Only Ella asked another question. "I guess so." Okay? Were they done with that now?
The Head Girl's reply both was and wasn't satisfying for Olly. The latter mainly due to the fact that it left no room for follow-up questions or any other way to continue that part of the conversation. "How's Alec?" Yes, and that was probably the lamest question of them all but Olly didn't care.
Also, could she sit down? Lachlan wouldn't mind right? So she did exactly that. Sit down on the floor to the statue's feet. Ah, yes, better. Sort of.
Point taken. Ella could see that this Quidditch thing wasn't something that the younger badger was keen on discussing and really, the blonde wasn't sure why but she didn't push the subject any further. It was interesting though, seeing Olly this way. Ella had never seen the girl look unsure of herself before but then again, she supposed she didn't really know her all that well. So yes, they were done.
How's Alec?
This question was unexpected and Ella smiled a little, watching as Olly slid down into a seated position.
"He's brilliant. Just...maybe the best boyfriend ever but I guess I'm biased." And she might have been gushing just a bit but she didn't care.
"And Schuyler? How is she?" The eighteen year old had heard something about those two being involved but she wasn't sure if it was true. No harm in asking though, yeah?
