Of course she wouldn't understand what it was like. His family was huge so when you've got four uncles, four aunts, your parents and not to mention all your cousins going on and on about his first kiss, well it got rather irritating after a while. Not to mention that his best friend was not talking to him because of it as well.

The pinch to his cheek was rather unexpected and so were her words. Michael wore a bit of a surprised look before he shook his head and laughed. "Yeah I guess." He just wished they would tone down their excitement."Yep dad was a Slytherin and mum was a Hufflepuff." And he was a Gryffindor which was a surprise to everyone.

He lent up against the wall opposite her and pressed his head up against it and stretched his legs out in front of him. He peeked over to her and noticing her smirk,he raised an eyebrow. "Don't push your luck Merivel." He said with a laugh. "I've already bought you an ice cream and now some ice mice." Was she trying to bleed him dry? "Friendship is supposed to be for free, you know?"

Adi snorted with laughter. "Really, Kace. You're hilarious. I can see it now. I'm playing the piano only to be surrounded by a group of starry eyed girls. Maybe I should teach you so you can get them, too.'' He was still laughing a bit at what his friend had said. And soccer..."That would be cool then. You teach me some soccer moves and I'll teach you guitar moves.'' Uhh, guitar moves? Was that even for real?

"I suppose not. Evil looking things.'' Adi liked animals and stuff like that but you had to admit there were scary creatures too. And you couldn't get into a career with fears of creatures lurking over your head. ''Well then! We should plan something for one of the summer holidays. I really want to go snorkeling.'' Under the sea! What a pretty sight that could be!

''For starters, dude, you suddenly began spending more time with her. At the Duck Pond. I saw you guys.'' Oh yes. Adi had noticed. "And maybe other places but I can't stalk you guys, can I? So I didn't notice any other places.'' He grinned. "So when are you going to tell her?''

Delilah tried looking away but try as she might, she couldn't help but look at his face again. See, he had a really nice-looking face.. and she approved of boys with nice faces. She could feel herself blushing, pushing a few strands of her hair behind her ears.

Beautiful? Great. Now, she was blushing even more. "I'm not beautiful and you're not my boyfriend so please don't call me that. And.. yeah. I'm fine." No, she wasn't. Delilah was beyond embarrassed. She was torn between staring at his pretty face and turning around to run away. WHY was she blushing so much? Stop, Delilah. STOP.

.. "Are you okay?"

Laura looked at her twin and blushed. "I spend the last few hours having a bit of fun." Laura giggled, she was already missing DJ and she didn't care what anyone thought though the next thing had her a bit worried. "No I haven't told them yet I wanted to let you all know at the same time."

"Of course, I'll let them know." Laura hugged her sister, she had meant to get to the station on time things just happened and then she was a bit late. "What do you think about this then?" Laura decided to change the subject. "Our last year at Hogwarts." She hoped they could spend a bit more time together then they had the last few years.

He'd caught her staring. And, y'know, he had to admit that he was pretty impressed that she was at least doing it openly. Most people just stole glances at him, whereas this girl was just staring at him and blushing and playing with her hair. The whole nine yards. Brava.

Which made him smirk, yeah?

"Never said I was your girlfriend, gorgeous," he chuckled and crossed his arms amusedly over his chest. After all, he was pretty sure that his girlfriend would not be pleased with that. "Just complimenting you is all." Seriously, what was the matter with girls and letting boys compliment them. Especially since he didn't have an ulterior motive. Harmless compliment.

Nod. "M'fine, yeah?"

"Fine. I can agree to disagreeing." Hope nodded. Yes, it seemed reasonable enough. She would later ask this girl about these other gestures that she spoke of. It would be something interesting to add some new things to her list of things she knew.

"Yes. Let's go. I'm Hope by the way. Hope Evans." And with that she turned and started head down the corridor towards the food trolley. This girl would never forget her name, that much was certain. Friends or not and it was mostly likely not because Hope didn't believe in having friends. They always ended, mostly because she like to tear people down.

Gorgeous? Delilah knew she looked reasonably pretty and she has received more than her share of compliments about her looks before but she wasn't beautiful or gorgeous. She narrowed her eyes a little but didn't comment. Okay, so. Compliments from a boy were not entirely unwelcome. Especially when the boy was this attractive. "Do you compliment every girl you meet?" ... If that was the case, well.. his compliments were rather meaningless. But, still welcome. Ahem.

"What's your name?" It was just an excuse to look at his face for a little longer. There was no harm in that, right?

She may have been just a little bit envious of Michael about that. While she didn't really care for having a big family, since she wasn't all that fond of people in general, the way they fussed over little things like a family member having their first kiss was something to be jealous of. Not that she would say that, and her expression definitely didn't show it. But she doubted he would be all that irritated with what his family did if he suddenly lost them all. Rhodes mentally shrugged at her own thoughts, and deciding she was getting too deep into them, she put on a rather surprised face at his next comment.

