As usual Transfiguration is one of the first lesson for the day. It was bright and early in the morning, when the air was still quite crisp and cool and dew was still on the grass. The classroom door is wide open and as usual the classroom is spotless and there is the slight smell of a coconut aroma in the air. The desks and chairs are in perfect order and there might even be a slight gleam to them. Yep immaculate. There was a difference though, there were a few plants in the room, actually more than a few in the corners and the professor wasn't in her usual office looking attire. There is also a large pile of wood to the front corner as while as a pile of vines next to it.
You know the routine, come in and take your place at a seat. New comers, if you don't know what to do look and learn.

Breakfast done, Ben had straightened himself up and made sure he had what he needed to for the transfiguration lesson before heading back down to the sixth floor. Tidyness was key, at least by the professor's manner of making sure everyone was presentable or faced her punishment. And the second year wasn't about to deal with that by something so the extra steps were dealt with.
Stepping inside the classroom, he noticed the gathered students as well as the professor already present. "Good morning professor," he greeted quietly before catching sight of the added greenery. Had he missed the notice of it being a joint lesson with Herbology? Caught up, Ben simple picked out a desk off to one side and paused behind it, debating just what they could be learning today.

Another class & another moment of panic for a tiny Josette, who was not at all finding her way around this school very easily. She knew that her class today was going to be for Transfiguration, which was what she was rather curious to learn about. Perhaps she might even like the class?
...
Her smile from a sort of eager curiosity came to a very slow end once she'd entered the classroom. It certainly made Josette very, very nervous suddenly. Why was everyone standing behind their desk instead of just sitting? Her blue eyes glanced towards the Professor & she could swear a chill ran all the way up her spine. Josette felt very fearful of this classroom...and the lady in front. She was so frightened, she didn't even want to approach her. Instead, Josette just made a bee line for the first open available seat she could find, which was sort of towards the back half of the classroom.
Josette was going to sit down once she'd chosen her seat, but judging by everyone else standing...she sort of got the message from the Professor. Placing her things on her desk, she followed suit to everyone else & stood by her desk, very silent. Perhaps, they couldn't sit down until she had said so?

Alex took a moment to inspect her appearance before entering the classroom. Everything appeared to be in order, she hoped. Everyone knew that the Professor disliked untidy children and Alex did NOT want to be on her bad list already. She walked into the classroom and noticed plants, lots of plants. The classroom smelled like......what was that smell? Hawaiian Tropic, that's what it smelled like.
Alex said, "Good morning Professor Bellaire." Then she found an empty seat and stood behind it waiting for further instructions.

Sander entered the Transfiguration classroom and the first thing he noticed was the smell of slight smell of coconut in the air and then the pile of wood in the front corner of the room. The second thing he noticed was how spotless the class was.
Thank goodness he too was a stickler for neatness. He had made sure that his hair had been brushed back...even though a few strands rebelled to be free....that his shirt was neatly tucked in and that his shoes were clean.
The third thing he noticed was that the students were standing next to their chairs instead of sitting in them.
Sander was confused but for now, he needed to get his greeting done with.
Walking up to the Professor, he said, "Good morning, Professor," nodded at her and then walked to the nearest seat available.
To sit or not to sit? Sander decided that he would do the latter. So even though he felt awkward doing it, Sander stood next to his chair and waited like all the others were doing.
Oh look there was his name twin, Alex, standing next to him. Sander wanted to whisper hello to her but didn't know whether that was allowed. So he stayed silent and hoped that she would glance his way.
You would think going to Bellaire's classes for the past 6 terms Nigel would remember to tidy himself up before class. Nope. But he just happened to remember before he entered the room. He made sure he was presentable ans stepped into the class.
"Hello, Professor Bellaire"
By now he did not even have to remember. He took the usually spot next to the seat he had chosen.

Making his way to the class, Jun adjust his backwards cap a bit. He already had a plan for transfiguration class.
Behave.
Keep away from Bellaire.
Do not snooze.
It was pretty simple but he knew it wasn't going to be. It was early and he didn't really like to be up early. He was sure the professors had nothing better to do than make students get up this early and teach for a long time, then assign too much homework. They all needed hobbies. Anyway. Jun walked into the classroom and almost hesitated. Why were there so many plants here? He was sure it was transfiguration class today. "Morning professor," he gave Bellaire a nod and looked around the room. Arching an eyebrow at himself, he kept walking and found a seat. Preferably not too close to the front. Though there were some interesting things up there.

