The sixth floor corridor houses several empty rooms, as well as several busy ones, most notable of which is the Transfiguration classroom.
You can try all the doors you'll find on this floor, but most will be locked for their own reasons. There's no harm in conversing with the ugly grouchy old portraits surrounding them though.

He was sure that this healer would be the same.
He stopped his slow walk and turned to look at Bart when he too had stopped in his tracks. The flames? Oh right, he had nearly forgotten about it. "Very..." he searched for the word that described it. "Ticklish" he finally answered. "I haven't been active in class so i don't know if its any different" he shrugged and then continued to walk to the staircases. "What did it feel like for you ...and why can't we use the bloody floo network to get downstairs?!" he was getting grumpy as he continued to walk.
A grin formed on the twelve year old's face and he nodded in excitement, "Ticklish so just like class. That's awesome!" He was excited about this even with the splatter it still worked. That was just epic in his book. He had to make this again. Would the professor let him make it again? Bart had to he just had to make it another time. It would be on his list of things to do.
As his mind moved and moved to how to make it again this time without the splattered when he heard Kevin, "hmm?" It took a few moments for it to register, but then he realized what he said. "Oh.. oh yeah it tickled like crazy dude couldn't you tell?" He had just laughed so much he couldn't even help the first year back there. Of course he knew it tickled. "It has an odd warm feeling to it. Not harmful hot, but just warm which I think makes it tickle more."
He continued walking towards the steps. "I don't know, but I think they like torturing kids and making them walk." It was annoying really. "Now let's just hope these aren't moving." He really didn't want to deal with moving staircases they had places to be.

She wondered if she should be the one to be curious- she was a Lion after all, shouldn't she be the brave one?
"Okay I guess I am curious but it's probably just something boring, like files or something" At least that's what was in her old school. "Have you tried looking in the keyhole or in the space under the door?" That was all she got.
Once again, Adi looked exasperatedly at Robin. "Won't you want to know what's in here? Also, in case you're wondering, I've never gotten into trouble for anything so if I do get caught here, I'm sure the Professors won't go hard on me.'' He grinned. But come to think of it, he didn't quite fancy getting into trouble. Heh. They might duck points from him...he didn't want that either.
Try looking through the keyhole or under the door? Adi stared at Robin, a dull flush creeping up his face. "Er...no.'' Why didn't he think of that? Those would be some of the most obvious ideas since he could not open any of the doors. "Wanna help?'' Adi asked Robin and Lucas. He was in a hurry to distract them from the fact he hadn't used his brains.

Robin huffed at the look she was given. She wasn't dumb, and she hated being behind. She tapped her foot crankily, it was weird, she usually didn't get this cranky or take things to heart. "Well if I must be honest that is a surprise" She retorted, but she had thought this guy was a class A trouble maker. At least he wasn't in the same house as her, his points deducted not hers.
She felt more sympathy for the boy when he blushed at not doing the, well, obvious first steps. So he was impulsive and didn't quite think things through. She sighed. "Sure I'll help- but just this once okay?" She slowly kneeled to the floor, she guessed she was sore from sitting all day, she tried looking under the door but she couldn't see that well, it just looked like a grey blur.. She tapped Adi's hand. "My eyes aren't good today, I didn't get enough sleep- you try" She rubbed her eyes and blinked. She had wanted to take a nap all day but it would have to wait.

Why was Robin looking at him like that? Did he say something wrong? And the tone of her reply surprised him. Seemed like he did say something wrong. "Sorry to disappoint you then,'' Adi mumbled and turn away. Sheesh. No need for her to get so annoyed with him, whatever her reason might be.
Adi brightened. "Partner in crime!'' he said jokingly. He didn't miss the way Robin moved. Slowly. He'd seen this way too many times in the last few days with some of his friends. "You okay?'' This slowness was all so puzzling.
Poor Robin. That would explain her crankiness, yes? "Well, you should work on getting your sleep or you'll get cranky with everyone.'' Adi winked. Alright, he'd take a shot. He crouched before the door, closed his right eye and peered through keyhole and into...darkness. Yep, pure and creepy darkness. "I can't see,'' he reported. "It's all dark inside.'' Which was unfortunate. Adi stood up again to Robin still rubbing her eyes. "How come you didn't sleep enough.'' It couldn't be studying. Exams were a long way off.

