Grab a seat before the match starts, but get up on your feet once the Quaffle is released! Come decked out in House colors or show your pride by joining Professor Flamsteed in a cheer. Unlike in the Great Hall, there are no designated House seating areas, so grab a seat by your friends. While good-natured competition is healthy, please remember to follow the school rules; rule-breakers will be punished by means of house point loss and/or detention.

Penelope entered the...completely empty stands? Odd, she was sure she hadn't come this early since she'd hung around a bit outside the locker room wishing Ascanius good luck and stuff like she usually did. But then, maybe everyone was suddenly really fussy about what they wanted to wear to a Quidditch match? It wouldn't surprise her since stranger things had been (and were) obviously happening at Hogwarts almost always. She'd even gotten a little particular about what she was wearing, having trouble deciding whether to go with jeans or sweatpants. Sweatpants were more comfortable though so they'd won in the end. Obviously.
She took a seat with a really good view of the pitch - though all of them were technically good - and played with Ascanius' her tie and necklace to occupy herself until the game started. Or until someone interesting stopped by and talked to her. Whichever came first.

And Schuyler was bundled up and ready for it. Quite nippy out here. She ascended the stairs and found the stands to be pretty devoid of people. Well, she supposed she was a bit early. Anticipation and all. She spotted Penelope already there and Schuyler flashed a smile her way. "Hey, Penelope," she greeted. Look at her all prepared to cheer on her boyfriend. "I'm guessing you're rooting for Slytherin?" Just a hunch.
Oooo, cold. Cold breeze right there. She tucked jacket closer to her body.
Dani's Citrus Duck Spawn | Mama Giraffe | Lemon PATch | Pushed the Red Button
Cold. Cold cold cold cold cold.
Which meant it was the perfect weather to break out West's her favorite Slytherin Quidditch hoodie, of course. Alice hated chilly weather but loved that article of clothing, so her mood was fairly balanced today. Ascending the stairs in her beat up converse, she tailed Schuyler up to the stands and slipped into a seat near her and Penelope. If there were people here already, at least they were ones she liked.
"She's always cheering for Slytherin. Even when we're playing them." Truth.

Okay? The stands looked pretty empty, save for a few people. Had Gwen read the time wrong? She glanced around. Yep. There were only the three other girls there. None of whom she recognized. She hobbled up the stands anyway. There was a game today, that much she knew. She just didn't have the energy to hike back to the castle, and down again whenever the game started, so she would just wait here.
She pulled her knees to her chest as she sat down, conserving body heat and everything. Hopefully people she knew would be here soon, because it was a little awkward to be this early without another person with you.
Making her way to the stands Beverly mentally scolded herself. She should have stayed inside. With a cold like the one she had, tea and warm soup would have been nice, but...Quidditch. She wasn't ridiculously in love with it like her cousin Peyton was, but she was still a fan.
And she was twice the fan when the team she was rooting for was playing. In this case, Slytherin. It was her first time to be able to attend a Snakes' game there was absolutely NO WAY she was going to miss it.
So donning a green jumper, and overall comfortable clothes, the youngest Wayne made it up the stands near the front row.

Wade had made his way back to his.. former.. school. Yeah, that was still weird to him considering it wasn't even a year since he last set foot on the grounds. At least there was no more paying to get in again, it made it even easier to see some of his favorite people along with the game.
Once Wade had made his way toward the stands, he chose one of the higher seatings to get a good view of everything. It was also a little windy too, actually. Wade's loose curls moving along with the wind before resting again. Should be another exciting match.

Really now.. Javy didn't usually attend these kind of events. They were nice in the sense of togetherness, though the whole jumping and cheering wasn't one of his usual patterns of behavior. Still though, having school spirit was important, and who didn't love a good game of Quidditch.. especially after having not seen his former house play in so long. That got him making his way to the stands, taking his time at each step..
Perhaps the high end of the stands wouldn't be good. Choosing to sit in the middle, he let out a soft sigh in relief. The Creature teacher could really do with some tea, but the wait on his usual herbal supplies that the kitchens didn't have was going to be trying. He could do with a bit of distraction now.

