Oh, there she was.
Dora turned away from the match just as it was starting to see Penelope join her in the box. If she were a lesser person, she'd be all bent up about her being late, but she was not this today - today - and she liked the other girl so she sort of nodded in greeting instead. "You're late." By like two minutes. So not the lesser person. Her jarvey greeted Penelope not-so-kindly but Dora didn't seem to hear him. "I've got snacks if you want them." But not this second, she had to do her 'job'.
"Alice doesn't seem to happy about her shot being blocked by the gray-haired one, and makes a sharp turn in the air after the quaffle that is now in possession of little Sophie. That kid is fast in the air though, and manages to pass it to Lily just in the nick of time. Potter loops past Bartholomew and swerves out of the way of a bludger in time to score. That's a goal for Ravenclaw! The quaffle goes back to the lions, Alice seems determined to get across the pitch despite her aging form." It was a good thing that pretty much everyone else was old and not fun to look at out there. Worrisome. Disappointing. Majorly. But a good thing for her best. "And she's doing a fine job of it! Dodging the players of the other team young and old, literally, with practiced skill. The beaters seem to be the only thing capable of stoping her and they are aware of this as Josette Edayson has just sent one her way, but she misses!" LOOKS were sent her way. "And manages to hit Bartholomew right in the left knee instead. That looks like it hurt, but that kids a Gryffindor. I hear they feel know pain." That's where the stupid comes in.
"Alice keeps moving down the pitch successfully and goes for a goal.... only to have it blocked by Brynn Rhys-Davies." Disappointment. "Marcus Orion snatches up the quaffle, and with his girls at his side they manage to do a number passing moves to get past Gryffindor and to the other side of the pitch. The 'Claw captain shoots, and he scores!" Dora squinted. "And is that the snitch I see?" Probably, she had decent vision.
She passed the mic to Penelope.

Hmm was that her female Prefect.......Lizzy Miro, Izzy Miro-ensalada? Oh Isadora, yeah it sounded like her commentating.
Finally Elwood found a seat beside Seren and slowly lowered her body onto the bench. Sitting hurt almost as much as standing these days. Thankfully her flowing skirts didn't show the small pillow she had used a permanent sticking charm on to ease the weight on her aged bum.
Airey was sitting on the other side of the Gryffindor Head of House and Callie leaned forward to squeeze his bony knee in greeting. "Hey there." Her hand reminded her too much of a claw for her liking.
"Oh, they are." Her friend's poor eyesight had gone, which meant she probably wasn't too far away from losing her's too. "Ravenclaw is flying rather well today." She was so proud of them.

"Don't get too close, Flamsteed farted," Seren warned as Callie leant across her to get touchy-feely with the Astronomer. She didn't mind the gesture and being caught in the middle, it was nice and cosy in the middle, and Merlin knew she was still cold despite the better weather they'd been having. No frost meant she might be able to keep her toes. "And... the Lions?" she asked, squinting at the colourful swirls around the pitch. "It's a shame we couldn't field a full squad." Such a shame...
There was no denying that Ravenclaw looked good. Really good... and blue was a nice enough colour. But the Lions were still rawr-like, and short on players which made them even more rawr-like. In fact, it worked in their favour, because they just looked to be the stronger side despite not executing play. His spontaneous magic thing wasn't working, as was evident by the score board... so he'd have to try other tactics to entice a Gryffindor victory. It was then that the commentators gave him an idea...
"C'MOOOON BART! AND ALICE! AND EPIC KEEPER GIRLL..." what was her name?? and.... wow... okay, wow. That Ravenclaw dude was immense. Marcus Orion huh? What sort of name was Orion?
Epic keeper girl? ....
Emily gave the side of Zeke's head a good look, he was really trying at this wasn't he? Circe help her if the Lions lost, he'd be miserable, but Circe help her if they won... then he'd be invading her work space and insisting it be during actual work hours when she would be far too busy to indulge him in games of lets go adventuring.

Callie looked at Seren with a funny look. Did she just say fart?
"It's no matter, my sense of smell has mostly left me now." It was still gross she guessed but she'd just keep her mouth closed while she was leaned in.
That really was a shame. The Claws had had matches where they were unable to get a full squad together, all the house had really, it was usually not a good sign. "The lions are flying okay, it's still early. Oh, look Miss Fischer just score to bring them out of the negatives." That was good at least.
"THE SNITCH!" Callie couldn't see that good but the collective gasp from the students gave her that impression, also the commentators were really helping, did they get paid? "Ravenclaw caught it I just know it!" Callie rasped excitedly after trying to jump up but sitting back down quickly on account of her knees.

