Hufflepuff House Table by Alyssa Potter (FireboltAvis88) The Badgers sit under a brand new gold and black banner representing their house. Their solid, shiny wooden table is nicely polished with all the place settings perfectly set. The food will arrive after the Headmistress' traditional start-of-term speech. To all Hufflepuffs, both new and old: welcome to Hogwarts! |
Anyone? ^_^ This was the seventh time he had walked through those doors of the Great Hall for a start of term feast but each time was still met with a bought of nervousness and a hint of excitement. Maybe he was nervous for all the new students who were going to be sorted. Maybe he was also nervous for the coming year; would it be good? Would it be bad? Who knew. Maybe he was also nervous about doing something wrong. This was... weird. A quick scan of the hall told him that it was fairly empty which... meant that he was early. Good. The seventh year had grown accustomed to coming early and nabbing a good seat by the Hufflepuff table. The boy just... preferred it like that. He grey-blue eyes glanced down at the badge pinned on his chest and gulped. He then looked up and over at the Staff Table, giving that a quick scan too. No Hadley yet. He'd have to go and see her later, then. Maybe tomorrow. Shrug. As always, the Head Boy headed over to the Hufflepuff table and sat down towards the middle. Traditions, you know. And he'd be able to see the Sorting Ceremony and either ends of the table. Good. He had to be social, yeah? Social and cool and not awkward. That was what Alec had told himself to be during part of the train ride and the ride in the carriages up to Hogwarts. No awkwardness. Be COOL. Relax. Yeah! Not awkward... not awkward... ... Was it awkward to sit by a table on your own? |

This was it, she was finally her after so many years of being gone, she was more mature…*yeah right*...than she was when she was last here, this was going to be an emotion feast. The most that she has learned so far about being a seventh year is making new friends will be hard when you have to say goodbye to them after only one term of knowing them. Yeah that would be pretty hard to do. Adeline walked over to the Hufflepuff table, she wanted to go and visit some of her friends at the other tables but she wouldn’t know what to say to them. Adeline sat down at the fairly empty table, she must have like sprinted here because every time she would go to the starting feast she would be late of almost late. |
Anyone can claim this guy This was Kace's third year. He could feel it...this year was gonna be totally awesome. He stood in front of the doors where he only went through the previous two times. The first time, he was a firstie and he went to the sorting hat and got sorted. Then his life became magical after that. Then last year was all a blur. Now his third year, he was here. He pushed opened the doors and smelt the familiar smells. He even felt the familiar warmth from the fires going on. It was quite hot in here but he always suffered through it. Then he walked over to his familiar table. This table held so many memories for him. He touched it on his way in and smiled. Then he noticed two puffs were there. He noticed the head boy with his badge and smirked. He might as well go say hi and hair ruffle him. He creeped up behind him and said, "Hey Alec!" and then hair ruffled him like he did to him so many other times. He also saw another older puff but he didn't really know her but he gave her a friendly smile. |
Colley <3333 Not sitting with you. Definitely not sitting with you. And no food. This was just ace. Could she not just go to bed? Where was her boyfriend, too? As Elodie took her seat at her house table, as far away from anyone else as possible, she looked over at the Gryffindor table for the face she liked to look at. The face she was very pleased to have official permission to look at and kiss lots. Boom. Discovering she couldn't locate him, she looked toward the Ravenclaw table to make sure Charlie had got herself into the castle after they'd parted on the train. And then she went back to making sure no children were coming near to sitting by her. None of that today. |

Adeline sat looking around as all the student from all four house just piled into the Great Hall, it was wonderful, it was like...like CHRISTMAS TIME just without all of the decorations of tree's and snow, Adeline loved winter, she mostly loved the snow and being able to wear sweaters. As Adeline looked around she noticed younger Hufflepuff smile at her. His facial features looked familiar, maybe he had an older sister or brother that Adeline may have seen around the castle. |
SPOILER!!: Alec Well, truth be told, Tag immediately headed straight for the Hufflepuff table because his best friend was not only the Head Boy, but it was his last year here at Hogwarts. So Tag had to spend a good chunk of the feast for his best friend, one last time. The blonde would head to his actual table in a couple of minutes. "Head boy Hair Ruffler Alec Blake Summers." Great way to greet your friend. Tag sat besides the brunette and took the liberty of playing with his hair for a few seconds before patting his shoulder. " I had a sneaking suspicion that you may have gotten head boy." Before Alec had told him, that is. "Make sure you keep it nice and shiny, that badge. You deserve it, really. Congratulations, again, mate." Alec was the right choice. Very good kid SPOILER!!: Kace Another puff was joining his own table. Tag didn't know him, he supposed. He did seem a bit younger than Tag himself, but that wouldn't stop him from saying hello to the guy, yeah? Oh, and he knew Alec too, even ruffled his hair, this guy was already on Tag's 'cool' list. "Hey yooooouuuuu" Tag said drawing out the word. " Hey, I'm Tag." He added, stretching out his hand to the younger blonde! |

