Silver shrugged "I don't follow rules, very often." Grin! It was true.

Work on the nickname? Why Bevy was such a beautiful name, according to Silver.

Aw that's cute! Beverly was actually an over-achiever unlike little Miss Barry.

Taking a seat she listened carefully.

"Okay. So what do you want me to do?" Silver poked the vine.

What is Bevy up to?

"Uh huh....sure you are. Didn't see you climbing up that ladder like you were on fire. You took at least a minute and a half to climb just one," Sander called up even though he knew he was exaggerating.

"Old Man!" Sander sputtered. "I'm nowhere being any older than I was yesterday. The only reason I was slow was because you were holding me up, Slow Poke!" Sander replied and to prove it he quickly began climbing up the rest of the rungs, even though his arms and legs were aching. Nope, he wasn't going to show Tessa that he was winded.

Jumping on the platform of the treehouse, he flexed his bicepss. "See I'm totally all muscle. Feel that." Sander told Tessa as he reached out and placed her hands on both his biceps.

If he wasn't winded then, he was now. The touch of her hands on his arms made him want to pull her closer to him.

Lux squeezed him gently for a moment before letting go again and beaming widely. "Magic hugs are awesome, and can come really handy when you are a Healer!" He had it in him, she knew it. He was smart and he was kind and he gave amazing hugs. A Healer in the making!

Gazing out, Lux leaned forward and touched her forearms to the railing. "You are very right about that, they do say absence makes the heart grow fonder." Lucas really was a very smart boy. Maybe it was true, and she would come back next fall loving Hogwarts more than she did already. When Lucas started to get excited, she laughed. He was absolutely adorable. "Of course we will stay in touch. I would miss you otherwise." He was really fun to talk to, and she would be sad if they lost touch over the summer. "And I would love to come visit you and James. I will see if my friends can make it. Maybe you could also meet my good friend Sander if he wants to come!" She would suggest it to him the next time she saw him.

Could she be more of a Gryffindor? Beverly rolled her eyes and drew her wand out.

"We're..." She stared at Silver, then lightly smacked her hand away with her wand. Hands to yourself, missy. "We're going to test out if I do this transfiguration spell correct."

Hopefully it didn't prove as tough as it had with the boat. She couldn't concentrate then, back at the lake, but she was trying this with her...friend. Honestly, she felt more at ease, but she wouldn't say to Silver. The girl might think she conquered the world.

Moving the vine to the center of the table, she said, "Vinea Funiculus!" and gave it a simple point and tap.

The vine twisted and twitched a little when the transfiguration was done. Beverly had successfully transfigured the vine into a rope. She smiled all proud-like at Silver. "Cool, isn't it?"

Tessa scoffed and looked away. She had climbed the ladder quite slowly- but she wasn't ready to admit it completely. She still didn't know what was wrong with her, or why everything needed to be so slooooow.

"You are, in fact, one day older than you were yesterday," she said with a laugh. "And you are older than me- so, old man," she said with a grin. "SLow poke! You wouldn't say that if I were on a broom," she told him. "I'm..." she stood up from where she was sitting and struck a pose. "Super Tessa!"

"Oh really?" she reached out as he flexed the muscle. His muscles were quite amazing... She glanced up to see Sander watching her and snapped herself out of it. "So," she said with a grin. "We made it!" She walked to the ledge and looked out over the forest. It was such a wonderful view.

Now that he was no longer climbing and finally at the tree house, Sander's grumpiness disappeared. He laughed when Tessa struck up a like she was Superman....or rather Super girl. He rocked his hand palm downwards and chuckled,"Eeeyyyahhh....okay...maybe....a little..." quickly protecting himself just in case she decided to smack him again.

He joined Tessa at the ledge, slipped an arm around her, just to make sure that she didn't slip and fall over.....and looked out into the clear blue yonder. Tessa was right. The view was amazing. Then he turned to gaze down at Tessa, "I agree. From where I'm standing the view is definitely amazing and beautiful," he smiled down at her.

Pout. Pout. Silver pouted getting tapped by Beverly's wand. She was only kidding, it didn't hurt.

"Okay!" Silver nodded, she was totally up to helping her friend with her spells.

The vine turned into a rope! Score! "You did it!" Silver cheered on her friend's accomplishment.

Lucas smiled happily. "That's my, uh, superpower," he told her with a grin. "Magic calming voice and squishes." He would cure the WORLD with affection.
He leaned his chin on his hand and smiled softly at the tiny air bubbles popping on the surface of the lake. "That's the one," he exclaimed in regards to her reciting the adage. "Next year will be better, more exciting!" And what with Christmas holidays coming up in no time at all, Lucas already felt like time was flying. But this time, this time he was excited to come back. He knew so many more people!
He grinned at her. "YOU'LL MISS ME, HUH?" he teased, brightly. "Well then good! It's settled. You can come visit, we have like this ridiculous guest wing but nobody uses it because our parents have like zero friends but its really nice." YAY. YAY.He beamed. "It's going to be a good Christmas then."

