”Yes, Lewis! Isn’t his hair lovely.” Okay, she might be swooning a little bit but only for his hair. And maybe one other thing but SHHH. That was all Kurumi’s fault.”Think Sir Treyen will show?” Because yes, she was thinking that too.
The thing about watching matches while your brain was sort of fuzzy was that you really didn’t know what was happening exactly but you were still super excited. QUIDDITCH! It just seemed to have that effect on people. Ella played with her pearls and thought on that, a stupid smile playing on her lips. The only thing she’d change is this weather, still ominous and still unpleasant. Tag would have probably created a rainbow by now with his Leprechaun powers if he hadn’t been hit. Silly Quidditchers. Don’t anger the leprechaun. She just thanked Merlin she’d worn a hat or who knows what her hair would be like! Shudder! Scary to think about.
Her turn with the mic? Big smile for the boyfriend as she stole it away. Hiiii boyfriend.“It seems like Kinsley and Fischer are having a bit of a standoff today. Theo is sending looks her way as he retrieves the quaffle and sends it back into play. Be nice, you two. You have one very lovely haired thing in common and we’re sure he wants you to keep the peace. Just saying. Anyway, the pass is caught by the snake with the face and he passes it off to Newell. He’s fast, that kid. Good on him! Newell sends it along to Odessa who’s nearing the posts. His eyes never leave Cambridge’s as he fakes left and shoots right. The Gryffindor’s fingers just miss the quaffle as it sails past her reach. SCORE!” Thumbs up to whoever was paying attention to her. “And WHAT’S THAT! It’s the golden thingermabob! THE SNEETCH!” PAUSE. “No, the SNITCH! YES! Bay seems to have spotted it just before Ferrier and has started his chase that much sooner. He’s dangerously close to the stands now, tongue poking out between his teeth as he reacheeeeees for the golden ball…” SQUEAK! “HE CAUGHT THE SNITCH! YEEHAW!” Awkward. “He likes Westerns, folks! Let’s all give him a good YEEHAW for that one. 90-70 Snakes!” Close game was so close. “It’s a nail biter, folks! But…not literally. Don’t do that. It’s disgusting.” Plus it ruined pretty nails.
“And Cambridge is throwing in the quaffle again. Merlin, this is an exhausting sport. I don’t know how I manage it.” Dramatic sigh. “Walker catches the pass and heads up the pitch, working with Bert to play keep away from some Snake people. I..is that the little one? I can’t tell. My eyes aren’t what they used to be. Anyway, Captain Fischer is making grabby hands for the quaffle and Bert sends it her way, such a good sharer! Fischer smirks slightly and locks eyes with Kinsley as she shoots. His eyes go wide as he dives for the quaffle but it’s too late! GRYFFINDOR SCORES! Score is now 90-80 slytherin!”

Had that big scrapbook project to maintain and stat sheets to update.
Her violet eyes met his green ones and she bit down hard on her lower lip. "Nothing good," she whispered back. This was going to be really hard to enjoy the match now. Her arm coiled around his, bringing her body against his now as if hoping that Lewis could protect from whatever it was that was going on. She might still be wearing some of her dragonhide clothing, but the weird things at Hogwarts had a way of getting through even the thickest of skin.
Oh, it WAS Professor Bentley. She glanced back at Lewis again, her face neutral while her eyes reflected something completely different. "Good," she smiled, giving Lewis' arm a squeeze as she did. "Everything is set now....will you....still be able to make it?" Because...clearly circumstances were very different now. Was she even allowed to travel?
Seeing as the match had started already, Kurumi eyed the open seats near her former Head of House and gave a quick nod of her head towards them. Here was okay, right? Uncoiling her arm first, she slid into the seat beside Professor Bentley and tugged on Lewis' hand to sit down on her other side. This now gave her the opportunity to take a look around and see, hear rather, that Alec and Ella where the ones commentating. Or...that WAS them, right?
She looked over her shoulder at Lewis again. "Why do they look older than us?" she whispered before turning her attention back towards the commentating pair and waving at them. I HAVE COOKIES! she mouthed so as not to interrupt them. And just in time to miss the first snitch of the game.....grabbed by Slytherin. BOO! She couldn't even cheer properly for the Gryffindor Seeker because she had no clue who he was and shouting the name of someone you didn't know just felt....weird.
Her eyes wandered a bit more in her disappointment and spotted Simon...who didn't look ancient. She waved timidly at him before returning her attention to the pitch...only to find once again that she found someone she knew. THAT GUY! CAM'S GUY!
WHY WAS HE HERE BUT SHE WASN'T?! More disappointment. Sigh.
She would just wave her Gryffindor flag halfheartedly for the time being.
Maybe Alice would bite someone and make things more interesting.
Everything was set? "Well you didn't waste much time," she managed a chuckle, pleased things were looking up for her former Prefect. Especially after all that business with losing her mother... so sad.
Her hearing wasn't what it used to be, but she was still able to pick up on the hesitency in Kurumi's question. "Of course... I wouldn't miss it for the world." As if that was ever in question.
Seren had been listening out for the commentators, because Merlin knew they were loud enough, and it pleased her to hear her Lions were fighting back. She'd all but given up on trying to watch the blurred colours flit about, she couldn't make sense of any of it.
"Keep at it Lions!" she encouraged, her voice feeble.
----------------
Alright, maybe he spoke toooooo soon. The Lions were fierce too. And that chaser of theirs was on fiiireeeee.. not in the literal sense thank goodness. "Eeerr... think you're right," he said, turning to park himself next to Emily. "I think I will support both." Because who knew deciding between red and green would be so hard? Snakes were sneaky, but Lions had fight.
With the scores leveling out and both with snitch captures, it was still anybodies game.
And wooooahhh! Lookit them beaters with them bludgers! Gryffindor were still maybe his favourites.. maybe. At the other end of the pitch he watched to see if the Snakes would score, perhaps making him change his mind again but to his surprise, nope. Lady keeper was fierce tooooo!
"Go Go Gryffindor!" he cheered simply because he could.
She noticed he wasn't bouncing with much enthusiasm anymore, but she didn't think he'd return to his seat - he was still short, so standing had its advantages for him if he wanted to watch. Still, she wouldn't complain about the company. "Of course I'm right... just wait, next I'll bring you to a Ravenclaw game." She nodded solemnly, because she was more than happy to introduce her to the blue and bronze way of life.

