Second Floor Corridor
|
Laura and anyone! Tessa turned down another corridor and looked around. So, now she was on the second floor- what was there to distinguish this one from the others? She was making her rounds before the classes started, getting familiar with the school so that she wouldn't get lost. She began humming as she walked down the corridor, taking in all the details. |

However, hearing the familiar voice and her name, she turned to smile at Laura. "Oh, as expected," she said with a shrug. "The Headmistress stated that unicorns were not permitted on the grounds unless they belong to the Care of Magical Creatures Professor," she explained. |

"Oh really?" Tessa grinned. "Well, I will have to think of a good one for you then- I'll keep you updated," she said, stroking her chin thoughtfully. Suddenly, an idea came to her. "Never mind, got it. I dare you to wear a mustache- color of your choosing- for an entire day. You must wear it to all of your classes and to each meal- but if a Professor tells you to take if off, you may," she added with a grin. "Right now? I'm studying this corridor so I know what floor I'm on in case I stumble upon it. It's something I've done at every school I've gone to... I think I know each school better than the people who have attended it for a few years," she added with a grin. |
For Tag <3 Delilah sat down in an empty corridor and leaned back against the wall. No, she wasn't tired but she just wanted some quiet time. Get some reading done, maybe. Arithmancy.. yeah. That class hadn't begun yet but she knew for a fact that she was going to find the subject extremely hard. In fact, she'd been terrible at it in her old school.. so some reading before class will help, yeah? .. Or just relax and do nothing. This sounded more fun, yep. |

