| | |  Gobstones Match: Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor
The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the brisk, early autumn air and it's surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's first match.
The red and blue marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch. OOC: Remember only members sorted into Gryffindor and Ravenclaw Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping. Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again because it's been updated. The thread is moderated so your answer won't show up until the sponsors allow it. Sophie Brown kept her position by the shooter while Gryffindor let their Captain this one shot. Both girls released the shooters and the stones raced across the board again. Going at the same speed for a short while before the blue stone crowded the red one and drove it off-path, then stopped at the Jack Stone.

Prefect Barrington handled the shooter this time, along with former seeker Penelope Greenwell. Both stones raced across the board, same speed, both approaching the goal at high speed until the red one swiveled around and bumped the edge before back-bouncing away from the Jack Stone.

Going with the same players, both girls released the shooters. The stones rolled down onto the board. Keeping the same speed with each other, the marble stones approached the Jack Stone dangerously fast. The blue stone moved slightly to the left causing the red one to fly outwards and successfully away from the Stone.