"Big squishy Lucas hugs!" That was an awesome super power, and she wishes that she could have one as cool as that. But Lucas got to give the amazing hugs, and she gave the big Lux hugs. "I can't wait for next year, but I'm not sure if I want to be a teenager." It seemed as if that was a strange time, and she did not ever want to be like Bay and Christmas or Sander and Tessa; they were all mushy with each other, and it was so gross. "I might miss you, I'm not saying for sure I will or not," she teased, sticking her tongue out at him. Of course she would miss him! "It's going to be wonderful, and I will get to spend time with Sander's
and yours!" It made her so happy that she was going to be with her friends.

Now this was the part where the testing came in. With a mischievous glint in her eyes, Beverly picked up the rope and stretched it. Sturdy, for now.

"I know," she said, though she sounded more confident than she had actually felt in the beginning. "Now, I'm going to test if the spell actually did the trick."

She walked behind Silver and draped the rope over her. "If you can break out of it, then I did a terrible job." She tied a knot at Silver's back, and grinned to herself. Going back to stand in her previous spot in front of the Gryffindor, Bev's lips stretched into a minuscule smirk.

"Try freeing yourself." Good luck, Fluffy.

Lucas smiled in response. At twelve, becoming a Healer seemed like a walk in the park. Just a few NEWT level classes and voila, you were treating people for magical maladies.
Teenager? Lucas made a face, realising that he hadn't actually THOUGHT about it, at all. Did the 'teen' after your age really make a difference? "Is it going to change anything?" Although... "Abbi might stop freaking out every time I go near her," he muttered. "Cooties will cease to exist," he added, a little sarcastically. "You know, considering they didn't exist anyway."

Christmas visitor: settled. He grinned at her mocking. "Uh, pretty sure you will. We're best friends, it's LAW you HAVE to miss me." Yup. It said in the RULE BOOK.
"New Years Eve especially is the best, my parents always have like.. this huge party. It's awesome." It was. His cousins came over from wherever his Uncle Leo was living at that point in time and it was always so noisy in the house, which Lucas adored. Lux would love it.

Silver giggled. This was fun! She was so sure her muscle power would totally overthrow the spell.

Nodding she agreed to the terms. Feeling a strong grip around her she began squirming around.

Hehe. Okay your spell worked, Bevy.

"I can't set myself free. Hehe." Nervous giggle.

Silver was freaking out! Was Beverly doing this on purpose? After several tries, still no luck.

"Beverly get this off of me!" Silver squealed. She was somewhat claustrophobic. "AAAAAHHHH!" She kept squealing.

"I can't!" Silver tried wiggling her way out several times. No luck.

Tessa was stretching and was feeling so much better. Gone were the aches and pains and the heavy weight that had seemed to drag her down as she climbed. NOw, at the top of the tree, she felt elated. But, that was her usual feeling when she was at such an altitude.

As they stood together at the ledge, she looked over at him as he slid his arm around her. "You're amazing and beautiful too," she told him with a grin. She wasn't sure how Sander would react to being called beautiful, but the mere thought made her smile.

"So, what shall we do now, since we finally made it?" she asked him, turning and leaning against the railing. She rested her elbows against it, and she remained right next to Sander despite the fact that she had turned around.

Lux giggled at the face that Lucas made. It was weird thinking that she was going to be 13 in June. She was perfectly fine how she was without dating and kissing boys. "I don't know, but if that means that cooties don't exist anymore... I might start dating at some point." Shudder. That was not going to happen. Dating still seemed strange to her. Maybe when she was 13, she would change her opinion on it?

More giggling. "Of course I will miss you. You will miss me too, right?" She sure hoped he was if he was now her best friend. She really liked him and she didn't want him to forget about her. They would definitely be keeping in touch! "I really can't wait to meet your family, Lucas. We are going to have so much fun!"

She shouldn't laugh. It was utterly evil. Her dad would be so proud of her.

Yet, a small laugh escaped her lips. They were alone by the looks of it, so she didn't have to worry about someone watching them and thinking what a horrid person she was. She wasn't. Just curious.

"Alright, alright," she said when Silver lost it. Such a baby for a Gryffindor. "I'm not going to kidnap you." She untied the rope and tossed it on the table.

Sitting down, she clasped her hands on her lap. A good girl, see?

"You need to work on those muscles." Still innocent. Yep.

Lux had SHUDDERED at the thought of dating and Lucas didn't actually know how he felt. What did that even MEAN? What would you have to DO!? "Uhhh.." Cooties DIDNT exist. But he wasn't having this discussion with Lux all over again. "With.. who?" Was there someone Lux was already thinking about? Huh.

He grinned cheekily. "Uh, yeah. Obviously!" Who else was he going to do stuff with? He laughed a little uncomfortably at the thought of Lux meeting his parents. "Uh, yeah. I'm sure they'll like you.. they're kind of really weird though."

Sander chuckled when Tessa called him not only amazing but beautiful as well. "Amazing maybe, but beautiful, somehow I don't think my siblings would agree with you." he smiled down at you.

He kept his arm around her as she turned around to face him. "What do we do now that we finally made it up here? How about yodel? How about sing at the top of our lungs? How about we throw water balloons down at the people below. How about we do this?" Sander suggested as he leaned forward and gently kissed Tessa on the lips before leaning back to grin down at her.