She was close enough to her friend to see the look on her face. Yes Callie, fart. But at the dismissal of the fact, Seren couldn't help but feel envious. "Lucky." That being said, she couldn't really complain, working with fertilisers was part of her job description and it was far worse than what Flamsteed's bottom could produce.
Okay? Just okay? ...... Seren pouted, squinting even harder to see if she could focus in on anyone. But no such luck. Quidditch was not friendly to her deteriorating sense of sight. "Well I suppose that's progress," she noted, sadly. "It's truly a shame... considering it's Fischer's last game and all." The Captain deserved a stronger send off than this, but it couldn't be helped. And Ravenclaw got the snitch now too? Under normal circumstances, she'd be elated that her former house was winning. But since it was her cubs' game, she simply felt deflated.
Seeing the glint of gold, Zeke jumped from his seat, the binoculars held around his neck finally getting his attention. Whoooops. Forgot those. He quickly whipped it up to his eyes and managed to focus on play in time to see...
...
Oh. "Heh.... good one Ravenclaw," he said amicably. It was now that he spared a glance to Emily, see, he wasn't being sore about this - because he knew he'd get something out of it in the end, even if it wasn't what he wanted. Perhaps he could convince her to take him for one of her lunch dates with Gavin. She could pull him out of school for it, and he's go back willingly afterward.
Emily met Zeke's gaze after initiating another round of applause. Kudos Eagles, kudos. And yes, Zeke, you are losing the bet. She smiled, content with knowing this.

Haven't started... Alec nodded before saying, "Thanks! I... didn't want to miss this." Quidditch. Ells understood, right? "Erm... and.. how've you been?" he asked, shooting a furtive glance in her direction. Since they hadn't seen each other in... a long time.
This wasn't awkward, right?
Wait... commentating? Dora was leaving them? Alec was... a little disheartened by that but he smiled and gave her a thumbs up. "Good luck!" ... You said things like that to commentators, right? Right. Yeah. He watched as she headed off to the box and was joined by... Penelope. He still half-expected the Gryffindor to be seeking.
Taking a sip of his soup, the Head Boy turned his attention over towards... "BRO!" And fistbumps? Yeah! This was normal for them so, balling his hand up into a fist, he gave the Slytherin what he hoped would be a good enough fistbump. "Not much. Thought I'd be here for moral support," Because look who the Beater, Keeper and Chaser on the Gryffindor team were! "Looks like the Claws are doing really well." Nodnod.

Penelope shrugged. "It happens." Especially since she hadn't expected to be commentating, so being almost sorta late was okay in her opinion. Oh, and Dora had brought her jarvey. She hadn't noticed it until it spoke. Hopefully it didn't accidentally speak into the microphone and insult all the players. Actually, that might be really funny.
"'Course I want some." Snacks were always welcome to this Gryffindor.
Anyway.
Negative score now? Of course. Penelope couldn't help being a little amused by it, even though it meant Gryffindor was still losing. But it was funny for reasons.
She was soon distracted though because, yes, that was definitely the snitch.
"The Seekers have spotted the snitch too because they're after it like lightning. They're racing over the pitch as Alice takes the quaffle down the pitch. The Claw Chasers seem a bit too distracted by the Seekers to try and stop her, so she makes a nice goal past Rhys-Davies!
"Bayliss and Bay are still chasing that snitch, now over the stands, until it makes a sudden turn to the left. And apparently Vesper was ready for it because she turns just as fast and - she's got it! First snitch capture of the game. Score's 80 to 0." No more negatives hopefully.
"Claw Chasers are finally back in the game as the Keeper tosses them the quaffle. Fischer's not going easy on them though, and she forces Potter to suddenly pass to Brown. She manages to catch it and tosses it to Branxton before Alice can get to her. He's already close to the goal so he shoots - and scores! It's 90 to 0 now." She still believed in her lions though. They were fighters no matter what.
"Alexa doesn't look happy as she tosses the quaffle back into play, and Alice looks determined to score again. Branxton and Brown try to team up and block her path, but she flies over them and dodges Potter to shoot - and score! Nice- Er, ouch, that was a bludger. Little Edayson knocked it right into Alice after her goal." Not happy about the Captain getting the quaffle past the other firstie? "So score's still 90 to 0."
Aaand back to Dora. Oh hey, the snitch was back again.

