"And, you guys will be there, of course," she assured her friends with a wink. Not that she had any plans yet. Goodness, that was a lot to think about. She was just going to worry about this summer- that was at the forefront of her mind.
Tessa wrinkled her nose. She was all for color, but sparkles were a bit much for her... especially the amount Tinkerbell usually was associated with. "You would say that to anything I would wear," she pointed out, raising an eyebrow. Therefore, hardly a valid argument when trying to convince her to wear it. "But thank you," she added with a wink.
She smiled as Sander went along with her dodging of the question, and looked down at the ring with a warm smile when he placed his hand with her own. She nodded in agreement with his words and felt a flutter in her stomach as he talked about the future. Their future. Something so exciting to think about.
She laughed softly at his question and looked around. She did care about her friend's opinions, but at the same time, if they had been opposed to their relationship, they probably would have said something at the start.
Sander winked at Tessa as she explained to Lux what the ring represented. He still couldn't believe that she had agreed to wear his promise ring and had to look down at the finger that donned it and brushed his fingers against it.
Yes someday who knows what will happen. It was nice to look to the future, especially if Tessa was there with him.

So they weren't getting married after all? And what on earth is a promise ring? Listening to Sander explain it, the concept seemed to be both interesting and romantic. Their relationship had reached the next level, but had not advanced to the point where they were getting married.
Curiously, she continued to look at the ring on Tessa's finger. "That's wonderful, I am glad that there will be a wedding I can go to." At some point in the future when they were older and had careers sorted. "It's a really pretty ring."
Sander turned to look at Lux and laughed when she mentioned she was glad she would now have a wedding she could go too. The girl was definitely really eager to see them married, and Sander loved her optimism for their future.
"I look forward to showing all of you the sights, like I'm looking forward to seeing you all again during the summer," Sander turned to smile at all his friends. Who would have thought that almost a year ago, he was dreading coming to this school, and that he was worried he wouldn't make any friends. But he was glad he had been wrong. He would never trade their friendship for anything in the world.

When Sander asked for his friends' blessing, Alex was surprised. "You know twin, it doesn't matter what any of us think. As long as you two love each other, that's all that matters. For the record though, I approve.". Alex laughed at he thought that her opinion mattered in this case.
Sander laughed and nodded his thanks to Alex. "Thanks Alex, I really appreciate your approval," Sander winked at her. He knew that he could always rely on his best friend.
It was time now to share his news with his friends. Pulling out two letters from his jacket pocket, Sander gave the letters to Tessa to read it and while she was doing that, he told the others what the content of the letters were.
"I received one letter yesterday and the other a week ago. The second one is from the team that I was hoping to play professionally with," Sander paused trying to find the words to let his friends know what the organization had written to him about.
He took a deep breath and released it. "I've been offered a seven year contract to play with them and I'm going to sign with them when I get back home," Sander blurted out the details. He couldn't contain his excitement any longer.
"And everyone, this isn't the only other piece of good news. The other letter I received is from the Wizarding University in Russia. I've been accepted to study Magizoology there," Sander shared his second piece of news.
"I know it's sounds really overwhelming...playing and studying at the same time. But while I was home during the winter, I was able to speak with the Dean of Admissions there and he says that I can schedule my classes during season breaks and during the nights or days when I'm not playing. Sander then sat back and waited to see whether any of his friends would tell him that what he was doing was crazy and unachievable.

