The Lions sit under a brand new scarlet and gold banner representing their house. Their solid, shiny wooden table is nicely polished with all the place settings perfectly set. It was once said that the Hogwarts House Elves are the best in the world. It is up to your stomach to agree... but surely it will! Why wouldn't it like elf cooking?
If you're thirsty, there is also fresh pumpkin juice and water on the table, regardless of whether or not it is actually mealtime.

"thank you.." he said as he poured it all over his whole plate.. he didn't care what it landed on, it made everything taste so much better.. placing the boat back on the table in-between them, just in case she wanted some he smile as he shovelled some more food in his mouth..
"I know how you feel Professor…" he hated being old, yeah they got to learn some useful spells and potions to help them look themselves but it just wasn't the same.. "do you know if they've made any progress…" he waved his hands around in the air.. "about this whole thing…" que sad face.. please.. please…. he had his fingers crossed…. no more aging please…..
Bay's awkward expression and the way in which he looked at her got her thinking, perhaps she ought to explain the basil goop on her face... but it seemed that wasn't what had unsettled him. "Oh thisss?" she asked, eyeing the bits of smooshed broccoli on her arm. "See, I'm thinking, my skin is only deteriorating, it's getting drier and wrinklier and frankly as my bodies best defense, I want to look after it." So here she was, rubbing broccoli into it. "Antioxidants you see, good for fighting free radicals," she nodded, as if this settled the point, but it did bring her back to her earlier issue. "I ran out of basil, and lemongrass," she added, a finger pointing to her green-masked face. Needless to say, it wasn't working.
"Your welcome," she replied, watching as he flooded his plate. She didn't know he was a gravy fan as well? Go figure they seemed to have that much in common, even if in her old age she found herself consuming less of it. The last thing she needed was to be sent to the toilet for the day, that was nasty business.
And of course he understood how she felt, they were in the same boat, padding against a relentless tide. Was there any hope for them at all? As for progress, Seren dropped her fork to her plate, her expression bleak. "Nope.. not that I'm aware of, but I've been out of the loop for so long, one might think I have dementia..." did she? who knew? what were the symptoms? were there symptoms? ...
Ahhh, massshhh. Seren took up for fork again and loaded it with the creamy root vegetable and a slice of carrot.

"ohh….. thats a very good idea" he said… thinking if he should try that too.. meh he shrugged his shoulders and picked up some broccoli… "so i just rub it on my arm??" he didn't have to do anything more with it right?? and if she was going to suggest him to do the facial mask thingy too that his mum does all the time then she would be disappointed.. She did it so often he barely noticed it was on Professor Bentley's face.
rubbing the little vegetable over his arm in circles, he was starting to be surrounded by the little pieces that were falling off.. "i bet the house elves won't like that" he thought while still doing it anyways. ohhh a random question popped into his head… "what are the differences of using broccoli versus basil and lemongrass??" he was curious.. he liked this kind of stuff well besides eating them it was kind of cool to learn their other uses right….
his smile started to fade…. "nothing….." ohhh nooosss.. they needed to figure this out like asap.. "well I hope its before we go home for the summer, I don't think my parents would like that i look like grandpa" but he could get into see scary movies…. hmmmm… this could work to his advantage in some way or another..

It was?... It was! Seren beamed at her not-so-young-looking Lion, he was a charming cub. "Yes, it's not exactly spreadable, would need more cooking time for it to be paste worthy, but it'll do?..." she shrugged uncertainly, watching him rub his broccoli in. At least now she wasn't the only loon sitting at the Gryffindor table. Distance and effort aside, she hadn't been keen on trying her experiment at the staff table, she would have received looks, for sure.
After another mouthful of mash, Seren replaced her cutlery with the broccoli and gave her arm anther vigorous rub. Get. In. There. ... Oh? "Eeeerrr.... well," she started, sitting a little straighter in her seat and turning slightly to face him. "Basil has tremendous anti-aging properties, and it's an anti-inflammatory, so I figure it might help to some extent." And this was the reason why there was no more basil left in the gardens or the greenhouses. She'd used it all, for now. But it would only take mere seconds to mature enough to continue her efforts later. "The lemongrass is for my headaches and migraines, and it smells deliiggghhttful," she nodded with a shrug of her shoulders. "The broccoli is more of an opportune stab in the dark... but it's rich in numerous vitamins and minerals and with it being so green it can only do good."
This is where her logic was flawed, and where desperation to regain her youth took over.
The look on Bay's face was to be expected, and she too felt dejected. He raised a very good point though, the summer break was fast approaching and still not much in the way of a cure. She could only imagine how Aron would react, considering the assurances she kept giving him that things were fine and ... improving. White lies, white lies. "You know you're in trouble when you look older than your parents... I'm expecting a bed at Mungo's if it's not resolved by then."
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
SPOILER!!: Cutty