Why, yes, of course she was here. This was Alice's last game at Hogwarts, you know? So she was showing some support. Also, it might be the last game Alice gets to play, and her bestie too, if they don't fix this old-age thing soon.
Sigh.
But supporting, yes, internally. Because she wasn't wearing any sort of color that would imply where her allegiance lies. Though it was perfectly clear it wasn't with Ravenclaw. Except for Vesper. WHO HAD CAUGHT...two snitches already, yes? Yes?! Probably, though she couldn't be sure of the last one.
The Hogwartian was still beaming because Vesper was catching snitches, and none of the people who mattered had gotten bludger hits yet.

This wasn't going too well at all......... he wanted to cheer Ravenclaw. But two things were stopping him. The first, was the fact that he had made a bet stating Gryffindor would win. A change in his cheering would simply reflect a loss of confidence in his own decisions. Secondly, he kinda liked the Lions? The Orion guy, or was it Branxton? Jeezuz comentators! PICK A NAME AND STICK TO IT!... or did they not know who he was so they were making things up? That was possible. But yeah, he was cool... all sorts of win really, and apparently the captain too. But again, the Lions.
Mystery Keeper chic had a name tooooo, Alexa. It wasn't what he had expected, but then he didn't know what to expect to begin with. "IT'S OKAY ALEXAAAAA!" he cheered out at her. "COME ON LIOOOONSSS," he added defiantly. See. He could stick to his guns - because changing them would not be in his best interest right now.
"Two snitches and the scoreboard tells me the game is pretty much over, sure you want to stick around?" Emily asked, she wasn't against ditching early to beat the rush. Cause y'know, people bumping and invading space wasn't ideal.
"Nuuh," was his only response, his gaze still fixed to the game. "That Bart guy, he's Victoria's son... d'you know that?" he asked conversationally, peering through his binoculars at the Beater. Didn't Victoria say he played as Chaser? "And that Branxton dude has guts." He'd have said the b word, but it wasn't nice to say in front of ladies, even if Emily was different to most.

Ella was full of it. Dora knew this, yeah? She just hadn't wanted to admit she'd been crying like a baby for weeks and leaky eyes sounded less...childish, she guessed. The Head Girl widened her eyes slightly to give Dora a better look and then glanced back at the pitch. "Leaking." Mhm. A small smile played on her lips as well when she found out it was Alice's hat. She should have known, yeah? "Figured you were here for her." Nodnod. From what Ella could tell, Dora was a really great friend. And was also leaving them, apparently. They eighteen year old smiled a bit wider and waved as she headed away from them. "Have fun." Commentating with Penelope was bound to be considering the girl probably had snacks.
"Yeah, Quidditch." Ella did understand and she glanced over at Alec, nodding her head. Her eyes quickly went back to the game as Ravenclaw continued their attack. Merlin, they were doing well today. Not surprising, really. They remained fixed even when he asked her how she'd been and the eighteen year old simply shrugged. "Fine, I guess. ...You?"
No, Ella didn't want any sweets. She smiled at Airey but simply shook her head. "Thanks Professor but I'm okay." And not very hungry at the moment. Speaking of hungry, did Airey just call Asher a ravioli? Heh.
...
Done already? Ella blinked when the whistle blew and looked around. That...yeah. Wow. The eighteen year old wasn't keen on sticking around to watch things going on on the field for reasons so she stood up and turned her attention to Asher and Alec. "Think I'm heading back in now. See you both." Small smiles were given and then she was off...slowly.
Arriving back at Hogwarts, Kurumi RASTING (!!!) made her way to the stands and....once again found herself confused as to whether or not she was in the right place. She remembered the Daily Prophet article about all the aging...and had heard a thing or two from her friends still here - not to mention the appearance of half of the guests at the wedding - but it was still...odd.
So, since she didn't recognize anyone, she made her way towards her old seat and promptly sat down. Crossing one leg behind the other in a lady-like manner and pulled a large poster out, unrolled it, and hung it over the edge of the stands to make sure that the players on the pitch could see it.
More importantly...could ALICE see it?
Merlin it was weird knowing that Alice was graduating this term. Kurumi had known her as a first year. Where had all those years gone?!
And was Selina coming? She could really use some company. That she recognized.
Selina had been very frazzled lately for reasons and so, when Kurumi had knocked on her door repeatedly this morning, she slept straight through the knocking until a nightmare ABOUT missing Biter's last match woke her up. As quickly as she could, she put on clothes….ish, because, MERLIN, she couldn't really be bothered now to get properly made up. Ever. Sorry Biter.
And then she tried to inconspicuiously make her way into her seat next to Rumi, "Sorry I'm late…" AND she heard the announces which were ICKLE SHARK BAIT and DORA, who ate a lot of her food every summer with Biter, talking about how it was 90 to 0.
SQUINTING at the pitch, she stopped talking to Kurumi and stood on her feet SCREAMING, "COME ON GRYFFINDOR. KICK THEIR LAZY, LIBRARY GRUBBING BUMS.'"
She was an adult now.
----------
Ascanius very nearly rolled his eyes at the very loud redhead behind him, but he kept it to himself. That lady was nuts and had obviously missed enough of the game to PROPERLY miss what was going on, yeah? She didn't need to be blasting her ignorance in his very pretty ears, y'know?
Speaking of pretty, this game was really not that. It was rough for him to watch Gryffindor getting their hair ruffled a little. Poor Alice. S'her last game of her Hogwarts career and just because she was short players she couldn't seem to push through the fortress that Ravenclaw had up.
Ah well. She was still playing wonderfully. And he'd be sure to let her know that. As well as the commentators and everyone else on the Pitch.
Okay, maybe not ALL of them. But the girls were defintely getting their rounds of winks and such, yeah? Especially Vesper.