Ah, his favourite class of the day. How perfect that it was his first, he turned the corner and entered being hit first by a sweet but nutty smell. A tropical scent, he thought as he took in the rest of the classroom. He searched around for a minute for a place to sit and decided on, yes, one of the Newell's. He still hadn't had the proper chance to thank Sophie for her help in getting his transfigured before the summer, and though he really had no idea how he did not doubt the certainty of this; Everybody wants something.
The secundo positioned himself near Miss Newell and away from Tempus, for the boy and his hair would undoubtedly be a distraction. He entered in time to catch a little Ravenclaw girl giving away free candy and a be-bearded witch, of whose beard Cutty was quite envious. "Good morning, Professor."

...Plants? Interesting. Or at least, possibly interesting. Maybe this lesson wouldn't be too bad, even if it was too early in the morning to be expecting them to learn stuff. Penelope didn't understand why some professors liked to have their classes so early. It seemed like it would be better to start them a little later when students would be more awake and willing to learn, but maybe that was just her.
"Hello Professor," she greeted the woman as she chose an empty seat in the back to stand by.

Tora practically ran to Transfiguration, it was one of her favorite classes after all. She did pause for a moment just outside the door to adjust her robes and to make sure her tie was straight before striding into the classroom. She gave a courteous nod to Bellaire and a "Hello, Professor, nice break?" along with a quick search for an empty desk to claim. It wasn't hard to find one and after dropping her bag neatly next to her seat, she looked about to become reacquainted with the classroom she had missed over the summer. She remained standing, of course. Ahhh, it was good to be back!

It seemed like classes were starting earlier and earlier, and even though she had walked up the same exact staircases to get to the same exact lessons two years before, it seemed like there were more and more steps she needed to walk up.
She didn't mind walking, at least, she didn't when she was getting something out of it, but surely there had to be another way to reach the sixth floor. Especially when she had to go to class.
Rhodes stopped right outside of the Transfiguration classroom, to make sure the very long trek didn't somehow dirty up her clothes, and once she was certain that it hadn't, because then they would really need a new way to get to class, she made her way inside the room. She gave the Professor a quick look over once inside, to make sure SHE wasn't dirty, and giving her a small smile as a greeting, she made her way over to stand by a desk. Not too far from Michael Toussaint.
So he didn't think she was ignoring him again.

Yaaaawn....!!!
Really...did they have to schedule classes this early in the morning? The class being so early, of course, Gareth thought he was going to be late. It was a real struggle to get himself out of bed. Panicking a bit that he would be late to the first Transfiguration class in his new school, he quickly wore his uniform half asleep. So, he was in a mess with undone Slytherin tie, wrinkled shirt and his cloak hanging off his right shoulder. Who cared anyway? He surely did not.
The boy barely noticed the theme and smell in the class or the professor woman as he sleep walked one of the seats at the back of the class. He had no idea why everyone was standing but who cared? He was too sleepy to care. The moment he sat down, drowsiness took over the Slytherin boy and he leaned his head on the desk and started to snore LOUDLY in his sleep.

Brynn was a little more than slightly anxious for the first Transfiguration lesson of the term. It just seemed like such advanced magic and, being very new at spellwork having only practiced a few simpler spells in her dormroom, she was afraid she'd fail miserably at this class in front of everyone. But she was anxious to learn this advanced kind of magic and she wasn't about to skip class, fearing that tidbit of information would surely get back to her mother. So off to class she went.
The eleven year old poked her head inside, getting a quick assessment of the room, before stepping in fully. There were a lot of people in here.. and they were all standing? Trying not to draw any attention to herself, Brynn chose the first empty seat she could find, which meant it was close to the door. But she remained standing by her chair just like everyone else, figuring that's what she was supposed to do.

ugh. Asher felt terrible. Completely and utterly terrible. Maybe it was because he didn't sleep the night before and didn't get his daily training in this morning. Instead he over slept and also caused him to miss breakfast.
So he stopped by the kitchen before heading to the lesson. He wasn't going to be late for this. He grabbed two apples one for him and one for professor Bellarie. Yeah he wasn't sucking up at all.
He slipped through the open doors if the classroom. "Morning Professor." He grinned and sat one of the apples on her desk. He bit into the other apple and spun around to a seat in the middle of the room. Plopped down and are his apple before class started.

Another early morning class? Kace didn't really approve. But he made it here didn't he? He was interested to see what was in store for transfiguration for today. This was particularly his strongest class but hopefully his wand will be able to preform better than last year.
As he made his way to the class, he noticed the professor was up in the front. "Hi Professor Bellaire! Did you have a good summer?" he asked her as a conversation starter. Once he said his greeting, he stood near the empty chair waiting to see what was going to happen next.
Charlotte slowly walked through the door, still half-asleep, and looked around a bit.
'Why are there so many plants?'
Not that she really had anything against plants but wasn't this transfiguration class, not Herbology? And not only did it smell likes whatever plants that were lying around, it smelled like...coconut too? "Good morning, professor." Although she was very confused at the moment, it was a good morning so far.
She walked to the back of the room, where she loved to sit most, and chose a seat that wasn't right next to anyone. Now, if no one bothered her, she would get through the class and would be able to go back down to her room and go back to sleep.