Today was the first match of the season and Ben was somewhat thankful it didn't involve the Gryffindors. That way he was allowed to enjoy it without the nerves that were starting to develop for their own first game. Something he hoped the practices would help him along the way, or even knowing what they would be up against later on in the season. Alice had told them they would get a chance to play all three opposing houses at least during the course of all the games.
He and Adi had made plans to sit and watch it together, saying they would meet up in a certain portion of the seats. Easier that way, given that most of the school would likely also be watch. At least if they ventured out in the cold. Ben was certainly glad for his scarf and gloves as he head out on the grounds and up to the stands. Brrr his old bones were already protesting the chill and moving too much to try and keep himself warm wasn't helping.
Reaching the meeting place, the Gryffindor spotted the COMC professor there, obviously joining in the festivies. That had taken getting used to last year, the mix and mingle of staff and students but Ben wasn't too shy about it now. "Good day, Professor," he greeted politely.
Bortos was, not unusually, in that good mood. He was wearing a blue and silver jumper, Ravenclaw scarf, and an old sports boots charmed to take the color blue as well. It was once again one of those cane-free days, so he strolled down the grounds towards the stands and hopped onto the steps to choose a seat for himself.

"Mr. Thompson!" Botros called out, and loped his way between benches to take a seat next to his new colleague, "Nice, cold day for some fresh air and Quidditch." He rubbed his hands together, excitedly and to gain some warmth. Then he remembered the peanut bag in his pocket, and fished it out as the young Gryffindor boy was talking to the professor next to him. "Oh I would've loved for a hot Moroccan tea, but I've attended those matches before. The kids get a little agitated in the end, no matter what." Not good place to have a hot beverage in.
He noticed Thompson's lack of signs and boards. He wasn't a fan of cheerleading, then? Botros could only guess at this point.

It was safe to say that Quidditch wasn't exactly Terry's thing. He would definitely never play it, much to West's advantages. He had never practiced before and despite being quite physically fit and having good stamina, he just didn't want to try.
But he made his way down to the Quidditch pitch in order to support his housemates in their match. That and three of them were his dormmates so it would be pretty rude not to. Dressed in a green t-shirt, jeans and his Slytherin scarf and hat he felt pretty house proud. But as he arrived he couldn't help but notice the seemingly larger presence of Gryffindors in the stands rather than those from his own house. Weird. Though it seemed like some of them were supporting Slytherin anyway so he couldn't complain.
Now it was the question of where to sit. The seventeen year old scanned the stands with his eyes, briefly noticing the professor and giving him a nod in greeting. "Who are you supporting Professor?" he asked with a grin. They must have had their favourites after all.

This was exciting. Mellow.
Still undecided where to sit and not wanting to stand alone like a lemon, the Slytherin made his way over to a girl whom was sat by herself. He had seen her around the Common Room he was sure, so she must have been a snake.
He took a seat diagonally behind her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Looks like we're the only snakes here" he chuckled. Strange but maybe the rest of them were on their way. As long as there was some form of support for the Quidditch team it would be fine, right?

Adi was on his was to the Stands. He needed to find Benny because he hadn't been able to find him in the Castle. The Puffer arrived at the stands only to see a mop of curly hair. He'd recognise that hair anywhere. "WADE!'' He ran up towards his ex- Housemate. "Dude! It's good to see you! What's up?''
............................
Ah. There was the Dragon, talking to Professor Thompson. Adi made his way towards them as he pulled his jacket closer around him. Gosh, it was cold! "Hello, hello,'' he greeted his friend and Professor when he reached them. He glanced around. A few students had already gathered. And there was Professor Botros join them now. "Hello, Grandfather Professor,'' Adi greeted the man. Yes, he had just called the man Grandfather.

Brrrr. It was cold. Indiana was glad that she had borrowed one of her boyfriend's big fluffy scarves. She didn't want to be cold during the game. Though she had been clever and not worn the hufflepuff one. That team wasn't even playing today, so she would have looked a little stupid. She had told Wade to go ahead. She'd been at work that morning, and so would probably only barely make it on time. The eighteen year old wandered up the stands, hoping that Wade would be there.
Ahh. There he was. The blonde hurried over to her boyfriend, not wanting some to sit next to him, and leave no room for him. "Hey Handsome." She murmured, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "You got good seats" They would see everything from here, which was super good.

