The castle houses numerous suits of armour, scattered all about, but one of the most impressive collections can be found on the second floor, as if guarding the way to the Headmistress' chambers. Why, even their spacing down this corridor could be a deliberate attack pattern.
Careful what you try with these dusty, dirty, squeaky knights. They can be rather... animated.
Adeline found a nice little place to set up her things for a tea party, she laid out a blanket on the floor and started to set up some light green tea cup with white polka dots. She set out some different varieties of tea, a bowl filled with sugar cubes, some teaspoons and small plates that match the cups. Nothing like suits of armor to have a tea party with if no one shows any interest in tea, little sandwiches and candies.
She really hoped that she wouldn't have to have a tea party by herself. Adeline made herself some peppermint tea with honey and a cinnamon stick. She had some extra things in her bag for her tea but she would take that out when there were people here with her.
It was just her and suits of armor.

Bay was told there was a tea party…. yeah he knew it was kind of girly but he hasn't seen Adeline in a while.. classes and homework makes everyone so busy.. so Bay was happy for the distraction.
Bay stopped as soon as he saw it… green tea cups…. polka dots?? wow not to shabby… "Hey Adeline!!!" he said while going to sit down beside her.. "Maybe i have a cup of tea please" he said while smiling.

Wanting to speak to more suits of armour and maybe meet a knight who had worked for King Arthur, Lux walked among the different ones on display and tried to get them to socialize with her. Why wasn't it working like last time? This sucked.
Pout.
Sighing, she spotted Adeline and Bay and... "Tea!" Smiling, she approached them. "Hey, guys. Are we having a tea party?" Sitting on the blanket with them, she crossed her legs and looked at the different varieties that Adeline had laid out.

Adeline nervously ran her fingers through her still greying hair, she now had wrinkles too and her hearing seemed to be a bit off. She had to be losing her mind, right? Adeline shrugged and smiled at Bay. "Hey, Bay." she smiled. "Well of course you can." She grinned pouring him a cup of tea and handing the cup. "I also have some food to, if you'd like some." Everyone wanted food, food was amazing. "How have you been?" He had to be up to something interesting.
Was that redhead over there, Lux? Adeline squinted, were her eyes going to hell just like her ears? The seventh year shook her head and frowned. "Yup, yup, a tea party." Adeline smiled at Lux. "So how have you been, Lux?" Adeline grabbed the tea pot and started to pour Lux a cup of tea. "You want some tea?" she gestured the full tea cup to the girl.

Bay took the tea and as soon as she food.. "awesome this was a great random walk… i get tea and food and I get to hang out with you and Lux" as Lux sat down to join them "Hey Cucumber" he said while getting more comfortable.. "I'm doing great besides not remembering who I am half the time, how about you?" he asked her.

Yaaay, she got some tea! Happily, she took the cup from Adeline and had a sip. "I've been doing wonderful. How about you." The tea made her feel even better, warming her all the way to her bones.
She giggled at what Bay said. "Yet you never forget who I am, right Bay?" He better not start forgetting either.
Ana trudged down the corridor near the suits of armour on her way too.... Actually, she couldn't remember where she'd been heading, or why she'd been heading there. That had been happening a bit more frequently than she'd like lately. She was only lucky that she hadn't forgotten her reasons for going anywhere important yet. Touch wood.
Ana stopped by a suit of armour and scrunched her face up slightly as she began to think. Just because where she was heading wasn't all that important. She didn't have any classes today so it couldn't have been, didn't mean that she didn't want to remember. She was on the second floor... could she have been heading for the bathroom? That was on this floor too. She didn't think she needed to go though, unless she'd been going to fix her hair?

Tessa resisted ht urge to grumble under her breath as she shuffled along the halls. Her joints HURT! And the cold weather wasn't helping. It was definitely worse outside, but inside the castle was chilly too- especially near some more drafty places.
She was quite happy to reach a warmer stretch and sighed in relief. She studied the armors, admiring how shiny they were. She could see herself in them. Realizing this, she tucked a bit of hair behind her ear and smiled at her reflection. However, that smile quickly turned into a funny face.
She moved to the next one, which had a slightly different shape, and made a different face, her face contorting in the metal. She began to giggle- and then realized that she wasn't alone in the corridor.
"Ana!" she exclaimed, waving to the other girl. "Come look at my face in this chest plate!" she said, giggling.

Nope, she was pretty sure she wasn't heading to the bathroom. She looked fine, and thanks to that ointment stuff they'd made in Potions she didn't have any wrinkles to worry about. Was she maybe heading to somewhere up above this floor? She could have been but if she was she didn't know which floor she was walking to. Ana was so absorbed in her own thoughts that she didn't even notice she wasn't alone at first.
She patted down her hair in a suit of armour and was about to turn around and head back to the Common Room when she spotted Tessa pulling funny faces at the armour. She was so silly. Ana had already started to make her way over when the other girl called out to her. Timing. She had it.
"Tessa," she returned, moving slower than usual as she walked towards her friend. "That looks weird," she informed her as she examined her reflection, before promptly pulling her own face.

Tessa grinned as the other girl walked over. "Of course it does! The way the chest plate is shaped is perfect for making funny faces funnier!" she said with a giggle as she titled her head and stuck out her tongue to the armor.
"I'm going to see if I can find another silly one!" she said, forgetting her achy knees for a moment and bouncing over to the next suit of armor. This one elongated her face, and she gave a laugh at the sight. "This is like a fun house!" she said, making another silly face at her reflection.
"I'm not distracting you from something important, am I?" she asked, looking at Ana with a smile. After all, that was what she typically did anyway.

