A spare room located in annex to the Muggle Studies Classroom has been refurbished and renovated to allow muggle technology devices to work. Note: the technology found within this room will only work in this room of the castle.
All the devices are labeled and fully operative and functional, though many of them are bulky and outdated due to the nature of most of them being donated, given lack of adequate funding for newer items. Devices found within the center include several large computer workstations, old flip cellphones (the brick-kind ;D), corded and cordless phones of various styles. The phones all are operative to make local Britain and Scotland outgoing calls. There's also stereos and CD walkmans to listen to music, as you work on homework or study, if you'd like.
All the technology found within this room is open for both students and staff to play with, provided that you have signed a waiver agreement with the Muggle Studies Professor. Anyone caught using the equipment without signing the waiver is subject to punishment, up to and including banishment from the center - permanently.
Sander was surprised when the Professor and Sophie came over to join him at the computer he was working on. He smiled at both of them before making room for Sophie to watch the monitor closely.
....and the monitor lit up. Sander was pleasantly surprised to see that the computer software was not antiquated as he thought it would be. Hearing the Professor describe how the computer could be used to play games on, Sander immediately checked through the folders and was delighted to see one labeled games. He moved the mouse connected to the computer, and double clicked on the folder.
Wah...lah....the monitor display was now filled with moving lights and figures and music could be heard from its speakers.
"It looks like whoever entered the programs into this computer, did a good job of adding a wide selection of interesting games here." Sander informed both Sophie and the Professor.
"I see there's Angry Birds, Candy Crush, Bejeweled Blitz, Starcraft and Battlefield. There's even good old Donkey Kong and Super Mario Brothers. Sophie would you like to try playing one of them? I'm sure Professor Cosgrach here is familiar with some of them. " Sander moved the mouse closer to Sophie.

So actual computer is..." she scanned the area and various cords that were hooked up to point at the big rectangular box thing, "that? That's like the power source and where all the information and technical stuff is stored?" She moved alongside Culloden over to Sander, unsure of why they wanted to not use up all the computers when there were only a few people present, but she figured the man had his reasons. Perhaps other motives? "How come it's not like a television - I mean, a telly is just one big box with the monitor and stuff all attached on that one box - how come the actual computer part isn't built into the monitor, too?"
The console games sounded like a lot of fun, even though the concept was kind of confusing. "I think I'd like that a lot - it sounds super cool. D'you think she would? I mean, if you suggested it and told her it was for learning purposes... technically it WOULD be..." Sophie trailed off, giving Culloden a big grin and an innocent shrug. Just a suggestion.
Ooooooo. So games could be played on the computer? Sophie looked on around Sander with interest. She had no idea what any of the things were that the Hufflepuff had just named off, but the candy one sounded fun. "I think I'd rather watch for now." Because she had no idea how any of it worked and she'd rather not completely embarrass herself in front of the professor, even if he already knew she didn't know anything about any of it. If she wasn't able to pick up on it quickly, she wouldn't want to give her new mentor a reason to be disappointed in her so early on, right?
"You go on, professor, if you want. Show me how it's done?" She was totally begging a little.
...Cosgrach should have known better than that. He should have known questions would come and shouldn't have sounded like he knew it all. He could only guess the difference between a telly and a computer.
His forehead creased as he thought of a satisfying answer. "I... think computer can do more things. I mean, telly is only for watching. Computers are for writing and connecting to the world too." Maybe that box had the... thing to connect it to the world? Whatever it used. He shrugged. He wasn't even going to 'save' the situation; he didn't know it and there was no reason in trying to look 'cool'.
"But computer is that, yes." The metal box thing. It was marvellous Fina found one of these. He thought they were extinct.
"I hope so." He returned her innocent-but-not-really grin with one of his own. "I'll try my chance. I think we will be more lucky if you come with me too." Like, work her charm and ask to 'understand the muggles' or something. Even Sander could come if he wanted, since he was a Hufflepuff too.
He didn't ask the boy there though, because computers required some sort of concentration and Cosgrach didn't want to distract him.
Eeeeh... he didn't know any of the games. He leaned forward and squinted at the screen. "I... haven't played any of these before. I've only played Need For... Speed!, yes, that, and a war game. It was a car race. D'you know what these are?" If Sander knew how to power a computer up, he surely must know some of the games?