"Yeah... yeah, it is. He's always had great hair." Right? Yeah. Was that... Ku... Ku... someone whose name he couldn't quite remember. Lewis's Lady. Grinning, he waved back at her. She was nice, wasn't she? He also didn't pick up on whatever it was she had mouthed so... he was trusting Ella to do so. Yeah.
LOOK! Victor Bay had caught a Snitch! AWESOME job. Claps were being given to you, Bay. Well done!
... He didn't know the boy. Shame.
Moving on? Alec tugged the mic back towards him. "And... Kinsley puts the Quaffle back into pla--" CRACK! "OUCH! Atreyu whacked a Bludger over towards Kinsley, just as the Slytherin passed the Quaffle off towards West Odessa. A bludger to the arm. That has got to hurt! Shake it off, Theo!"
"West zooms off, Quaffle in hand. He swoops past Maroon, who tries to block his way, and again past Walker, who was trying to nab at the Quaffle, before passing it off to Newell who was waiting over there. Can Newell pull it off again?" Can he? CAN HE?
"Cambridge looks like she's breathing fire over at the other end of the pitch. Newell nears her... she hovers in the air... he shoots... and... Cambridge spins around on her broom and WHACKS the Quaffle away with the tailend! WHAT A BLOCK! Awesome job, Candy!" So proud. So very prou--
CRACK!
... BLINK. BLINK.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! CAMBRIDGE! NO NO NO! WHAT?! DID NOBODY HEAR MY WARNING?" Breathe... breathe... "That was Adelaide Abrams, making up for the Bludger miss before by making a, I have to say, brilliant thwack at the Bludger towards Keeper Cambridge. Her Bludger hits the Gryffindor's shoulder, which looks like it hurt too. Brutal game!" And there was head shaking. And he was not pleased.
"The Quaffle was caught by Maroon... who passes it off very quickly to Walker, just as Stark swoops in on the former. Looking scary there, Stark. Walker flies off toward Fischer, who was waiting for him over at the other end. He passes, she catches and zooms off towards Kinsley, grinding her teeth menacingly." Scary girl was scary. "Kinsley tries not to let this get to him -- good idea. Fischer shoots... Kinsley dives towards the left hoop... but it doesn't seem to be enough. The Quaffle sails through the hoop, making the score 80-80!"

