| | |  Gobstones Match: Gryffindor vs. Slytherin
 The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the brisk, early autumn air and it's surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's first match.
The red and green marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Gryffindor and Slytherin Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping. Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again because it's been updated. The thread is moderated so your answer won't show up until the sponsors allow it. Grace kept at it and now faced Oichi of the lions. The two girl's released their stones. The red leaped ahead of the green and kept a good gap down the court until the red started to swerve out to the left. The green could roll up next to the Jack stone uncontested.

The gap between them remained still all the way up to the Jack stone where unfortunatly the red swerved to the side and stopped. The green inched up next to the Jack.

In the last shot of the second match of the season, Grace Paton took up the position for Slytherin next to Benjamin Artreyu of Gryffindor. The red stone was the first rolled down the path, slowly inching it's way towards the Jack stone. Grace tossed in her green stone a moment later, a bit more speed behind it. It passed the red stone, heading straight towards the Jack stone. With bated breaths and hands gripping seats, everyone watched closely as the stones made their way down the table UNTIL... 'Clink!'
The Slytherin stone tapped against the Jack stone, causing the putrid goo that the players were so familiar with today to spit at the Gryffindor players. A stinky ending to an intense game, though no one seemed to be complaining all that much.
"Slytherin wins the shot." Leo announced, tapping the score board with his wand to add in the points. "And that's the end of the third Gobstones Match of the season! Let's have a round of applause for Slytherin, winning the match with thirtyone points, and for our player of the match, Grace Paton." He happily clapped, glancing around at the others who'd done so as well. "And let's have a round of applause for the Gryffindors who, no doubt, made their house proud today with 17 points and played with hearts of lions." Leo continued clapping until things settled down.
"All the points earned today will be added towards the Gobstones cup. I hope you come out for the next game to cheer on your fellow classmates and...have a wonderful rest of the day!" Maybe try and get the stink out of their clothes.