Sander had hoped the Professor would know how to play some of the games on the computer. He himself had no idea, so he answered honestly,"Well these games are pretty old so I'm not to familiar with them either but let's try this. Most games have a Tutorial option and it shows you how to play the game." Sander explained as he moved the mouse around until he found the tutorial option for the game called Angry Birds.
"Yes here it is. This game is a one player game. The aim of the game is to catapult these various colored birds over to where the pigs are hiding under those pieces of wood, making the wood fall on them. You know you have a hit when the pig explodes." Sander explained.
They could check the tutorial of the other games if they wanted to.

After hearing and seeing Lottie simply getting excited and bounce a bit over mentioning some of her favorite artists, Tag had been amused and wanted to know more about this. Or, at the very least, her's and his music taste. They hadn't gotten into much detail over this so it would be nice to enjoy this together and actually get the chance to hear one another's music. Hopefully. And Lottie had suggested the perfect place.
Tag had never been in here so this was his first time, ever. So this entire place was new to him. Nope. Pun. Everything in here was ancient. Literally. Tag could easily break one of those computers with a stone. Why did he need a stone when he had a wand? He had no idea. But, anyway, "Where do we start?" He asked facing the brunette. Stereos, cd player or computers?

Honestly, she's never paid any attention to herself while she listened to music, you know? Chances are Tag is going to be extremely disappointed if Lottie ended up being her usual calmed self, yes? Probably. There was only one way to know, though. That's why they were here. For the music, mainly.
It was also kind of amusing to step in into ancient times. Botros ought to feel right at home, right? Maybe it was a bit advanced for him.
Seriously? "Well, that would depend on what you wanna listen to first," his unexpected music taste, which shouldn't have surprised Lottie too much, considering he was Tag, or hers. "We start here, though," she added, leading him to the stack of CDs of Hadley's choice. The Beatles were there, because she'd found them with Olly, but she also asked her uncle to send her something, just in case. She'd be in so much trouble if something happened to those CDs, though. They were incredibly hard to find.

No. Tag would not be disappointed in the slightest. They were going to enjoy, or maybe not enjoy, depending on whether they liked what the other did, music. Either way, there would be enjoyment of music, yes.
What he wanted to listen to first. He opened his mouth to start speaking, but then she was talking again, look who was stealing Tag's job, and leading him to the back of the room, which he followed like an obedient crup. NOW he could speak. What they could listen to first. The blonde riffled through some of the cds and realized that not too many of his artists that he listened to were there. "We might need to use the computer for the stuff I listen to. I doubted that the cds would be here, since the bands are slightly more obscure." Or at least that a large population of teenagers would listen to and make the artists more noticeable.
"Why don't we listen to Lenny Kravitz?" He asked her. Seeing as he hadn't even known who the guy was and the moment Lotus had mentioned him Tag had been amused and intrigued by her behavior.

Yeah, right, we'll see. Or in this case hear. But, like, how could you not like The Beatles, right? Not even her grandfather was alive for them. Maybe just for Ringo and Paul when they were old. Erm... where were we?
Last time she was here she remembered thinking how she'd be asking Hadley to bring more variety to the tiny collection she had here, but that clearly didn't happen, and she'd rather ask her uncle instead. For music she actually enjoyed. It was definitely better. Oh? They had to use the computer? Well, sure, fine, they could do that first or... not, apparently. She was nodding slightly until he mentioned Lenny Kravitz and then she nodded even more, POSITIVELY BEAMING, too. "Yes, okay, sure, no problem, of course." And she was still beaming! And nearly bouncing a little. NEARLY. It was the proper reaction to hearing that man's name, of course.
It was with utmost care that she took out the CD from her bag and set it on one of the stereos... yes, why not, it wasn't gonna be loud, anyway. But yes, she was being very careful. And instead of pressing play or something she turned towards Tag, the bright smile she'd been wearing faded slightly because what she wanted to say was serious, "You need to listen, carefully," to Lenny Kravitz, that is, "And learn how to play this song, too...," she smiled, "...if you truly, truly like me."Wink. No pressure or anything.

