Grab a seat before the match starts, but get up on your feet once the Quaffle is released! Come decked out in House colors or show your pride by joining Professor Flamsteed in a cheer. Unlike in the Great Hall, there are no designated House seating areas, so grab a seat by your friends. While good-natured competition is healthy, please remember to follow the school rules; rule-breakers will be punished by means of house point loss and/or detention.
OOC: All SS RPG characters are welcome to attend matches. Please distinguish between multiple characters with differing fonts, colors, etc. Any character RP'd in this thread should be listed in your profile.
Emmylou yawned and watched the match. What was going on? She needed to figure out how to understand this game. She either had to ask Kace or Bart. Emmy knew that she would have to get back on a broom at some point because Bart told her that he was going to get to play Quidditch. Hands? She turned to find her favorite person. Emmylou tried with all of her power to no squeal happily about having her boyfriend sneaking up behind her but she just couldn't.
Emmy grinned. Her blue eyes were pretty much sparkling. "I was hoping to run into you." she grinned more. Emmylou rested her head against his arm and moved her hand over to his and intertwined her fingers with his.
Kace smiled when she intertwined her fingers with his. "I was hoping to run into you too but i am glad we found each other." He was interested in the game. But then he realized Gryffindor lost and they did put up a good fight. He looked down and saw Emmy wasn't interested. He kissed her temple and said softly, "I guess you are not interested in this game are you?"

Hearing her name being called, Lux turned and saw that Kace and Emmy were sitting right behind her. "Hey, guys! How are you doing?" It was so nice to see her friends again, and now they could meet her sister. "This is Willa, she is my big sister." Beam. "I was rooting for my friend, Bay who is in Gryffindor. And Gryffindor in general. Shame they lost, but it's okay!" It still had been a fun match.
Kace smiled and replied, "I am doing well and you?" He wondered how Lux was doing. Any boyfriends yet? Then he was meeting her sister? Oh? She never mentioned her. He held out his hand and greeted Willa. "Hey Willa, I am Kace...Kace Lecium."
He chuckled. "I was rooting for Gryffindor and Slytherin, i know a couple people on both teams." But it was nice Lux was rooting for her friend. This was making him miss quidditch even more. At least he had Emmy here to keep him stable.

Oh, she was Bart's mother! How very convenient.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Maroon," he said amiably, his eyes twinkling. "It honours me to be talked in a good manner, and I have to say, you have such a bright son." He nodded. This was no empty flattery.
"I am, yes. Old Slytherin and all that... May I?" Sit with her? He would like to converse with good old Barty's mother more.
"Ms. it's Ms." she gave a tight smile. She wasn't one to like to correct, but with everything lately being called Mrs was just not going well. Her eyes glanced to the pitch as the match started, " Did you play?" small talk wouldn't be bad through the match right? She watched as Bart took the quaffle and passed it away.
Her eyes did glance to the professor next to her as he commented on her son. "well whatever you are doing with him I greatly appreciate it. Many teachers at his old school did not speak of him so nicely." she was pleasantly surprised to hear someone had taken to him. She saw the bludger and gasped a bit hearing the crack as it made contact to her son, "oh Bart" She bit her lip hoping he was alright. He seemed to be staying on his broom well and he was continuing to play so she let her worry be pushed back.
As slytherin caught the last snitch Vic turned to the professor, "seems your house is very talented, congratulations on the win." She really was very indifferent about the win she was really just there for Bart. Wanting to see if Bart was truly alright she decided to talk to the man some more, "have you taught here long?" she really didn't know much about the teaching staff since she really had no reason to pay attention until this term.