Robin was instantly bashful at the way she snapped. She shouldn't have taken it out on the boy. "Sorry" she mumbled, looking at her feet. She offered a smile at the 'partner in crime' thing, even though they might get in trouble, she thought it was fun. She had never really been a partner in anything before, so she took it as a learning opportunity. She genuinly smiled at the boy and his concern for her, she waved her hand. "I'm fine, don't worry about it"
She crouched down with Adi to peer under the door, so it wasn't that she just couldn't see, it was pitch dark! She looked up at the boy as he got up, feeling bad again. "Sorry, I guess I was really cranky, I just go caught up in catching up with the classes that I stayed up too late I guess" She started to get up when she slipped a bit. She quickly regained her balance but her wand had fallen to the ground. She groaned "I'm such a clutz!" She bent down to get it when she had a brilliant idea. "Wait, what if..." She got on all fours and slid just the tip of her wand under the crack in the door. She closed her eyes and practiced 'imagining' the light shine from her wand when she spoke "Lumos" She smiled at Adi before looking, "Does this help?"

"It's alright,'' Adi said though he still felt a little grumpy. That was very unusual; he was always so cheerful and didn't really care when people were rude to him. Some of the time, anyway.
Adi returned a tight smile however, when Robin said she was okay. "Good,'' he said. "We don't want anything to happen to you during your first year here, do we?'' He nodded understandably. They did have quite a few homework to complete. "Maybe you should sleep in on the weekend.'' Unless she was on the Quidditch team; Quidditch Season would be starting soon. "Are you on the Lion Quidditch team?''
"Woah!'' Adi made a lunge forward to help his new friend. "Be careful, Robin.'' His brows furrowed as he watched her slip he wand under the door and said ''Lumos''. Oh! He figured what she was doing. Grinning, he stuck an eye at the keyhole again. "Good idea!'' he said approvingly and quickly scanning the room. Unfortunately the light did not shine very far. "I can see...but it looks empty. But wait. I see some shadows but they look like furniture.'' Heh. Nothing interesting here.

Robin smiled at the boy's genuine concern for her, it seemed even if they started off cross he was still worried about her as a person- she liked that. She hoped he would forget about her crankiness and she made a silent pact to herself that she'd get more sleep so it wouldn't happen again. How she acted was more important than grades anyway (which was something coming from her)
"First year's not ALL that bad. Just... a lot to take in" She chuckled a bit. Even doing what they were now was one of those things that made Hogwarts...Hogwarts. That and all the homework. Jeez was there a lot of that."That's a good idea, i'll sleep as long as possible this weekend, just if I don't come to dinner feel free to send me a howler" she beamed, and then reconsidered "Wait on second thought don't- those things are terrifying" She shuddered- glad her parents were unaware of the existence of howlers. She nearly burst out laughing at the question. "No no I'm not on the team, lucky for them. I'm the worst flyer out there, although I might make a friend tutor me" She nodded at Lucas.
She huffed- her heart beating fast from the near fall. "Thanks, like alot, and yeah...more careful" She would try but no promises. She flushed and grinned at the praise- if being smart didn't work out she should try becoming a spy or something in the future. Much more exciting in her opinion. She was severely disappointed when she realized he was right-
She just saw the shadows of ordinary furniture. "Well that kind of dampens the adventure part, I'm sorry" She rubbed her neck sheepishly. She had really gotten into this whole explorer thing.

Adi nodded, completely understanding what Robin was saying about first year. He suspected she was one very much concerned with grades. "It gets better once you just remember to have fun too,'' he said, offering the girl a rare piece of his expert advice. He himself had been concentrating on passing all his exams in his first year but he did enjoy himself what with making new friends and such. Adi laughed at what the little Lion said next. "I sure will! I don't know how one goes about creating a Howler but I'm sure I can ask an older student.'' He winked to know he was kidding. Howlers were sort of scary but only if you were receiving them.
And again he laughed. "You're funny,'' Adi said. "I don't fly much either. I'm more into muggle sports. Like cricket.'' Did Robin know what cricket is? He'd be more than happy to explain it to her if she didn't. ''But if I were on the team, I think I'd take Beater position.'' Hmmm. Yep. He may look tiny with his five feet tall and thin body but he was strong. He held up his arms. "Look. See my muscles?'' he joked. "But what about you? Which would you try out for?''
"Not your fault,'' Adi said. He was rather enjoying trying to peek into the rooms. "I suppose the Professors and Headmistress did every possible spell to not make us see into the rooms.'' He eyed the one to the right and looked knowingly at the Lion. "Shall we try that one?''