The Healers from St. Mungo's had come and filled her with the false hope that this predicament wouldn't last any longer but then they left and the term was now ended...and every joint in her body still hurt--maybe even worse now actually. The Gryffindor had used up the last of her wrinkle cream before heading down here. It was good they'd be leaving in the morning but she hadn't hoped to spend her birthday aged or in a hospital. Thanks Hogwarts. Thanks a lot.
Her main concern for the even was a certain graduating Captain but a quick glance around the table told her she wouldn't be finding her yet. Forever late. Figures.
"Hey Abbi." Lex muttered while trying her hardest not to break her back as she lowered herself into a seat near the Second Year. When would she be able to sit without this hurt happening? At first she tried being a trooper, telling herself the school always got their act together by the end of term but this was evidently not the case this year and the smiles were getting harder to force.
"Are you as ready to be rid of this place as I am?" You never aged this much at home, and besides, she had PLANS, ones you couldn't very well get done while being stuck here in the castle. The Gryffindor was SO ready for summer.
Not the graduating 7th year she was looking for but a graduate nonetheless. Lex waved to Christmas from across the table, offering the obviously in tact girl a small smile. The lucky people would be going home disease free. "Excited for the big world after you've left here?" Most were. It was like starting a new adventure.
Her eyesight was becoming a major THING by now, a serious hindrance she thought would have been cleared away but much like the aging itself, it was still bothering her. So much so actually that she had to do a bit of squinting in order to recognize Jeremiah who was sat all the way down there. Rather curious but then the boy was a curious thing by nature. "Jeremiah? Whatchu doing all the way down there? There's plenty of space up here and we don't bite...much." Alice wasn't here, he was perfectly safe and even if she was this aging thing had reduced her biting so there was nothing to worry about. "Come on." Lex waved him over, patting the spot next to her and it'd be awful rude of him to decline, just saying.
Another little lion, this wone looking worse for wear. Seeing another aged kid at the table was only depleting the little reserve of hope she'd brought down to the feast with her. This had to be the worst end of term feast so far on the merit it was the only one they hadn't come up with a solution by. Tomorrow she would be 16 but Merlin knew she could probably pull off 80.
"Hey." There was a quick glance up at the staff table to make sure she wasn't missing anything before her focus shifted again. "Have you heard anything new about the Healers?" Had to ask, he'd been up in the Hospital Wing too and if there was anything he knew that she didn't, Lex would love to hear.
The American, Mitchell was it? Lex couldn't remember, there were a lot of things she really couldn't remember but she was fairly positive it was him so he got a wave from where she sat at the table. "Lookitchu surviving the term without a scratch." She commented lightly. She wouldn't even question how he'd managed to stay young all term. Lots of people managed to pull that off. She wished she was one of them.
"What'd you think of the place?" End of year assessment?
Oh hey, there was someone else she hadn't really run into during the term...outside of Quidditch practices but then Lex was usually more focused on beating then keeping to really exchange words and right after it was usually trips to the Healer. That was NOT how Quidditch was meant to be. As blind as Lex was, she could see the girl in a conversation and common courtesy dictated it'd be rude to interrupt so she gave the girl a smile and a wave.
Christmas smiled at Lexi and said "Yeah i guess that i am as ready as i can be going to be joining up with the reserve team of the appleby arrows not long after the term finishes"
Christmas looked about the table and spotted Lux with a group of other friends and thought that she should make her way over there and hoped that she would be able to invite Lux over to her house during the holidays
West CLEARLY didn't take no for an answer. Not that Olly was against moving over to the Gryffindor table. Except that it involved actually moving. West should've carried her. So she stumbled along, trying to keep up with the other two, glad when they'd finally reached their destination.
Once there she hovered on the spot for a moment, looking at Alice, not quite sure if she was supposed to say something too. Probably not. A few seconds of silence later, Olly shrugged and after giving West's hand a squeeze and Dora a look, she walked over to where Schuyler was sitting.
Who seemed to be busy hugging Coulson. Who was wearing a shirt, sadness.
"Are you cheating on me?" She announced her presence with a small smirk, dropping onto the bench next to Schuyler. "Good choice." Coulson was.

Alex listened as Sander deliver his big news. He was going to be able to play hockey and attend the university at the same time. "I knew it. I knew that somehow things would work out for you. Congratulations twin!" Alex knew that this would be a daunting task, but if anyone could pull this off, it would be Sander. The only thing that concerned her was him going to Russia. Russia was far away and cold and well, Russia.
Sander, I think you are totally crazy, but I mean that in a good way. I know that you can do this. I told you that before. I think you are meant to do this. The way it all worked out......it's in the stars. And think of it this way, you'll have school to take your mind off hockey and hockey to take your mind off school and Tessa to take your mind off both of them.
Alex hoped that Sander knew she had his back on this one. Offering support from afar and all......

"Hey Schuyler." So okay. Two people would miss him. He could deal with that.
"Weird, isn't it?"
Oh, listen to that flat tone.
At least she'd gotten a hug and a smile, even if those were both far from enthusiastic. Weird? It sucked is what it was. The corners of her mouth pulled sympathetically and she patted his chest. "It's okay, Coul. It's only a year."
.....
Somehow that sounded more comforting in her HEAD. Oops. Her mind sought a recovery for that blunder.....

Oh look, Alice had arrived. But it looked like she had a little crowd and Schuyler was not finished with Coul time, so she would catch her after food or maybe on the train.

