The train has pulled into Kings Cross Station ending another school term at Hogwarts. Let's wave goodbye to the Term 35 school chat and say hello to the new shiny Term 36 school chat.
Now's the time to talk your little heads off about who's doing what during their summer vacation and and what will the newly graduated students do now that they don't have to go back to Hogwarts. What changes will happen to the school over the summer now that they have won the EBWE Academic Competition? Will the students come back to find all the pay stations gone? Will the professors have all their classroom equipment returned? Will the hospital wing be up and running at full speed again? Who will step in to try and fill the shoes of the great Potions Mistress, Hecate Lafay? Who will be then next Slytherin Head of House? With the departure of Mr. Cantwell, the 5th groundskeeper in the past 6 years, who will take over this cursed position? Who will be the new prefects and captains?
Well what are you waiting for? There are so many things to discuss here. So Go. Chat. Speculate. But most important, have FUN!

I only kid, but seriously, the Slytherin in me is going to kick me for saying this, but...Gryffindor really needs some more people. Just like Hufflepuff needs less people. Really. I'm serious. There's so many active Hufflepuffs, and to me, a difficult race to the House Cup is more fun than a landslide. When I first joined, I remember we really didn't know which house it'd be until the last minute when the last final was keyed in. We'd all be sitting on MSN refreshing like crazy! I miss those days. SSSH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't ruin it, Anna! Now it's not a secret anymore!!! 
But seriously, I actually think this coming term might actually be like that again in terms of the house cup. I think it'll be a fun struggle again, judging from the way things look in terms of new sortees ... we'll see though when term starts how it plays out  But Hufflepuffs did give up one of their top points people to Gryffindors, soooo ........

You know, we do try to keep all the Houses even when we Sort. I'm pretty sure there's some statistic out there that SHOWS they're all even. Go look at the old "SORTING IS OPEN" threads if you want.
The problem is, when you think about what kind of person is going to be a good student and all around-stellar RPer, psssssh well that person is obviously a Puff.
The kind of person who's going to be happy-go-lucky, not hanging around the Internet, always out-and-about getting into trouble? That kind of person is a Gryffindor.
So even if we do sort 1000 Gryffindors, 900 Ravenclaws, 800 Slytherins, and only 500 Puffs a term, there's no guarantee that those 1000 Gryffindors are going to be more active in the RPG than the 500 Puffs.
Make sense? That being sad, I DO EVER SO HOPE the House of Jeremy Gryffindor will make a comeback. Plzzzzz. * and no, we don't ever sort that many people on SS in any one Sorting season.