Yes, Summers, she saw what Kurumi was mouthing. Glasses, remember? “She says cookies! She’s got cookies!” BEAM! “I wish we had tea.” SIGHHHHH.
And hot tea made her think of how she was feeling right this moment. She was a bit cold now. Hugging her arms across her chest, the eighteen year old shivered slightly, eyes on the pitch. Hot chocolate after this? That sounded lovely. Yes, that was the plan. It also seemed to be the plan of the lions to slowly chip away at the snake lead until they were on top. Smart, they were. And doing an impressive job! This match was definitely an exciting one.
“Merlin, the bludgers are a-flying today, you guys! Lots of ice packs after the game, okay? Ella’s orders.” And her word was law…or something. “A sore-looking Kinsley tosses the quaffle back into play and Face-man Stark catches it effortlessly. Shake it off, Theoman! And you beaters stop picking on our friends! Merlin! Anyway, Stark works with Odessa to carry it up the pitch, avoiding the angry lions who aren’t giving them much room for error. They don’t seem to mind, though. Odessa spots an eager looking Newell and makes a clean quaffle pass to him. The younger snake looks determined as he shoots…AND HE SCORES! Nicely done, Slytherin!” What was the score again? Umm…. “And I can’t be sure about the numbers at this moment, folks, but I believe someone is now beating someone else by a small amount. This isn’t over by a long shot!”
Long shot. Quidditch. Heh. Funny.
“But back to the match! Cambridge tosses in the quaffle and appears to be grumbling something about chompers. Is she hoping Alice will start biting soon? I can’t be sure but it sure would definitely change the tone of this already aggressive matchup! The beaters are keeping their eye out for a bludger to whack and Merlin, it's getting a bit scary out there! Be careful, you lot! Walker makes the catch and seems to have an open lane so he takes it, zooming down the pitch with the wind in his hair. He just barely dodges Atreyu and Merivel who came out of no where, bats swinging. Thank goodness he's fast. Nice hair, Walker, by the way..." Ella approves. "Here he is with the shot but...THEODORE KINSELY MAKES A BEAUTIFUL SAVE!" BEAMS for Theo! "Looks like that bludger hit couldn't stop his skills. But OUCH, looks like that Bert kid took a bludger to the knee. I think I heard the crack all the way from here! That red headed Snake is to blame!" WINCE! "AND LOOK! In all the madness, Ferrier and Bay have stealthily located the snitch! It's a mad dash as the little ball heads away from them and it looks like-No it's--No--FERRIER WITH THE SNITCH!" BREATHEEEEE! "140-70, slytherin!!!"

This match was close, so close that Dora gaze was only focused on the pitch, and her ears still a little on the commentators. The whole thing with Alice and Theo was amusing, now that she could enjoy it, but a little bittersweet too since she used to be one of those things they both cared for.
Eh, whatever. She had no regrets there.
But that second snitch catch, and Slytherin in the lead. For once she wondered if she actually wanted them to win, because she didn't stand and cheer, though they did get claps.

Javy was still sitting in the stands. Especially now as his bones seem to have been resisting other temptations, really. But hey, it was a free game and watching was very different from playing. Plus he was needing the Vitamin D or whatever nutrients the outdoors usually provided.
Anyways.. the game was quite lively. After a moment of squinting at the blurred ant-sized fliers, he gave in to donning his glasses on. Much better. Oh? Slytherin was a snitch away from winning.

Emmy looked around, she wanted to get all dressed up and wear a beautiful dress and some heels because she was just so short but she was pretty sure that she had grown and inch or two since her and Kace started dating. But anywho, Emmy had a a heeled boot so she was like three or four inches taller than she normally was. Emmy shrugged and took a seat, she looked around and wondered where all her friends were.
Adeline couldn't remember where she had put Asher's Slytherin jacket but she didn't find her green and white sweater and she thought hey that would be good enough for her but she still wanted to know where the jacket was. Adeline walked along the stands and found an empty spot to sit. The seventh year was so, so, so excited about this. She was of course going to root for Slytherin. How could you not root for Slytherin?
Willa wanted to surprise her sister, to bad these Quidditch players weren't around her age. Willa had a feeling something strange was going on with this school because she had to send her little sisters friend some wrinkle cream and something else. Willa strutted along the stands in her pink high heels. Willa knew it was a little breezy but she wanted to wear a skirt anyway. Willa mostly just wanted to look amazing, fashion is a lifestyle and who cares if you're cold. Willa was used to the cold she lived in Canada nearly all her life so this wasn't going to bother her.
Lux was so excited when she had found that her sister had come to the match in order to see her. After giving Willa a hug, she sat down to watch the game. Of course she was here to root for Bay Gryffindor; her clothing was red themed. As the game proceeded, she cheered and booed depending on who had scored. And of course she had been happy when Bay had managed to catch a Snitch.
It was such a lovely game, even though Gryffindor wasn't winning. "Willa, do you have to leave after this?" Even though she knew the answer, she wanted her sister to stay.