All the talk about Norway was making Lux more and more excited. "I can't wait for summer!" It wasn't just the prospect of seeing Sander and his family, but it was also seeing the rest of her friends and family. These next few months were going to be amazing.
As her friend proceeded to make another announcement, Lux listened intently. Of course Sander could do this, no matter now crazy he seemed for trying. "You can do it, Sander. You can do anything you put your mind to; you are a Hufflepuff after all!" House Pride represented!
Noticing Christmas, Lux gave her a smile and a wave. It was sad that she was leaving Hogwarts now. Lux would miss her and the rest of the Graduates.

That... was helpful.... Thanks for that Schuyler. Good input. He bit at his lip a little from the inside of his mouth, forcing himself not to frown or any of that. Merlin. He was such a downer lately. What happened to party-goer Coul?
He lifted his head, his eyes having drifted a bit downward after Schuyler's remark, once a familiar voice reached his ears. The remark that followed brought a slightly more realistic grin to his face. "You think we'd make a good looking couple?" That got Schuyler a hand holding offer. His hands were on the warm side, and a little rough. Maybe she wouldn't want to hold it. Eh.
The other hand could be Olly's if she wanted it. It'd just be a really awkward stretch. Or a Schuyler sandwich. That sounded kind of appetizing.
"Sure it's not the other way around?" Leaving Coulson. Staying Scholly. "If you really miss me, I bet Els has pictures you could borrow." Or she might decorate with pictures next year? He was hoping for that. Sorry Olly. A wall of Coulson would be a nice wallpaper, don't you think?

now letting her go he needed to go sit down again.. he went to sit in-between Louis and Lux, wiggling his way in he leaned his head on Lux's shoulder.. grabbing a napkin from the table to wipe his tears away.. he was glad that Louis was in the same year as Bay.. they would be leaving together.. but Lux was a little younger than them so she is going to see all her friends leave.. okay no more thinking of sad things.. gotta stop crying Bay.

Hehe. Yes, thank you, West, coming over here had been a GREAT idea.
Olly grinned and leaned in slightly to prolong the kiss. Once they'd separated she stayed that way for a second longer and lowered her voice. "Dora was a bit reluctant to come." Somehow she'd felt the need to explain her late arrival and stuff to her girlfriend, though. Briefly glancing back over to where the Ravenclaw now was, she shrugged and then eventually turned to look back at the two Gryffindors next to her.
Yes, but now they were back on COULSON AND SCHUYLER!
"Oh yeah. You'd make such a hot couple." They would too. Hypothetically speaking of course. Olly smirked at them before placing both hands on Schuyler's thigh to keep her balance while leaning forward and towards Coulson. "Sorry, I think she's not available though." Neither was he of course but you know.
Oh yes Els DEFINITELY had pictures of him. But speaking of... "I am going to miss you, though." She even reached out to poke his chest before leaning back in her seat again. Yes, she would, yes.

Oh no. Bay was crying. Lux did not like that at all, though she could understand how sucky it felt knowing that some of your friends were leaving the school forever.
As he cried into her shoulder, she put her arms around him in a hug and rubbed his back comfortingly. "It's okay, Bay. You know it isn't goodbye forever. There is still summer and Christmas... and Hogsmeade." He would still be seeing Sander and Alex.

Dragged. She was practically being dragged over to the Gryffindor table by West. It was not attractive and she stopped resisting after a while, but made faces at him anyway because it was fun and she could.
Once there, Dora wiggled her hand out of his grasp and promptly took her rightful seat beside Alice, scooping up the Captain's hand and lacing their fingers together, visibly relaxing as if everything that happened before this moment was erased from memory. There. Perfect.
She didn't need to say anything, right? Right. They didn't have to talk. She'd just sit here and smile and silently enjoy the company of her best friend.