But then he used the empty table surface created from that distance to lay out still more sweets. "I don't. Still exploring Muggle candy, to be honest. But I could start stocking jawbreakers regularly if you'd like." Their title was interesting in it's implications, which Cutty imagined they'd deliver on. You know. It did what it said. Like wizarding candy. "It's alright, Lex. But, lemme know how you like 'em, so I'll know if I should bother getting more."
Cutty gave a small nod in response to her question. And, as he continued with the 'randoms' like chocolate dipped things and sweets that were neither tart nor sour, nor gummy, that could've been perhaps sorted by colour if he were Lex, his mother's large, black owl flew in and dropped a small sack with a scroll attached to it in front of Cutty, then departed very quickly as if desiring as little time with children as possible. Majnun was not the friendliest of owls and even after many years of ownership was still prone to biting. Cutty looked down at the bag and the scroll attached to the cinched neck. He knew what that was. Eid money. And it was doing nothing to help him calm his excitement when he needed to appear calm and professional for Lex. So he quickly shoved it into his bag and whilst he was in there pulled up a leather covered, latch-closed case. His thumbs hit the side and it flew open. "Who are these for? Friends? Family?" Cause Lex didn't buy non-chocolate. He recalled her thinking it something of a waste of time last year when he'd sold to her. So the jellyslugs 'n such, they had to be gifts for someone, right? Possibly a bunch of someones. He thought about the possibilities this opened if Lex Cambridge had started buying for her loved ones as he laid out the psychedelic paintbox spectrum that were the jelly slugs, bears, worms, fish and other gummies, acid pops and something very big indeed, a gummy snake the size of a rubber toy snake with a banded pattern, each band representing a different flavour.
He pushed the box toward her and invested in the parchment re-adding the totals trying not to break a sweat.
Cutty was scooting and she didn't know why but with all the candy surrounding her she couldn't really say it was something she would actively think about. Whatever his reason, her eyes remained on the candy. Ah he was only just getting into muggle candy. It wouldn't get him all that much business with her but there were occasions where she felt for candy that only the muggle variety could satisfy. "You should. I wouldn't say you should stock a lot but they're lovely enough and I like to buy them from time to time." It all depended on the mood she was currently in and the likelihood of her actually breaking her jaw trying to enjoy one. She would eat with caution until this aging was fixed.
"I'll give you all the feedback I can." Lex liked having her opinions be heard and she liked even more when a change came as a result. Hearing was one thing, listening was another.
Cutty seemed full of surprizes today. First the owl comes with something he's quickly stashing elsewhere then he takes out a case with a latch. Not shady at all Mordaunt. No. Lex watched with detached interest, most of her attention still with the sugar before them on the table. Her brows did raise though at his question. Did it matter who they were for? "Getting a bit invasive aren't we Cutty?" She asked, her lips curling up into an amused smirk. "They're for me and my friends. Family's not big on candy except Jessa a little but fat chance I'll buy anything for her." The four year old could shove off--helloooooo gummy snake. Alexa nicked it from the case and marvelled at it for a moment, ignoring everything else in the moment.
"This I'm definitely having."

"Duly noted. I'll keep the Cadbury on hand in case you're in the mood." And maybe the jawbreakers too if she reported back favourably on them. He needed a system for selling to Lex. Like, first chocolates, sours, then nougats...wait, did she buy nougats or chews?
"Just trying to get a better idea of what to stock is all. Besides, you told me last year that chocolate was your preference." Not her exact words. "So I figured they had to be for someone else." He had no idea who Jessa was, but if she was never getting Lex to buy her candy did it matter? This was Alexa Cambridge in a mountain of sugar. Oh a dangerous sphinx to be sure. So focus, Mordaunt. Aaaalll of your attention!
"I thought you might like that." But saying he'd picked it up just for her might be too saccharine even for the sweet-toothed Gryffindor girl. "Alright, so go ahead and pick out anything you like from that case and we'll do your totals."