It was a good thing that Ells had her glasses. Cookies? "Awesome! I hope they're sugar free." Or with just that small amount of chocolate that Airey said was good for... brains. ... Right? Good for brains?
Shrug.
And... "You feeling cold?" Because he hadn't missed that shivering thing going on. "Erm... here. Hold on." He took off his shirt and wrapped it around her shoulders. ... It... probably wasn't much but it was something, right? Right. Yeah. And hot chocolate was definitely needed for later.
Right now... "Kinsley puts the Quaffle back into play. His pass is caught by Caleb Newell who... I... wait, wasn't he at the other end of the pitch? What's he doing down there?" BLINK. ... Shaking his head, he continued, "Newell's good, you know. I mean... look at him flying off towards Cambridge on the other end. The other two, older Slytherins are flying after him, making the three almost form an arrowhead in the air. Teamwork, guys. Teamwork!"
"They break ranks... West flies off towards the goalposts while Stark seems to try and use his looks to distract the ladies. ... Or... just trying to make sure nobody attacked Newell while he passes the Quaffle off towards Odessa. Odessa doesn't have to do more than lean up a little to catch it -- tall boy is TALL! -- before heading off to face Cambridge by the goalposts. He shoots... HE SCORES! That's 70-150 to Slyther--"
... This game was FAST!
"No time to wait and take a rest since Cambridge passes the Quaffle off to Maroon before you can say the word 'Quidditch'. He catches it, wincing as he does so," Poor dude. "... before flying off. Is he okay? Dude, do you need an ice pack? ... Anyways... he passes it off to Walker, who seemed ready to take over from his injured teammate. Walker flies off, avoiding a still distracting Stark as he does so. Newell tries to fly after Walker just as the Gryffindor passes the Quaffle off to his Captain. Newell flies after her instead. Be careful, Caleb! She's known to bite... ... and take away people's hair."
He cleared his throat.
"Fischer enters the scoring area, aims and... ... IT'S A BLOCK BY THE SLYTHERIN KEEPER! Score stands at 70-150 to Slytherin, folks!"

It wasn't clear how... or why... but the scoreboard was slowly but surely blowing out of proportion again, and right after the Lions had done so well in clawing back. Still, Seren applauded their efforts, a smile fixed to her face as she tried to enjoy the game. She was proud of them no matter the outcome.
But Mer---lin!......... she did not like this bludger business at all. Was Cambridge alright?! And Bart... was he alright too?! They were her CUBS! Dammit!
"Dirty Snakess..." she mumbled under her breath.
--------------
Heh. Yeah. Quidditch was awweeeesooommeee. "Really? We can come again?" He wasn't sure why he was asking, he didn't want to give her the opportunity to change her mind, so instead he quickly continued with the line of thought. "Cause that'd be awesomeeeee... and, we'd have to support Ravenclaw, wouldn't we? Cause you were one.. and I might be one," he mused out loud. Is that how it worked? He'd be what she was? She'd mentioned stuff about a hat before, but he still didn't geddit. HOW could a hat tell you what was inside you.. like, in your head and stuff??? It made no sense, even for magic.
Emily nod her head, yes, she'd said it didn't she? Truth be told, this was perhaps a better use of their time together than him dragging her around the shops. Far cheaper too. Though there were still plenty of other places he wanted to see, or that he'd need to see at some point. His views on the sorting process were an interesting one, and had he been her biological son, then there might have been a greater chance of him being an Eagle. As it was, neither of them would know until the day came, and that was still some time away. If she even trusted the school to look after her sons welfare, let alone his education. Durmstrang was looking like a safer option. "I will be, but you're free to support whoever you like... you're not a Ravenclaw, yet, so no point putting your eggs in the nest if it's not to be."

Sugar free cookies? “I…yeah, me too.” Probably a good idea to stay healthy. It’d help them live that much longer, y’know? And n’aww, Alec was giving her his shirt? ”You’ll catch cold, y’know.” Concerned looks for you, boyfriend.
“And we’re back. A slightly more cheerful looking Kinsley spots someon-is that Newell? Yes, it is! He tosses the quaffle to him and the snake takes off down the pitch, accompanied by his fellow chasers. The lions aren’t making it easy for them, though. There’s some definite shoving going on and is…someone growling? UH-OH. You’ve angered the lions, snakes, and you’re going to hear them roar!” Ohhh-oh-oh-oh. “And the beaters are on the prowl. Oh Merlin, and that red headed snake is at it again with her bat!” WINCE! “And it strikes Captain Fischer in the arm! OUCH! She gnashes her teeth as she turns in the direction of the fierce she-snake and it’s not a good sight to see, you guys! She’s going after Adelaide! SHE’S CLOSE… Oh and the chasers are coming up on the posts now, Cambridge looking more ferocious than ever as she seems to try and anticipate where the shot will go. Newell isn’t bothered as he locks eyes with her and then he shoots—“ Was that the snitch too? TOO MUCH! GAH! “And the seekers have spotted the snitch as Newell’s shot goes through the hoop! Nicely done but WHO CARES cause the snitch race is on! AND as Fischer bites down on the red head beater’s arm, Ferrier can be seen thrusting her fist in the air. Did she—SHE DID IT, FOLKS! SHE CAUGHT THE SNITCH!” She was going to die. Her heart was pounding too fast. Was that a bright light?! "And the Snakes take this one, Hogwartians! 210-60! It was a hard fought battle on both sides! Now go in and warm up, everyone! Blankets and tea!" That's what she'd be doing, anyway. "Oh and someone check Alice's teeth to make sure they're still in her head, okay? Old teeth sometimes fall out!" Any dentists in the house? No? Anyone?
Andddddd they were done!
Ella looked over at Alec, hand over her heart. It was still racing. "Nicely done, boyfriend." Mini!beam. "Can we go inside and get warm, now? OH! Or get cookies. Cookies then warmth." She'd decided. And so she took Alec's hand and hoisted him up as best she could...which was not helpful at all but she'd tried. They had cookies to get.