These would do good to keep her satisfied until then, even if she didn't have much of an appetite at the moment.
Smiling at the mention of the leaderboard, Alice opened up the box of cookies. "Thanks. Best thing that's happened all year. I don't get up there often, y'know?" Especially due to switching around positions a lot, but at least she finally got that recognition she so desperately craved.
"Have you got any plans for summer?" She bit into a cookie just as she asked the question, and though she was speaking, the lioness seemed a bit distracted. Her eyes were wandering around the hall, and they landed on the Slytherin table after a while. Was that Dora and West..... with Olly?
Ouch. The next whole year was going to be like that, yeah? Alice felt sort of hurt watching them and wanted to be there too, but it was probably best to get used to being replaced now, she supposed. At least she was over here with Penelope. Shark Bait liked her. Mhm.
Penelope nodded at the thanks and offered a little smile. "S'only 'cause you used to change positions a lot, I think. Otherwise you'd've been up top the past few terms too." She was convinced of that. Alice was an awesome Quidditch player, and the scoreboard clearly showed it. Though even the switching positions kinda showed that too, she supposed, since it meant Alice could play different positions.
As for her summer plans? She nodded. "Yeah. Probably gonna do my waitressing job again for the summer," and hopefully it'd be her last summer doing it so she could do something else after graduation, "and I think Ascanius and I might go to Italy for a bit." And those were basically her only plans so far. Or at least just the big ones that she was willing to share here. "We should make plans." 'Cause hanging out with Alice over summer would be nice, especially considering next term.
Alexa got a smile and wave in return when Penelope noticed her, and it was then that she also noticed Alice looking elsewhere. The sixth year glanced over her shoulder to check and wasn't surprised to see it was in West, Dora, and Olly's direction, and now it seemed like they were coming over here. Or at least West and Dora were. They both got a little smile and wave.
But then there were a couple people heading up to the staff table that caught Penelope's attention. What was that they were carrying? Was it...could it be...finally...? Merlin's beard, PLEASE let it be good.

Alex was taken aback when Bay started to cry. Having just returned from the Memory Book, she was a tad on the emotional edge. Things could go either way at this point. When he came over to hug her and seemed distraught, it took everything Alex had not to lose it. As it was, she could not hold back the few tears that managed to escape.
Alex returned his hug, then pulled back to look Bay in the eye. "This isn't goodbye you know. I don't do goodbyes. This is until we meet again.....and we will meet again. I'll see you soon at Sander's and yes I will come and visit you. Cheer up my knight. You can't get rid of me that easily."
Alex kept thinking to herself. "This is NOT goodbye." There was no reason that she couldn't stay in touch with her friends. And yet, she knew that things were about to be very different in her life.

By the sounds of it, the jittery girl remembered her too. Who said this aging thing got in the way of everything? Pfft. Lex leaned a bit forward too, mirroring the girl, mostly because she wanted to be sure she heard the name right the first time. Repetition wasn't her favourite thing. "Alexa Cambridge but you can call me Lex, most everyone else does." No need to go using the whole thing when you considered such circumstances.
And she was off whispering. "That's awfully rude." You don't come to the lion table and decide to keep conversations to yourself. "But I suppose it's fine. I don't reckon it's me you want to talk to in the first place." And a knowing look between the two of them but Lex wouldn't say anything. Girly could sit there as long as she wanted. Judging by the sudden Puffer/Claw invasion, she would assume this was a free for all of sorts.
Beverly nodded. Lex it was, then. Just as she was done whispering to Jeremiah she heard the the Prefect's comment. Rude, her? Oh, please. Beverly Juniper Wayne has manners, she'd been raised properly. Although, the comment made her feel more nervous, Bev didn't see how her whispering to Jeremiah was rude. She WAS here for him.
Leaning forward again, not to apologize, but to clarify it seemed she didn't need to. The Prefect was a clever girl. "I am glad you understand," she said in the utmost honesty. Shooting Lex a shy grin and pretending not to notice the look she'd given them, Beverly turned her attention back to Jeremiah...

...Whom was grinning like a dork. She was tempted to poke his cheek, but there were people around so...no. Catching his side glances Beverly sent some his way, but was soon distracted when the two adults emerged from the entrance.
HEALER WOMBLEY.
Following him with her gaze up until he stopped at the staff table, Beverly tugged at Jeremiah's hand. "T-That's Healer Wombley, Jeremiiiah!" she exclaimed in a hushed tone. She'd told him about the swab thing and...HEALER WOMBLEY WAS HERE.
Suddenly her spirits lifted and hope made its way in. Did they have a cure? Could she have it FIRST?

Russia was far away and cold and well, Russia.
Sander, I think you are totally crazy, but I mean that in a good way. I know that you can do this. I told you that before. I think you are meant to do this. The way it all worked out......it's in the stars. And think of it this way, you'll have school to take your mind off hockey and hockey to take your mind off school and Tessa to take your mind off both of them.
Alex hoped that Sander knew she had his back on this one. Offering support from afar and all......
Sander smiled gratefully at Alex. He could always count on her support, just like he could always count on Tessa and the others.
"Thanks, Alex," Sander nodded his thanks. "Yes you can say I told you so," he grinned at her before turning to listen to what Lux was saying to him.