Robin nodded slowly, realizing suddenly that she was an absolute stick in the mud. She hadn't been doing anything but studying since she got here, and that was such a waste. "Well that's what I'm doing now isn't it? having fun, I mean" She looked at the doors warily. "And if you even think about it you'll wake up to a chestful of exploding imps the next morning" She kid back, well only half kidding.
Robin grinned, someone called her funny! That was a compliment! socializing=success!. "Oh you like cricket? We had to play in gym class, I hit a teachers car with the ball once, it was the first and only time I ever failed a class." She grimaced, she was terrible at sports- sure she liked playing games and everything, but she was horrid. "Beater? really? isn't that dangerous getting so close to a ball set on knocking you off your broom" Her respect of the boy raised considerably. She chuckled at his show of muscles. "Oh my, remind me not to get on your bad side." She raised her arms jokingly in defense. "Gosh if I HAD to endanger someone's life by taking on a position, I'd probably just be a chaser, most fun zooming on the broom but easier than trying to find the snitch" She looked at the next door where the boy gestured to. "Now that we know the steps, sure- practice makes perfect! One condition- you have to sing the James Bond theme or something, to get the spy atmosphere going" She referenced one of the movies her grandparents had showed her, they were really old and frankly ridiculous but the songs were admittedly catchy.

Adi grinned and nodded in agreement. "Yep. Having fun without getting into trouble.'' He winked. As long as they didn't actually go into the rooms they were fine, right? Anyway, the Professors probably used way advanced magic to keep older students out so how were a second and a first year going to get in?
Oh so she did know what cricket was! Great! The Puffer was impressed by her story of hitting the ball. "That's so cool! Did you shatter any glass on the car? But it's too bad you failed the class though.'' He decided to tell her his own glass shattering experience. "I got picked for my school team after I shattered one of the school windows. I was showing another kid how to hold the bat properly so he could hit the ball better and the next thing I heard was tinkering glass.'' Ah. What a day that had been. Fun yet nervy. As for Quidditch..."Nah. It's the Bludger that should be afraid,'' Adi chuckled. He wasn't boasting there but he was just kidding around. Bludgers could be scary. "Chaser would be my second option. There's way too much pressure on Keepers and Seekers.''
James Bond! Adi did know of those movies. His Dad watched them loads of times and honestly, Adi sometimes grew tired of hearing the theme. He grinned at Robin. "You got it!'' He cleared his throat and began to hum the all too familiar tune. To make it a bit livelier, he snapped his fingers. He was sure he sounded silly but hey, it was fun! As he did this, he led Robin over to the next door.

"Yeah let's stick to the no trouble thing" Robin agreed, rolling her eyes at the sly wink. Yeah she could get him back if he sent her a howler, but she couldn't do that if her parents figured out how to send one. She doubted they could though, they could barely get their heads around the platform 9 3/4. She shrugged off her worries- positive they weren't going to be able to get in any of the doors, but if they could just catch a glimpse of something that would be awesome!
Robin looked at the boy strangely, here she had just confessed to damaging a car, a teachers no less, and he wanted the details. If it was her she would have recoiled at the thought- this boy really went with the flow, and it was a nice change from her own personality. "No broken glass, but it did get away with a mean dent in the hood." She grinned, if he wanted a story then she'd give him one. "I was told, well yelled at really the teacher was screaming really loudly, that she had bought that car just 5 days before and that I was lucky the 'warranty was still good' whatever a warranty is." She had been mad at that point- how was it her fault? They shouldn't have had gym class near the teachers parking lot! Her eyes widened at the boys story, and then she smirked "Well aren't we just little property destroyers" Who knew they both could have had similar experiences? She nodded her head vigorously at Adi's opinion. "right? I couldn't deal with that much pressure, everyone's watching and expecting so much from you! No sir not for me" She shook her head quickly back and forth, hair bouncing to emphasize her point.
Robin burst out laughing at Adi's new take on the James Bond theme. "Love the snapping man, don't stop" She tried to get her giggles under control and tried to act as stealthy as possible- running to a far door and ducking in, only to suddenly peek out and sprint back behind the boy. When they reached the next door she whipped her head around to Adi with a serious expression. "What next agent A?"