Cheering and waving her Gryffindor flag, Kurumi was glad that she hadn't tossed all of her Hogwarts memorabilia. Granted she had donated some of her clothes - despite her father protesting profusely and insisting that he get to keep her Gryffindor robes. Ultimately, no matter how much cheering, flag waving, or squeezing of Lewis had she did Gryffindor still lost and it brought a frown to her face. She had really wanted them to win and not just because of her house spirit. She had wanted a win for Alice WHO had flown AMAZING, by the way. Pity Selina had been busy today and couldn't come. She would have been so proud.
And...had Ella just confused the name of the Snitch? The dragonologist could understand quaffle and waffle...but the Snitch was unique, no? Or maybe that was only because Kurumi herself had been Seeker for a short time.
Or maybe there was memory problems going on? MERLIN NOT AGAIN!

Probably would make her feel better about not playing, mhm.
Yeah, she'd totally play that card for food. The only time it'd actually be useful.
Oh Penelope! HI! Kurumi gave her another big wave and then removed the jar of cookies from her bag and held it up high. She wouldn't be eating any of these, nor did she really need the jar they were in, so Penelope could take them back to Gryffindor if she wanted to. She wanted to make sure that Alice got some, naturally.

Zeke waved back to her, remembering her from the park. "Can I support them with you though?" he asked, "Unless they play Gryffindor, or Slytherin... then who knows, maybe we can be frenemies?" I then occurred to him that he was perhaps being unfair, "Or what about the Hufflepuffs?" he asked, "Can I support them?" ....
Emily applauded Sltyherin's victory, they played extremely well, with a finesse that could be admired. Though Gryffindor had been unlucky in some instances, robbed of a closer loss really... that was something. She gave Zeke a small smile, but seeing him wave she turned to see who it might be - obviously someone they knew. Scanning the stands, her hazel eyes locked on Vic and she returned a small greeting to her friend in the form of a smile and a nod. She didn't do much waving. "You can," she replied, returning her gaze to Zeke. Though the idea of them being frenemies was an interesting one, and good luck to him, because she was competitive. Wouldn't object to putting a wager on the match, teaching him a life-long lesson in losing.
He didn't even know when the next match would be, but he was already looking forward to it, they'd have to mark it on the calendar when they got home. Zeke knew he wouldn't forget, but he didn't want Emily to have a reason to. There would be no excuses of work or other arrangements, she couldn't plan anything with Gavin, it would be his day and his alone.
That Bennett person from before, Zeke saw him, and as he neared he found himself twisting in his seat to stare at the man. "I diiiddd... did you?" he asked in polite return. Eyes flickering from him to Emily then back again. He remembered what she said about talking to strangers, but if she knew him... then he wasn't reeeeeally a stranger. Right?
Emily refrained from rolling her eyes at Zeke. Had he learnt nothing? ... Merlin. Still, she supposed an introduction would be in order, since both of the males opted to break her invisible vow of silence between the two of them. "Bennett... this is Zeke, Zeke this is Simon Bennett... he works for me." There, introductions done.
Oohhhhh !!!!! Bennett man worked in the underground for the secret law enforcement stuff thing she did! "You work for my Emily? Neeaaaattt."
At least he would have made a complete escape, the boy answering and returning the question in his direction and stopping. Hopefully Emily wouldn't mind the interaction. "Actually I did, " Simon answered truthfully. " Even if it hadn't ended quite how I would have liked." As for the department head's feelings on the matter of the conversation, while not necessarily clear, she had the decency to introduce them so it wasn't all bad.
"Nice to meet you Zeke," he remarked with a smile. "Uh huh I do. And it is very neat," he confirmed adding the last in his choice of words for the boy's benefit. He might not have the most experience around kids but he understood how to be nice to those younger than him. "Enjoy the rest of the day," Simon finished, officially taking his leave from them. Best not to extend his welcome with the pair.