What Gryffindor didn't welcome food? Hell, that was practically all of her friends considered eating a hobby of theirs. Or cooking.
Dora reached into her sack, first pulling out a smaller pouch and then pulling out a larger one that contained three butterbeers, two sandwiches, chips, and a jar of jam. She pulled out a butterbeer for herself and handed the pouch over to her classmate.
She didn't have time to open her drink though, snitch on the pitch.
"And there's the second snitch, crowd! The seekers are moving fast throughout the other players, narrowly avoiding the bludgers that speed past their heads and disappearing up into the sky. Who knows when we'll see them again. Meanwhile, in our field of vision the Ravenclaws have taken hold of the quaffle and are battling it out with the pitch. Tag is swinging that bat a little too wild if you ask me, but the Claws are prepared for it as Sophie dodges the ones that come her way, she passes the quaffle to Marcus Orion who gets knocked into by hurt foot Bartholomew." Clearly he wasn't that hurt. "He fumbles with the quaffle, almost loosing hold of it and what little hair he has left, before passing it down at the last second to Lily who speeds off high for a side goal, only to be blocked by Alexa with the sweep of her broom's tail." Nice save.
And whaaaaat was that noise in the crowd? "The seekers have reappeared in the stands! Parting crowds and knocking into a few students while trying to throw each other off course, they both seem determined to get the snitch. They take a sharp turn straight for the nicely mowed grass on the pitch when the snitch does, and it's Vesper who manages the catch, pulling back juuuuust before crashing into the ground." Now that was some skill. "That's the second snitch catch for the Ravenclaws." Merlin, they needed more lion ones.
"The lion captain has the quaffle back once again, and doesn't seem physically fazed at all by that bludger to the arm. Somehow managing to keep hold of both it and her broom while she narrowly escapes the chasers and sinks her teeth into Josette Edayson." Ouch. Ew. Proud. "Shake it off kid, other have had worse. She kicks at Benjy to keep him at bay and scores a goal for Gryffindor! Go lions!" Oh... did she say that out loud? Oh, well.
She cracked open her butterbeer. "Old man Mo doesn't seem impressed with the expected violence towards his players as he takes control of the quaffle and goes wide. That doesn't make him safe from the bludgers though he IS pretty good on that broom and manages to escape them easily. The same can't be said for his team who Benjy, while trying to keep his captain safe, manages to take a bludger right in the ribs. Little Sophie takes up his place in the line of defense, but insteads manages to get the quaffle, passing it back and forth with Lily until they spot Marcus again. He shots, he scores!"
Penelope's turn, she was gonna drink her drink now.

