Okay, so it was just observing people and the bonds between the pets? Well, the models of people and the models of pets. Same difference.

She walked around the circle and came across a girl who was looking at a pink model. Actually it was more like stopping to look at something without realizing that someone was next to you at first and then figuring it out later and smiling at them.

But she didn't want to be creepy. Hmm, no matter. The little redhead was going to go for it. She had decided.

"Hello." The Ravenclaw hoped she wasn't distracting the other girl too much, and made a point of observing a purple model and a snake for a few seconds to show that she was working too. The snake was kind of slithering in a circle around the model. It looked so content.

Anyway, the Ravenclaw smiled at the girl and continued her work standing there, looking for more interesting things to observe.

Interesting activity this was. Adi edged closer to observe the animals and people. His eyes caught a toady immediately. Orange with the number 3 on it. In no time he found the corresponding human. He reached into his pocket and brought Gus out just a bit so the toad could peek at was Adi was indicating to him. "Look, Guster. That's you and that's me,'' he whispered. Gus's eyes flicked towards the figures and then to Adi. He blinked once as if showing he understood. Adi grinned. Gus knew he should not croak and disrupt the class.

Okay. So now he had to observe then toad and human? no problem! With Gus safely in his pockets again, he did just that.

Jeremiah was keeping an eye on his watch, and once he saw that they'd reached the end of the seminar, he cleared his throat to call for everyone's attention.

"It looks like we're about done now," Jeremiah spoke to the room at large. "I just wanted to say one more thing about true familiars; only the witch or wizard and the animal in question can ever truly know if their connection is that of true familiars, as only these two will ever be aware of the strength of this bond." Like the psychic sort of stuff, see? "But it's still a very interesting topic to research and theorise on, regardless. There are signs, like those I've told you about today, so we can still make a very good guess."

Jeremiah looked around at them and gave them a smile as he watched Leo casually jump up onto one of the empty chairs nearby. He was surprised that nobody had asked whether or not Leo was Jeremiah's true familiar. He wasn't, so Jeremiah had no reason to bring it up. But still, it was something he'd thought would come up.

"You're free to observe for a few more minutes if you'd like, but that about concludes my seminar. Thank you for your time."

Class was over? Sander still hadn't even identified one properly yet. But knowing that the instructor most likely was anxious to get back home, he decided to end his search.

He walked over to where he had left his backpack and retrieved it before heading over to where the instructor stood with his cat. "It was an interesting lesson, Sir. Thank you again for coming here. I hope that you and Leo have a safe journey back home." Sander smiled his thanks before he headed out of the classroom.

Time flew didn't it? Adi tore his eyes away from the toady and the human. "Bye, Mister! This was a rather interesting seminar.'' Indeed it had been. He had known nothing about Wizarding familiars before he entered this room. He grinned and waved to the cat. "Bye, Kitty.'' And with that, Adi hobbled his old bones out of the room. His terrible memory once again taking over causing him to forget about Benny. Oh well. The Dragon would just have to catch up with the Hippogriff.

aww it was over already? Sad. But Caelen DID get to learn about familiars and she subsequently got to learn about something she never learned about before. Familiars weren't exactly in the books, now were they? Which meant that she might not have figured out what they were. And that miht've come in handy someday. She didn't know.

Or maybe it wouldn't. But it was still information. And as her mom always said, all information was good information. Which meant that this information was going to help her whether she knew it or not. And she probably wouldn't know when it would. Until she needed it.

Taking one last observation at a powder blue model that was playing with a pygmy puff, she went and grabbed her bag. The redhead took that thing everywhere, didn't she? It held pretty much everything to be honest, or else she wouldn't bother. But it was like her portable storage unit -which was kind of what a bag was so.. redundant- and she needed it. Or at least in the firstie's mind she needed it.

But she still needed to ask a question. So up to the seminar giver she went. Hopefully he wasn't doing anything.

"Hello, I have a question. This may sound rude, but I would like to know if the whole..." She waved her arms in the air twice as if to emcompass the whole subject. "umm topic, is this all a science? Or is it based in theory? Not to discredit or anything, theory can always become fact with enough research." The redhead smiled and waited for the seminar giver -wasn't his name Felix or something-to answer. Because this was an interesting question, yes?