Woops...the young woman had jumped at his approach which certainly hadn't been his intention. "At ease Kurumi," Simon said, offering an appologetic smile. "I'm sorry if I surprised you. A week and a half away? .......
Merlin. She'd need to check her calendar again, though now that she thought about it, it sounded very familiar. It was all coming back to her now. "Oh yes yes yes yes yessss, of course... my err... old age is getting to me," she mused, twirling a grey tendril of hair around her finger. It was rather hideous, and potions just couldn't conceal the abundance of greys. Shame.
"Excited? Nervous?" she asked, curious considering Kurumi was quite composed -- at least, not jumping out of her skin ...
...
Save for the other Lions presence. He looked familiar.

His Emily... she would never tire from hearing that, the way he'd become so possessive of her. It was amusing to say the least, but she was equally possessive of him, which is why she would have more words to him about talking to people he didn't know.
Zeke watched with curious hazel eyes, Bennett -- as he would call him now, wanted Gryffindor to win too? That was pretty cool of him, but Slytherin were cool too. In fact, everything here was cool. "Nice to meet you too, Bennett," he replied, his mind still elsewhere, wandering the grounds. Speaking of... could they go wandering? Could to talk to the quidditch people and get autographs or touch their brooms? Could they go up to the school? Could he visit the sorting hat thingymabob nowwww so he could know where he belonged?... were there dragons?
He was deep in thought to the extent that he completely missed Bennett's farewell.
"Good day," Emily replied, watching Bennett take his leave, effectively leaving her to entertain the nine year old herself. He had that glazed over look again... which could only mean two things. Firstly, that there were questions he was contemplating asking, and secondly, that he wanted an adventure of sorts. Sigh. She ought to beat him at his ow game. "C'mon... we should beat the rush, I'll take you to Hogsmeade."
Blinking away his thoughts, Zeke's gaze snapped back to Emily. Wait... where was Bennett? ... But that didn't matter all that much, because he heard a word that was similar to Hogwarts, but it wasn't. "What's that?" he asked, slipping off his chair and dragging her out of hers. He was ready.
"I'll tell you on the way," Emily replied, draping an arm around his shoulders once she caught up to step with him. They had a decent walk down.
Willa looked from her sister to over that the little kid that she was talking about. Willa looked back out at the pitch. This was boring. Oh, Lux was introducing her to the boy, the twenty-one year old smiles and moved her now blonde hair out of her face. Emmy looked up at Kace and the over to Lux and the random lady. Was that her sister? They did look alike. "Hey." Emmy smiled at Willa.
Kace smiled and asked as a conversation starter. "So have you been to a Hogwarts Match before Willa?" He noticed that she moving her face out of her face. He wondered if she was doing it to impress him. Well it wasn't working because his affection lied with Emmy. She even seemed bored with the match.
Then he turned his attention back on Emmy. He heard her talking and she was interested but the game seemed boring. "Eh it is fine, some people are not into Quidditch games. I am more into the action when i am playing. Did you know i used to be a chaser on the hufflepuff team?" he told her.
Cinnamon walked carefully up the stands with this. The birthday cake that nana had made for her to bring and share with her friends. It looked awesome... and yummy! It was the perfect cake for a birthday party/quidditch match. Especially this match. Once she found a spot for all of them to sit together is sat the cake down on the bench. There it has arrived safety to its destination. She pulled out paper plates, napkins and plastic folks out of her bag and sat them beside the cake.
She grinned, before moving down and sitting on the other side of the cake. She was so excited all of her friends were going to be there, except Bart he was playing today. That was fine though she was saving him a slice. And she was wearing his hoodie the one he had gave her for her birthday.
She could not wait until next term when she would be here. So that way her and her friends could always do fun stuff like this. On the bright side not being a actual student yet she was the first one in the stands today.

Another match and here she was finding her seat again. Victoria moved up the stands looking around. Why did it always seem she got there way too early, but she figured it gave her the chance to get out and being early she could watch the teams warm up. Not that it was exciting, but it gave her something to do from her normal day routines.
As the blonde found her seat she noticed a girl sitting a little way away. Her hoodie she couldn't not think looking awfully familiar, but she assumed all Gryffindor shirts looked similar. Pushing it out of her mind she laid a blanket down to sit on for comfort and took her seat. Maybe she should have seen if Mariel wanted to come with her so she wasn't sitting alone. Though sitting alone hadn't bothered her before, she had gotten use to it and it proved last match you never know who you might meet when sitting by yourself.