So, his father was a Slytherin. And his mother was a Hufflepuff. And then there was him. A Gryffindor. Weird. "Did the sorting hat mistake you for someone else?" she let out a little chuckle before holding up her hand to let him know she was teasing. She never knew when he would take things the wrong way, because really, her sense of humor wasn't always that humorous. "My dad was a Slytherin. Not sure about mum, though. No one really talks about her."

And.. enough about that.

Rhodes sat herself up straighter against the wall, and leaning forward just a smidgen, she rested her chin against her knees. She was amused, she was, but her smirk was still ever so present on her face. "But this is my friendship we're talking about. It's not your average friendship, is it?" No. No it was not.

Did he compliment every girl he met? How to say this delicately without making himself look anything less then charming? Hmm. It was possible, he could do it, he just needed a second to figure it out. Aha. Got it. "If I meet a girl who is pretty, I suppose I'd mention it. Why? Does it bother you I think you're pretty?" Question turned back around to you.

Name? Oh he really hated this part. The name exchange 'cause his name was so utterly ridiculous. Thanks, Mrs. Hughes. "M'Ascanius," he smirked. And he wouldn't ask for hers. Gorgeous suited him just fine.

Cassia left the prefect's compartment, adjusted her badge then started walking down the corridor. So, she was here on her first official task as prefect, yeah? Patrolling! It was fun if you asked her. Walking around to catch someone doing something. Red-handed! HA! Now they were talking.

So here she was, walking with her head held high and her eyes flickering around taking notes of everything going on.

Well, so far, no billywigs were spotted. A good sign. Because she wasn't sure what to do if she did spot one. Run back to the compartment and tell the others?Confiscateit? Ehhh.. Hopefully it's just a joke and Cutty didn't release anything on board.

Halfway through the corridor, she stopped and leaned against one of the compartments doors. Hmm.. Perfect watching point.

Kace chuckled and agreed. "Alright deal. You can teach me to play instruments and then we will both get the ladies." He loved it when Adi laughed, it was quite contagious. "Then when you learn the soccer moves you be an athletic star and then be able to play the guitar. You will be a ladies magnet." he winked and joked with him.

"Yes we should plan a trip somewhere this summer! It will be awesome!" Kace nodded. Then he listened to Adi's explanation of how he noticed him liking Marigold. It did make sense. He did spend a lot of time with her at the Duck Pond. He remembered giving his valentine for her at the pond. That was good times. "Oh well it does make sense." he told Adi. "I actually don't know if i will tell her yet. I might wait and see what happens." he admitted truthfully. "And no you can't stalk us that might be kind of creepy." he chuckled.

Did it bother her that he thought she was pretty? Unfortunately, Delilah wished she could say no. But, he did think she was pretty. She couldn't help but smile a little. It made her happy. "Not really. Especially when you're so nice-looking yourself." He must have guessed that from of all the staring earlier. Heh.

... Her smile widened to a grin. Ascanius? "Unusual name. But, I think I'll call you A.. if you don't mind." What? Wasn't he going to ask for hers? Ugh. So RUDE! "The name is Delilah." Whatever. She said it, anyway.

Welp. That is why Sarah hated lying.. in fact this was the first time she had lied that whole year. But apparenty lying was allowed to protect feelings. “I don’t know” she shrugged her shoulders.
Sarah had to laugh, “I agree with that.. I LOVE chaos.. when its caused by people I mean.. like people talking and laughing... but I can get rather jumpy at times if I get a sudden shock or movement. “
Sarah nodded, “yeah, I had a blast.” She said. “It was serious work, but I love to write and be in that environment” she said. Her eyes opened wide in awe, “that sounds like fun...did people mind the pranks? I mean, I love to prank people but I only prank people I know so that I know how to prank them without causing serious damage to their feelings or property”
Sarah nodded sympathetically, “I am glad mine are over, they are a necessary evil and all. If you ever need help, I would be glad to help.. except with Ancient Runes and Divinition, I don’t know that so well.” She said, “anyways, what subjects are you doing for OWLs?” Sarah asked.

Bart’s eyes focused on the monkey girl. She was pretty good at hanging on to that Mo dude’s back. He was impressed at least. He gave a bit of a nod back, “I’m Bart” He couldn’t help the smirkish grin that played on his lips as she continued to talk, [b] “He dared me to set fireworks off, but I don’t have any. I would though. I never back down when it comes to dares. “Heh. Maybe I am.” He wasn’t sure he really was, but why not go with it. Then he tried to act surprised by her next words his laughs failing the seriousness he was going for, “troublemaker? You must be mistaking. I’m no troublemaker I just like to have fun. Nothing wrong with that now is there.”