Olly sat up way too quickly to glare at the person. Whoa, okaay, why was the pitch spinning? She blinked a couple of times, ignoring the pain in her back for now, to get rid of the feeling of vertigo. Were the little black spots Quidditch players or just a sign that she was going to faint?
Turns out, it was the former. Thank Merlin.
Still, after a few seconds she remembered WHY she'd woken up in the first place. And turned to glare at the person next to her. "What are you doing??" Or WERE you doing rather. And why. Who was this person? And where was she?
Right. Ella and Alec's voices reminded her. The Quidditch Pitch. For the match. Yes, good. And the match had started. And Alice was scoring. Against Theo. Good. Okay, paying attention now. Yes. Olly sat upright again, draping the blanket around her shoulders. Ah better. Also the woman next to her got another glare. Just because.
Oh, well, if she was going to be rude about it. "You just looked like you needed a pillow." she said, cocking an eyebrow. ... ... Though actually she'd probably be a bit annoyed if she woke up looking like that. Not that that was Aurora's fault.
...
After shooting a cold look at the old looking... person, Aurora looked back to the pitch. No way was some strange woman going to ruin her enjoyment of this game.

WOW! That was BRILLIANT!!! "WOOOOO!!" Aurora was already yelling herself hoarse. "GO THEODORE!!!! YAY WEST!!!" ... She didn't actually know the rest of the Slytherin team... but... eh. She was still happy they won.

Apparently she did want Gryffindor to win, which was a new feeling to her because usually she stayed neutral for these matches, and was a bit disappointed when the final snitch was caught by Derry. Not so disappointed that she wasn't slightly amused by Ella's comment about old teeth falling out. Would Alice's fall out? That would be a shame if so. The older girl was very much proud of them.
But that was the consequence for chasing down Adelaide and biting her in the arm. Not that Dora minded.
She quite enjoyed that part of the match.

He walked in the stands a little slowly for the four people to see his house pride and to let him survey the area to pick the spot he would sit.
There was a stranger there. His eyes narrowed. A female stranger in Gryffindor colours, and he was sure she wasn't a BoG member, so that meant only one thing: she was a parent.
Walking in long strides towards the said parent, he smiled his best smile and offered his hand for her to shake.
"Hello madam, I'm Professor Cosgrach Culloden. You are a parent, I presume?" Whose parent, at that?
Well this weather was about as nice as her mood had been lately. The mist and cold wasn't something she wanted to sit in, but her son was playing and since she was not feeling like the best mum lately it was the least she could do. So Victoria sat alone and watched as the players took the pitch to warm up she searched for Bart. Finding him she felt a little more relief seeing he looked a little like himself, but still something was off.
Her thoughts distracted by a voice. Brown eyes looking up she couldn't help but take a second to answer. The man took his house pride seriously now didn't he. Giving a small smile she placed her hand lightly into his. His name sounded so familiar and then it hit her. [b] "Well it is a pleasure to meet you Professor, but I feel like I already know you. My son speaks very highly of you. "My name is Victoria Maroon, I'm Bart's mother. So yes I am a parent." This was a pleasant surprise. She wasn't really wishing to be social, but if she had to be it was nice to meet one of the only professors her son ever talked about.
"I assume you are cheering on Slytherin today?" Not that the green wasn't obvious or anything. Her eyes noticing more people coming in she noticed a familiar woman and a child coming up the stands. A smile and wave went to Emily and Zeke. That was nice to see her bringing him to matches.
curly haired prefect - "sometimes I get angry!" - 30/90 - *chicken emoji* - probably @ Disney - I speak dog
Cale HADN'T told either of his kids that he was going to be at the game today. He didn't want to freak them out if they were both playing, and he didn't want to make them nervous. He was disappointed to see only Caleb was playing today, but he still hoped he'd run into his daughter in the stands and surprise her!
"GO CALEB! YOU GOT THIS!" he cried, even though his son was playing his former team. He couldn't get too upset though - both of his kids were playing HIS former position! Chasers ran in the family, apparently! "THAT'S MY BOY!" he cried as Caleb scored the last goal of the game. That Slytherin seeker was FAST - although who was that playing seeker for the Gryffindors? Was that an OLD MAN?
Cale was officially confused.
But it didn't matter because the Slytherin's had WON! It was Cale's official job as World's Best Dad to cheer for them now, no matter what, because THEY were the most important house in his life right now, and Merlin was he PROUD!

