Mitchell smirked. Waiiiit a second. "Withhhh?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. "Me?" Yes? Yes. He had you all figured out now, Goldie. Yes he did.

He then licked his lips and grinned at the compliment. He was pretty funny, wasn't he? "You're welcome." he said with a teasing nudge.

Why Addi was wearing a dress without leggings in the middle of winter she had no idea. She just felt like dressing up and well, her leggings were kind of dirty and she was lazy. Besides, it wasn't like she was going to go outside the castle anyways. She was just heading to the library.

On her way, Adelaide spotted a mirror. She looked at herself and ran a hand through her very short hair. Man. That was definitely a different look...but it was making quidditch much easier. Sigh. She was obviously still getting used to it.

Lux had never been to this area of the fourth floor before, and was rather curious when she spotted a mirror on the wall. Though, she was more curious about the person who was looking in said mirror. "Nice haircut, Addi." Giving her friend a thumbs up, she wondered why anyone would be wearing a dress in leggings when it was so cold. Even though they were inside, the castle wasn't exactly warm in toasty in this area.

Adelaide was fusing with her hair when she heard a familiar voice. She looked down at the younger red head girl, a big smile on her face. "Thanks. I needed a change...and was tired of wearing it up for quidditch." It definitely was a big benefit not having to remember a hair tie.

Smiling big, Lux went up to Addi and gave her a hug. She had not seen her in a while, and had missed her friend. "Well, you look super good with it!" She totally was giving it a stamp of approval. "My sister gave me a make over on Christmas!" She had told Willa that she could do that if she changed her hair back to red, since Willa generally dyed it blonde.

Adelaide wrapped her arms around the younger girl. She was kinda like a mini-me. Red hair, liked hobbits. She grinned. "Thanks. I'm still getting used to it. I miss curling my hair." She had always loved doing that and transfiguring a flower to put in her hair. She looked Lux over. "I like it. You look nice." Definitely a new look for the younger ginger.

Yaaay, big squishy hugs were the best, and she had really missed Addi, so she got a nice one. "I might cut my hair at some point, but I'm not sure if it would suit me." And she really did like her hair a lot, because it was so soft and such a pretty red colour.

Giving a little twirl now, she showed off her new look to Addi. She was starting to not mind make overs as much; just like she was starting to not mind kissing, having already kissed both Louis and Donny. "I feel wonderful! How have you been doing? Did you have a nice Christmas holiday?"

Addi bit her lip, looking over the younger girl. "I'm sure you'd look fine. If you didn't like it though, I found a charm to help it grow faster." It was definitely the only reason she was ready to cut her hair in the first place. Not so much commitment.

She giggled as she watched Lux turn around. "Like I said: you look great." Nice break. Addi bit her lip. "Well...I had to go to a couple of my parent's crappy parties...and I kinda broke up with my boyfriend and still feel awful about it." Because yeah. Ty was a nice guy.

"Was your break nice?"

Hmmm, a hair growing charm made the idea seem more appealing to Lux, since it meant that if she did not like it at least there was a faster way for her to return back to normal. "That is awesome! Maybe I will do that then!" Addi was full of great ideas, and she was sure that she could teach her the charm so if she ended up missing her long hair, she would still be okay!

Wait, what? Addi had a boyfriend? "I didn't know you were dating someone. I'm sorry to hear that." Even if she had done the dumping, it was still sad, and she was not going to ask why it had happened unless Addi wanted to talk about it. Even if she was a curious person, she knew when not to be nosy.

Eh, the common room was a bit too stuffy at the moment. So Jun decided to head out and just walk around. Might as well get active again, since he legs had been hurting a bit lately. Actually, all of him had been hurting lately. His mum always told him all those injuries he's had would catch up with him through aging. Boy he wished she was wrong sometimes. It would make life a bit easier. Ending up on the fourth floor, and passed by the big mirror. Might as well admire himself a bit before continuing the walk. Passing his fingers through his hair, the tall boy was thankful no one asked about the color.

People might be getting used to it by now.

Patrolling. Alec was patrolling.

... And his patrolling shift was taking a little longer than usual thanks to the glacial pace in which he was walking. Why did he pick this spot to walk around in? Next time, he was going to pick a spot that was closer to the kitchens. Patrolling was a lot more fun when food was involved. Nodnod.

