"Most of it at least. We were still kind of grounded," And by that he meant they were literally not allowed to leave the house. Jun didn't mind at all. He hated summer and the hot weather. It made him crankier than usual and whatnot. Stupid Bergen and humid weather.

Nod nod.

"He's probably the easiest professor to deal with. Others are okay, then there are the ones that are just mental," Like their transfig professor. She was actually completely mental.

Adelaide frowned slightly. "I'm sure you found ways to enjoy yourself." Plus you know, he didn't have to deal with the heat and all that fun stuff.

She nodded in agreeance. "Definitely. Bellaire?" Because she was the only really crazy one she could think of.

"Yeah, like rolling ourselves down the stairs or sliding down with a mattress," Jun laughed. And they had actually managed to do that. Maybe minor concussions here and there. But it was their parents fault for grounding two hyper teenage boys in the first place.

"Obviously. One moment she's all normal, the next she'll go off faster than a firecracker!" And he had seen it happen. On the train coming to school. And oh what a weird sight it was.

Funny little things, weren't they?

Adeline walked over to the portraits slowly, she wanted to dress up nice and she hadn't worn heels since she was her normal seventeen year old self. Adeline shivered, was it really that cold in here? She should have brought her sweater with her or was she looking for it? But she didn't remember that it was Asher's birthday but she was also very grumpy today.

Where was she even going?

Bart had been hobbling around the castle. He hated how long it took him to get to places, but his feet just didn't want to move. Shuffling his frog slippers across the floor. He heard something and stopped looking around. Seeing someone standing near the portraits he figured it was her. "HUH? WHAT DID YOU SAY? YOU HAVE TO SPEAK UP." Did she not realize he was hard of hearing?

He shuffled over closer to the girl, but heard the noise again. "HUH?" stopping it wasn't her. He was seeing her, she didn't speak. Who was it? He looked around the room. "WHO KEEPS TALKING?" He looked around, "DID YOU HEAR THAT? WHO IS IT?" He didn't see anyone else, maybe she was hiding someone.

What was that? Adeline looked around. Whaaaaaat?She squinted at the picture things on the wall. Were they moving around? Adeline rubbed her eyes. Why couldn't she see? Would she need to get glasses again? She couldn't put her contacts in anymore because her hands were so shaky. "WHAT? IS SOMEONE THERE?" Adeline blinked and looked around. Her vision was blurry, she rubbed her eyes again. "HELLO? WHO'S THERE? I CAN'T SEE, I NEED GLASSES." Adeline stretched ehr arms out in front of herself.

Bart turned from his looking to find who was talking. Was the girl now talking to him. "I'm here.. I mean well no I mean what I said.. I'M HERE." Like right in front of your face! His grin grew and he shuffled to her left side. This could be fun. Bart scratched at his beard. Who was this girl and why was she so blind? Then he heard the noise again and started turning around. "WHO KEEPS SAYING THAT!"

Really someone was talking and playing tricks on him, but who was it. He turned around some more. "What was that??" He turned back to the girl. "You are hearing someone talk, right?" She did hear that didn't she. It was sounding like a guy, but there was no guy around!

Hmmm.
Lou had walked through the first floor on his way to class or to the Great Hall at least five thousand times before, but he’d never really noticed the paintings hanging on the walls before. Well, he knew they were there. But he hadn’t actually noticed them. And now that he actually noticed them, all moving just so very slightly as to better accommodate themselves in their intricate frames, the boy almost felt tempted to wave hello. It just seemed rude to keep walking right past them everyday; when you see a person down the hall, don’t you usually wave? Or smile? Seeing as they were very much alive, didn’t the portraits count as people too?

Questions, questions.

Louis seemed so distracted by the portraits, is was not hard for her at all to sneak up on him. He really was making things so easy for Lux. Coming up behind him, she whispered, "Boo." Hopefully he didn't have old man ears, and would actually hear her.

Unfortunately for Louis, his hearing remained quite decent despite his old age, and so Lux's attempt at scaring the living daylights out of the boy worked like a charm. He jumped on the spot, turning around sharply and feeling his heart threatening to burst from his chest.

"Lux!" he let out in a breathless sigh, hand coming to rest on his chest as if to calm his beating heart.

Was she trying to kill him?!
The boy gave her a small smile as he regained his composure. "Fancy seeing you here," he commented casually. 'Cause, y'know, he hadn't really seen her in a while. Since the chaotic Valentine's event, anyway.

Giggle. Louis looked like he had seen a ghost. Lux would have been worried for him if it looked like he was about to keel over and have a heart attack, but seemed as if everything was okay. "Heeeey, Louis. I was just wandering around. Have you been up to anything interesting lately?" Because she hadn't seen him in a bit and maybe he had some fun Squire adventures without her or something.

With a smile on her face, she gave a curtsy as it was her usual form of greeting him.

Louis smiled as Lux greeted him casually. When the girl gave a little curtsy, he playfully returned the gesture with an exaggerated formal bow. “M’lady.” He’d almost forgotten his Squire manners.