Sander leaned over to give Lux a thank you hug. "I can't wait to see all of you again this summer. This makes saying goodbye a little less painful," Sander admitted to his young friend.
Then he smiled his thanks when Lux congratulated and showed her confidence in him. Sander was really amazed that all his friends had so much confidence in his abilities. Their belief just strengthened his.

getting his head on straight he looked over at Sander…. this was going to be the last time he saw him in the castle.. sure they had the train ride and the summer but he was going to miss his close friend!! Bay got up from his seat and stood behind Sander…. wrapping his arms around him.. he started to get teary-eyed… "I'm.. I…. I'm going to miss you" he said trying to hold back his hysterical crying. clutching him tighter he let him go.. "don't worry i'll keep Tessa safe next year" he added.. even though this would be him again when Tessa left… NOOOOOOOOOO… he had to try even harder not to ball..
He moved away from Sander and Tessa and spotted Alex!!! OMG she was leaving too.. why did he have to go get emotional.. he wrapped his arms around her to and gave her a big squeeze. "you promise me you'll come visit me in the summer" he didn't want to loose touch with any of this friends.
now letting her go he needed to go sit down again.. he went to sit in-between Louis and Lux, wiggling his way in he leaned his head on Lux's shoulder.. grabbing a napkin from the table to wipe his tears away.. he was glad that Louis was in the same year as Bay.. they would be leaving together.. but Lux was a little younger than them so she is going to see all her friends leave.. okay no more thinking of sad things.. gotta stop crying Bay.
.....wait....no....no....don't start crying, Sander told himself as he patted Bay comfortingly on the shoulder while the young man cried and hugged him. He had just returned from writing his farewell in the Seventh Year book and it had been an emotional time.
Sander held him until Bay wiped his tears. Then he watched as Bay went over to Alex and gave her a hug before going over to join Lux and Louis, where he leaned against Lux and began crying again.
Sander looked sadly at Bay and tried to hold back his own tears. "Yes I will rely on both you and Cris to take care of Tessa here in Hogwarts next term. I trust you will do you very best, Bay," Sander nodded his thanks to the younger Lion before looking back at Tessa.
Next term. Yes everyone would be back here sitting at this table but he wouldn't be there and neither would Alex. Shaking the sad thoughts away,

You will be given tickets to see me play and I'm sure we will all be invited to see Alex skate and Tessa play pro-Quidditch." Sander reminded everyone.

What was that? There was a cure? AWESOME. How soon could that be given to Alice? Not that she looked old but she wasn't quite as youthful physically as normal... and it got in the way sometimes. So YEAH GO GET THAT CURE, ALICE.
West smiled at her and sat down on her other side, so that she was sandwiched by himself and Dora.
"Hey."
Loppy got a smile and a wave too but otherwise West's attention was definitely on his girlfriend.
Who was graduating.

"I like to think that," she replied, grinning. It made her feel better about the whole thing, that was for sure. Some people thought that switching positions was a talent, but it wasn't for Alice. The fact was that she was only mediocre when she moved around, and mediocre was never good enough.
Waitressing? "Do you get leftovers from the day? You should tell me where so I can stop by sometime." Because food and Penelope were a brilliant combination. "Have you been there before with him, or just Paris? It sounds fun." And more importantly, was she gonna get a souvenir?
"We definitely should." She had to get her fill of Shark Bait time in during the summer, 'cause graduation and all, but it hopefully would be easy.

Last few moments together and Alice wasted some of them playing a game of hide and seek she didn't remember consenting to.
This feast was weird, it made her feel weird. The last time she felt like this, she was 11 and was losing possibly the only person in Hogwarts who'd have cared if she got eaten by a man eating plant. Now she was losing Alice and it didn't really hit her until the big end of term feast that well...it ended things quite plainly. "Course you know I'll be all kinds of offended if you never owl me. Howlers are cheap, I can afford to send you a few." Looking pass Alice she gave a smile and a wave to Penelope before focusing on her again. "And this is the last night I can invade your bed. It's happening and we can all cram on there. Me, you, Atole and Felix....okay?" No wasn't an option here.
"Did you look for me?" She grinned as she turned to face her fellow student leader, tossing a kick Lex's way under the table. "I was just getting my book entry done so I can stay around you for the rest of the night." Because that was obviously her reasoning.
The fifth year's next words brought a smile to her face, because Alexa was so ridiculously awful at hiding when she cared. Or maybe Alice was just excellent at reading her. "Are you going to miss me so much you've got to beg for a letter every now and then? Threats are never the way to go, Cambridge." Never ever. "And I suppose I'm okay with that, as long as your slobbery little thing keeps his hair off my bed."
No matter how much his owner claimed he didn't shed, Felix ALWAYS managed to leave hairs on her sheets, she was sure of it.