A battle of the Lions and the Eagles... was it any wonder the stands were slowly filling? It promised to be a cracker of a game.
Seren hobbled along as quickly as her legs would carry her, the tea she'd had just moments ago providing her with the energy to ascend the stairs, though her journey was made easier by her crisp white and incredibly comfortable tennis shoes. Fancy that, muggle attire was extremely useful in her prematurely old age.
Even in light of their last loss, and the tedium that was the school yeah, this was an exciting occasion, and the hopeful grin could not be removed from her features. The laugh lines that were etched into her face only deepened at her continued delight.
Gosh she loved her Lions.
Sway-dancing along the rows, Seren sat herself down in the prime viewing location and folded her Gryffindor-gloved hands in her lap.
It was game day again! And this time Zeke didn't need prompting or showing around, in fact, he was more than happy to pick out their seats for them and thus bounded off ahead of Emily. He'd accidentally on purpose pitted himself against her by choosing to wear red for the occasion, and forced her to wear blue. It was only right she did. It was her old house the Lions would be playing against. He already had his binoculars out, ready to follow the play as closely as human-wizardly as possible. AND he would be keeping an eye out for Bart, cause he would be playing, right?
"We should place bets," he thought out loud, knowing that Emily would be within range to hear him.
The boy would be his own undoing, she was sure of this. He had been too eager in his getting here that she was surprised he hadn't splinched himself in side-along apparition, or that he wasn't trampled by cutting in front of people, or that he hadn't fell on his face or to his death from racing up the stairs at a pace that wasn't normal for a nine year old. Circe help her.
Her eyes were on him the whole time, so even as he lead the way - quickly - away from her, she didn't lose him. Once he'd picked his spot, right up front, she'd settled by his side, a hint of a smirk on her lips.
"Should we just? ... and what do you have that might tempt me?"

He had seem to have lost his cane somewhere along the way between his office and the stands, but he wasn't toooooo concerned since he had Pebbles with him today. She would make sure that nothing bad happened to him. Hadn't there been a reason why the professor had been reluctant to bring his beloved pet rock to quidditch matches? He plum thunkin couldn't think of the reason why now. Oh well.
Airey made his way slowly up the stairs using the railing and wall and squinted once he reached the top to see where he should sit... "GREAT HORN SPOON! DON'T MOVE SEREN! I'M A COMIN'" he exclaimed when he spotted the Herbology professor. If there was ANYONE he should sit next this match it would be the Gryffindor Head of House, yeah? "Big game today! I hope they do well seeing as this is Miss Fischer's last," he said as he sat down next to the woman, but allowed enough room for Pebbles to sit between them.
Rummaging through his pockets and discarding some of the lint he found, he pulled out a few butterscotch candies and began to unwrap one of them. "Fancy a candy? They are dadgum delicious."

Her hearing was shoddy, there was no doubting that. But for whatever reason, that was one voice she heard loud and clear .... though she couldn't tell where it was coming from. Head swivelling, Seren scanned the crowd that was forming, her squinty eyes not making matters any easier, but alas, here he was! "Airey!" she greeted with enthusiasm, shuffling in her seat to make sure he had room - for Pebbles. "Huge game, tremendous game... I think no matter the outcome, I'll cry." Consider this his warning, she was an emotional wreck. Up and down, up and down!
His rummaging was only mildly distracting, but her eyes were on the pitch, waiting in anticipation for movement from colourful robed people. There was no hope in her actually being able to see properly, so she hoped the commentators would be up to the task of keeping her informed this match. And oohhh candy! "You know... I've lost my sweet tooth, but I could go a humbug... whatchu got there?" she eyed the candy in his hand suspiciously. It didn't look like a humbug from where she sat.
What did he have to tempt her? ...................................... Uuuhhhhhh.
"I'll do the shopping, the cooking or the cleaning?" he offered, unsure of what she might actually want. Emily had a habit of not being easy to please. It annoyed him at the best of times.
Emily contemplated his offer, her lips pursed in thought as she continued to stare forward-facing. "Hhhmmmmmmm...." she mused out loud, "I'm listening, but what would you want on the off chance Gryffindor win?" She assumed the boy would be betting for the Lions to win, considering he'd made it clear his loyalties did not mirror hers.

