A stone courtyard with columns surrounding the square in the middle is the perfect place for students to hang out. Benches have been provided for the students to sit on with friends or for those who want some peace and read their textbook. In the center of the courtyard is an antique fountain surrounded by statues of eagles.

"Happy now?" Delilah tapped his forehead with her wand, a small smirk playing on her lips. "You look goooood."
Yay!
Louis watched as Delilah pulled out her wand and performed a charm on his hair. He waited for a moment, not feeling any different. Did it work? Louis turned around and looked at his reflection in the fountain water. It wasn't the most clear view, but he could definitely see his hair wasn't blending in with the grey, cloudy sky in the background anymore. It was dark. Like it had been during his youth. :')
Lou chuckled softly when Delilah tapped his forehead playfully. "Thank you." Seriously. She had made his entire day. Week, perhaps. His precious, precious hair was finally back! Temporarily, at least.
And then...
Silence.
Louis was still just smiling at the girl beside him, blue eyes distracted by her own before he realized it had been a little too long. Long enough to make the staring awkward; rude, even. Clearing his throat, Louis looked away.
"Right. Well. Thanks again, I really appreciate it," he said, running a hand through his hair and then looking down at his hand as if expecting to find his new hair colour on it. He couldn't believe how great it felt just to have colour in his hair again.

"Not that the grey didn't suit you.. but I like this better." Delilah looked slightly amused at the expression on his face. He looked incredibly relieved, not that she could blame. His hair was literally filled with grey. But honestly, he was so pretty that the grey actually suited him... ANYWAY.
... And then he was just smiling at her. He had the prettiest smile, did he know? She really wanted to tell him... and his lips. Okaaay. She quickly looked away, her cheeks turning slightly pink. She really needed to get those thoughts out of her head. Ugh. They were just so distracting. His lips were distracting. WHY was he so pretty? If she wasn't so nice, she would definitely have pushed him into the fountain. "You really don't need to thank me." Delilah, finally said.

So. Darn. Distracting.
Louis laughed at the girl’s comment. “I like this better too. Much better,” he said with a nod. Dark hair all the way. He could worry about grey when the time really came, hopefully not for a few more decades.
“Of course I do,” Lou replied as Delilah assured him there was no need to thank her. She seemed a little flustered, though. “Are you alright?” Is my perfection too much for you to handle, Lady D?! No, but seriously. He worried. She was so happy just a second ago, now she seemed so bothered. Perhaps he’d done something wrong without realizing?
No, you jerk. I want to kiss you so bad and you're so ridiculously nice and I wish you you'd kiss me too.
Delilah was so going to have to see the Healer about this too. She needed to stop thinking about this boy.. and his lips. "Of course, I am. Why wouldn't I be? I'm perfectly okay and fine... yes." Delilah ran a hand through her hair and looked down at her feet. She honestly felt like such an idiot. But this was so weird! Why did she want to kiss someone who didn't like her that way?
...... Maybe she needed to kiss someone else to get over this ridiculous obsession with Lou. Yes, maybe.

Mo's joints were feeling creaky and stiff today (everyday), and he fully acknowledged that his need for a yoga session was greater than usual. As he made up his mind to roll out a mat in the courtyard and have an easy session, he offered up the opportunity to his team to join him. He always wanted them to join him, and some where better about it than others.
Once in the courtyard, Mo rolled out his mat and stared down at it in consternation. Getting down on the ground seemed really really difficult right now.
Aidan wasn't one of those who looked forward to these yoga sessions. Maybe - maybe - if Mo held them in the privacy of their common room or locker room, he'd dig it a bit more. But instead their captain insisted on the fresh air, which Aidan translated as looking foolish in front of anyone in the student body that walked passed. Yet, the fifth year attended anyway.
He also had a mat, insisted upon by his mum and he was grateful for it, for the stone of the ground wasn't comfortable. He unrolled his, looked at his salt-and-pepper-less haired captain and hesitated. "Are we doing the standing positions first?" Or only? Mo didn't exactly seem eager to sit at the moment.

