Well, there was nothing like starting a new adventure. Mainly, Altair wanted to familiarize himself with as much of the area as possible. He checked out the lake and stayed away from the whomping willow which led him around to the greenhouses. He turned the corned and the light seemed to shine through the trees in a sweet little picnic area. The area was quite quaint. Altair took the opportunity to relax a bit in the area after all his walking and enjoy the nature around him.

Caelen walked into the area, looking around at the relaxing decor. AMBIANCE.. this room has it. It looked really nice. And though she was currently doing something else, she wouldn't want to chance it and miss out on a really cool room at Hogwarts right? She promised that she would explore almost everywhere. The excuse made her grin widely. The half-blood leaned against the door of the terrace and looked at a boy, hanging out by himself for a few seconds. Hmm. Yeah, she would go talk to him. She did after all want to have companions to explore Hogwarts with. And this boy looked like the exploring type. All they needed was a fake beard and a walking stick and they could have their own version of the Hobbit.

She walked over and sat in one of the chairs, trying to keep a respectable distance. He looked so relaxed, she hated to bother him, ya know? Getting a small candy box out of her bag, the pre-teen popped a bean into her mouth and then set the box on the table. In plain sight of course. There was no other way to do this.

"Hey." A little bit of words never hurt either, she supposed. And maybe he would look up like that.

The sun was beaming warmly on his face and he was soaking it all in. It wasn't until he heard a thud on the ground that he realized that he wasn't alone. And something sugary filled the air. He snapped out of his tranquil state of mind to look over to see what kind of audience he was subjected to. It was a young girl, probably his age. She looked sweet, but there was something peculiar about her. Perhaps, it was the way she sat the candy candy between them or the fact that she sat by someone she didn't know.

"Uh, hey," he grinned. Altair wasn't sure about taking the candy or if she was purposefully offering. "What are you eating? Jellybeans?" That's what it looked like at least, but he learned quickly not to assume the obvious.

Caelen offered a closed mouth smile as she swallowed the bean, looking him up and down quick. She hoped that didn't look snotty, but she was trying to get a feel for the kind of person she was. That was important to her; to talk to good people. Well.... it was important to her mom, but there wasn't much of a difference anymore between that. Well, in her mom's eyes anyway.

Ooh, the boy was talking. She listened as intently as she could and hoped she didn't look creepy, popping another jellybean into her mouth. She was like an addict with this stuff. The little redhead sometimes wondered if there was a center out there for people addicted to sweets. She was surprised her mom didn't send her to one already.

"You bet! It's the Bertie Bott's kind. Want one? They're mostly all good!" This was her blatant offer. To be honest, the mean side of Caelen kind of wanted to see him get an earwax one. But the nice side of her -and it was about fifty fifty to be honest- wanted to see him get a good bean. Because nothing solidified friendship like an earwax jellybean.

At least that's what she hoped they could become later on. Again, he looked like he wandered around and if they were both adventerous, well, that would just be awesome

He was really hesitant about trying something he never even heard of before. But, he felt like he would be rude to decline the offer. So much for taking candy from strangers. But, she looked harmless. "Well, my papa said to always try something at least once," he bit his lower lip as he dipped his hand in the beans and pulled out a red one. "Hmm, looks like I got a cherry one!" he said happily as he popped it in his mouth, but as soon as he bit down on the bean his mouth felt like it was on fire.

"Not a cherry one!" he yelled as he spit it out and started to wave his hands frantically over his tongue to try and cool it. It tasted like peppers or hot sauce, but it was extremely powerful and he could feel his head begin to sweet and the heat began to flow from his tongue to all over his body. "What the heck was that?" he said as he kept waving his hands. He didn't know if it was some sort of trick. Why would she do such a thing?

Leah was usually very interested in nature and stuff, so she walked to the greenhouses that sunny afternoon to look at the plants and take in some fresh air. The girl's first stop was the terrace, where she found two students her age chatting in there.

"Hi, guys. Can I join you?" Leah asked them. She knew Altair, the boy, but had not talked to the Ravenclaw girl before. "I'm Leah. Hufflepuff. You are?" She asked friendly. "Are you OK, Altair?" She added, noticing Altair's weird behavior for the first time. "Oh, a Bertie Bott's Bean? I see. No wonder. Can I try one too? I love adventures." Leah said grinning, seeing the box in the girl's hand.