It had taken her ages but Ella finally made it up into the stands, loaded with charms and potions to make her look more normal than she was currently feeling. The eighteen going on eighty year old was exhausted by this point and she huffed and puffed her way towards a seat in the middle, not really cheering for either team. Actually, the reason she was here was to support Hulk. Her last match and all, y'know? Probably not forever given how great she was but still. The thought made her sad. It also made her think of her own last match that was fast approaching. Hers had a more permanent result and she-...probably shouldn't be dwelling on it. This was supposed to be fun.
"Hey Professors," She greeted as cheerfully as she could, giving Bentley and Airey tired smiles and a little wave. Then the Head Girl settled down, pulled out her package of tissues, and let her eyes fall on the pitch. They'd be starting soon, yeah?

It was very much possible that not a stitch of visible clothing that she had on was in support of her own house, who was also playing today, and instead very much dedicated to her best friend's house. Because it was the last match of the year, and she couldn't not miss it OR take advantage of wearing so much red on a game day.
Because, really. When was Isidora ever going to be cheering for the lions again?
The sixth year made her way up the stands and decidedly moved away from the older-than-normal-yet-still-obnoxiously-loud professors, choosing to sit on the far side of Ella. "What are the tissues for?"

Quidditch was the main reason why he had decided to get out of bed today.
Having been in bed with the fever and a cold for what felt like an eternity, Alec made his way towards the Stands because Quidditch was that important. His future was going to be filled with it. This wasn't even a Hufflepuff game but the boy still thought he needed to be here. Moral support, you know? He had a best mate and a pseudo sister and a Hulk and a Prefect Punny to cheer on.
The eighteen year old wrapped his small blanket tighter around his shoulders with his free hand before climbing up the steps of the Stands. Climb... climb... and try not to touch or go near anyone in the process. He wasn't going to get anyone else sick. No. Not happening. This might explain why he had tried to get here early when, hopefully, the Stands weren't full. Then he could watch, cheer and get back to his dorm without infecting anyone. This plan had been formed by yours truly.
... Except... there were people here already. Had he taken that long or...? Alec let a small smile flit across his face as he waved at the two Professors, Kace, Ells and Dora and...
... went to sit by them. "Hey, you two! They haven't started, right?" he asked, placing his flask of chicken soup down on his lap.

I'm no good with those," he said rather bluntly, eyes still on the candy. "They give me anxiety gas." Among other things, but that was what the diapers were for.
"It's no humbug. Butterscotch candy. Never liked these much in my youth, but recently the flavor has become accustomed to my palate," he said as he passed her one before catching Miss Ella's greeting. "Hello, Miss Ella," he smiled back as a mischievous smile tugged at his lips. "Pull my finger?"

Arriving back at Hogwarts, Kurumi RASTING (!!!) made her way to the stands and....once again found herself confused as to whether or not she was in the right place. She remembered the Daily Prophet article about all the aging...and had heard a thing or two from her friends still here - not to mention the appearance of half of the guests at the wedding - but it was still...odd.
So, since she didn't recognize anyone, she made her way towards her old seat and promptly sat down. Crossing one leg behind the other in a lady-like manner and pulled a large poster out, unrolled it, and hung it over the edge of the stands to make sure that the players on the pitch could see it.
More importantly...could ALICE see it?
Merlin it was weird knowing that Alice was graduating this term. Kurumi had known her as a first year. Where had all those years gone?!
And was Selina coming? She could really use some company. That she recognized.