Was that a nuuh as in, no we can go, or was that a nuuh as in, shush I'm watching the game? Emily eyed the boy curiously, her arm resting on the back of the bench behind him. So, was he going to move? Judging by the fact that he kept talking, she figured he wasn't done yet.
"I did," she confirmed with a nod. She'd heard about the boy, and could pick him out of a line-up if need be, but she didn't know him, so the conversation didn't hold any appeal to her. As for Branxton. Relation to her Branxton? ... "They seem to be a gutsy breed," she agreed, coming to the conclusion that there must be some relation there considering the school and 'Claw thing. "But c'mon... let's go."
Emily rose from her seat, hand outstretched to take his, if he wanted, or else he was welcome to navigate his own way through the crowd that was departing.
Zeke watched a little more as the players flew around a bit before landing and stuff. Were any of them badly injured? Could they stay to watch how they were healed?... apparently not. "Alrighhttt," he agreed, giving her his hand despite leading them out of their row and in the direction of the stairs. "Do I have to start cleaning straight away?" he asked, curiously.
Her smirk was back, she'd won without trying, and not it meant she could use this free time to do work, and he could clean.. and then when they were done they could go and invade the Isaacs' household.. among other things. "We can eat first," was her response as they left the stands.

Even though Gryffindor ended up getting crushed by Ravenclaw, Lux still had fun watching the game. She had cheered for Bay and Bart, and there was cake. Ooh, and she got to see friends who didn't go to Hogwarts yet. It was all so amazing and fun. Why couldn't there be loads more matches before the end of term? But at least the knew that for the next match, Emmy and Cinnamon would be students with her. So yaaay.

Good selection of snacks too. Butterbeer was an especially good choice. Penelope took one of those and a sandwich out. Could've taken more, but it was probably better to not stuff her face right now when it'd be her turn soon. She COULD eat fast when she wanted to, of course, but she didn't want to right now.
Munching on the sandwich as she set the pouch on the table in front of them, the Gryffindor continued to watch. Very violent game, this was. Not that that was surprising. Ravenclaw might've been hitting most of the bludgers, but Gryffindors didn't need those to cause some injuries. Heh. Penelope definitely approved.
There wasn't even much time to recover from all those because the bludger was hit again! "Apparently Barton didn't appreciate Alice biting his fellow Beater. He's hit the bludger - and Alice darts out of the way just in time with the quaffle - but it hits Tag Kildare instead." Ouch. Poor Tag. "Alice makes another good shot past the Rhys-Davies though." So that was good.
"She throws it back into play and it's caught by Brown, who seems to be trying to avoid Alice as much as possible. She tosses it to Potter who takes it down the rest of the pitch and dodges past Alice, and then Mo catches the quaffle and shoots - and it sails just over the hoop." Bummer. It was close though, and sometimes that happened.
"No time to focus on that though because the snitch is back again! The Seekers are off - and Alice is too, taking the quaffle down the pitch after a nice toss from Lex. And the Gryffindor Beaters haven't given up the fight either as Bart Maroon takes a shot at one and hits it straight at Barton. Alice is at the other end, preparing to shoot - and scoring! Ten points to Gryffind-" What was Alice doing no- oh. "Captain Alice has sunk her teeth into Lily Potter. Now that's how you celebrate another goal." Obviously.
Now where had the Seekers gone?
Oh there they were - shooting out from under the stands and...Vesper's fist was raised triumphantly in the air. "And Vesper Bayliss has caught her third snitch of the game! Score's 190 to 10, so Ravenclaw wins!" Eh. Oh well. "Good game to both teams." And with that, she turned the mic off as the fans cheered for whichever team they were rooting for.