Look at that smile on her face! Very nice. Though Tag supposed it was more because of the mention of Mr. Lenny rather than him, but he still enjoyed that she was smiling. "We'll listen to my music after you." He said, just making things extra clear. Excitement. It is clearly seen on her face. And maybe her tiptoes. Maybe. But it was definitely clear that she was excited, to some level. Clearly!
Wow. Lottie had a cd disc on her. "That's ancient!" Tag said, gently poking the case of the cd. So so sooooo ancient. And then the attention was back on Tag. She hadn't seen him had she? The boy tried to act natural, was that even a vocabulary in Tag's mind, and glanced all about the room. "Listen, play, truly truly like, got it boss!" Tag said nodding and saluting her, with a bright smile. Buuutttt, "Its kinda hard to learn how to play something if I don't have the right equipment, you know." He told her, just raising one eyebrow. So, pay up Lotus.

Yes, it was more because of Lenny than Tag. Lenny is at a whole different level, you ought to know this. He was also dead, and a legend, so. Okay, good. Lottie nodded once he spoke. They'll listen to his music afterwards, no problem. There was truly no rush at all. "Deal."
The cd? Yes, incredibly ancient, "And my uncle's, so I have to be extra careful with it," you too, Tag, you have to be even more careful with it, a gentle poke is fine, though. But still, if he liked destruction then he ought to stay away from it. Granted, Lottie was the one who'd handled the cd, Hyacinth had nothing to worry about. Nod, nod. She was back to smiling in no time. And then he mentioned the guitar, sigh. "Understandable, but your guitar is back home, and that's the one you have to use, actually," electric guitar, you see, "So you learn it when you're home, and then play it for me." Technically, he probably had like three days to learn the song, or at least the beginning. We can foresee plenty of things going wrong, or not getting done at all.
"It's such a shame you can't see him, because he was so perfect." Watching Lenny Kravitz play. She's seen footage, and just... perfection.
You know, Lotus, you can press play any minute now... any minute.

Yes, deal. They'd both listen to each other's music. That had already been established, hadn't it? At some point. It couldn't be remembered too well, but there was establishment somewhere.
Which meant Tag had to be incredibly careful with it. He didn't want her family hating him or anything. Or at least, anyone else that wasn't Lottie's father. Dads. "I'll stop poking it then." He told her with a smile. Better be extra careful. Take no chances. The whole situation with the guitar was, to say the least, ridiculous. But at least Lotus was getting practice in. "That's right my guitar is back home. I just thought my girlfriend meant that she wanted me to learn to play this song as soon as possible. But thank you for clearing it up, boss!" He said, smiling and saluting to her. And, "Yes, of course, I'll learn it for you." The leprechaun probably wouldn't be brilliant at the song, but he'd do his best.
"I can look at pictures of him, you know. And then you mentioned him being in those Hunger Games movies right? We're still watching that?" Right? She'd said that, he believed.
Also, Lottie was taking an awful amount of time to start the song, wasn't she? An so the boy gently pushed the 'play' button on the stereo and waited for the music to start.

Exactly. When Lottie said she was the one who had to be extra careful while handling the cd, she actually meant Tag, but he understood rather quickly, so it was all good. The Hogwartian smiled in return, acknowledging his words. Just exactly how many more times would someone keep on poking the case, though? The smile turned into a smirk rather quickly. He'd been right, up to an extent, "Yes, as soon as possible, but once you're home," she almost immediately beamed once he agreed! Good then, she couldn't start with Lenny Kravitz when she was still trying with The Beatles. Oasis was probably the easiest to try first, but what did she know?
It's not the same, "Performances, not pictures," there were no moving pictures of him, that she was aware of, that is. "Of course we are," she added with a bright smile, "Over the holidays," it was a plan. Mmhmmm. Same as this one. Only nothing was actually planned, oops.
No, wait, Tag! "It's not the first one...," the one she wanted him to listen to, so she quickly pressed forward seven times. The eighth song in this album. Fly Away, of course. Granted, she forgot how many Astronomy terms the song had, but whatever. She was looking away, and biting her lip. Self-conscious. She's never felt that way. There's always a first time, though.