So it WAS Kurumi, the former Gryffindor noticing the small wave sent his way just as the game was beginning. Simon made a mental note to see about meeting her after the match when things were certainly less crazy. Maybe catch up a little since it was a semi-happier time than the last time they had both seen each other at the trial. The thought made him focus strictly on the players since he didn't want to go down the sadder path.
Gryffindor won the first shot and he clapped proudly as the commentators added their own story to the action. That was something new...he didn't remember there being commentators at the games he had played in. But it did add a fun addition, and let people get more involved. Unfortunately the snakes had gotten the first snitch and raised their score higher then their competitors. "You can do it!" he encouraged the team of red and gold. And they did, the Gryffindor team soon enough tying it all up.
"WOOT!
Okay so he was getting into this. It was weird to be on this side but it was a good game to watch. If only it had ended a bit better, like not with Slytherin taking the match. "Good job," he said diplomatically as he clapped for both teams as things were wrapped up. Now to move since he remembered the stands could get crazy if one wasn't careful and doing it when they could. "Hopefully you enjoyed the match," he said with a smile as he passed closer to duo nearby, more to the unknown boy with Emily then his boss who got a nod. He certainly had seemed excited to watch it from what he made it during it.
Then he left them alone to look for Kurumi and Lewis. His smile brightening as he came up to the couple. "Hello you two," he greeted politely.

The game was gooooooddd... but it wasn't good good. Slytherin were too in front for it to be good good. So as the last snitch was caught, Zeke turned his gaze back to Emily, twisting in his seat so he was facing her and only her. Oh loook!!! That lady person! Zeke waved back to her, remembering her from the park. "Can I support them with you though?" he asked, "Unless they play Gryffindor, or Slytherin... then who knows, maybe we can be frenemies?" I then occurred to him that he was perhaps being unfair, "Or what about the Hufflepuffs?" he asked, "Can I support them?" ....
Emily applauded Sltyherin's victory, they played extremely well, with a finesse that could be admired. Though Gryffindor had been unlucky in some instances, robbed of a closer loss really... that was something. She gave Zeke a small smile, but seeing him wave she turned to see who it might be - obviously someone they knew. Scanning the stands, her hazel eyes locked on Vic and she returned a small greeting to her friend in the form of a smile and a nod. She didn't do much waving. "You can," she replied, returning her gaze to Zeke. Though the idea of them being frenemies was an interesting one, and good luck to him, because she was competitive. Wouldn't object to putting a wager on the match, teaching him a life-long lesson in losing.
He didn't even know when the next match would be, but he was already looking forward to it, they'd have to mark it on the calendar when they got home. Zeke knew he wouldn't forget, but he didn't want Emily to have a reason to. There would be no excuses of work or other arrangements, she couldn't plan anything with Gavin, it would be his day and his alone.
That Bennett person from before, Zeke saw him, and as he neared he found himself twisting in his seat to stare at the man. "I diiiddd... did you?" he asked in polite return. Eyes flickering from him to Emily then back again. He remembered what she said about talking to strangers, but if she knew him... then he wasn't reeeeeally a stranger. Right?
Emily refrained from rolling her eyes at Zeke. Had he learnt nothing? ... Merlin. Still, she supposed an introduction would be in order, since both of the males opted to break her invisible vow of silence between the two of them. "Bennett... this is Zeke, Zeke this is Simon Bennett... he works for me." There, introductions done.
Oohhhhh !!!!! Bennett man worked in the underground for the secret law enforcement stuff thing she did! "You work for my Emily? Neeaaaattt."