Bundle up a little more than usual, Airey hobbled his way towards his usual seat with one hand on his cane and the other shoved deep in the warmth that was his coat's pocket. He was going more neutral coloring today, although if asked he was leaning more towards Slytherin given his choice of silver attire which nearly matched the hue his hair was taking on these days.
"Miss Fischer, Miss Emmons, Miss Greenwell," he greeted the Gryffindor ladies as he passed. "I hope you are all keeping warm. Chill that cuts you right to the bone today. Nothing some cheering can't help with." It was how he was planning on keeping warm at least. To his best abilities.
Continuing his slow movements towards his seat, he was pleasantly surprised by the presence of students already sitting nearby. "Miss Wayne, Mr. Radley hope you don't mind my sitting here," he greeted her as he sat down. Because he wasn't asking. Mostly informing. Using his cane to support his balance, he slide down into his seat and glanced around, nodding his head towards his two colleagues and the Gryffindor sitting near them before looking around almost nervously for Medea. Only because of her paint and her tendency of putting said paint on his suit just because she knew how much it drove him mad.
She was the only exception to the no touching the suit rule, however. Even with the paint.
"I hope you two have some interesting cheers planned for the match."
Oh, was that Mr. Potter? Airey waved towards the former Head Boy.

Delilah made her way to the stands for the first match of the season. She was excited, to say the least. She would have been a little more excited if she wasn't so tired but okay. Maybe after the game.
She made her way to one of the seats near the front and sat down, cradling the steaming mug of hot chocolate in her hands. She still wasn't sure which team she wanted to support. Slytherin, maybe. Because all the pretty boys.. Hmm. She took a small sip of her drink and waited for the match to begin.

Quidditch.
There's no way she would've missed this, yeah? And so the eighteen year old had worked some magic. Dying her hair as best she could to hide the greys. Several could still be seen among the blonde locks but it was certainly less noticeable than it had been. As for her Gran's anti-wrinkle cream, that had been doing quite a nice job as well. She could take some kind of comfort in that.
The one thing she couldn't hide was the aches and pains. The occasional wince or crack of the knee or elbow was constant but she was dealing. Just had to move slower, is all. Nothing she couldn't handle. Trooper, she was.
And so Ella made her way up and into the stands, moving quite slowly and sporting some eye glasses her Gran had sent without asking any questions, mind you. They were a bit strong but at least now she could see. She'd worked out the sore feet problem too, having sent for some comfy insoles for her boots. Now all she needed to do was find a seat.
Smiles were given to the Gryffindor girls as she spotted them. Then to the Professors who were here. Some of her favorites, y'know. "Great day for Quidditch, yeah?" She asked as a sort of general greeting to all. And then she spotted a very familiar and very missed face.
"Wade!"
That was Wade, wasn't it? WADE! And Adi and Indi too and the eighteen year old was all smiles as she made her way up to them, stopping only to wave to Delilah because Hiiiii, Delilah. It took her quite a bit of time but she finally got to the little group and hugged her former housemate. Did Alec know he was coming?!
SQUISH!
"You're here! Hi! I missed you!" And she finally let go, grinning from the curly-haired former badger to Indi and then to Adi. "Hey, you guys!" She was excited, see?

Soon she wasn't alone there though because Schuyler and Alice showed up not long after she arrived. Penelope grinned. "Yep." Probably wasn't much of a surprise she was cheering for the snakes. "You do too though, Alice," she added with a grin, nudging the girl with her elbow. She probably cheered for Slytherin a little even when Gryffindor was playing too deep down.
Looked like the stands were filling up quickly now. Good. The match was gonna start pretty soon, wasn't it?
Oh hey, Flamsteed. "All the more reason to cheer extra hard then," she agreed. Cheering and jumping around woul definitely help keep warm. Also warming charms. Those were a thing, right? Maybe she should've tried those before she'd come...oh well.

After what seemed like forever, Alec finally found himself heading up to the Stands. He had gotten up a little earlier than usual just to prepare himself some hot chocolate and make his way up here before the match started. Given the current circumstances with his back, the last thing he wanted to do was get here and end up missing most of the match.
... Which... speaking of, it should be starting soon, right? A quick glance at his watch told him yes. It also told him that he had taken a little too long getting ready. ... Erm...? It hadn't been that long, right? Sure, he had taken a little too long picking out the current jumper he was wearing, something he had found tucked away at the bottom of his trunk but turned out to be very comfortable. Yeah.
... Why hadn't he worn this before?
Looking up again, he slowly made his way up the steps. There... were already a few people here. A few, but not many. Smiles and waves were given to the people he knew as he passed them. And big grins for Delilah and Terry and Hulk. HEY.
And... there was...