Yes, it was clearly understood that Tag was the greater danger. At least when it came to stuff he could get himself in trouble with. Like all this equipment. One trip and everything could go down with him. But, he wasn't allowed to poke the cd case anymore? That wasn't any fun. So, POKE! Did Lottie see? No. She shouldn't have. Must've been distracted. But to keep her more distracted Tag simply petted her hair. "Being careful, got it." He said with a grin and thumbs up. "I'll get to working on your song over the holidays!" Emphasis. And not actually her song, but the one she was asking him to learn. "But you got it, boss!" Salute.
Lottie had never been to any of his performances, Lenny's. So they were on the same page. Onto other things though, like the movie. "I'm anticipating Lenny's acting skills." Whether he was any good or not, Tag would be figuring that out in a couple of weeks. "Hunger games, over the holidays, it is then." Though, that'd sort of already been planned before.
Tag laughed when Lottie quickly had to forward the songs. Whoops. Well, that's what happened when one took forever to press play. Wasn't that hardto do, Lotus. So, the boy listened to the song, staying completely silent. But then went over to the direction that Lottie was facing. She could cry, scream, smile, laugh, dance, bounce, squeal fangirl and giggle all she wanted. Tag was here to see that too. No need for shyness.
"What I've gathered... would you like to fade away into the sun, Lotus?" Smirk. "It also made me kind of hungry and I want a milky way candy bar right now."
Though, onto serious matters. "Its got this rock sound, yeah. And the bass it sounds a bit like funk." At least that's what he heard. "Is there a particular lyric in here that stands out to you? Or is it just the entire song you enjoy? Is this your favorite song?" We knew Lottie didn't have any favorites. But who was she kidding? She had favorites.

It wasn't that he couldn't poke the case anymore, just that it was relatively curious why he'd kept doing so. Nothing was gonna get out of the case, you know? Though, it'd be cool if some sort of hologram appeared by mere touch. Wicked. This wasn't going to happen. And no, she didn't see, but she heard him and she simply smiled while shaking her head ever-so-lightly. Oh, she was distracted, alright. Didn't mean she wasn't paying attention to him, though. So, yes, over the holidays, and that one last 'got it' made her wink his way. It was the salute, you see.
No, unfortunately, she had never seen him perform live. Truly unfortunate. But she was still beaming, and slowly bouncing again. The Hunger Games. Cinna. Lenny Kravitz. Refrains from telling any sort of spoilers.
Hey! No laughing! She just really wanted him to listen to that song, after all, that's the one he was supposed to learn. Excuse us, she had alllllll the right in the world to be slightly shy about this, yeah? Particularly since he was monitoring her every move. Which mostly included a bright, very bright smile, and some bouncing at the right times, yet she was trying to keep this as low-key as possible. Not sure she actually succeeded.
OMG. Yes, she had forgotten the lyrics to the song! Cue mad blushing. Redder than ever, her face was. It wasn't meant to be so literal! Or in a figuratively manner, because LOL, what?! "Are you asking me to, Kildare?" She still managed a smirk of her own. Then she laughed, "I don't know where we can get one of those right now," maybe Lex had one? Or Alec? They could ask Alec, he was more willing to share candy with everyone.
Nodding was happening, she wasn't looking for a definition of the genre, but that was kind of nice of him. "Not really, just the song," like, in general. She shook her head next, while still holding a smile. Favorites. WELL. "From Kravitz, yes, I prefer this one over the others." Her ultimate favorite song... wow, that was a tough one, she probably didn't really have one. Does anyone?

