It was time for another year of muggle fun; which for some, Josephina knew wouldn't be too enthralled by that prospect. Learning about muggles and living with them was not always easy, especially for those who never had any contact with them since birth.
But today's lesson, shouldn't be too difficult, she hoped. After all there was some correlation with it to the wizarding world....
After propping the door open, she perched herself up on her desk and flicked open a magazine. All she needed now was for the students to show up and they could begin ...
ooc: Lesson has officially started, so please, if you didn't post arriving, pretend as though you've been here the whole time. Thanks!
Another is easyish class for him. He had grown up in the the muggle section of Italy for the most part. So he had a bunch of muggle friends from there. This basically helped him get through muggle studies for the past seven years. Here and in Italy.
He finally made it to class. He walked in the classroom. Was he the first one here? Well it looked that way. Never in his seven years had he ever been the first one to class. He was proud of himself. He nodded to Hadley "Hello, Professor Hadley!" He smiled. Hadley was his sister Carolines favorite professor when she was here. The seventh year thought that she seemed nice.
He could choose anywhere to sit. Being the first one and all. He walked on and found a seat in the middle of the room, right in the middle.

Muggle Studies! Probably the subject Adi was best at after CoMC and Potions. He entered the familiar room, freshly shaven though he had loads more gray hair on his head. He slowly made his way over to his Head of House and managed something that could pass off as a smile. "Hello, good day, Professor.'' Truth be told, he was feeling the grumpiness starting again. Probably because of the gray hair.
Adi shuffled off to find himself a seat. Sitting was good. Standing was just not his things these days.

Alec was excited for Muggle Studies. Really. Truly. But he was also troubled and he... needed someone to talk to. Someone who'd understand just how... bad this was. Someone who wouldn't laugh at him for being so obsessed with something so--
... Right. Muggle Studies.
He shook his head in an attempt to shake away these thoughts before continuing his slow walk up towards the Muggle Studies classroom. The Head Boy was glad that lunch had included a chance to sit down and that this class... would also include lots of sitting down. ... Right? Yeah.
Hadley. Hadley was here. "Afternoon, Professor Hadley!" he called, putting on a small smile and giving her a wave. He really liked that lesson on electricity they had had. Maybe that had a bit to do with the buzzer he got to use. ... Yeah. Not really looking around at the class that much, he headed over towards an empty seat, letting his bag settle on his lap. Writing equipment was pulled out and placed on his desk before he let his bag drop to the floor. Now he was... alone. Sort of. Alone with his troubled thought that included...

Wrinkles.
Ella had them. Ella Bishop had wrinkles. It was because of all the brow furrowing she was doing, right? It had to be. Because she was eighteen and she wasn't supposed to have wrinkles yet. She couldn't rock wrinkles yet. She wasn't an elephant, for Merlin's sake. As much as she wouldn't mind being one. And the only other things that looked adorable with them were dogs and old people and she was neither of those things so what was a Head Girl to do? What would he boyfriend think? OH GOSH.
Needless to say, the blonde was very self-conscious as she moved slowly into the classroom. "Hello, Professor," She greeted more timidly than normal, a small smile playing on her lips.
O___O
Alec.
He couldn't see her like this.
The blonde had already made eye contact so she shot him a quick smile and wave as well before heading over to the opposite side of the room. If he asked, it was for concentration reasons. DUH.
She was just...going to concentrate on getting her parchment and quill out now, okay? Okay.
The third year snake stood at the door of the Muggle Studies' classroom, asking herself WHY she was taking this class. Muggle Studies and her were like oil and water. They didn't mix. Buuuut...she had promised her brother she'd give it a chance. That was the only reason why she was here, really.
SIGH.
It wasn't his fault his mother was a muggle and that muggle things were part of his life. He was still a hero in her eyes and JUST because of that she'd endure this.
Using that thought as motivation she moved inside. The woman at the desk was busy with a magazine, so Beverly didn't bother to interrupt. If the professor did look up, she'd find the youngest Wayne sitting in a desk closest toward the front, and if their eyes met, she'd get a greeting nod.
Technically Toby didn't need this subject, what with his upbringing. But he still attended it, because he took every class. Plus, sometimes it could be challenging, and sometimes it reminded him of life before Hogwarts, which was good.
So here he was. In the classroom, taking a seat off to the side, flattening down his hair (in which he'd spotted yet another grey hair that morning).
"Good afternoon, Professor," Toby greeted his head of house, setting his bag down beside his hair and rifling through it for his writing things.