Oh, a mirror? Erm...? Of all of his seven years at the school, it was only now that the boy was noticing this. Maybe it was one of those places he had constantly looked over, like the beech tree. There was somebody by it, too, but since Alec couldn't tell who it was from the back of his head, he was just... going to sidle up there and...

... examine his hair. And his wrinkles. Or lack of wrinkles, thanks to the Wrinkle-Heal potion. Normal behaviour, this was.

"How long has this been here?" Surely, the boy would know, right?

Adelaide beamed. Gosh it was fun talking to Lux...and the more the talked, the more Addi thought of her as a mini-me. It definitely was a possibility, house aside.

She gave a slight smile. "Yeah, he doesn't go here...which was part of the problem." Long distance and all that. Addi was just too young to mess with that. Not to mention she just couldn't get past West for some awful reason. She really needed to work on that one.

Just as Jun was about to walk away from the mirror, a voice made him look up. What was it with him and meeting the prefects and all? First Lex, well, actually the head girl then Lex, then the Slytherin female one and now the head boy. Did he somehow draw attention to them? Hopefully not because then he wouldn't be able to steal food from the kitchens or hexes annoying people whenever it was needed. Silly authority students.

"Weird question to ask a fifth year considering you've been here longer," Obviously. Head prefect people were seventh years. The boy was two years ahead of Jun. "But I will go ahead and say for a loooooooooooong time," Because no way this mirror looked brand new. Not it did look well taken care of. So yeah, a long, dusty time it's been here. "I'm Jun, fifth year lazy 'claw," He looked at the older boy. And he was lazy. Well, lately because he was tired and in pain, and not to mention losing his memory about things. Oh, and the gray hair. But he dyed it all one color since it was his thing.

Dying his hair a different color every other week.

Awww, no. That sucked! Lux hoped that Addi wasn't sad about it. She gave her friend another big hug and then thought of something. "Would you like some Chocolate Frogs? I have a bunch of them from my sister, and I like sharing them." Chocolate was a great way to get over things like break ups. "Guess what, Addi? I kissed two boys." So she was not grossed out about kissing anymore.

BLINK.

BLINK.

STARE.

So... Alec wasn't that used to recognising the thing called 'sass'. Or sarcasm. So all he could do was stop trying to look at his reflection in the mirror -- which... wasn't showing his reflection -- and turn to look at the boy. "Well... I've never seen it before so... I thought I'd ask." Small frown. "Oh!" Grey-blue eyes glanced back at the mirror. "I wonder why it doesn't show the corridor." Because it was hard to concentrate on his wrinkles and hair when the mirror was showing a room that looked... fancy.

And he was introducing himself too. Awesome. The name, though? It sounded... familiar. "Great to meet you, Jun," Yeah... familiar. Had someone mentioned this name before...? Probably. Jun... Jun... who had mentioned this name to him? "I'm Alec, seventh year awk-- ... erm, Hufflepuff." The boy would find out soon enough that he was awkward.

Addi wrapped her arms around the younger red head once more. Hugs were nice...especially when she felt so awful about the whole situation. She grinned widely at the offer. "Yes please. If I ever turn down chocolate, there is something truly wrong with me." Honest truth. She blinked. She hadn't kissed anyone until she was fifteen. Then again, that was her own fault. "Really? Who? Do you like them?" Even though obviously that hadn't factored into Addi's first kissing experience...

Awesome! Lux was really happy that Addi was going to take her up on her offer of chocolate. Reaching into her bag, she took out two Chocolate Frogs, figuring that it would be good for her friend after being sad. "I will take you to the Healer if that ever happens." Laughing, Lux thought about how awful it would be to not be in the mood for chocolate. "Well, I kissed my friend Louis three times, and my friend Donny once... but I didn't like either of them in that way. And I promised Louis and my other friend Sander that I wouldn't do it anymore." Tessa had explained everything to her, so now she knew it was best not to kiss her friends on the lips, and wait until she had a boyfriend before doing it again.

Addi gladly took the chocolate frogs, shoving them in her pocket for later. "Good. And argue with Tillstorm if she says that's not a real problem. Because it is." Adelaide blinked. Wow. Lux had almost as much kissing experience as she did. Ah. "My first kiss was at a party. We were playing a game. And waiting to kiss a boyfriend is even better." Because yeah. Kissing Ty was always fun. Gosh she missed that.