His eyes stayed on her for a few moments. It was she asked the question that made Bart feel like this one was like his best friend not weird like the usual girls. Maybe she’d be a good one to know better. “Know ways of having fun at this school?” He was hoping someone did, because this train ride was proving very boring.



“Lucky? Do you mean some houses don’t have prefects?” because that could go to his advantage. “So I take it you are not a prefect, because you’re telling me this stuff.” He assumed a prefect wouldn’t say it was lucky to have fewer leaders watching over him.

He was like this boy so he assumed he was alright to be honest with. “Oh he told me how nice everyone is, how there are secret passages places, that the pitch isn’t a bad place for a nap, and something about hair ruffling, but I don’t understand that part. He was a hugging hufflepuff though so who knows.” He shrugged Wade was a hugger so that part was very true. “You might know him. Wade Potter?” He had some weird part to his last name, but Bart was lazy and didn’t remember it.

Welp that stunk he would have so done it. “Oh I know at Urelic we made them in class. Just don’t put exploding snaps into the cauldron to try and make them bigger, it doesn’t work and the professor doesn’t appreciate being burned.” His brain was going though, “Maybe once we are at school we could make them and set them off somewhere.” Wade had over heard Wade and Indy talking about a prefect bathroom when he was listening in walking past them one day.

Lana eyed her sister and gave her a questionable look. "I'm not even going to ask you what bit of fun you had." Some details should be kept to oneself and she actually didn't want to know all the details anyway. "You know you could have told us all on the platform when I said bye to mum and dad." That was probably the last time that they would all of been together for a while. In Lana's mind, she wasn't completely sure if she would be going home for the holidays and what happened after the term was still completely unknown even to her.

Eyeing her sister again, she returned the hug. "You better or I'll have to owl them myself and you know how much more upset they will be hearing it from me," she replied. She wasn't a whistle blower but she needed to be sure that Laura would owl their parents. It was bad enough that she worried their parents, they didn't need to be worried about both of them at the same time.

Lana shrugged and let out a small sigh. "It feels so strange." They knew the time would come for them to say good bye to Hogwarts, but it seemed to come all too fast. "Almost surreal, but we knew it was coming but that doesn't mean I'm not excited and a little sad at the same time." This was really going to be the last time for a lot of things for her and she couldn't really get her mind completely around it.

There was the silver lining he was looking for. See? This girl knew how compliments worked. They were usually returned. Most girls typically seemed to miss that part of the exchange, but not this blonde girl. And yeah, he was nice looking. Good of her to notice, yeah?

"Whatever you'd like, beautiful." He'd heard so many variations of his name over the years that it had ceased to bother him. A, Scan, Scanny, Ascanius, Essex. A nickname was pretty much what he went by 'cause his name was awful hard to pronounce.

Smirk. "Nice to meet you." Yeah, he heard her name.

"Here, we'll meet halfway - Cat's still prettier than me, but I'll take on the role of prettiest of the pretties with pride. Can there be a badge for that?" So they could parade around the school and look intimidating with their badges and stuff?

"I'd love for you to teach me, yeah!" Sophie picked a long, blonde strand of hair off Mo's shirt as she spoke, "Me? Say anything nice about you? Why would I ever do such a thing," she teased, then directed her attention to the boy her own age, "You're lucky he's being nice to you, kid, 'cause last term he was a total meanie. Real bully. Scared the pants off kids everywhere. I straightened him out, though," she beamed, giving Mo's hair a fond ruffle. "Now he's a big ol' softie."

He tried out for the England U-17 team? "You made it then, yeah?" Totally casual and cool. There was no reason he shouldn't have - he was good. But how come she hadn't heard about it? Maybe he didn't make it...? Or maybe he was just being modest. "Sounds like a fun summer, though." Wiggling and dropping off his back finally, Sophie waved a hand, "My friendship is a gift enough. Or I might just have something in my trunk for you and just maybe I had planned on presenting it to you when we got back to the common room and now you've ruined the surprise." She gave him a nudge in the side with her elbow, grinning to let him know she wasn't really upset he ruined it. "'Course I wouldn't forget, silly. What kind of friend d'you think I am?"

"Hi Bart." Funny name. "I'll make sure to dare you to do something super fun this term, then - last term, I made it a mission to figure out the ins and outs of the school. Y'know, so there'd be no surprises later on. I think I've got most of it down - I think I know a lot of the fun places... yeah, the only floor I didn't get to explore as much as the others was the sixth. If you're looking for someone to show you the ropes and go on adventures with, I'll be your girl." If he wanted. But she really liked his spunk. He'd be cool to do things with.