“Not a lot, no,” he answered her question with a shrug. “It’s been pretty calm since the Valentine’s dance,” he added, looking over at one of the portraits absentmindedly before turning his gaze in Lux’s direction. There was the slightest hint of a smirk on his face. “That was a pretty eventful night, wasn’t it?” Hmmmmm?

Oh, goodness... an interrogation. Really? Narrowing her eyes, Lux wondered how much Louis knew about what had happened. Did Bay tell him everything? They were close, so it would not be a surprise if he had. Besides, it wasn't as if she was ashamed of it, she just was a private person when it came to this. Shrugging, she decided to play the innocent card until she could figure out just how much Louis knew. "Yeah, it was really fun." Smiling, she was not going to say anything else about it for now.

Louis narrowed his blue eyes right back at Lux as the little Lady of the House of Hufflepuff gave him a very short, detail-devoid response. She was onto him, wasn't she? He couldn't help but feel amused at how well she knew him by now.

"It was fun, yeah," he agreed with a nod. The boy placed his hands in the pockets of his trousers in an effort to look casual. "Lots going on..." mmmhmmmmm "Especially at the Tunnel of Love..." C'monnnnn Lux, spill it! It wasn't nice to tease a squire like this!

The innocent smile did not leave Lux's face as Louis tried harder to pry it out of her. Really, it was a little fun teasing him though she would never be mean about it. "Yeah, I heard Sander and Tessa got really wet there." That was so not what he was asking about, but it was okay. As far as she was concerned, Louis and Ana knew that she liked Bay and had kissed him and that was it. Though Ana actually also knew that he had kissed her back, but shhh.

Again she wondered how much Bay had told him.

Louis tried not to face!palm when Lux mentioned Sander and Tessa getting wet at the tunnel. "Oh, really? Yeah, I heard about that," the boy muttered, failing miserably at showing any enthusiasm. As much as he liked Sander and Tessa, it wasn't their relationship he was curious about.

"I heard something a certain girl kissing a certain boy, too." AHEM-HEM-HEM. Ring any bells, Lady Lux?

Aww, the game was up and it had just started.

"Oh, so that..." Despite herself, she was going rather red. She really liked Bay a lot, and she was happy about what happened between them. "You know how I feel about him." She had no issues admitting that she liked Bay, because even Bay knew himself. But she was not going to tell him everything that happened on that ride. If he was going to get that from her, it had to be for a million cucumber sandwiches or something.

Louis didn't even realize that he was letting out a sigh of relief when Lux finally went along with the subject he'd been trying to get to all along. However, her responses still gave him nothing to work with.

"I do," he admitted with a nod and a sympathetic smile. At least she seemed a lot more open about confessing that she liked his best mate. That was a step forward. But of course, Lou had no idea what else had happened.

"So..." ahemmmm. "After that whole thing with the kiss and Bay panicking... what else happened?" Hmmmm?

A sigh? Really? Was Louis like mega wanting them together?

That was actually cute, and made her happy because she did really want to date Bay. Though he hadn't asked her out at the tunnel of love and she was not sure if he was going to any time soon if at all. Maybe he felt that she was still a little too young to date him.

"You really want to know what happened, Louis?" Biting her lip, she was not sure. On one hand she was happy and excited and on the other hand, it was sort of nice having private bits to herself.

Do I really want to know?! What do you think, m'lady?!

Louis bit at his lip to keep himself from bursting with obvious curiosity. Instead, he nodded his head innocently. "Well. I mean... if my two best friends are having an affair, I think it's only fair I know about it, no?"

An... affair? What?

Lux was completely puzzled now, and she was sure it was shown on her face. "What do you mean, affair?" They weren't dating for one thing, and for another... Bay wasn't with Christmas anymore, right? He had gone stag, so it was an obvious conclusion to come to. Unless... did he still have a girlfriend?

Please let him be single....

Lou cringed slightly at his own choice of words. "Er..." What DID he mean? He couldn't say Lux and Bay were dating because... well, as far as he knew, they weren't. He was sure they would've told him THAT much by now. But how else could he phrase this? "What I mean is... if you two have feelings for each other, and any... uh, intentions of... perhaps dating in the near future... I would like to know," he explained slowly, being very careful with his choice of words. He didn't want to give Lux any more excuses for avoiding the question.

Ooooooh.

Sigh of relief. Louis really needed to stop scaring her!

"Well, I don't really know what is happening?" That much was the truth at least. Since they hadn't really talked about things further or anything... Hopefully something would come out of it, but she supposed she would have to wait and see.

Louis tilted his head slightly to the side when Lux said she didn't really know what was happening between her and Bay. Huh. So did that mean that the Tunnel of Love event hadn't ended with a... concrete decision on what Baylux were going to do with themselves?

"Well..." How many times did he have to ask the same thing before she would finally answer it?! "What did happen? At the Tunnel of Love, I mean."

Lux supposed she could at least tell Louis what had happened so that he would stop looking so tortured. It was supposed to have been private, but hopefully they could have more of those moments in the future without being interrogated over it. "Okay, well, I told him I really liked him after I kissed him and he asked if I meant as a friend or brother and I said no... then he said that was what he had wanted to hear, and he kissed me back. Then we rode the boat holding hands and kissed each others cheeks and he told me to save a dance for him."
