And in that moment, Louis died.
Yep. Dead. Gone. Adios!

Okay maybe not literally, but he did look about ready to flop on the floor and have a proper heart attack.

So there HAD been more to the story than what he knew! And MAN, was it a LOT more. Like, way more than he could handle. Apparently Bay had, in a way, confessed his feelings too? And there was hand-holding? AND more kissing?!

It took Louis an astronomical effort not to run down the corridor flailing. Instead, he just stood there with saucer-sized eyes and a pale face. And he just stared at Lux in disbelief.

Yeah, he was gonna need a moment. Or two.

Why... was Louis looking at her this way?

Lux started to feel uncomfortable, not sure if he was going to have a heart attack or run off screaming. "Are you okay, Louis?" Did she need to get the Healer? Who knew how much his 500 year old heart could take?

It took Louis a few moments, but he was finally able to snap out of his daze when Lux's voice filled the air. RIGHT. Back to reality. "Ye--yeah, I'm okay," the Gryffindor replied, shaking his head to clear his mind, the usual smile back on his face.

"Wow."

Wow indeed.
How could he even respond to this wonderful piece of information? Baylux were SO ready to be an item now.

"So..." the boy's expression was curious once again, "If... let's say... hypothetically speaking... Bay asked you out, would you... go out with him?" This was important information for TeamBaylux Fan Club members.

It relieved Lux to see that Louis was starting to go back to normal. He needed to not scare her like that again, because she would not know what to do if he had a heart attack right in front of her. She did not want to kill Louis!

Oh, right. Question. "Of course." Was that not obvious by the fact that she wanted him to ask her out?

Lou was all smiles, like a child on Christmas morning. THIS WAS IT. Bay and Lux had kissed, and the girl was even willing to date Bay! Now all he and the other members of the Team Baylux Fan Club had to do was... get Bay to ask her out.

Just that ONE task, and it'd be mission accomplished. They were so close to succeeding on their mission, Lou could almost taste the triumph already.

"In that case, I hope he does," the boy replied more casually, smiling warmly at the girl. "Personally, I think you'd make a great couple." Nod, nod. Yep. Definitely.

Smiling again, Lux shrugged a little. "I have no idea what he is thinking of doing, and I don't want to pressure him." As much as she liked him - which was a lot - she did not want to do that. He knew that she liked him, and it was clear that he liked her back; she would wait and see if he did something about it or not. She couldn't help feeling that he was waiting for her to be a little older.

Louis nodded his head understandingly as Lux explained her point of view. He, too, had a feeling that perhaps Bay was waiting until she was at least in her teens. But at the same time, the boy didn't want them to wait. What if another girl came along?! Or another boy?! With Lux's kissing tendencies, he was a little scared she could get easily distracted...

"At least you two are being honest with each other now," the boy commented. "I think at this point, you two should just... wait and see what happens."

Or rather, wait and see what Team Baylux Fan Club members MAKE happen.

Lux was happy that it seemed as if they had reached an understanding. "Yeah, I am so happy he likes me back!" She was so excited and happy that she now knew why he was so special to her. "I'm not kissing anymore boys now, Louis." Because she had liked kissing Bay more and she wanted to kiss him again. 'But yes, I will wait and see if anything happens. I can be patient for him." Beam.

Seeing Lux so happy and giddy was the absolute cutest thing in the world, and Lou had to try VERY hard not to pinch her cheeks numb. She was just so precious.

"I'm happy for you, Lux... I really am," said the Gryffindor, flashing his friend an honest smile.

At her following comment about not kissing any more boys, he laughed aloud. How'd she know he was thinking that?! Well, it was good to hear her reassure him anyway. "Good. If Bay didn't like it before, I doubt he'd like it any more now," he said with a soft chuckle, shaking his head at the different memories of Lux kissing all sorts of different boys, himself included.

Aw, she'd be patient for him? Lou smiled at this. Knowing Bay, Lux would probably need to be very patient indeed.

Wasn't Louis really sweet. Lux gave him a hug, because he wasn't teasing her and seemed to want her with Bay. Yaay. "Has he told you anything about liking me?" She wanted to hear about it if he had. But maybe Bay hadn't wanted to say anything.

Sophie glanced up, realizing she was near the portraits. Right. She didn't have time to look at those. She had maybe...twenty seconds to finish this? Well, not THAT short of a time period, but with the way she was rushing around, it sure felt like it. She checked the time. Okay, thirty minutes. She could do this. That would be fifteen minutes to get this finished and fifteen minutes to get it turned in.

Sophie flicked her wand out her holster. "Intaglio!" she said, and she began carving a triangle into her amulet. "Intaglio!" she said again, and then she drew the circle and line part of the deathly hallows. Awesome. This would be done in no time. Sophie spent the next few minutes fine-tuning everything. She wanted to make sure it looked really good.

When the last of the strokes had been made, she put away her wand gathered her things. Time to make a mad dash to the History of Magic classroom!