And was hair-ruffling really a known 'thing' at Hogwarts? She glanced at Mo because she had just done that to him and giggled a bit. Whoops. Sorry for embarrassing you, Mo.

Adi laughed some more. Since when had his best friend gotten so funny? ''Any other instruments you'd be interested in learning?'' There were so many out there and he wanted to learn them all! Impossible, of course ''Theoretically speaking, if we should put together a band or something,the rock star- soccer duo, we'll never have to work.'' He grinned at that. He was kidding around. But soccer and playing instruments seemed a lot cooler in his head than having to go look for a job.

"Maybe next summer then? You could stay at my place for some time too.'' What fun that would be! But now he was laughing again at what Kace said. ''I suppose it would be creepy.'' He paused. "What are you waiting to see that might happen?'' Love dovey stuff confused him.

"No, they all have prefects. It's just that some don't have as many as others," Mo offered. Were these trade secrets? Should he not share? Mo leaned against the wall of the corridor and crossed his arms across his chest. "And no, I'm not a prefect. Quidditch captain, but it isn't the same at all."

Like one wasn't really expected to be completely responsible as a QC, whereas a Prefect was on a short leash. "I know Wade. Sort of. Typical Puff, and you'll find that means most of what he tells you is only true if you end up in that house. The rest of us don't nap in the grass and ruffle hair as a hobby, but it's fine for them." Bit tame, but then... Hufflepuff. Very tame.

"I'll give you a hand making anything you want, but I won't set them off anywhere that will get me in trouble once we step off the train. My life is complicated by the fact that I can never miss Quidditch practice." Oh, so that was his short leash. Shame.

"Prettiest of the pretties. I'll get you a badge as soon as I can," Mo was delighted that Sophie was no longer choking him to death, and he gave her a return hair ruffle as payment for her service. Didn't she know that one just did not touch a Captain's hair? It just wasn't done. "I'm not mean. I'm never mean. I'm just sometimes misunderstood."

Especially by Sophie, who was still not QUITE up to speed on his sense of humor. She was getting close, though. Very close. "I made it, yeah. Chaser, so I play with West." There was a sort of enforced goodness between them as a result, because you couldn't fight with your fellow Chaser and expect to play well. There had to be balance and trust, at least on the pitch. "Should we have another tea party for your birthday this year?"

Kace thought about it at first. "Hmm i would like to learn the guitar or possibly drums." he said deciding on those two instruments. Those seemed cool enough for his standards. Kace laughed at Adi's observation about the rock star soccer duo. "Yeah we would never have to work, we would be such awesome people." he agreed with the little dude.

"I would like that! It would be awesome for each one of us to stay at each others house. We might learn something." he shrugged. Couldn't hurt right? Kace chuckled and nodded. It would be creepy for him to spy on Marigold and him while they date and such.

Then he got stumped by a question Adi asked. What is he waiting for to happen. "I guess i am waiting on a sign to see if she doesn't see me as a freak or just a friend you know? I am looking for signs to see if she likes me. I think i have found them but i am not sure." he told his friend truthfully.

Was he hearing this girl right did she just say should would dare him. “You’re on I’ll do anything. I’m not scared.” He wasn’t scared to do anything, not at all. This boy did not embarrass that easily or at least he wouldn’t admit if he did. When she started talking about exploring and finding the ins and outs Bart couldn’t help but just have this stupid grin on his face. This girl.. this girl in front of him wasn’t one of those weirdo’s at all. She was cool. All she had to say was she loved quidditch and he would be sold as her new best friends. Well not really because of Brynny, but still best friend right here. “Explore? Yes.. I want to explore and find things to do. I’ll be looking for you to do just that Sophie.” What was with this girl? There didn’t seem to be anything odd about her. He wondered what house she was in, he needed to be in that house for sure.



Hold the Owl, “You are a quidditch captain?” Bart’s smile and excitement grew. “I love quidditch I want to play some day for the woollongong Warriors one day.” Now quiddtich this was even better than finding out there were more normal girls around this school. Maybe he wouldn’t have to do some of his plans anymore if there were more like Sophie and Brynny.

Typical Puff what was that suppose to mean? “So it’s not good to be a puff?” Bart was getting the feeling that puffs weren’t liked or something. Alexa seemed to dislike them and now Mo. Maybe his mother’s house wasn’t the place he should wish to be. Maybe his fathers Slytherin one was better for him or even this Ravenclaw one that Mo said when he first spoke.

“Well you can help make it and I’ll do the dirty work how does that sound? I’ve been suspended and even expelled before. I think my mum wouldn’t be surprised if it happened again. Plus she is so busy with the twins that she’d probably not even notice.” He shrugged no one seemed to notice him anymore since the babies came so a little trouble at school shouldn’t hurt anything.
