam prep appropriate forms. Along with the cute little doodles in the corners and the love hearts on some pages.
Was it clear enough that she was becoming THAT girlfriend after conversations and after hours dinner dates on Valentines and maps and colouring books and ugh. She was becoming the girlfriend she'd always thought was stupid. And she didn't care who knew. Elodie Robertser was beyond in love with her boyfriend and it was crazy.

CRAZY.
After multiple castings of Reparo, Charlies copy of Romeo and Juliet was basically as good as new. Except for still being dog-eared, or rather, cat-eared, and containing multiple missing pages. Maybe she's just get another one during the summer. Even though she loved this copy, so much, it was... practically unreadable.
SIGH.
She closed the book as she approached the tree house, and put it away in her bag, before climbing the ladder and looking around. She really wasn't in the mood to do work, even though she knew she should, and spotting a very familiar head down doing some, it just made her feel more guilty.
Ugh. Exams sucked. "Els," Charlie greeted with a grin, tucking her hair behind her ear and flopping down next to her.

Lifting her head from the pages, Elodie smiled and gave her friend a little nudge, before resting her ink set beside her and pulling her legs up to fold them and not hang them over the edge. "Choo."Long Short time no see, stranger!
She closed up the notepad, after deciding not to put the notes on parchment so that she could thread them together in a neater manner, and then put it with her inks. "You have no textbooks, nor are you walking around with your face shoved so far in Gatsby, I think you might not come back." It was a joke, of course. Because one, was that even possible? And two: why on earth would Charlie not come back when she had such awesomeness to deal with.

Louis nodded his head as Lux commented on the weather, chuckling softly at Kace's response. "It is unusually nicer today. Must be the global warming." Shrug. Whatever the reason was, it was nice to finally see the sun out for a change. It had been completely hidden away behind grey clouds for months now.
Oh? A game?
Lou smiled at the idea. "Sounds good. What did the Lady have in mind?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at Lux.

And two: why on earth would Charlie not come back when she had such awesomeness to deal with.
Like her Robertser.
Smiley smile smileeee at Elodie. Charlie crossed her legs and leaned against her friend slightly, careful not to upset the ink. "You okay?" And how was the boyfie, and V-Day, and EVERYTHING?! She slid her bag from her shoulder and put it next to Elodie's stationary.
"That does sound... well, not like me," Charlie agreed with a laugh. No work, and no book was actually quite out of the ordinary for her. "Speaking of Gatsby, when's our party?" Because, you know, that was still happening, right? It HAD to still happen, because Charlie wanted it to - it would be utterly amazing, even if she did say so herself.
Because, you know, Gatsby was amazing. Duh. She would probably have married F. Scott Fitzgerald on the spot if he'd still been alive, and an appropriate age. SIGH.

Lacking a book, Els had room to link her arm with Charlie's and equally lean against. "I am...wonderful. How are you?" Given they hadn't talked incredible amounts when they'd spent a few hours together on the 14th. Other priorities and all. And...well, they hadn't seen one another a little before that or the small section after it. Actually, Elodie wanted to hear things. Everything. Studying. Life. Had she heard anything parent-wise? Was she even ALLOWED home that summer?!?!
OH PARTY TOPIC. Elodie shrugged her shoulders. "We can discuss with Catty? Maybe throw it after we graduate? Have a graduation and joint 18th birthday party in the summer? We can bring your birthday forward for the sake of it?" Plus it meant they'd have time to plan it ALL out and everything.
And Elodie could spend forever admiring her own legs whilst costuming.

Yeah Kace wasn't a huge fan of really really cold weather. But he was born in December. He was a winter baby, you think he would be used to it? Nope not at all.
Then she suggested they play a game? "Psshh of course! I love games! Which game are you thinking of?" he asked her.

Oh? A game?
Lou smiled at the idea. "Sounds good. What did the Lady have in mind?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at Lux.
Lux found herself laughing as Kace bowed. He was so funny and nice; she really liked him already, and hoped that he would get together with Emmy because they would be a cute couple. "It really is lovely. So maybe we could play hide and seek or tag? Unless... you guys feel a little old for that." They were all growing up now, and she was not sure if it was not appropriate for them to play those games at this age.
