| | |  Gobstones Match: Hufflepuff vs. Ravenclaw
 The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the icy, winter air and it's surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's fourth match.
The yellow and blue marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping. Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again because it's been updated. The thread is moderated so your answer won't show up until the sponsors allow it. Sander switched places with Alec to face Sophie in another battle of the shooters. Second's later the stone's were released. The yellow stone leaped ahead. The blue tried to gain on it's opponent's head start but failed miserably as it suddenly stopped and sprayed the whole ravvie bench in smelly gob. The yellow stone could roll up next to the Jack stone for the points.

Leah gave the shooter to Adi who met another eagle from the benches. They released their stones again. This round was another close one where the spectators sat with bated breath's and waited to see which stone would knock into the Jack stone first. There was a loud clink sound that resulted in smoke puffing up. When the smoke cleared everyone could see that the yellow stone had stopped closest to the Jack stone.

In the last shot of the second match of the season, Alec Summer took up the position for Hufflepuff next to a nameless Ravenclaw. The blue stone was the first rolled down the path, slowly inching it's way towards the Jack stone. Alec tossed in his yellow stone a moment later, a bit more speed behind it. It passed the blue stone, heading straight towards the Jack stone. With bated breaths and hands gripping seats, everyone watched closely as the stones made their way down the table UNTIL... 'Clink!'
The Ravenclaw stone tapped against the Jack stone, causing the putrid goo that the players were so familiar with today to spit at the Ravenclaw players. A stinky ending to an intense game, though no one seemed to be complaining all that much.
"Hufflepuff wins the shot." Leo announced, tapping the score board with his wand to add in the points. "And that's the end of the fourth Gobstones Match of the season! Let's have a round of applause for Hufflepuff, winning the match with fortyone points, and for our player of the match, Aleksander Strand." He happily clapped, glancing around at the others who'd done so as well. "And let's have a round of applause for the Gryffindors who, no doubt, made their house proud today with 6 points and played with hearts of eagles." Leo continued clapping until things settled down.
"All the points earned today will be added towards the Gobstones cup. I hope you come out for the next game to cheer on your fellow classmates and...have a wonderful rest of the day!" Maybe try and get the stink out of their clothes.