Well, that was rather, not fun. " Well, whatcha doing on the floor? You should be out in the fresh air getting those rays of sunshine before it gets too cold to be outside of the castle" Tag said to the girl. And yes, he'd most likely be heading out as soon as he got what he needed from wherever he was going to. |
Text Cut: Taggy Delilah frowned. Not cool, person. Just when she was falling asleep, too! Granted, napping in an empty corridor wasn't really a great idea.. She looked up. Oh, hello there. A nice looking boy indeed. "Well.. I think I've gotten all the fresh air I need for today." Honestly, ever since she got here, all she'd been doing was roam around the grounds. And, she did go for a swim in the lake almost every morning so she was good, yeah? She eyed him for a moment. "What are you doing here?" Right back at ya, blondie. |
Taggy :P Quote:
Nonsense. With all this 'gotten all the fresh air she need for today'. Tag shook his head, but not in a disapproving manner but in a more comical, amused manner. "I think you could get more fresh air for the day." Tag said with a nod. But, it was her needs not his. Though she looked busy a bit? Was a that a book on her or was Tag just imaging things. He was probably imaging books. Raising an eyebrow the Gryffindor answered the girl, simply honest, "Most likely heading down to the kitchens to find something to eat. That or going to stand about outside the Hufflepuff house, picking up my friends for a day out." That's what he usually did. There would really be no other reason for him to be wandering about in such lower levels of the castle if it weren't for that. |
Text Cut: Taggy is a nice name :P More fresh air? Delilah looked amused as she eyed the boy. Yeah, fresh air was always good. She liked spending time outdoors.. In fact, she loved to read/study outdoors too. The weather was starting to get a little chilly now but it wasn't freezing. She supposed this boy was right. It was better to spend as much time as possible outside.. "Oh, I love going down to the kitchens too! You always seem to get the most interesting things to eat." Heh. She liked talking to the elves too. Mhm. "... and I'm a Hufflepuff." Just so he knew. She eyed the boy more before nodding towards the floor. "Do you want to sit with me for a little while?" |
Quote:
She was agreeing with him. GOOD. Kitchen exploration was always good. "I usually end up eating in the kitchens most of the time." He didn't really visit the actual house tables. "Just go down there and ask the elves, if I can't cook whatever I want, if they can make it for me. They're more than willing to help." Tag appreciated the elves. Why did she need to mention being a Hufflepuff? Tag shrugged at that, furrowed his brows and then gave her a longer look. Hufflepuff. Kinda old, wasn't she? "Hufflepuff. I like Hufflepuffs." And then she was inviting him to sit with her, which had Tag fast on the floor. |
Text Cut: Tag <3 Okay. WHY was he shrugging? Delilah looked at him for a moment longer, slightly confused. Heh. Anyway.. She grinned at his next few words and nodded. "Yes, me too. The elves are so nice! They always give me a snack when I'm down there.. And it helps so much because I can't cook." Heh. Her cooking skills were nothing to be proud of. He liked Hufflepuffs? The blonde grinned at him. "Yeah? Well, we ARE pretty awesome." She waited as he joined her on the floor before turning to look at him properly. "What house are you in?" ... Oh, wait. Introductions. "I'm Delilah, by the way." BEAM. |
Quote:
And the girl wasn't lying. Hufflepuff's were awesome. Or at least the ones Tag got along with. He generally got along with them. "You are. Hufflepuff's are some of my most favorite people." He said nodding and smiling at the girl. "Gryffindor. Lions. You're gonna hear me roar!" No. Tag can't roar. Finally. Tag knew the girl's name. Which sparked something inside him but he'd stay quiet. "Delilah. Like the flower. Oh, I'm Tag. Like the muggle game!" As he always introduced himself. |
Text Cut: Tag! <3 Tinka? Delilah frowned. She wasn't sure if she'd met an elf with that name. Maybe not because she would remember if she had. She was good with remembering names, yep. "I don't think I have met a Tinka before.. But, yeah. All the elves are just super nice and helpful. I mean, I'm new here but they seem to love me already. I'd love to meet Tinka sometime.".... BLINK. They creep him out? Yeah, sure. They are.. different-looking creatures but they were lovely, mhm. "Hey, you can't cook either?" GRIN. It wasn't something to be extremely happy about but they had something in common. Awesome. Hufflepuffs were his favourite people. Heh, of course. They were a lovely bunch of people.. maybe with one exception but she didn't want to think about that person now. Nope. "Let me hear you roar, Lion." She said, with an amused grin. Heh. So, he was Tag. Interesting. "That is such a cool name! I used to play the game when I was a kid.. A long time ago. It's great to meet you, Tag!" She grinned and extended a hand. |
Cinn/James <3 Lucas meandered down the corridor, mainly as a way to stall doing his Herbology homework. There was so much writing involved! Euck. In any case, he stopped at the top of the stairs of the second floor, stuffing his hands into his pockets and leaning on the railing. This place still made him nervous. |
Quote:
Great. Now she really wanted to hear Tag roar. He couldn't muster up a roar so he simply said "Meow" at her. A slightly amused face on him. "Well, I'm quite lucky you've played my game." That was lame, what he'd said, but it just came into his head. And he took her hand and shook it. " You too Delilah." Also, there would be no mentionings of Tag figuring out she was Lottie's dorm mate. If it maybe came up later in the conversation, then maybe, for now Tag had to get a better understanding of her. |
Quote:
If he was mean....and knew it wouldn't kill him he would've broken that railing and watched him fall but he didn't really feel like explaining to mum why his brother was killed. He cleared his throat as he walked up to his brother with his wand still twirling. "And what pray tell troubles the worried mind?" he said with a smirk. |
Quote:
And speak of the devil.. He tried not to jump too much as James spoke and instead turned to face him, sheepishly. "I, uh.." But he glanced up, frowning slightly at the wand his brother was twirling surreptitiously. "Lots of homework," he answered, after a beat. But now that James was here, he could ask. "So, uh, what have you been doing?" |
Quote:
"You know if you're having trouble with your classes I can help. Unless it's like that divination stuff....who uses that anyway?" Seriously. It was a load of...well...if anyone did believe in it they were morons. He took his wand back out and started twirling it with his other hand. Oooooo James the magic ambidextrous wizard. He smirked to himself at his own joke. Magic wizard....what a silly phrase. |
Text Cut: Tag! Shy elf.. Maybe. Weird though cause Delilah was down in the kitchens almost everyday but still had never met her. Oh, well. Maybe she HAD seen her around but didn't know her name? Yeah, that was probably it. She settled more comfortable, shifting her bag to the side. "What house are you in, Tag?" What? She was curious. Heh. The blonde smiled rather sheepishly. "Me neither. I tried over the summer and yeah.. It was a disaster." ... Meow? Delilah laughed. "I had asked you to roar, Tag." Heh. Not that she minded meow. She LOVED kitties. They were adorable, weren't they? "Your game? REALLY?" Of course, she didn't believe that but she was just teasing him. Heh. He seemed rather cool. |
Quote:
The Gryffindor shook his head. "I, uh, think I got it. Well.. I've finished it all anyway." But it irked him a little, because he'd actually liked Divination and Robyn was actually a really, really good tutor. So he decided to change the subject to something he knew would be neutral territory. "Did you tryout for the Quidditch team?" |
Quote:
"Well then...all the works done let's go have some fun." Ha he rhymed. "Nah not this term. Next term. It'll be Team Rodemiere," he said waving his arm in front of him as he spoke as if the title were some majestic thing. "Too bad you aren't in the same house then we could be the dynamic duo for real. The unstoppable Quidditch duo!" |
Quote:
Fun? James always sounded suspiciously sinister when he said 'fun'. "Sure. What do you have in mind?" Or, how many points is this going to lose us? Team Rodemiere? "It's your fault you got lumped into Ravenclaw." Their parents had found the split insanely hilarious. "Don't know how our Captains would feel if we were working together." But Lucas got a distinct glint in his eye at the thought. Yeah, so maybe some mischief wouldn't go amiss. |
Quote:
" I don't have a very strong voice." he said quietly. LIES. He had a strong voice, and could get very loud, he was probably just shy now. That or roaring was rather odd, even for him. Yes, of course his game. "Yes, my game. Tag, you're it." It could get quite confusing sometimes, especially on a playground. But, her name gave Tag a short thought, "Do people say something about your name? Like they make comments about it cause it's a flower?" Curiosity killed a kitty. Or in this case Unicorn. |