Ok, this whole poking the cd case thing was getting boring. So Tag immediately stopped that. Boring and no fun too. A wink was received, and Tag gave one back to Lottie. Just because. She deserved one, yeah.
More amusement from Tag, which made him chuckle. Yes, the excitement was clearly seen in Lottie. And her feet probably too. She always got like that when she started talking about something that made her excited. As the song continued Tag just kept watching her, yes, clearly excited. Look at her face. Like, really look at it. She was smiling, and yes, more of that hop hop she did. Tag looked around themselves. Thankfully there didn't seem to be anyone else here. Lottie would probably be mortified if someone saw her acting in this way, out in public, where people could see her.
"You're such a tomato, right now, Lotus." He clearly pointed out to her as he poked both of her cheeks. In case she didn't know where the tomato was most prominent. "I am. I asked you first, though. So, don't avoid the question and answer it." Was she going to fade into the sun? That sounded, literally, painful. Let's hope it wouldn't actually happen. "Alec is probably more willing to share...any candy that he has." But would he have a milky way candy was the real and actual question here. Because Alec bought Lottie candy at the beginning of every term, right? And Lex would probably have a lock to deal with to get candy from her.
"Ahhh. So its a matter of preference and not favoritism." He said smiling a bit. "Any other song you want to listen to? Or rather, want me to listen to?" He didn't care how long they'd be here doing this.

Thank you for the wink. Well-deserved, apparently. And yes, exactly. Music was incredibly important, and she still wasn't paying attention to how she was acting, technically, she was in denial of many things, though, maybe she wouldn't be mortified if someone else saw her, you know? She only cared for what one person thought of her, that's all.
Why, there was no need to point it out! Yet he always did. Lottie merely shook her head, "It's the heat, you know, the room is too warm," it couldn't possibly be the sun this time around, because there was literally no sun. Yet her cheeks only got redder as he poked them. WHY THANKS FOR THAT! Now, back to fading into the sun, she laughed, the loudest laugh she could muster, which wasn't nearly as loud as Tag's. "I'm not avoiding the question," was she gonna answer? It was quite an scandalous question, though, depending on points of view and whatnot, "Literally, NO. Of course I won't fade into the sun," Icarus, remember? She wasn't doing that. "Figuratively... it kinda depends on many things."Wink.
Alec, of course. "And if he's in the Common Room, then he's not too far away." They were in the first floor, after all. Actually, Lottie still has Alec's candy, she just didn't know what was left of it.
"Because I don't have favorites," more denial. His next question, though, she actually thought about it and then took out the cd. "No. You will take other lyrics slightly literal and it can become awkward." Considering the songs and all. So, no. Maybe Robbie Williams was better for sharing. Lenny clearly wasn't.
Unless it's posted in a VM she is in denial of things :P

By this point it should be rather obvious that Tag would be the one to point out the redness in Lottie's cheeks. That's something he was always on the lookout for. Then she was blaming it on the heat of the room. Which made Tag laugh so loud he started choking for a few seconds. Though, after gaining his composure he started to talk, " The heat? There's no literal sun, it's cold and it's winter. Where is all the heat coming from?" That might hold her back in a comment. Heh. And more redness. Lottie would need to apply blush, if she did that, to cover up the blush. But no more comments about that. " It sounds painful and very dangerous fading away into the sun. I would not recommend it. " And with the wink Tag figured this would be a safe moment to keep everything literal.
"You should ask him for candy, one of these days. And by that I mean later today." Just to make things as clear as possible.
Right, no favorites,. Everyone knew Lottie went by that rule. Sarcasm. " Awkward. But that's almost a speciality of mine! Another day, then. "

Talk about loud! Merlin! And yet all Lottie could was smile widely at him. Glad you find this whole thing amusing, Kildare. She sort of was, too. Always. Granted, she kept her wand close-by, in case she had to bring him back to life or whatever. He's never laughed so loud, right?! But he was fine, no need for wands. Lol! No sun. Cold. Winter. WAY TO RUIN THIS! Lottie opened her mouth to say something, but then closed it again. There was literally no excuse, right? "How should I know? Can't you feel it?" Because she definitely could feel it, in her cheeks, that is. No lies here. It was actually very warm.
"I wouldn't recommend it either. Nope." She replied, shaking her head slightly. Again, ask Icarus. What a failure.
Laughter was happening again, though. "Yeah, I'll ask him once we're out of here, actually," unless he was hidden in a world unknown to this Hogwartian and she was unable to find him in a timely manner.
"Another day." Somewhere else. Maybe during the holidays, too, considering they were bound to watch him in the movies and all. "We should move over to your songs, though." She was actually curious about that. The cd went back in the case. Another day, indeed.