Victoria got her self comfy and waited for the match to start. Hearing the commentators using her sons full name she frowned, "It's Bart" She mumbled to herself and groaned for her child. She disliked it as much as he did, her ex husband's family name just annoyed her anymore. She straightened up as the whistle blew and watched. Oh Brynny was playing keeper, Bart had said she was really good and look she was. Saving those goals that was just amazing. She couldn't help but cheer for her sons best friend.
When the bludger started flying she felt her heart jump, why was he playing beater today, he wasn't use to this, but she also knew he liked hitting things so it was kind of a good spot for him.
She gasped as the bludger slammed into his knee. Oh no was it the same place he was hit the last time. Oh her stomach hurt watching it, but it was part of the game. She just wished he didn't look like an eighty year old playing, could his bones be like one too right now? That couldn't help any with that hit, but he was still playing that had to mean something didn't it?
She continued to watch and cheer through the match and really cheer as her son made a connection with the bludger, though she did hope the boy that got hit wasn't hurt. Watching as the match ended and her son now on the ground she sat wanting to see him get up and walk it off before she would go home.
Her smile completely dropped when something happened. Though she was still incredibly happy and excited for Ves, for reasons! Because yay! She got the snitches! Too bad for the opposing Seeker, whatever his name was.
For now, she was free to go. Hopefully her bestie was fine. And someone else should be fine too. If not...
...Well, THEN.
Well, then.
Lotus was definitely leaving. Thank you, Quidditch.
...Well. Climbing to the top of the stands was definitely a little more tiring this time round, but not as bad as she’d expected. At least she wasn’t about to pop... for a couple of months. Still, it was a shame Richard was working. He could have carried her or something. Oh well.
Aurora found a seat at the very front row of the stands, where she didn’t have to get up on her tiptoes to try and see what was going on - this tiny little five foot woman had a hard time seeing over other people’s heads, okay? And she wanted to be able to see everything. Cause there was something super exciting about the last match of the season at Hogwarts... she’d been to every single match when she was at school here, and since she’d finished university now she was getting bored at home, especially when Rich was at work, so why not come back?
She peered over the edge of the stands to see if the players were coming out yet.
____
Fergus was here! He’d nearly missed it due to a particular difficult night with Hugo, but Julie had taken their baby son to the park this morning so he’d been able to come and watch Derry play in the last match of the season... to watch her WIN! ... Maybe. Probably. She was his daughter and he had every single faith in her. Plus, quidditch was in her blood, okay? ... Sort of... he was excitable and sleep deprived... this was going to be interesting.
Fergus took his seat, a couple of rows back from the front - he didn’t want to distract his super seeker little daughter from what she was doing, and with his fiery red hair (curse of the family) he wasn’t exactly difficult to spot... especially decked out entirely in green and silver with his flag and the scarily realistic looking toy snake he was wearing around his torso.
He'd not told his son that he was coming to watch today as it had been a last minute thing. He was rarely free to come and attend his boy's school matches even if he made it a priority to go to the international ones outside of school. This one seemed important to West though and sure they were all important in their way but this one had a lot riding on it. All the same, as much as he'd like his son and his own former house to win this match and the cup, if it didn't happen he'd be proud anyway. The proudest. What he was here to see really, more than winning, was his son as Captain. His son as a leader. His son... grown up. And truly he wasn't only there to support West anyway. He'd give Theodore a wave and yell just as loud for his son's best friend. He thought the prefect was a positive influence on West. And young Derry. He'd not minded when West had befriended her and brought her home for Christmas a few years back. Slytherin in general really, and from what he understood, Hufflepuff were their toughest opponents, and led by another of West's friends.
... was there anyone his son hadn't befriended?
He noted that the stands were still rather empty as he made his way into the Slytherin Supporter's section, not wearing any particular indication that he was supporting any particular house, rather he'd dressed smartly in a casual suit with a nice shirt open at the collar. After the match and hopefully after catching his son for a spell, he was to have Dinner with the Boles. Going out somewhere apparently, since Van wanted his wife to have the night off cooking but secretly Leon would rather just eat at their place, and take advantage of his partner's access to good Moretti food. Ah well. Any food was alright by him as long as it wasn't poisoned.
There was a seat. Oh and he knew that... gentleman. Actually Mr Ferrier looked more the proud father than Leon did probably, what with how decked out he was in Slytherin colours (aside from the hair).
"Fergus." Leon took the seat next to him and gave the other man a quick smile and nod of acknowledgement as he folded himself into the seats that really didn't have quite enough room for the length of his legs. He managed to make it look natural all the same, his bearing, as with all Odessas, was rarely one of discomfort or awkwardness.
"How's the new baby?" Naturally West kept Leon informed of these things though Leon didn't know any details apart from that. It seemed a lifetime ago since he'd had to deal with everything a new baby entailed... and hopefully a lifetime away since he wasn't too keen on his children having children any time soon and somehow doubted that his daughter would ever be so inclined anyway.
ooc: I will roll with anything as far as people or things that Leon apparently knows, given I've been away for so long and the RP must go on, so to speak
And very early, too. The stands were practically empty.. Oh, well. The girl shrugged to herself as she skippedmade her way to the front and sat down, placing her bag on the ground before taking out the banner she'd made a few days ago. Yes, she had come prepared. If it wasn't so warm outside, she'd have worn her yellow jacket in support of her house, too.
The blonde leaned back against the seat comfortably and stared out at the pitch, absently fidgeting with the ends of her hair. This was going to be a good game. Yeah, she knew it.