He was tired this was taking forever and he had to work with bookworm. The only good that came out of this entire event was the puffer losing points. So they had the couch done now this chair and they would be finished, but Bart still just stood there not really lifting his side of things yet. See the thing with Bart is somethings just take his attention and he forgets what he's doing and right at that very moment he noticed a bird fly past and he looked out to see what type it was and his mind quickly went from the bird, to flying, to jumping out of the tree again. He wanted to jump out of the tree, it needed to happen especially since there was a cushioning charm.

It wasn't until he heard book boy say something that he even registered he was to be doing stuff. Which meant he did not hear the groundskeepers words at all. "I told you not to bark orders at me." He moved closer to the boy since the chair was smaller and lifted his side. "I can help you get out faster." He gave a smirk towards the puffer like push you to jump. Up and over went the chair and down to the big dude. Making sure it was completely placed on the ground Bart lowered his wand and headed out back down to the grounds keeper.

"Anything else or are we done?" He didn't mind the groundskeeper no he was cool so far, it was book boy he had to get away from. No point and letting his boring rub off on Bart.

Not expecting that question, Lux gave a little shrug as she looked out at the lake. She was wondering where in the great deeps the Giant Squid was lurking, and how she would get him to come to the surface. "I have no one in mind, tt seems that's what teenagers do. But I don't think I want to do that." She made a face. Maybe things would suddenly change when she was 13, and the idea of kissing wouldn't be so repulsive.

Yay, she felt special now! "I will be spending some time with you over the holidays, so we won't miss each other too much." That, and the letters. So everything would be amazing, and no one would be sad. "How are your parents weird?" She raised her brow, curious.

That's just what teenagers DO?

Lucas neither wanted to be a teenager nor did he really care for kissing. It was so weird and personal but like.. who would he WANT to kiss? He didn't say anything though as Lux spoke, thinking about it. Would it REALLY all suddenly change when he turned thirteen? He didn't think another year would make it all that different. Turning twelve hadn't been a huge change. Save for the growth spurt, it was all kind of the same. "Maybe.." But what is Lux got a kissing buddy and didn't have time for him anymore? "But it's quite time-consuming isn't it? That whole.. dating thing." Yeah. Sucks.

This winter break was clearly going to be amazing. He did pout a little at the question about his parents though. "Well.. they're not like creepy or anything. They're quite strict at first but Mum is actually really funny and Dad has these awesome stories about his life. Just don't let them intimidate you. They tend to do that." Uh huh. His mum's glare could freeze water, he was sure of it.

There now the Couch was finally down. Orsino took a look at where it seemed they wanted it placed. By the Shuffleboard Court. AH-HA Smart Kids, that made sense. A good place to relax while watching others go at it in that muggle game."EXCELLENT work you two. Thank you, and I hope that this small bit of Teamwork did you both good." Picking the couch up, Orsino lifted it over his shoulder and carried it the rest of the way to the Shuffleboard Court. "...and Ian-Kid, remember. Let's pay attention to where we point that wand yeah?" Setting it down, Kirby pushed it the rest of the way against the wall. Good spot indeed.

Ian heard Bart's veiled threat and shrugged. I know you were ready to be done just as much as I was. He was nearly to the point that it didn't matter to him what Bart said. Bart was just a kid in the same year as he was who had a different outlook on life. No big deal, right?

Ian watched as the groundskeeper analysed their work and seemed pleased. He then made statements about teamwork and other things before hefting the couch up on his own and moved it to a place he considered just a bit more suitable.

Thank you, sir, Ian began and finished with the words for letting me help. I hope I did it well. Ian also blushed as he was reminded about where to point his wand. He mumbled a quick yes sir.

Tessa laughed and shrugged. "You never know, they may agree," she replied. "Perhaps we'll take a poll amongst our friends? I honestly don't care what they pick though," she said, cupping his cheek with her hand. He was perfect in her eyes.

"All those options sound wonderful," she replied. However, as he kissed her, she held his lips to hers for a second longer before letting him pull away. "I think I liked that option the best," she told him with a grin. "But, since we have that done, shall we explore this tree house a bit more?"

Suddenly, she straightened and darted into the house. "Catch me if you can!"

Josette tried her best not to look very tense as he sat beside her. She quickly nodded in response to him saying softly, "You're welcome.." Josette watch him briefly as he turned his head to look out of the window, but then blushed a little bit when he looked back at her. She quickly looked to the floor, hoping he didn't notice that she had been staring. How was Hogwarts? Josette shrugged a little bit before replying, "I like it here..It's..definitely like something I'd never experienced before.." A small smile appeared as her gaze slowly traveled back to meet his.

Smiling at him, Lux shrugged again. She honestly could not really say much about it since she was not a teenager, nor had she ever kissed someone. It was merely curiosity since it seemed her best friends were all getting in relationships now besides Lucas. "I don't really know all of what people do when they date, so I'm not sure." Clearly there was kissing involved, but she did not know how much, nor what else people who dated did.

Oh. Well then. Lux went mellow as Lucas described his parents. "I am sure that we will get along okay. They can't be that intimidating... right?"