Terry had been bought up on a remote island in the Orkney's. His childhood had mostly consisted of his own family and the creatures they had cared for. Therefore his chances of socialising with muggles had been minimised. That wasn't to say it had been non-existent. Having frequently visited the mainland Scotland and on occasion London, he had learnt a fair amount about how the others lived and he did find it quite interesting. Hence why he had decided to pursue Muggle Studies further. That and he felt it would be beneficial to know certain details for his future career.
So although the Slytherin was feeling enthusiastic about the lesson today, his body was just not agreeing with him. He walked sluggishly into the classroom his hip a hinderence and his greying fringe being so bothersome. He greeted the Professor with a smile however, she deserved one after all, it wasn't like this was her fault. "Hello Professor" he spoke before glancing around for a seat.
He found one to one side of Alec, noticing that Ella had sat a distance away from him. Hmm.. Strange. He gave the Headboy a friendly nod before he dumped his backpack on the desk, pulling out his notepad and pen so that he wouldn't have to reach down for it later. He dropped his bag down onto the floor before letting himself be seated.
Fern skipped into the classroom, a gap-toothed grin taking up half of her face. She was in a fabulous mood. Muggle Studies was her favorite class and all because of one Head of Awesome, Professor Hadley.
The 12-year-old cried out, "Hi Professor Hadley!" even before she had stepped over the threshold, and when she spotted the older woman reading, she clapped a hand over her mouth in shame. Professor Hadley was reading. And Fern knew you didn't talk to people when they were reading or holding a floo conversation through the fireplace, so she quickly scurried over to find a seat next to...

"Ella!" Fern greeted in a whisper, sliding into place beside the Head Girl. "How are you-" Oh. Oh. What was that on Ella's face? Fern leaned in closer for a better look, "Uh, Ella. I think you put on too much foundation." The make-up was caked all over the seventh year's skin and creasing. It made Ella look like she had wrinkles.
This was very strange, because Ella was a teenager, and everyone knew teenagers were great at applying make-up. So why had Ella put so much on? "Are you breaking out?"

If there was anything at all to make her feel any more annoyed, it would be attending muggle studies. Hannah SLOWLY made her way into the room and glared at the professor. She was not in a good mood. This wasn't just her regular inferior than thou mood, but a full on get out of my way mood. "Professor." Yes, she acknowledged her presence, but that was about it.
There wasn't that many people there so far and she didn't exactly feel like chatting so she said away from everybody and hoped that nobody would get too close to her. Should she really put her wand way? The seventh year that there wouldn't be any chance that she would be able to use it during this lesson, but one could always hope right?
Nigel will give muggle studies a chance. He already knew he was not going to arthimancy and herbology. He wanted to be a curse breaker and muggle studies might help in that. At least Nigel hoped it would.
"Hello Professor Hadley"
Now to sit down and rest his back. It was killing him for no apparent reason. It is not like he was done any serious training in the past couple days.
No wand was disappointing, But it was muggle stuff and it was understandable.

Ella.
She was Ella.

Hadley should do the Head Girl a solid and start class NOW. Mhm.
Ah yes, muggle studies. Adrienne didn't have any strong feelings about this particular class- it was easy enough, and something good to have on her repertoire, but then it was also usually fairly boring. She didn't much care about muggles, and all the adaptations they'd made to deal with not having magic. Sure, it was great to know what electricity was, but anything important that they had, witches and wizards had a better version of, or a simpler one, or a more efficient one. So it really didn't make much difference to her what they did.
Still, Adrienne didn't mind the class, so the look on her face wasn't too grumpy as she entered the room, nodded at the professor, who was busy with a magazine and probably didn't even notice her, and sat back in a chair, feet propped up on the desk in front of her and arms crossed.
While he was not a total expert on muggles, he did know enough to get through life. Well so his father said, Michael on the other hand found that muggles were rather fascinating especially the contraptions they used to get by in life. So this class would be perfect to learn more.
He just hoped that they weren't going to do anything too energetic, his body had a slight ache to it and he didn't know if he would be able to do anything too strenuous. He gave the Professor a smile as he walked passed even though she was reading a magazine. "Hello Professor."
Finding a seat behind the Ravenclaw Prefect, Michael flopped down in the chair and rifled around in his bag for some parchment and his quill.