Things were slow going, yet again, for the astronomer as he relied on his cane for balance as he hobbled and stumbled his way down from the castle, across the grounds, up the stairs, and eventually towards his usual seat. Wait...where was his usual seat again? He couldn't recall at the moment...but perhaps sitting near where the announcers would be doing their, er, announcing would be best. Be sure that he could hear things if he was sitting right in front of them.
And so it was, after Airey adjusted his bowtie, that he began to slowly make his way towards his decided seat.

But not before stopping to squint at this young woman.
Standing in front of her for several long and awkward moments before anything clicked in his brain. A former student of his and something about a book....
Still very much squinting at the somewhat familiar face that he still could not place, he DID see a certain Hufflepuff walk by and managed to wiggle his cane in her direction. "Good day to you, Miss Starr. Stellar weather we are having."

Fergus was super excited... but exhausted. It was quite an interesting feeling, quite like being suspended in a fuzzy version of reality where everything was going at strange speeds and he had some kind of invisible cotton wool wrapped around his head. But he'd had two and a half cups of coffee before leaving home this morning, so he'd probably be properly awake by the time the game started.
Oh! Look, someone was talking to him. Wake up, brain, you're kind of needed... Fergus gave Leon a big smile and ran a hand through his ginger hair. "Leon, hi." ... He looked suave, and here was Fergus in his work clothes. Some people were just born to look swish.
"Hugo's great." Fergus replied, a smile spreading across his face. "He's eight months old now.. starting to pull himself up and get into everything..." And a farmhouse is not an easy place to baby proof... at least he wasn't running around and getting in with the sheep yet. They had aaaaall this to look forward to... if he was going to be anything like Derry then he really needed to get a move on and start putting baby proof locks on everything."How are you?"

Aurora was eating one of the lemon cupcakes she'd brought for the team to eat post match... she just liked lemons lately okay? And these were tasty... she was going to have to force herself to save some for the team at this rate. All the excitement plus the lemony flavour seemed to be getting to the baby cause she gave Aurora a big kick... one of the strongest yet actually. Rora squeaked and prodded her tummy, "Oi... stop that." Though it was kinda cute... hehehe.
She was so distracted that she hardly noticed the old man who was squinting at her until... hang on... "Um... Professor?" Professor Flamsteed?! He looked about seven hundred years old... what had happened around here? "Are you alright?"

Soo. Championship game. His old team players. So obviously Clement was here. Because he wanted to show support to his old team. He had a rare weekend off from the Arrows, so it had all worked out quite good. Hopefully he'd be able to see the guys after the game. After the game that they would hopefully win. It'd be awesome for West to get a championship cup. They would all see soon.
Humming to himself the ex-slytherin wandered up into the stands, and found himself a seat. Now to just wait for the game to begin

"He'll be walking around in no time then." That was the day trouble began. Literally in the case of his family, and once West had started walking it hadn't been long until climbing had happened and Leon would never forget the day he'd found his TODDLER son on the bloody roof... ahem. Best not mention that to Fergus, the man might have a conniption.
"I'm well." He assured the other man. "Busy with work."
That was it. His life essentially was work or his children. Who weren't really children anymore. Merlin, Aspen was likely to want to permanently move out soon.
What a horrible thought.
Leon glanced out at the pitch, eager for things to begin.

"So long as he doesn't end up in the pig pen at any point..." Fergus remarked, suddenly remembering how Derry used to get in with the sheep somehow. And now they had pigs too... and pigs were far more dangerous, especially for little children. ... Jeez.
Well. Good. "That's great, better to be busy than bored..." Not that Fergus was ever bored... they'd had a couple of foxes get into the chickens last week, he was still making up his losses... And then there was the baby, and with Julie going back to work soon they still had to sort out a day or so of childcare a week... So much to think about..