Ana nodded in agreement, what Tessa was saying was true. It was perfect for making silly faces sillier. It was childish fun but Ana couldn't help but to enjoy it. She hadn't felt childish in a long time, maybe not since her dad died, and it was past time for her to have some fun.
"Not the fun house," Ana groaned as she pirouetted in front of a different suit of armour, watching the way her body distorted. "I could never find my way out of those," she lamented. Last time she'd been in one she'd ended up sobbing on the ground because she couldn't figure out where the exit was. A six year old girl had led her out. She never spoke of that incident because it was too embarrassing.
"I don't think so. If you are I don't remember, and if I don't remember it can't have been all that important," Ana reasoned as she found a suit of armour that made her face look all squished up.

Tessa made a few more faces and then moved on to the next suit, and the next. This really was almost too fun. She hoped the wrong person didn't come around the corner, and some of the Professors might not approve... oh well.
Tessa laughed at Ana's reaction. "Very true- but luckily for us, we're in a straight hall and can't get lost. And, as hard as I've tried, I haven't been able to find any secret passages for us to get lost in," she replied with a pout. "However, that means that we can have more fun with making faces!" she said, and bounced over to the next suit of armor.
"Having problems with your memory too?" she sympathized. "I swear, there are mornings where it takes me a moment to remember where I am, and what my name is," she said with a sigh. "But, apparently we aren't doing anything better- might as well make faces!" she said with a laugh.
"So, are you enjoying Hogwarts so far?" she asked.

Tessa had a point. Surely she couldn't get lost walking in a straight line. Ana was sure that most of her problems stemmed from the fact that the staircases moved. Or at least that was her excuse. Really she was just pants at directions until she got out into the open. She could get anywhere and everywhere in the grounds without a care in the world.
"We are so childish," Ana declared somewhat despairingly. They really should act more their age. It still didn't stop her from skipping, bad joints forgotten in the moment of fun, to another suit of armour and striking a pose. Oh yeah. She was looking fiiiine.
"I am. I'd swear it was the stress of OWLs except people from every year seem to be having the same problem," including firsties, and Ana didn't know what they had to be worried about. First year was a breeze. Tessa forgot her own name sometimes? Strange. Ana hoped that wouldn't happen to her.
"I am, although more the people than anything else," Ana replied, expression turning soft as she thought of one person in particular.

Tessa laughed at Ana's declaration. "I don't know," she said, posing in front of another armor chest plate. "I would say we're more over-the-hill," she laughed, pulling at her wrinkles in her reflection and making some more silly faces. "Which means, this behavior is much more necessary- it keeps us old folks young!" she said, laughing. In her own mind, although her appearance would be old, she had decided to never grow up. She was always going to have fun and play.
"Yeah, I don't have any testing this year," she said with a frown. "And I can't say I've been stressed about Quidditch tryouts or anything," she said with a frown. It took a lot to get her stressed- and her father hadn't stressed her out more this year than other years.
"The people?" she asked, hearing something in Ana's voice that caught her attention. "Is there someone that you're thinking about?" she asked with a grin, the suits of armor momentarily forgotten as she walked back toward her friend.

You know, Tag was making way for the kitchens, to make himself a drink or food which he would ask the elves to make for him when he got easily distracted by the suits of armours that caught his attention.
The boy stood in front of them and examined them very very carefully. They wouldn't come alive right now, would they? Could they, was the more important question. He hated it when people stood still and then popped out of nowhere giving the blonde a fright. So, he took a few steps back, this way, if one of them decided to scare him, Tag wouldn't be in direct line to get himself a heart attack.
His Hufflepuffs wouldn't enjoy being left with that knowledge. Yes, Hufflepuffs. Plural.

On Bliss' walk around the castle - her stress relieving walk, if you will - she did not expect to come face to face with someone who had basically cut her out of his life, but here she was. Okay, maybe she wasn't being very fair to him. Definitely. She had done things that she'd shouldn't have done to him and hurt him in way nobody deserved to be hurt, but he hadn't given her much chance to make up for it afterwards. He'd even made it clear that he probably wouldn't talk to her, or want to talk to her, again. And that was tough, so couldn't exactly blame her for not staying in touch. In fact, the only person she had kept in contact with was West.
She'd basically abandoned anyone.
And being stood here in front of Tag only reminded her of that again.
This walk was supposed to get rid of stress, not cause more, but apparently the world was not a wish granting factory. Quoting her favourite book ever right there, ahem. Irrelevant. Yes. She did need to distract herself, though, as this was getting awkwarder by the second. "Hi," she mumbled pathetically, unsure what to say. "...hi." Could she run away yet?

Just enjoying the view here. Yep. Just enjoying it. At this point he would've preferred those guys actually coming alive. At least something was happening. A person could only stare or examine something for so long before it got boring. And he was definitely getting bored.
So, the blonde turned on his heel, ready to make his way down to the kitchen but then took a step back when he saw who was standing in front of him. And greeting him. Hmmmm. He looked beside him, just to be sure there wasn't anyone else around that Bliss could be addressing but alas, it was just the two of them.
Tag had seen her around the school. In classes, around the corridors and what not. He just never really cared, or bothered, for that fact, to specifically acknowledge her. Even if she had been back at the castle for quite some time. So it came as no surprise to see her. He was actually surprised she was trying to talk to him. Trying.
Took her quite some time to do this, you know. Come up to him. Just like last time. Always quiet, keeping to herself. Not that Tag cared.
No 'hi' or 'hey' backs, though. Not now at least. Tag wanted to see how she would go on about this encounter. She didn't have to say anything about the past, she could talk about Tag's height even. He was just curious about what she would go on.