Lux laughed at the comment about the Healer. "I hope that she has a real appreciation for chocolate because it is supposed to help you feel better. And well, that would apply to any candy in general!" Candy was utterly amazing like cucumber sandwiches were. All this talk about food was making her hungry, so she took out another Chocolate Frog so that she could have one herself. "Oh, I kissed Louis randomly and Tessa, Sander, and Bay saw. Bay got mad because he is protective of me." She nodded. A lot of her friends were protective of her. "Tessa said that boys might lie to me and say they are single when they aren't so that I will kiss them. I had never thought about that, so I am glad that I promised to stop and wait until I am dating." She smiled, because Tessa was so smart and gave really good advice.

No. Way

It was pretty obvious the older boy had not been here before. He was asking too many questions about this mirror. GET IT TOGETHER, HEAD BOY.

"Maybe you should venture the castle more often?" That should light up a lightbulb in his head. For sure. Maybe he should do it while patrolling and all that stuff prefects did. If Jun was prefect, which would be grand if he didn't, but then again it would be, he'd explore all the places normal students couldn't. He wouldn't get into too much trouble. Perks if being a prefect perhaps. "Maybe it's meant to lead somewhere else or something?" The answer should be included in a school history book or something. Maybe the headmistress knew. Jun doubted it. She was probably too busy making her office all pink and stuffs.

Oh good. He was a puffer. Duh to the badge.

"Oh, good. The Gryffindor prefect had told me to meet more puffers. Hope you're not a bad one," Unlike that crazy, rude puffer he met a couple of months ago. And thank goodness he never ran into her again. Too bad Alec had to deal with her now. At least they were all the way down in the kitchens. "So I'm guessing you're on patrol?" Wouldn't be the only reason Alec was around here. But he didn't seem like much of a wanderer anyway.

"I've never met anyone who doesn't like chocolate. I don't think I'd be able to trust someone if they didn't." Because chocolate was super important. Especially since it was about 90 percent of what Adelaide baked with. She popped open the chocolate frog and made sure to stun it so it wouldn't hop away before she took a bite. She kind of blinked as Lux went on about her kissing experiences. She gave the girl a soft smile. "I'm glad you're making such a mature decision."

Giggle. Lux could not argue with Addi there, because that was very true. "That is a very good way to look at things, because I'm not sure if I could be friends with someone who doesn't like Chocolate Frogs." Okay, so that might be a slight exaggeration; if someone was nice and fun, Lux would be their friend even if they hated Chocolate Frogs. That was the kind of girl she was. Yep.

After opening the wrapper, she popped her chocolate in her mouth, chewing it slowly to saver it before swallowing. Yummy Chocolate Frogs. "People are worrying that I am growing up too fast, but Ana said she had her first boyfriend when she was my age, and I don't think I am even at that point yet." Besides, even if she was, she had no idea who she would date.

"Oh I could be friends with them. Trust would just take some time." Probably not. But there seriously had to be something wrong with a person that didn't like chocolate. Something massively wrong. Especially if it was free. She took another bite, finishing off the frog.

She swallowed before she spoke again. "I don't think you're growing up too fast. When I was your age, most of the girl's in my muggle school were starting to date." Which made her feel even more left out. And see. Her friend had said the same thing. "You'll be able to tell when you get there."

"Oh, me too! I don't think I could be mean." Lux was not sure if she could be mean to anyone. Well, maybe the girl who had been rude to Lucas. And anyone else who was mean to her friends... but that was besides the point. Fact still remained that it was strange not to love chocolate and it would be a part of the friendship she would need to get past.

It made her feel a lot better to hear that. "Well, that is a relief! I can just tell my friends that so they can accept that I am not going to be a little 12 year old forever." Come the start of June, she would be a teenager. Louis would probably have a heart attack. "Ooh, yeah. Ana told me about that, and she explained to me what people do on dates and stuff like that." She had learned a lot, because Ana was a great teacher.

Marigold glared at Mitch. "I actually have FRIENDS, you know." Other friends. Not that he was a friend. Oh, whatever. She continued glaring at his right shoulder. Death to you, Mitchell's limb.

She rolled her eyes. "You are a strange person. Must be the American part."