Schuyler was a little unnerved as she entered the Muggle Studies classroom.
Well... well, other people were having these weird old people characteristics popping up and she was very glad that they hadn't been happening to her. But then THIS morning. This morning she found it. Them. Two gray hairs that had sprouted from her head.
They were plucked from her head POST HASTE by the way. No more gray hairs.
Right? Like, there weren't any more, were there? Because she didn't want to have to dye her hair. Or charm it. Or whatever. She liked her hair normal, okay?! NORMAL. Dark and brown and not gray.
"Hi, professor." Lacking enthusiasm. Please have a good lesson, Hadley. Sigh.
Oh no, who was talking to her? The blonde chanced a glance and was relieved to see it was Fern. She was a good kid, Fern was. Definitely wouldn't call attention to he-

Why was Ella looking at her like that? Why was - oh! Fern shushed, her eyes growing to match the eighteen-year-old's in size and her face turning pink from Ella's chastisement.
But then her eyebrows raised in confusion. Ella had wrinkles? That was not normal. Fern wasn't sure at what age most women started to develop wrinkles since she skipped those articles in Witch Weekly, but she knew Uncle Carl's girlfriend didn't have wrinkles, and Rhonda was definitely older than Ella.
The tween opened her mouth to say something about this, but then she was told not to talk about it. So Fern thought about it instead. If Ella had wrinkles, the only possible reason for them could be an aging potion. Maybe someone had spiked her pumpkin juice last evening with it.
Now the important question was - who would spike Ella's potion? Who would be evil enough to do that?
Fern looked around accusingly. Where was Cuthbert!? Where was Tora!?

Sander peeked into the classroom and was relieved that class hadn't started yet. Muggle Studies was always one of his favorite non-requisite classes. He walked into the classroom and noticed his Head of House sitting on her desk. He slowly walked up to her, feeling tired after that climb from the Common Room up to this class.
When he finally stood in front of the Professor, he smiled and greeted her, "Good Afternoon, Professor Hadley." Then he turned around and looked for the nearest desk available, so that he didn't have to walk a distance to get to it. He sat down and kept a watch out for Tessa.
Muggle studies! Gwen was VERY interested in seeing what this class would hold. She did know pretty much everything muggle, as up until a few weeks ago, she was one. More, she was interested to see what about her society wizards found significant enough to teach their children. She sat down, ready for what promised to be a different sort of class.

With muggles in his family line, Benjamin had been exposed to some of the things of the muggle world as he grew up. His parents had seen it only proper for him to be aware of the lives of his entire family after all. But it wasn't a full experience of the non-wizarding folk by any means. So the second year made sure to attend the muggle studies lesson last term, finding them quite fun and interesting. And the professor was real nice too. Hopefully this year wouldn't prove any different.
Making his way down to the first floor, he approached the classroom wondering just what might be one today's agenda. There was undoubtedly plenty of options available. Stepping inside, he spotted the professor as well as fellow classmates already gathered around including a few familair faces. "Hello Professor," he greeted, not quite as nice as he might normally be. Ben rubbed his grizzled face as he decided where to go and sit. The options were many but his friend seemed the least objectionable.
At least Adi was going through the same stuff as he was.
"Hey," he said taking a seat nearby the Hufflepuff. The Gryffindor biting back a groan as his aching body protested the move.

Lux was so excited as she entered the Muggle Studies classroom. This was the class she had been looking forward to most, and she was sure that she would have loads of fun learning and that the Professor was really smart. She had to be, if she was the Hufflepuff Head of House! Spotting Sander sitting down, she headed over to him and took one of the desks beside him, knowing that Tessa would take the one on his other side. "Hey, Sander! Aren't you excited for this lesson!" All they needed was Tessa and Bay, then things would be perfect. Turning her attention to the Professor, she smiled at her. "Hello, Professor Hadley. I am Lux."

Bart made his way into muggle studies he wasn't sure about how he felt towards the subject or the people. He liked their stuff, the stuff was cool. Surfing, TV, cars, all that was cool, but the kids that called him weird and frog boy causing the fight over the summer, yeah them he wasn't sure about. So he would go to class and see what professor lady had to offer.
Walking into the room he brushed his hand through his beard and tried to keep focus off his balding head. Merlin it was worse and worse. How could this have happened. As he walked in he glanced around the room at the ones already there and gave a nodded to the professor. "Hello" He wasn't in his usual hyper mood. So he greeted in a nice calm manner and headed to find a seat.

Alex entered the classroom and was excited. Muggle Studies was one of her favorite classes and she was ready for it to begin. "Hello Professor", Alex said as she passed Professor Hadley at her desk. Looking for an empty seat, she found one near the rear of the class. Alex sat down, arranged her belongings and made sure her wand was safely stowed away. Then she took out her pencil and paper which made her reminisce about her days in muggle elementary school. All she had to do now was wait for class to begin.

A class all about nonmagic people. Hogwarts was something else. That was for sure. Mitchell, who lived among the muggles, knew a lot already. But, easy A, right? Or whatever the grading system was over here.
"Hello." he greeted the Teach with a nod as he ended. He then took a seat and looked around. He wondered how many of his classmates were actually here to learn things. It didn't seem possible to him that there were people that didn't know about muggle things, but, at the same time, he could see it happening. Just not in a big city.