She deposited herself on the bench beside said bestie and nudged the other girl with her elbow. "Hey." |
for anyone else too ^__^ Oh, it was great to be back! Adi practically ran to the Puffer table where he was pleased to see some Badgers already there. "Guys, hey! Hi, Alec! Hi, Super Els!'' Taking a moment to concentrate on the Great Hall, he looked around. The other House tables were slowly filling up too and he could see lots of familiar faces now. How awesome it was to be here again! |

Alec, Adeline, Kace, Tag and Anyone who wants a Messer ^_^ Sigh. Seventh Year. He still need to get used to that idea. It will be his last time attending the Start of The Term Feast. This time he's not arriving late like he usually does but then again a Messer never late, everyone else just early. He walked to his house table and he's not surprise to see a few Hufflepuff and...a Gryffindor? already there. Oh. Wait. Its just Tag. "Hello, Tag. Got lost in the Badger Den again?" he gave the younger Gryffindor a wide grin. Oh. Look. Someone was And. Well. Well. Well. Looks who wear the Head Boy Badge. "Summers, its been a while." Messer gave his ex-roommate or still-roommate a nod. "Congrats on the badge." And he still waiting for that Prefect Bathroom password. "Where's Ella?" Usually when Messer spotted him, he's always with Ella. And speaking of Ella maybe he should just skipped the Feast and run to the boys dorm while he still can. Yes, that's sound a really good idea. While the seventh year was looking around for his exit before Ella comes, he spotted another familiar seventh year Hufflepuff. "Adeline. Hello! How are you?" |

"You'd suit this table." -- Hearing one of her nicknames, Elodie turned her head slightly, giving Adi a smile and a wave. |
Bri arrived at the Hufflepuff table. She picked a semi-clear part of the table to sit down. Bri want to meet her new house mates, but her shyness prevented her to start talking to someone she didn't know. So she sat down quietly, just soaking up all the excitement and the magic around her. |

*Finding an empty spot at his house table Romulus watched the other students and staff fall into place and find seats. A part of him wished that he had brought a book along with him. The opening feast sometime took ages and unless you knew someone getting sorted that ended up being dull too. For now he would watch the other students gush over how small the first years are and avoid his cousin Cece's gaze. It had already been a long day, so the last thing he needed was another telling off and ear tug from Healer Tillstorm.* |

Adeline shook the boys hand. "Lovely to meet you, Kace." It was always nice to meet the younger students, some were better to have as friends than any of the older students or the ones in the same year as her for sure. Adeline couldn't believe that she forgot to introduce herself to him. "I'm sorry, that was rude of me not to introduce myself." She blushed. "I'm Adeline." she smiled. That was just plain forgetful of her. Quote:
Adeline noticed a new student, clearly a first year but at least this first year was excited most were scared. She thought it would be a good time to welcome the brand new Hufflepuff to the greatest house ever and introduce herself of course. "Hello." Adeline did a little wave on the girl, she didn't want to scare the girl away so waving is a good thing to do, yeah? "Welcome to Hufflepuff, I'm Adeline." the seventh year smiled at the girl. Quote:
Was that who she thought it was? No way, he was taller than the last time she had seen him. It just had to be Messer. IT WAS! Adeline got up from where she was sitting so she could quickly hug him. "Messer! It's so good to see you again. I'm great. How have you been?" A smiled was all over her face. |

Bri glanced up when she heard say hello to her. She saw a girl who looked to be about 17, waving at her and smiling. Bri smiled back, and gave a little wave of her own. "Hi, Adeline. Nice to meet, and thank you. I'm Bri." Bri replied softly. It looks like she was sorted into a house with very nice people. |

Anyone? Please VM if you do. Thanks Sander walked along the aisle hoping to see someone familiar in the table he was headed for. He turned to see that Calisto had been sorted into Gryffindor. He felt sad that she wouldn't be in the same house as he was, but at the same time he was happy that she would get to meet other students in her house and make friends. As for him, he sat down at his house table and looked around. Yes new boy here. Doesn't know anyone but would love to. He looked around hopefully for someone to start up a conversation for him. But until then, the food definitely looked good. |
Sorry I missed your post the first time.. It was an accident Quote:

She watched as Leah pet Kace's pet, named Dusty. She wasn't sure what it was, but it looked adorable and fluffy. " Umm , Excuse me, but what is that?" she asked softly. |
Anyone! Pleeeease Marigold found herself sitting down at the Hufflepuff table not talking to anyone. Looking around at the wonderfully decorated hall, she shivered and smiled to herself. She was back at Hogwarts! Turning her attention back to the Sorting ceremony, she noticed Mitchell being sorted. She waved at him, but he didn't notice. She watched him take the hat off and go towards the Gryffindor table. Eh, she'd catch up with him later. She looked up the table and saw so many new faces, mingled in with old ones. She would have to get to know the older ones, she decided, and the new ones too. |
