| | |  Gobstones Match: Hufflepuff vs. Slytherin
The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the brisk, early autumn air and it's surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's first match.
The golden and green marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Hufflepuff and Slytherin Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping. Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again because it's been updated. The thread is moderated so your answer won't show up until the sponsors allow it. The Head Girl steps up for Hufflepuff this time, Grace Paton stays for Slytherins. Both girls release their shooters and the stones race on the board. Bumping, bouncing over and twisting Stones took their time until they reached the Jack Stone almost at the same time - the Hufflepuff's one touching it seconds before the Slytherin's one.

Alec Summers and Grace Paton released the shooters once again, there was a slight stomp to the younger Slytherin's feet but nothing too obvious. As the stones were shot through the board, they bumped and pushed each other off-course a few times before the yellow stone succeeded in trapping the green one between two obstacles for a while, the Hufflepuff stone reached the Jack Stone meanwhile and guaranteed the points for the Badgers.