So this was it the last quidditch match that Asher Would ever see as a student sure he would probably come back and see people over the next few years. He had other family that would be coming to Hogwarts in the coming years. So yeah I'd be back.
Once he finally got to the stands, he looked around for a place to sit. Was that Cinnamon? He couldn't tell she was wayyyyyyyy over there. He didn't feel like walking that far to see if it was her.
There was Ariey and Bentley he grinned as he walked by. Giving them a wave followed by a "Good morning, professors."
Just a shortly down the stands he seen Ella and Dora. He smiled and waved at the two of them. He went up to the row of seats behind them and sit directly behind them. "Hey, girls! How are you, ladies?" and Alec was there too. "Bro, what's up, man? fist bump, yeah? It's been to long.

Seren blinked away her surprise. "Uhh huh... I'll do my best not to offend or make you feel ill at ease then, but by all means, feel free to turn the other cheek," she chuckled at her own joke, her laugh lines only increasing in their depth. It was a good one, was it not?
Butterscotch hhmmm? "Aaaahh, I can't say I've had much experience with them," she mused, her hand lingering above his, contemplating accepting one, her fingers teasing like spiders dangling from a web, and SNAG! ..."Thank you," he added, already working at unwrapping it before popping it into her mouth, the candy slipping into the side of her cheek pocket.
"Hullooo Ella dear," she mumbled with her mouth of butterscotch lolly. She rolled her eyes at Airey's comment before slapping his arm gently. He should know better than to play into stereotypes. "That's such a grandfather joke."
And oohhh, there was an Asher! .. "Mr. Romalotti, good to see you."
He wasn't sure if they were getting somewhere or not, she hadn't said yes, but she hadn't said no... so there was hope? Yes. Hope. "Mmmmm... I wanna come to work with you, or at least get a day off school." Yep, see, he was being reasonable. It was only fair, right?
"So, we got a deal? Or you scared?" he asked, subtly as he possibly could antagonising her.
.....
He was still keen on visiting her work? She supposed she could indulge him, he said nothing about going with her during work hours, so it could be easily worked in her favour. "Sure... if the Lions win, I'll show you my work, but if the Eagles win, then... you'll be responsible for cleaning the kitchen and bathroom with no magic to help." Could he handle that?

Pull my finger? Ella raised her eyebrows slightly and then looked down at Airey's hand thoughtfully then over to Bentley and then back down at his hand. She knew he was only joking but the eighteen year old couldn't help but think of the worst case scenario given her luck this term. "I shouldn't, Sir. Might break it or something. Delicate bones and all." Did he remember what happened to his back? Did he? She did. She smiled and then looked back out at the pitch. No, no finger pulling today. Sorry, Sir.
Then there as a Dora. Ella glanced down at the tissues and then over at the Ravenclaw, shrugging. "My eyes have been leaking a lot lately. It's the weirdest thing." Maybe it was because old age was making her extremely emotional over the littlest things or because the more time that went on, the less she believed she was going to get better. Whatever the case, tearing up happened more frequently these days. "Nice hat." Rawr and all that. Ella approved.
Was that..someone waving at them? Ella adjusted her glasses and was surprised to see a sick looking Alec coming their way. She didn't even know what to think about this considering she hadn't seen him in...a while. Had no idea why either but apparently he'd been sick. Apparently. "Haven't started yet," She said softly when he joined them, eyes still on the pitch.
She was thinking of what else to say to the boyfriend person when Asher sat down behind them and greeted the group cheerfully. The blonde turned in her seat and gave him a smile. "Hey. Good and you?"