Adi found Robin's story even more impressive. No broken glass but a dent? That was so cool! And he couldn't help laughing a bit as he pictured a shiny new car and a shiny red cricket ball (he was assuming it was a real cricket ball Robin used) hurtling from the sky which landed with a rather LOUD thud on the hood creating a mini crater. "You must have whacked that ball very hard,'' he said. ''Have you played after that? Oh and a warranty is something that covers damage for a period of time. So your teacher's car should have been as good as new without any cost to her,'' The second year grinned. "I bet if we destroyed something here at Hogwarts the Professors would give us detention even before we even think of fixing it.'' Most of the Professors were cool but they could get strict. And as for pressure..."Pressure makes everything worse,'' Adi added simply.
Adi paused for a bit to look mock seriously at Robin. "Is my humming and snapping that funny?'' he asked. But he could not keep his serious face and broke out into another grin as he watched her run off and then came back. He was still snapping his fingers though he wasn't humming. "Hmmm. I believe we should investigate the doors on either side of this one, Agent R.'' It was like Men in Black, referring to each other as Agents along with the first letters of their first names. "You take the right one and I'll take the left.'' Was that okay?

But he could not keep his serious face and broke out into another grin as he watched her run off and then came back. He was still snapping his fingers though he wasn't humming. "Hmmm. I believe we should investigate the doors on either side of this one, Agent R.'' It was like Men in Black, referring to each other as Agents along with the first letters of their first names. "You take the right one and I'll take the left.'' Was that okay?
Robin huffed a bit when Adi started laughing at her past predicament. "Hey, I was traumatized at the time!" She defended herself "And I didn't think I hit it that hard...but I must have miscalculated" she drifted off in her sentence, that word made her sound like more of a dork than necessary so she quickly changed the subject "I played again once at my cousin's birthday party and luckily no cars were damaged" nothing but scraped knees on that one, and that just came with the game. Luckily the party had been at a park so the chance of damage was cut to a minimum. "Ohhhh so that's what it means... WAIT so she was just trying scare me? I knew I hated her.." She could feel her face reddening "Yeah most the teachers I know would lock us up shining trophy's before we could get a word out, that's usually how it goes, or, at least that's how I think it goes, I've seen it that way on TV" She slapped her forehead, she was acting lame again "Okay maybe I'm a bit of a goody two shoes if you couldn't tell" On the subject of pressure she had plenty to say "I know right? Like it doesn't matter how well you're prepared and really good, but pressure can take it all away" She nodded- she was to type to get nervous even if it was only one person watching.
When Adi turned to her she could tell he was on the verge of laughter- and she had already given up on keeping it in. "Not funny just...unique. yeah, definitely unique" She grinned. She thought about his suggestion. "But in horror movies the bad stuff happens when you split up"

Did Robin get offended because he was laughing? Did she think he was laughing at her? "I wasn't laughing at you, Robin,'' Adi explained patiently. "I was picturing the ball making a crater on your teacher's car.'' It seemed funny in his head but maybe it wasn't funny at all. ''Actually, I'm impressed with your batting skills. Besides, who doesn't cause the occasional damage to stuff?'' If that didn't happen, something was wrong. You weren't giving your best. Robin had hit the ball that far, that's why the car got damage.
Adi had to press his lips together in case he laughed again. Who knew Robin hated a teacher? "She was that bad, huh?'' He had had a few teachers whom he disliked, too. He was never a fan of the overly strict ones. They took the fun out of learning. But now he nodded in agreement to the pressure statement. "Sounds like you have some experience in that area.''
Adi grinned. "It was the best I could do.'' And there was no need for Robin to be thinking that something bad will happen. "We're just going to look through the keyhole,'' he said. "We'll use Lumos again.'' He demonstrated. "Lumos!'' He stuck his wand under the door so the illuminated part was on the other side. "Now I'll take a peek.'' He winked. What could be in this room?

