| | The Stone Gargoyles
At the very bottom of the Headmistress' hidden spiraling staircase and at the head of a long pink carpet sit two, dark gray, stone gargoyles. The ugly but enormous stone statues keep out those who do not belong.... or those who are not welcome.
You shall not pass this way without a password. OOC: Post here if you are waiting, but please do not chat here. The seating area is for conversation and general RPs.

"Please announce the Board of Governors to the Headmistress." She ignored the sad eyes from the gargoyles and waited for their entrance. The Stone Gargoyles would part for no man, but as it happened, the President of the Board of Governors was no man. They also knew her face and to expect her.
Silent as ever, the stone statues parted for Cassandra Rae.

Silent as ever, the stone statues parted for Cassandra Rae. "Yes, thank you," Cassandra stepped forward and gave each of the gargoyles a little pat on the snout. Pat pat pat. Excellent work with that guarding of doors bit.
"You two look marvelous. Someone's been dusted recently, and it really shows." She stepped through the door and headed up the stairs.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Erik Odin Vinteren Graduated | Vinteren, Erik Vinteren Erik moved quickly and efficiently through the corridors to the Headmistress' office. He remembered traversing these same hallways from when he was....campaigning....and from when he had taught History of Magic. He had not missed the place.
When he came to a stop outside the gargoyles, he gave a small sigh and rapped his knuckles on one of their heads. "I need to see the President of the Board of Governors?" he addressed the statue, feeling ridiculous doing so. Why was he asking the statue for permission? It was a statue. |

The Stone Gargoyles, silent and still as ever, didn't care for the password with the familiar, former professor. Though they would've appreciated the knuckle-rapping to be less urgent.
They parted for him to pass.

They parted for him to pass. Ah, the gargoyles listened. Vonderful. "Thank you," Erik nodded gruffly at the statues and passed them to enter the Headmistress' office.