I'm too lazy to quote the others sorry sorry.
... "Curly?!" He was there! He was actually sitting there and ready to watch actually there!
Letting a BIG GRIN spread across his face, the Head Boy headed over slowly towards the former Head Boy, running a hand through his grey-brown hair as he went. He carefully sat down on an empty seat next to the boy, letting out a small sigh of relief once he had gotten comfortable in the seat. ... These seats... weren't as comfortable as the ones back in Potions. Or the armchairs back in the common room. His back demanded comfort.
... But... Wade. "Hey! It's really great to see you again, you know," Really. And... there were other people here too. "Hey Ells! Adi! Indy!" ... Wade was popular, did he know? And Alec wanted hugs and hair ruffles. Just FYI.
The game was about to start – really just moments away as she scrambled her way into the pitch and over to the little microphone. She scanned the crowd and the stadium as well as she looked for who was playing today. Luckily she had a little cheat-sheet in her hand for the newer team members.
Speaking of her hands was it just her, but did it feel like they were numb? Tingling and feeling as if the skin was about to eat itself off of her and just freeze in broken place?
”W-welcome to the fi-first g-game of the season” she stammered out and would have waved if her hands were able to move. ”it’s a little cold today I m-might say…but lets forget the cold and just look at those happy not-frozen looking quidditch players on the field!” She grinned.
”today we’ve got a Ravenclaw versus Slytherin game, Slytherin’s Seeker Derryth Ferrier looks in good sorts today” she grinned. ”and the other slytherin team mates look pretty swell as well for this cold day. We’ve got the pleasure of watching Theodore Kinsley as Keeper today, Captain West Odessa, Ascanius Stark, and Sophie Newell as the chasers” she grinned. ”and the beaters today are redhead Adelaide Adams and Rhodes Merivel” she grinned and pulled her mittens tighter on her fingers.
She had a commentating partner didn't she?

Cinnamon was pretty excited to be here. Dad had promised her that she could go to Hogwarts next term. She hated being homeschooled. It was so boring. It was only her and Nana.
When she found out it there was a game today she had to come. This would be her school next term. So she should come check it out. Meet some people so that by the time she was there next term she really wouldn't be the new girl.
Where was Asher? Wasn't he in Slytherin? Was he playing? He would be playing on daddy's team next season. She knew him from the tornadoes Caroline is his sister. She found the perfect spot to sit. Good thing she bundled up it was cold. And she had hit coco and lots of it to share.

Bart was there, he was. Just late and by the time his tired body made it to the stands he heard some girl with his mic! No one told him he was working with someone. He worked alone didn't they know that.
Huff
He shuffled his feet in his slippers of course to the commentating box, but not before he spotted his step brother and wicked girlfriend of step brother. He gave them a shy little wave, because look at him. Reasons he wasn't going home for Christmas and now they were seeing him anyway. Well whatever he was late and the announced had already started. Time to move on.
He turned and just looked at the girl, "Who are you?" No matter and grab the Mic, "I'M HERE I'M HERE.. WHOA IS IT COLD OUT TODAY. ANYWAY WHAT A MATCH UP WE HAVE TODAY. AS WHO EVER THIS IS BESIDE ME SAID THAT WAS THE SNAKE TEAM. NOW FOR THE CLASSY RAVENCLAWS ZOOMING AROUND. THE CAPTAIN OF COURSE IS THE COOL CAPTAIN MO AND HE IS PLAYING CHASER. LET'S SEE WHAT KIND OF GAME THEY'VE BROUGHT TODAY AS THE WHISTLE BLOWS FROM A SLOW STARTING TYNER. SOMEONE MIGHT NEED TO GET HER SOME HOT CHOCOLATE BEFORE SHE TURNS INTO A SNOWTYNER.
AND THEIR OFF. CAPTAIN MO GOES FOR THE SCORE, DOWN THE PITCH HE'S SO SUPER FAST! HE SHOOTS AND SCORES AGAINST THE SNAKES! 10-0 CLAWS!"
He handed over the mic as he started a coughing fit. He was to old to scream that much really. It was her turn now. Maybe it was a good thing this girl showed up.
She did release a breath when she saw the first goal of the season it was awesome…and not as loud as the commentator next to her. “I’m Mika – your co commentator” she grinned as she quickly spoke.
”West Odessa is the first to catch the quaffle after its thrown into play by Kinsley…favoritism maybe?” she didn’t mean to say that in the commentating. Her face would have been ashen if she wasn’t so cold.
”Odessa drops the Quaffle to Newell who brings it down the field and passes to Stark whose perfectly lined up there for a shot – he aims he shoots….Ravenclaw Keeper Bayliss tries to catch it!” Breath bated. ”STARK WITH A GOAL! The score is 10-10! Everyone is really playing well today!” she called out and cheered.
She wanted hot chocolate. Really. Right now. Someone give her some.