"Whoops. Sorry about that," he said as he waved his hand about to try and dismiss the odor. At least Pebbles didn't seem upset by the smell. Nothing another butterscotch candy couldn't fix though!
Finally unwrapping his own candy, the astronomer popped it into his mouth and then began to unwrap another one to set in front of Pebbles for her to lick at should she so desire.
"Break? My finger? I doubt you would do that, but if you are sure..." And party pooper Seren was trying to rain on his parade. Don't rain on my parade! He felt like singing that, but honestly couldn't remember the rest of the words, so he refrained. "Butterscotch candy? You don't even have to pull my finger to get one. One for you as well, Mr. Ravioli?"

"Your eyes are LEAKING?" Dora questioned with a bemused expression, inspecting the girl's eyes as if she didn't believe her. This aging this was really starting to get out of control, wasn't it? "Thanks," She tugged at it absently, a small smile twitching at the corners of her lips. "It's Alice's."
Oh, look it was Alec.
"Hey. No it's not started, but I should probably go. Commentating today." Other reason she'd shown up today. But unlike last time she wasn't seemingly impartial in her attire. Standing she looked over when someone else was joining the small group, and winked when she saw it was Asher. "I'm doing great, about to do my job or whatever." Unpaid like her prefect position, but whatever. "Catch you guys later." She waved and departed the group with a small smile.
Merlin, she was going to miss them too, wasn't she?
Every damn one.
Sigh.
Dora finally made her way over to the commentator's box, patting her bag so that her jarvey could emerge from it's depths and find his way to her shoulders before she settled down. She really didn't need him out with all the old students and professors since he'd gotten creative with his insults, impressively so, but she also wasn't going to deny him watching Alice's last match as a Hogwarts student. She just wasn't going to think of it like that though. It was just too depressing, and just no. Nope.
Absently she lightly stroked the red captain badge pinned to her chest in place of her prefect one, turning her hazel-greens away from the growing crowd and towards the pitch once she spotted the first few players flying out. Dora pulled the microphone closer to her, clearing her voice before speaking. "Greetings all who have the pleasure of attending the match on such a beautiful day with this shining sun and light breeze. Today playing we have the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw house. Leading the lions we have the notorious biting captain and MY best friend Alice Fischer as chaser. Tag Kildare and Bartholomew Maroon are taking up the positions of beater. Which leaves prefect Alexa Cambridge as keeper, and seeking for them today is Victor Bay." She paused for a moment to let the cheering die down a bit before continuing. "And with the Ravenclaws we have Marcus Orion and his once fabulous head of hair chasing with Lily Potter and little Sophie Brown. The two beaters for the 'Claws are Benjy Barton, and Josette Edayson. Brynn Rhys-Davies is in the goals today as keeper, and Vesperrr Bayliss is seeking today. Looks like it's sure to be an exciting match."
She paused again, part to let the crowd cheer and also to look for her co-commentator. Where was she? Anyway. Back to the mic. "And that's the whistle! Not sounding too great, but that's not why we're hear. Look at those players go!" And she did. She looked.

Seren blinked some more. He... farted. Merlin help her. She held back her breath, hoping he'd waft his scent away in time for her to breathe again, she wasn't much liking the idea of holding her breath much longer. She just didn't have the energy for it. "... charming, Flamsteed," she noted.
And ooooohhh!
The whistle. The game was starting! Seren listened to Prefect Whats-her-face's commentary, but all she was seeing was blurry shapes and colours. Nothing remotely useful.
"C'mon Lions!" she cheered, Alice, where was Alice? Was that one her? Or that one? Or that one? ......... gosh she missed her eyesight. Then there was that unmistakable dinging noise..
"DID WE SCORE?!" she asked, almost rising to her feet, cept her knees wouldn't allow it.
"Deal!" he exclaimed, his pinky finger already wrapping around hers without her consent. It was done. Yep. Now all he had to do was cross his fingers, toes and hair and see the Lions WIN.
"C'MOOOOONNNN GRYFFINDORRRRRRR!" he cheered, watching eagerly as the game got underway. And looooooook! Was that Bart?! And them ladies were fierce. That keeper girl, and the chaser girl. Lookit them gooooooo. Okay, keeper girl wasn't gooooooing much of anywhere, but still.
Emily didn't evven bother resisting his finger invasion, she accepted it for what it was, her eyes following play, a comfortable smile on her lips as she enjoyed the moment Ravenclaw scored their first. "... and if I recall, the bathroom is looking rather unkempt today," she added conversationally, hinting at his punishment for forcing bets he couldn't win on her.