Christmas entered the terraced area and took a seat at one of the tables and hoped that she wouldnt be waiting for Bay long she wanted to get to know her better

Bay hadnt been to this area yet and it seemed pretty girly but hey if this is where Christmas wanted to meet that was fine with him, he would go any where. He spotted her sitting down on a bench. Moving towards her he was hoping he looked okay, he put his hand through his hair he reached her.

"hey Christmas, I hope you havent been waiting long" he said while taking a seat next to her.

Christmas smiled at Bay and said "Nope i haven't been waiting all that long, thanks for coming Bay i wanted somewhere less popular to get to know you better"

He was starting to get real excited now, she wanted to get to know him better, that was a good thing rigt because he really liked her....... Wait a minute was this a date, Bay started to feel nervous all over again.

"sounds like a good idea to me." he said while trying not to stare at her to long, he did not want to creep her out. "so what would you like to know?" he asked.

Christmas smiled and said "Well what is your favourite professional qudditch team" Christmas's heart was beating fast she was really nervous cause she liked Bay a lot

Favourite quidditch team?? He didnt have one which was weird because hes tried out for the Gryffindor team.. His mother never really let him watch Quidditch. "ermmm.. I dont really have one.. Ive got really strict parents.. So i didnt get to watch any matches... But when im all moved out on my own ill be able to." he told her..

"what about you?"

Christmas grinned at Bay and said "My favourite quidditch teams are Holyhead Harpies and Pride of Portree and i hope you get to watch some games soon"

Oh teams hes never heard of, Bay just nodded. "yeah i hope so too." he said while looking around the empty place. "this place is errrrr nice and peaceful... Great place to relax." he wipped his hands on his pants, oh no.. Sweaty hands....great.

Christmas nodded and said "Yeah it is that is why i asked you to meet me here cause well there is something that i want to tell you" Christmas's heart was pounding and she was so nervous

Whaaaa?...... She has something to tell him. His heart started to pound in his chest, his mind started to throw out sanarios. Bay cleared his throat. "euhhhhhh... What would that be?" he gave her soft eyes for now he really wanted to know.

Christmas smiled and said "Well your really nice Bay and well i have liked you a lot since we met that is why i asked you down here so i could get to know about you" Christmas hoped that Bay didnt faint on her or something

Bay listened carefully for he didnt want to miss a word. Really....... She likes him "alot" Bay didnt know what to do.. Should he jump for joy or cry... He picked trying to play it cool. " i like you alot too.." he told her, he really wanted to reach out and grab her hand so you know what he did. Wipping his hand again on his pants he took hers in his very gentlly. "is this okay.." he asked while looking at their hands smiling... Then it hit him... Were they dating?..

Like boy friend and girl friend?.. He hoped that she would clairify what that meant... Before he started to write her name in his books, he knew girls mostly did that but its how much he liked her.

Christmas blushed and said "Yeah it is okay and well i guess that we should make plans for dates and stuff" Christmas was happy that she found someone she liked she just hoped that it would last with Bay

Bay felt like nothing could bring him down from cloud nine. Looking st them holding hands he was really happy. "of course, how about i pick you up one afternoon and we go for a picnic and we can you know sit in classes together and have lunch...."

Bay hoped that his ideas for plans wasnt scarrying her. He gave her the nicest smile he could muster and just looked at her, cheeks flushed with red. He hoped she was as happy as he was at this moment.

Christmas smiled at Bay and said "Well they all sound brilliant Bay" Christmas was so happy that she gave Bay a peck on the cheek and blushed afterwards

Phew…so glad that she liked his ideas. "sounds like a plan" he said smiling at her. thats when she reached over and kissed his cheek, his face instantly went red and he didn't know what to say "thank you" he told her while still holding her hand. "How about I pick you up tomorrow near the great hall and we have some breakfast together before we start class" he just wanted to be around her more and more now. Eeeeppppp he just was so happy.

Christmas smiled at Bay and said "That sounds like a plan to me Bay" Christmas thought that Bay looked cute when he blushed

Cucumber sandwich in hand, Lux was looking for a nice spot outside where she could eat in peace and enjoy the beautiful day outside. It was going to be getting colder soon enough, and it was important to enjoy the nice weather while it lasted since she was never one to like the cold much.

While venturing in the Herbology area, she came across a place that looked like a nice lounge area with a few chairs to sit on. Deciding that it was a nice and shaded spot, she headed over and took a seat on one of the chairs, surprised that it was actually a lot more comfortable than it looked.

Looking around her, she began to eat.