Why was it so cold?!
Being sure she'd bundled up before she left her dorms, Josette had just arrived after the first quaffle had been scored. And she'd missed it too! Who was it that scored?! ...Marcus Branxton?! OH-WAIT, that's Mo! They'd scored first! But wait, Slytherin had scored? She couldn't see at all, she was just too short on the first row of seats in the stands. She had to get higher so she could try to see her teammates play!
Turning she struggled a bit with her aching bones to get up to the next row. Just as she was doing so she heard someone practically shouting over a microphone that hurt Josette's ears. Must children be SO inconsiderate to people with sensitive hearing now? Honestly! But anyways, she'd managed to reach three rows higher just as the next quaffle had been thrown-wait, was that Ella?

Rubbing his hands together, Airey blew into them to keep them warm while he tried to recall just where he had put his gloves. He was sure that he had brought them with him, knowing that it would be cold for today's match...only it seemed that now they were no where to be found. Oh well, he would just have to keep both his hands shoved in the pockets of his coat then.
Giving Miss Greenwell a quick salute - and he was expecting to hear that cheering! - he turned his attention to the pitch as the game began with a stellar score by Mr. Branxton. Golf clap to you, Mr. Branxton. His body was too stiff to do anything else.
Oh...hot chocolate...that sounded really good right now. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
As the players wizzed by, his gaze followed their movements and fell on an unfamiliar student in the stands. Or maybe it was just a face of a student that he had forgotten? He was usually very good with remembering such things, though. "Enjoying the match?" he asked her, his teeth chattering just a little.
Oh, and well done, Mr. Stark. Proving to be an exciting match already!

You know what was more exciting than seeing Wade? Having her boyfriend show up. The boy looked cozy too and all she could think of was how warm that sweater he was wearing looked. Maybe...she could borrow it some time? With or without permission, y'know. Girlfriend perks. But anyway, big smiles for the boyfriend person. "Hey, Head boyfriend!" Grin! "Fancy seeing you here." And she adjusted her glasses a bit before reaching over to poke him gently in the shoulder. He was too far away, y'know? Could she have hugs after Wade got them? Please? Cold, shivering girlfriend over here.
And then the game was happening. Pretty evenly matched so far which was good. Ella liked close matches the best. Made things more exciting. It was also exciting to see Mika because the eighteen year old was pretty sure she'd been in hiding nearly all term so far. What had she been up to? Answers, Ella wanted them. She didn't have too long to think on it though because Theo had made a brilliant save. "Nice job, Theo!"
And was that Josie? Ella spotted the younger girl and smiled, waving her over. "Hello there!"

Escorting dragons from one pole to another during their migration month is an exhausting thing to do. The only thing that Mordred looked forward to was the fact that he will be able to pass by Scotland and visit Hogwarts. He didn’t expect that there will be a match that day though, which meant he could come inside the school and watch the game live.
Hogwarts meant Sophie.
He was late, since he can already see flying blues and greens up in the air. Whoooa. Slytherin was playing today! Mordred grinned and headed towards the stands to get a better view.
“Theo?” Mordred squinted his eyes and tried his best to follow his ‘little bro’. Jeez. It was just yesterday when Theo was just an ickle Snake, wolfing down chocolate frogs in the hopes of getting a rare chocolate frog card.