Penelope hadn't expected to commentate any matches this term, but now, at the last minute, she was. Which was okay with her, at least it let her sort of participate a little more in the game instead of just watching. That still felt weird, honestly, even though she'd had the whole term to get used to it.
She'd made her way up to the commentator box just in time for the match to start. And Dora was her co-commentator. Nice.
Once the rosters were announced and the whistle blown, she figured that meant it was her turn. "And the Chasers are fighting hard for that Quaffle! Can't tell who- oh, Sophie Brown's got it! She races down the pitch and tosses it to Potter who makes another quick toss to Branxton before Fischer can get to her. He's at the goals - shoots - scores! Ten points to Ravenclaw!" Meh.
"Cambridge quickly throws the quaffle back into play for her Captain. She takes off instantly, dodging all the Claw Chasers and approaching the other end to shoot - and - nope, shot blocked. Score stays the same." It was okay though, the match had only just started.
And it was Dora's turn now.

It seemed that this term was taking a rather busy turn but Callie decided she would try to make it down from her tower to come watch her Eagles play some Quidditch. She would have just skipped it because of her frailness as of late and the fact that her legs always hurt.
She'd gotten over the initial shock of her changed appearance, mostly because others were experiencing the same thing, but the grey hair replacing her original sun-kissed blonde was what did it the most. With that paired with her wrinkling face and hands the Divination professor had vowed to stay away from Diagon Alley so that no one would mistake her for that hag that prowls around.
"Goooo---umm, Eagles! YES, GO EAGLES!" She said cupping her hands and trying to shout over the loud crowds as her students scored a couple of goals and blocked a shot by the Lions.
Oh look, there was Seren and Airey. "Hello guys, mind if I join?" She asked the Astronomy and Herbology Professors. She had always enjoyed the friendly competition during matches with Seren. The former blonde hobbled up the stands as best as she could, the snap, crackle and pop of joints accompanying the usual jingle of bangles.

He heard her! He heard herrrr! ... and them were fighting words. He didn't respond, nor did he turn to look at her. That would be playing into her hand, and he wouldn't let himself do that. Nope. No, he was going to watch the game, and because he was watching so intently with such emotion, he'd do that accidental magic mumbo-jumbo and then Gryffindor would score lots of goals and hit lots of bludgers and catch snitches and stuff ... not that they couldn't without him, but it was better with him. Clearly. It was legitimate logic.
"GRYFFINDOR! GRYFFINDOR! GRYFFINDOR!" he cheered, spying Emily out of the corner of his eye. Was she not going to cheer for Ravenclaw? Or did she really not care all that much anymore? ...
He was persistent, she'd give him credit for that. Most definitely dogmatic. Still, she could appreciate the match as much as the next person and so she watched, somehow resisting the urge to feel nostalgic given the circumstances. It had been so long since she played. In fact, the last she played was their Championship win. Emily applauded Ravenclaw's efforts, her lips sealed. Loud cheering, wasn't her style anymore.
Seren was perhaps a little confused still, but the comentary was clearing things up for her and had answered her previous question. No, they had not scored, it was Ravenclaw's lucky shot that time. That time. "C'mooooon Lions! You can do itttt!" she cheered, waving her Gryffindor gloves in the air. And oohh! "Callie," she beamed. "Of course you may, sit sit sit..." she said, patting the seat beside her. "I can't see much, nor hear much, but from what I gather the Eagles are doing well."