She didn't need to say anything, right? Right. They didn't have to talk. She'd just sit here and smile and silently enjoy the company of her best friend.
Since she'd been talking to Lex and Penelope, Alice had averted her eyes from the Slytherin table a while ago. She was quite confused about why she couldn't get her best friend to come to the feast, but Olly and West could. It was sort of a sore point, but the seventh year tried to let it go.
Which was why it was rather surprising when Dora appeared out of nowhere and dropped into the seat next to her. What was she doing here? The lioness noticed Olly over there with Schuyler too- hi Schuyler!- but said nothing. No need to talk to her.
"Hi." She gave Dora's hand a squeeze. "Thought you weren't coming."

Even more surprising than Dora's sudden appearance was West. She blinked a couple of times when he sat down on her other side, apparently taken aback. "Why are you here?" Pause. "I mean... you don't move tables." Almost never. Except that one time he went and sat with Bliss. Ahem.
But yeah, weird. Not that she didn't like it. Alice gave him a nudge.

That... was helpful....

Schuyler's eyes flickered over to Dora as Olly spoke in that hushed tone. Alice seemed pretty reluctant to show up too, judging by her tardiness. Understandable, though. Leaving didn't look very easy.
She turned back to Coul and grinned at his question. Also at Olly's answer, and she took his offered hand. "We would," she agreed confidently. That was what often happened when you put two attractive people together. Though Olly didn't forget to mention one little important reminder, and Schuyler smiled as she watched her girlfriend conveniently stable herself on her thigh and lean across her some to do said reminding. To Coulson. Who was surely well aware, but Schuyler quite liked the tidbit of possessiveness there just the same.
And speaking of couples, Schuyler still didn't know exactly what was going on with Coul and Elodie. Were they splitting? Were they staying together? On any other occasion she probably just would have asked him outright, but seeing as the answer had the potential to put him further down in the dumps than he already was, she tucked the inquiry away for another time.
"Weeeell, let's say it's both ways around." Yeah? Schuyler smiled. She could agree to that. "Better than photos, you could meet us in Hogsmeade sometimes. Or disguise yourself as a trunk and tag along on the express." Coul could probably pass as a trunk if he folded himself up properly.

"...... yeah." Her last feast. Thanks for that reminder, West.
She didn't have much to say either, so she just snuggled into his arm and nibbled on another one of Penelope's cookies. It was really hard to get all the graduation thoughts out of her head, especially because Alice was thinking too much as usual, but she appreciated the quiet.
And it gave her a chance to finally notice the unfamiliar people at the staff table? What...?

Dora scooted even closer when she was nudged. Hi again. She liked being close.
"No I don't. Not if I say no. Or if they find someone better." It was possible on account of her not being the best person for the job. "'Sides I don't want to wait a whole year." For anything. No matter how much his owner claimed he didn't shed, Felix ALWAYS managed to leave hairs on her sheets, she was sure of it.
There were even more people coming to the table now, clouding her immediate view with every colour but red. She supposed it wasn't anything bad. Not like the lions could set the table on fire while she was distracted and even if they did, this was the end of term, she was officially OFF duty thank you very much so Olly got a small wave and Dora got one too as distracted as the girl seemed. Odessa was easily ignored...no really, he was because the healers were here! hsfjsrgfyuwgey!!! Could she walk over and ask that for her helpfulness she be one of the first cured. You could call her selfish all you want, she was getting that cure. "And here I thought we'd be old forever." Then there was kicking.
"I did." Lex said with a matter of fact nod, turning her attention to the table once more. Merlin help them all if Truebridge downed the whole thing when no one was looking. Her face lit up. Whether Alice was serious or not, she was taking it very literally. Why? Because it meant she had an Alice, obviously. "Brilliant! I always knew you had your priorities straight." Except not really but in this instant she did and that was all that mattered.
Wait. What? No. Nope. "Not begging. Never begging. Just stating that it'd be awfully mean of you to have me put up with you for so long then leave without so much as a word every now and then. It's the least you can do." Her smile mirrored Alice's though it wasn't as wide. In truth Lex never put up with her. All the times they did homework together, all the times she invited herself for sleepovers in Alice's bed--quidditch wouldn't be the same without her. "You'll have to admit you'll miss me too and if you deny it then I'll take back what I said earlier." No comments on Felix and his fur. Alice was ridiculous and Felix didn't shed, besides, she just said yes and that was all the Prefect wanted to hear.