The obvious concern of the choking boyfriend was written all over Lottie's face. All over that, she was actually laughing AT HIM! THANKS FOR THE HELP! He could've died. Dramatic, much? But the reaction was noticed. And Tag had smirked. Yep. He'd beat her on that one. "I can't feel it. Lottie, I mean, in terms of the room being warm. Its actually rather cold for me. You must be wearing a lot of layers." That was the only reasonable explanation.
"That one dude flew into the sun, right? If he were still alive I'm sure he'd be able to tell you how it feels, to fade away into the sun. But, seeing as he's not here, its not possible. But you're smart, and wouldn't do that." And not to mention it was impossible. Icarus was only trying
She was going to ask Alec, good. "I wouldn't worry though. I'm sure that guy would restock candy for me in a heartbeat if you said it were for me." Really. Alec would probably move at the speed of light to get Tag whatever he wanted. Actually...
Lottie mentioned songs though. They'd only listened to one of her songs. Were they going to just switch back and forth? There was always more time during the holidays to enjoy this. The blonde waited till Lottie was done packing and putting away her things before he went to go sit down at one of the computers. He turned it on and then went onto a website, typed in the band's name 'One Night Only' and the title of the song 'All I want' into the little search bar. And then he pressed the play button that was on the screen."Listen." As if she needed to be told that.
And yes he was smiling and watching her the whole time. Though, halfway through he stopped smiling, still watching but no smiling. It could get slightly creepy.

Oh, yes, she was concerned. Very. That's why her wand had been within reach, you see. Tag wasn't actually dying, at any rate she was. From the heat, yeah? Exactly. And that smirk on his face was oh-so-visible. She almost glared at him. Didn't, though. "Yes, I must be wearing lots of layers." Whatever that meant. Clearly, that's what was wrong and that's why her cheeks had reddened and felt incredibly warm. CLEARLY.
Yeah, he tried to, "But he never made it." To the sun, that is. She's smart, though, and wouldn't try that, so Tag was right. About the literal part of it all, anyway.
OH? REALLY? Lottie raised both her eyebrows at the Gryffindor boy, "I don't have to say it's for you, he'd do it for me as well."Smirk. Yes, she was certain of this, and she had a very legit reason for believing such a thing would happen. The fact that Alec was such a nice boy didn't have anything to do with it, though. Yet that helped. What reason was that, you ask? *shifty*
Lottie had mentioned songs, yes, but no more Lenny Kravitz for them, okay? Maybe Robbie Williams, yup. We'll just see. Once the case was safely inside the bag, she sat next to Tag and waited for him to start whatever song he was gonna share with her. How could she not think of this?? They could search for a video of Mr. Kravitz next! (And yes, we know that would involved listening to him, yup)
Still, so she was sitting next to him and almost rolled her eyes at his words. Really, Tag? Of course she'd listen. Merlin. The song started, and it took her a while to get used to the sound, honestly, but a smile slowly made way to her face and she rested her head on his shoulder near the end of the song. Mmhmm. "That's actually nice." She didn't expect it.