He must have been stunned for what might have been half the game. WHAT was WRONG with his Princess? She'd been asking him for wrinkle cream, he firgured she was being a teenage girl but THAT, THHHAAAT was cause for concern and made the game hard to take in. Michael sat on the edge of his seat praying every time Lex dived for a Quaffle. Thankfully she didn't fall but that bludger hit didn't sound anymore promising.
Occasionally he glanced down at the four year old but his full attention was on the pitch. In the end his former house one and he couldn't even smirk because Lex was.......what was she...? Old? She couldn't be, 15 wasn't that old and he'd never greyed at that age....
....He watched the players land, eyes not leaving his daughter. A stop in Hogsmeade would be necessary before he left. Kid looked like she could use some chocolate.
Awww, was the flying over already? It looked so fun!! Lexa was going to teach her to fly, she was gonna ask because her Mummy couldn't fly and her Daddy said she was too little. Jessa climbed into her father's lap after seeing her sister land then took his face in her hands. "Daddy I'm hungry. Are we eating with Lexa?"
Cause then she could hold her broom and maybe fly with it if she let her. Please?

A game as important as this one was not going to be missed by Cassia Jane, nope. She might have been a teeny tiny bit of late but she managed eventually to claim her seat which provided her the view she aimed for not too late and in time to see her friends shoot up in the sky. Friends on both teams! Not just that! But her brother's bestie as well! She had totally been trying to catch him somewhere but she so far hadn't managed to. What a big school they were in, eh.
Leaning forwards in her seat with her elbows on her knees, she watched silently matching the commentating with the balls movements. She obviously was cheering for Slytherin but she wished the Gryffindors well too. And as usual her major concern was not to see a friend get hurt or worse..... get hit herself by a poorly-aimed bludger or someone who lost control of their broom. She was not used to physical injuries and wished not to get so ever.
Each time Slytherin scored, blocked or got closer to the snitch, the prefect hopped up of her seat and let out a loud encouraging cheer. The snakes were doing awesome.
However, like each game it seemed, injuries happened and whenever a ball collided with someone, the blond winced so hard you'd think she was the one receiving the blow. Dangerous sport it was. At least people seemed to be having fun with it and never discouraged to play again after healing.
As the winner got announced she gave her loudest cheer before sitting down and leaning back watching the players land on the ground. It was now when she could tell whether anyone's injury was serious or not so much.

However, aside from that, something had caught her attention from the minute she'd sat down but she didn't focus on it much since her eyes were on the field. Was THAT man not familiar or what?! YES HE WAS!
Getting up and bending her back she made her way towards the man. If only she'd spotted him clearly earlier she'd have sat with him the entire time. "Hi, Mr. Cambridge!" Was that too enthusiastic and out of the blue? But he was a grown man he must be used to surprises and sudden events. Though, hopefully the lil one wouldn't be startled. "Hey, there, Jessa," Beaming at the two, Cassia reached out and patted her bestie's sister's head. Cute kid here. Despite Lex's attitude towards her. "How'd you like the game?" She asked claiming the spot next to them. Wasn't too late to exchange a few words, right? Unless the father was very busy.

Had she spotted him? It looked like it but it was hard to tell her reaction from here. Michael waved nonetheless before he found a four year old in his lap. Michael sighed. "No Love, Mummy has food ready for when we get home and Lex has to go back to being at school so we can't stay that long. Maybe next time." As unlikely as it was, he could let her think so for now and in the event Lex wrote to him about another Hogsmeade weekend, he'd try for then.
"I can get you a snack til we get home. Would you like that?"--
Michael looked over as a figure flopped down next to him. "Oh! Cassia!" He said with a smile. It wasn't nearly as wide as hers but he could chalk that up to youthful zeal. "It was a brilliant game, I am wondering though.....why do half these people look 80?.....Why does Lex look 80?" The man glanced down at the pitch again. "Just what's going on?" Should he have been concerned? Pulled his kid some school? Got her their personal doctor? He would.
"Caaassssiiiiaaaa!!" Jessa hopped off her father's lap and plopped into the older girl's, Lexa's friend. She was nice and Jessa liked her. "They waasss flllyyyiiiing!! Can you fly?" Her hand got busy playing with the ends of the girl's hair while she waited on the answer. If Cassia could fly she could ask her too.
"I'm gonna fly! Fly REAL high and Daddy's gonna catch me after."Nodnodnod.

Emmylou wanted to hang out with her Hogwarts friends, root for Gryffindor and see her boyfriend. Emmylou looked around for a free section of the stands, it had to be a good size for her and her friends to all hang out so for like four or five people.
Kace made his way to the match against Slytherin and Gryffindor. He was interested in watching it and see how it went. As he was watching, he noticed a certain girl caught her eye. She seemed taller for some reason. He looked down and noticed she was wearing high heeled boots. She was sort of cheating but he smirked all the same.
He got up from his seat and went to join Emmylou. He surprised hugged her and said softly in her ear, "I thought i might see you here."

Then he noticed Lux was there. He smiled and waved at her. "Hey Lux! Who are you rooting for in the match?"