And his hair? He was going to trust it to keep looking the way it usually did. He had spent a little longer on it than he had ought to earlier on in the day.
Nobody needed to know that.
Once that was done, Alec stepped into the classroom and had a quick look around. ... Clean? That wasn't surprising. What was surprising -- or just different -- were the plants that were dotted around the classroom. And the pile of wood. Should he ask? ... Probably not. Instead, he'll just... greet. Yeah. "Good morning, Professor!" he called, giving her a smile and a small wave. Heading over towards a seat in the middle of the classroom, the boy stood behind it and waited.
... Wait... what was that smell?
Did Bellaire know this was a class and not a greenhouse? As Alice entered the classroom and took a look around, she decided it wasn't likely. Being around this many plants without a Herbologist in sight probably wasn't safe, right? And in case one of them turned out to be rabid and carnivorous, it was probably best to stay near some self-sacrificing Hufflepuff who would keep her from becoming plant chow like one Milton Shacklebolt.
Hmm... Head Boy! Him. She chose him.
Voicing a "Good morning, professor," as she passed Bellaire, the seventh year positioned herself by the seat next to Alec. Hi Summers. Going to keep us from dying today? Brilliant.

Marigold had stopped for a moment outside to straighten her robes and flatten her curly hair. Walking in to the classroom, she was immediately confused. Why were there plants everywhere? Was this the right classroom? She decided it was, because there were so many people, but this was not customary of Transfiguration.
"Hello, professor," she said as she decided to just go with it, so she walked over to a chair a few rows back, around center. That was she could watch and learn, but not be too close just in case. She stood by the chair, as she was used to not sitting by now.

Transfiguration~ This was probably the class that interested her the most, to Robin it seemed the most...magical Although she couldn't speak too soon, it's not like she has had any other classes, she was still getting over the butterflies from breakfast. She walked into the room and gave a little bow to the women who must be the instructor "good morning" she said quietly and smiled. Walking into the room she was struck.
Who would she sit next to if she didn't know anyone? she was about to freak out when she saw a girl who she remembered having a quick chat with in Diagon Alley~ Tora! That was her name!
the girl was standing up and confidence seemed to radiate from her, and Robin was definitely jealous of that. "Hello! Tora right? can I sit next to you? you still owe me a quill writing lesson you know"
She grinned. It seemed that when she talked to Tora she was more outgoing- she wanted to have that confidence too.

Adrienne's brain and body were both in complete agreement- it was way, way too early to have a lesson- and on the first day of school, too. She entered the classroom dragging her feet, her hair messily pulled back into its usual ponytail and her shirt slightly untucked since she'd had to get dressed rather quickly, having only woken up a few minutes before. She nodded at Professor Bellaire, stifling a yawn as she glanced around for a place to sit and not even noticing the plants
She noticed Tora and ambled in her direction, choosing to stand by a desk next to her and another girl who seemed far too excited, given the time. Then again, most of the class looked more cheerful than could be possible in the morning. Adrienne rubbed her eyes and blinked at her friend, taking a deep breath and putting a hand to her mouth to stop another yawn. "Morning," she said, directing the greeting towards both Tora and the younger Gryffindor.
This was Ana's favourite time of day, when it was still chilly, or what passed for chilly in the rest of the world. Either way it put her in a good mood and she entered the transfiguration classroom with a bounce in her step and a song in her heart. That bounce turned slightly more hesitant as she noticed all the plants and wood in the classroom. Was she in the right place? It would be just her luck to walk into the wrong classroom for her first lesson.
However, seeing the other students, and the professor she decided to take her chances that she was in the right place. She probably was anyway. That determined she plastered a determined look on her face, nodded politely to the professor, and put the bounce back into her step as she found an empty seat, and copying everyone else stood behind it. Although she wasn't sure why they weren't just sitting she didn't want to be the odd one out, or break any rules that the professor might have.
Why were people standing by their chairs? Gwen stepped into the room cautiously. Was she in the right place? This was Transfiguration, right? Maybe they were going to transfigure the chairs into something rather than sit in them? Gwen stepped over to a chair at random and stood, like the other students. She dropped her heavy backpack onto the ground by her feet though. That thing was going to break her back.