Lottie didn't know anything. That was a lie. She probably knew lots of things. But Tag was clearly choking, and she barely took any sort of precautions and there was barely a reaction. Jeez Lotus, Tag could've done just the same with her, take his wand, but unlike her he would've actually had a real reaction. Probably a panicky one, when he didn't know what to do, but it'd be a reaction none the less. This will be kept in mind for the future. "You are wearing a lot. In case you don't know." In case she didn't know.
"I'm not sure if 'he never made it' to the sun is a good or bad thing." Sort of a lose lose situation yeah? "So... did he like 'not exist' anymore?" He said slowly, carefully choosing his words. Especially that word.
"Yeah yeah, sure he'd do it for you." He said waving it off simply. But then he spoke quietly, "But if you can, put in a word for me too? I'd like some candy. I'm running out of the ones I bought over the summer." Alec would give anyone anything they wanted. He'd go to the moon and back to please people.
Yes, really. Silence. Tag was watching, but again, not as much as he had at the very beginning of the smile. But she was smiling. That was always a good sign. Hopefully it meant she liked it. The sound. Not even the song or band, but just the sound of it. "Yeah?" That put a bright smile on his face. "Were you surprised by it?"

We're extremely positive she wouldn't let him die, don't worry. Wait, what? She couldn't help but look at her outfit and... she wasn't wearing too many layers, but she wouldn't admit this to Tag, nope, "Yes, I know," not really, no, but this is the only option she had left. Technically, Kildare just won.
Sorry, Icarus, sorry, wherever you are. Tag's words only made Lottie laugh, rather loudly too, particularly for the topic at hand. It's a bad thing, clearly, because he was dead anyway, whether he'd reached the sun or not. "I don't know either." There was something she did know, however, and she said it as if it was no big deal. "Oh, no, he drowned."Ouch. Death by water seemed rather ironic if one considered he'd been trying to leave an island. Ironic, or obvious.
Yes, he'd do it for her. And then she smirked, "That's not exactly my problem, Kildare."Wink. That he was running out of candy. But she wasn't mean, so she'll definitely mention Tag to Alec.
Her smile only widened at his voice, though, "Yeah," she replied, "I wasn't expecting to like it...," so it was a real surprise, "...that was surprising for me." It took her probably a minute, but she ended up liking it. See, surprising. "What exactly would this be?" Genre-wise, that's what she meant.

"Good. Just felt like pointing that out to you." Yeah, no, she wasn't wearing a lot. Tag would just shut up over this. But he did express a smirk to her which probably said it all.
Laughter was happening. Ok. He wasn't trying to make a joke out of this or something, but hey, as long as she was laughing it was all right. Its not like he or Lottie could do anything about Icarus now. Drowning to death. That sounded terrible. But, unfortunately Tag was going to try and make a joke. Sigh. "Sounds like he left the world with a big splash." The boy sat incredibly still, watching what type of reaction Lottie would have. Granted, it was a rather lame joke.
"I'm a friend of Alec's. You're a friend of Alec's. You're immediately a part of my problem." That really didn't make sense but it was the best he could come up with.
Oh. Nice. She actually liked his music. "Well, I'm glad you did." He said smiling at her. "The type of music? Uhhh..." Tag hesitated for a while while he thought through it. "I think its alternative rock, maybe. Yes. We can check it up." If she was that worried about it. But Tag highly doubted it was a major concern of her's.

Can we just stop talking about whether she was wearing too many layers or not? It was a really odd topic of conversation to say the least, and it could turn awkward (it sort of did in her mind), soooo... she stopped it. Lottie didn't say anything, this way he didn't have to comment on silence. Hopefully.
OMG. A joke?! Merlin! Her own comment hadn't been exactly nice in regards to Icarus, really, but now he was making a joke out of his death? You cannot deny Icarus had been an idiot, which is why she almost laughed again, but she decided to shake her head instead. The signs of possible laughter were on her eyes and the way she was biting her lip. But nope, she wouldn't laugh this time. Nope, no more jokes. Did Daedalus laugh? Perhaps, but we won't.
Wait a minute, wait a minute. Confusion hit her when Tag spoke of Alec and both being friends with the Head Boy, but that hadn't been the confusing part. She straightened up a bit and looked at him, a slight frown could be easily seen on her face, "I'm a problem?" Hmmmm? Part of a problem was still a problem.
Of course he was glad, and she was a bit relieved, honestly. Waiting. She waited for Tag to answer her question and then she shrugged, "It's okay, it's not that important," so, he could look it up whenever, or they could say it was alternative rock. "Anything else?" That he wanted her to listen to? "You said you knew who Robbie Williams was, right?" Was it only Kravitz the one he'd never heard of? She couldn't remember at the moment.