The Professor said they were meant to slip the potion to an unsuspecting classmate then take notes. She could do that or she could go in search of an especially adventurous Ravenclaw. You know, the kind that didn't mind taking things especially if you told them what it was. If she could find Aidan that'd be great. Alternately she wouldn't have minded running into Mo. He was a good sport about drinking most anything.
Lex took every corner cautiously looking into the next on her way back up to the seventh floor. Next stop, Ravenclaw Common Room.
Surprizingly she'd managed to remember her parchment and quill for the notes, Merlin knew she had a habit of forgetting everything but her candy bag--which WAS slung over her shoulder. What else was she going to charm? The girl wasn't about to go around with a goblet of water, thanks.
Thinking about it.....at least one of them had better have been up there. This shouldn't have to be a wasted walk.

The sixth floor corridor was the best one for skateboarding. There was almost never anyone out and about, so he was unlikely to run over a Gryffindor or Ravenclaw first year laying about in the corridor because they couldn't remember the password, and the only classroom on this floor was the Transfiguration corridor. Not exactly a hive of activity.
Mo pushed off from the bottom of the staircase leading back up to the seventh floor, gliding easily down the long, dimly lit corridors. It wasn't as smooth as pavement, but then there wasn't proper pavement anywhere at Hogwarts. The cobblestones made his teeth hurt, too. He turned a corner and nearly ran over Lex.

"HEY!" Mo waved at her and kept rolling along.
For the fact that she was going to be asking a favour she felt she could sacrifice a chocolate frog. It was a good enough incentive as any to be subjected to someone else's spellwork. Her inventory wasn't running low on them either so it wouldn't be a probl--
Holy Kneazle!
Lex jumped back just seconds before what looked like a speeding Mo could have the chance to run her over. Wait...Mo!! Lex hurried after him, trying to keep in pace with the skateboard. "Mo! Just the Ravenclaw I was looking for. You got a minute? Of course you do. Stop skating, I need a favour." And this running thing was taking a serious toll on what felt like old bones. The girl was almost sure that in the next second she'd hear a loud crack and would have preferred getting this homework done without that happening.
"There's a chocolate frog in it for you." But she was done running. The girl stopped and waited for him to do the same. Believe it or not, that short run had left her somewhat winded. Phew!

"I'd do you a favor without bribery, but you know your audience," Mo flipped up the end of his skateboard and stepped off it easily, quite a feat considering the current state of his knees and back. He caught the end and flipped the whole thing up against his shoulder. Now then, Lex wanted favors.
"Make it a good one. I'm obviously quite busy right now." Y'know, with the skating up and down the corridor thing.

He had a good point there. He would have done her a favour without needing bribery but that didn't need to be the case because there was a chocolate frog in it for him, regardless. "Not bribe. I actually need you eating it is all." Very weird, Alexa Cambridge wanting someone not herself eating one of HER chocolate frogs but stranger things had happened.
The Gryffindor fished one out of her bag, obviously ignoring his remarks about being busy. He was skating along a corridor, threatening the lives of anyone that stepped into said corridor. The way she saw it she was doing the school a favour. Who said she only cared about herself? Pfft.
"Sentio Somnium." Had to get the candy coated with the right amount of magic, yeah?
"Here." She shoved it toward him. "Just eat it and lemme observe you and all that other stuff the Professor wants happening." And another bit of rummaging around in her bag, this time for parchment and a quill because she was PREPARED this time.
"Go on then. Aren't you the one who's busy.?" Any minute now Mo.

"You know you're supposed to be sneaky? I know you're a Gryffindor by nature, but surely you know how to be sneaky," Mo accepted the chocolate frog without question, and he bit off one of the legs before the creature could hop away. This was his third daydream so far, and Mo figured that he was getting to be an expert. And he sort of enjoyed them, honestly.
It took almost no time at all before the hallway started to fade away, only to be replaced by delicious landscape. Just like Cat's! A chocolate river and spun sugar flowers. Hard candy apples dangling from trees hung heavy with candy floss. Because he knew it was a daydream, Mo wasn't tricked into eating anything... better not to end up eating his own sweater like last time. He was probably drooling, though, and he had to hope that when he reached out to touch things, he wasn't batting at Lex's face or anything.

