| | |  Gobstones Match: Hufflepuff vs Gryffindor
 The building used for the Gobstones matches had had its doors opened to the chilly air (at least the snow was no more!), and the school's Gobstones sponsors with the help of our lovely house-elves made ready for the term's fifth match with polished benches and game's boards.
The yellow and red marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Benches were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Hufflepuff and Gryffindor Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping. Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again because it's been updated. The thread is moderated so your answer won't show up until the sponsors allow it. Atreyu stayed for the next turn in today's game while Head Boy Alec Summers took the shooter from Strand. When both boys set the stones running across the board, the yellow stone seemed to gain some speed over the red one. They kept at it for a few seconds; the Hufflepuff's marble keeping its advanced position on the Gryffindor one until the former touched the Jack Stone and the latter released the foul gob at the players.

The red stone was released a bit ahead of its opponent and quickly gained up speed that made it roll very quickly across the court, past the jack and over the edge. The yellow stone rolled up next to the Jack stone with ease.