Silence. Tag definitely heard that. You know, Tag was that kid, in grade school, that once the room came completely silent he'd be the one to say 'why'd it get so quiet?' then the whole class would start talking again. Tag was always talking. But yes, this topic was definitely left now.
Barely any reaction from her. "Tough crowd." Tag said, shaking his head as well while letting out a long sigh. He needed to back himself up with a good joke. Even if it was lame. It had to make her laugh. "What did the big flower say to the smaller flower?" This would definitely be a winning joke. She knew this one.
Right. His words. Always had to watch out for that. "No, you're not a problem. If you were one, I would've made it clear. Nothing to worry about. " He reassured her with a smile. She was not a problem in any way at all. Tag should've made his previous statement more clear or had said it differently. "Don't frown. Smile. I like your smile." So smile, Lotus!
"I know it isn't too important. But you asked." So he had to answer. Even if he wasn't quite too sure what genre that band fit. He'd be checking it out later. "Yes! I know you said you think I listen to pop, right?! Yes, I think you said that. I do listen to some. But its not regular pop, at least I think. I mean, the band is Danish. They don't sing in danish. But still!... This is the first song I heard of them!" And the boy quickly typed in Alphabeat and the song Hole In My Heart. He was clearly excited for her to listen to this, cause he was kind of moving around a lot in his seat.

LOL! Yes, the toughest crowd there is. The situation demanded the crowd to get tougher, you know? Timing is everything with these things. Sorry, Tag. And then... then he went ahead and told the one joke she'd approved of, a wide smile appeared on her face as a soft laugh left her lips. She didn't reply, even if she knew the answer by heart, Lottie just shook her head while keeping that smile in place. She also kissed his cheek, mainly because she knew what he was trying to do.
Words and Wisterias. It was relatively surprising how Tag hasn't had many issues with this, actually. He tends to say the right things most of the times, except moments ago when he mentioned Lottie being part of his problem. But she really wasn't, "What did you mean, then?" Nothing to worry about, got it. Then she smiled just for him. Mmhmm.
Nod. Sure, Tag, just let us know what genre it is when you find it, there's no rush. Wow. He was talking fast! And, okay, Danish. Good thing they don't sing in Danish, then, because all she had was that bit of Swedish she learned while visiting Sweden and she was beginning to forget that too. Kind of hard when you don't keep in touch with Emilie, she's the only one she could 'practice' with. That she knows of. Anyway, Tag typed as quickly as he spoke, didn't give her a chance to read anything, either.
Unfortunately, the outcome differed from One Night Only, she sneaked another kiss to his cheek and shook her head, "Sorry. Not this one." She'd liked the other one, which was a good thing.

She may not have said anything, but that entire reaction told Tag he had won. At least, in succeeding using a joke today. Lottie was probably giving him the answer in her mind. Lame joke that he used all the time to diffuse tension. Which there rarely ever is. "What's up, bud?" Tag said smilingly brightly and nudging her a bit. And the little kiss was appreciated yes.
Now. Words. He had to say exactly what he had meant earlier. Not that he had meant that Lottie was a bad thing. No. So, he didn't want to dig himself deeper into a hole. "I meant it more as of a concern. Something to think over. Not a problem." Yes. Exactly like that. Hopefully that cleared it up for her.
He really liked this band, so of course there was excitement in his speech. Granted Tag had shown Lottie the song's slightly older sound (it'd be REALLY old) rather than the newer stuff. Maybe if he showed her the newer stuff she may enjoy it. But, nothing would be pressed here. It was a no go for this band, though. Which made Tag's shoulder's slump slightly, but he didn't mind cause he got a little special treat after words. At least she was being honest. "That's all right. I'm still glad you liked One Night Only." No harm done.
Now, back onto Lottie. "Robbie Williams now, right? I've heard of him, and have a song or two of him. So, yes, he's not completely new to me. Go on. Give me your song." The blonde said happily smiling at his girlfriend as he gently moved the keyboard towards her hands.