Lex shrugged. "I know I am but I don't need to, not when I know you'll just eat it anyway. Being sneaky's a lot of effort and people will be suspicious of me sharing chocolate." There were just too many complications that came with being sneaky and there was no need. Mo WAS willing, he was one of the most willing Ravenclaws she knew.
Even without him confirming it, she could tell her spell had worked perfectly. He looked positively mesmorized by the creation of her imagination and it brought a satisfied grin to her face.
It also kinda made her want to take a chocolate frog and join him in the daydream but she needed to keep her wits about her long enough to record...the drooling. Snort. Not even she did that......depending on the amount. Ahem. She most definitely had her point of no self-control where sugar was concerned.
While taking her notes she stepped back a few times to keep his hands away from her. Must be reaching for the hopping chocolate frogs or something. She totally understood. Once she'd gotten everything she needed she gave a wave of her wand. "Finite." And a final look over her notes. Everything looks about right.
"Thanks Mo! And a sugar quill for your troubles." She said fishing one from her bag and extending it to him. For being such a good sport and all.

Mo snatched the sugar quill out of Lex's hand with a cheeky grin. All that fake sugar had given him quite the sweet tooth, and there was nothing for that quite like pure spun sugar. He stuck the feathery end in his mouth.
"Happy to oblige. Good luck with your future experiments, okay? Thanks for asking... last one didn't ask." He dropped his skateboard on the floor again and scooted away from Lex more slowly, half distracted by his candy.
So Caelen had somehow found her way onto this corridor. How? She actually had no idea. She was kind of going to a few places at once now and couldn't decided which one had priority. The technology center-if it actually existed- the library and her common room. Because she was tired. And she wanted to explore. But at the same time she needed to pick up a book.
But either way, there were a lot of rooms on this floor. Probably not the rooms she was looking for, but still there. Exploring, ya know? She wanted to do a lot today, ya know? And she was GOING to get it all done. It was in her blood to get things done when they needed to be. Her dad with his weird Muggle office job and her mom with her constant and punctual care of the two kids. Being on time ran in their blood. And that blood ran through her. Blood physics.
Anyway, she had exploring to do. And arguing with the portraits to do. Rockwell told her to do that. Because he told her it was fun. But she had several things to do right now, and arguing with portraits couldn't be in her schedule today. But she would come back later. She liked to debate things. She had an inquisitive mind.
But Caelen walked downstairs to look at more things. Even if she didn't make it anywhere -though she WAS going to get her things done- she wanted to explore the castle. And make it where she was supposed to go.

Okaaay. So she had designed her posters about having pluto as a planet again. And she thought that they were really good. She didn't know why she had gone up so many flights of stairs to get put them up though. Oh well. She was here now. Grace sighed, taking a little rest on the bench. She wanted to catch her breath before she put her poster up. Okaay. That was enough. Opening her bag, she pulled out her pieces of sticky tape. She was going to tape it to the wall. Because she didn't know the spell to stick it up yet. Oh well.
Beaming, she stuck the tape onto the edges of her first poster, before approaching the wall, she reached up, cracking her back a little, before sticking her poster up onto the wall.
Stepping back she beamed. Yupp. She was happy with her work. Turning back to the bench, she picked up her bag, and the other poster, before going to find a second place to stick the other one up. Maybe in another corridor?

Cutty was carrying a rolled up bit of parchment with him to the Astronomy tower, as he sort of wanted everyone to see what he'd created upon it. Anyone who'd given Pluto's placement any sort of thought. Most of the corridor's he'd run into thus far had been plastered with posters advertising thoughts in support of Pluto's planethood and it made him want to have a good chuckle at it all. No exception, it seemed was the sixth floor corridor onto the walls of which someone had stuck yet another' in support of' poster. Just to be a jerk, Cutty unscrolled his parchment and stuck it over the current one carelessly.