So he did enjoy the game despite Lex's team not winning. It probably was the fact that he got to see his daughter play. Did Lex know her father was going to be here? She couldn't remember if it had been mentioned. Either way, she knew the Gryffindor would be thrilled to know her father was here watching the game. On the other hand she'd be totally nonchalant about the fact that her younger sister was here too.
"Glad you enjoyed it," she told him as she pulled Jessa onto her lap properly making sure the kid wouldn't fall. Awww.. playing with her hair, how Lex didn't like her was beyond the snake to comprehend. "I can fly, yes!" she answered the little girl. She was going to go with the explanation that she did know how to ride a broom just didn't do it much, cooler than to tell the four-year old that she, Cassia, didn't have the guts to fly up hitting balls and avoiding others while many pair of eyes watched. She could totally fly, how cool was she, right!?
Then Mr.Cambridge asked the question. "Err.... No one knows," she answered hesitatingly. "It just started happening to a bunch of people then spread around," And come to think of it, what kind of school would let it just happen. Hadn't there been people from the ministry here at the castle at some point, what had they done?! Hmm?

Emmylou yawned and watched the match. What was going on? She needed to figure out how to understand this game. She either had to ask Kace or Bart. Emmy knew that she would have to get back on a broom at some point because Bart told her that he was going to get to play Quidditch. Hands? She turned to find her favorite person. Emmylou tried with all of her power to no squeal happily about having her boyfriend sneaking up behind her but she just couldn't.
Emmy grinned. Her blue eyes were pretty much sparkling. "I was hoping to run into you." she grinned more. Emmylou rested her head against his arm and moved her hand over to his and intertwined her fingers with his.

It was such a lovely game, even though Gryffindor wasn't winning. "Willa, do you have to leave after this?" Even though she knew the answer, she wanted her sister to stay.
Willa waved over at her baby sister. Well there she was. Willa smiled and sat down never to her sister. The twenty-one year old put her hands in her pocket. "Well, hello, hello." she said in a sing song voice. Willa was quite cheery today. Nothing like a little bit of Quidditch to watch. She really had to make a mental note about going to a professional Quidditch match just so she can find herself a very handsome Quidditch player to date.

That was nice to see her bringing him to matches.
...it sounded like a kind song to his ears, and his face shone as he grinned WIIIIDEEEELY.
Oh, she was Bart's mother! How very convenient.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Maroon," he said amiably, his eyes twinkling. "It honours me to be talked in a good manner, and I have to say, you have such a bright son." He nodded. This was no empty flattery.
"I am, yes. Old Slytherin and all that... May I?" Sit with her? He would like to converse with good old Barty's mother more.

Awww, Gryffindor lost. That was sad, though Lux had still enjoyed herself.
And Willa was here, which made everything better.
Hearing her name being called, Lux turned and saw that Kace and Emmy were sitting right behind her. "Hey, guys! How are you doing?" It was so nice to see her friends again, and now they could meet her sister. "This is Willa, she is my big sister." Beam. "I was rooting for my friend, Bay who is in Gryffindor. And Gryffindor in general. Shame they lost, but it's okay!" It still had been a fun match.

Her two favorite teams to watch play.
They were her jarvey's favorite too, so Dora had him on her shoulders as she made her way up the stands and without pause took up residence in the seat beside Penelope. "Hey, Gryffindor." She pulled her pet into her lap and shushed him, making herself comfortable. Early they were.
The stands were quickly filling up, thankfully, which meant the game would be starting really soon. The seat next to her was still empty though until Dora suddenly filled it. She got a smile. "Hey, Ravenclaw." And...a jarvey, wasn't it? That was neat. Penelope might've commented on it, but her attention was soon caught by...

"Hey Kurumi!"
Cool! Penelope didn't know she was coming to this match. And apparently her guy had come too. That was nice. But more important than him, since Penelope didn't really know him, had she brought cookies? Or any food of any kind? 'Cause this Gryffindor wouldn't say no to any of it. Probably would make her feel better about not playing, mhm.
Yeah, she'd totally play that card for food. The only time it'd actually be useful.
But then the match started. Really good too! Alice was a really good Chaser, even though she probably still might prefer swinging a bat around. The whole team was really good, really holding their own against Slytherin who was also really talented. Though she was only really cheering for Ascanius and West. Them and Gryffindor.
And even though she would've much rather preferred playing, watching WAS pretty fun too. She got to focus on what multiple people were doing at once instead of solely thinking about finding the snitch. Both were fun, of course, but in different ways.
Slytherin ended up winning, but it had been a pretty tough game the whole time in Penelope's opinion. Her Gryffindors had been brilliant and ensured the game was really close. So good job, lions.