Yoga was probably a good idea, Brynn would admit, if she wanted to play in next weekend's Quidditch match. Her muscles were all stiff and achy.. and the last practice left her sore, making her think that she wasn't stretched out enough. Though to be fair, she felt sore after taking the long journey from Ravenclaw tower to pretty much anywhere.
But at any rate, she made her way out to the courtyard at Captain's suggestion and she sort of just stood there for a moment, watching the older Ravenclaw stare down at his mat. Oh. Was she supposed to bring one too? Well, she wasn't about to go back in and find one, she was here now. "Hi Mo Marcus," she said, sighing a little as she leaned against a bench seat. And there was their Seeker too. "Hi Aidan.." He got a little wave. So, now what?

Lily had a bit of a spring in her step as she made her way down to the courtyard, swinging her yoga mat by the strap. Today was a good day for yoga. In fact, almost everyday was a good day for yoga. So maybe that's why they were going to have yoga as a team...or hopefully as a team. You never knew with all the old people, whether they would forget or what.
Making her way into the courtyard, the seventh year came to a stop, taking the strap off of her mat and rolling it out near Capt'n Mo's. "Hey Mo... how're ya feeling today?" She said in greeting, slightly worried about Mo not being able to get up off his mat after he got down...if he got down. Aidan and Brynn both got a smile from the seventh year before she took a seat on the center of her mat. Yoga time!

....Yoga?
....That was a funny word..
And judging by that thought alone, Josette could only wonder what in Merlin's name that meant. Well actually, she can recall reading about it somewhere but the thought of where she'd seen this term couldn't come to the little girl's brain at the moment. Of course there was only way to find out and that involved going to find her team!
Managing to find her way out to the courtyard her blue eyes settled on Captain Mo & her teammates. She couldn't help but muster up a smile at them as she approached. With a hand on her aching back, the first slowly raised her other hand to give a friendly wave. "H-Hi everyone.."

Hope shuffled her way to the corridor not really sure how to feel about what she had just got herself roped into all of a sudden. She held the yoga mat as if it was a deadly bomb about to go off at any moment and she wasn't exactly sure what yoga was other than a fancy name for bending and stretching. However, she was assured that it all had a point. A valuable tool to her Quidditch abilities.
She took a deep breath and joined the already small like group of her teammates rolling out her own mat and staring at it for a long moment. Was it on the right side? Did it even matter? Was one side softer than the other? Probably not. With a final huff, she tied back her grey-in-some-but-not-all-places hair and gave her best effort at looking prepared.

Gosh, everyone keep their hair on...Vesper was here. This was no small feat considering her achy knees and equally achy back. Stairs were a bad idea and whoever designed all the stairs in Hogwarts should have...something awful happen to them...
Though, they were probably already dead...
Slowly strolling up with her yoga mat, the Ravenclaw gave her teammates a nod. The nod meant hello. Yes, because words failed her at the moment. If Ves opened her mouth, she was positive it wouldn't be good. Yawns and light swears; both very unlike her...but both very possible in the moment.
...and then she was staring at Marcus. Are we doing this?

Oh, all of them. Hello, team. Mo grinned at them, feeling a renewed sense of vigor at their cheerful little faces and their eagerness to be there. Some of them were a bit elderly looking, like Mo, but they were here. And he was gonna get down on that mat if it killed him.
"Yeah, so we can start with the mountain pose," Mo settled into a standing position on his mat after kicking off his shoes, his shoulders relaxed and his hands pressed lightly against each other. "And then we'll do arms UUUUP into the upwards salute." So this didn't hurt so far. Lookit them.
For the life of him, Benjamin couldn't remember why exactly he was carrying a squishy rolled up foamy thing right now. What he did know was that it was awkward, as every time he went to switch the arm that was holding it, it somehow unwound and got bigger. At least it was red. Red was a good colour.
And, ho, ho...what was this going on in the courtyard? Benjy squinted at his team mates standing there on brightly coloured blankets. "Having a picnic, are we? Hope you brought cake." Or was he meant to bring it? He patted down his cardigan. Certainly wasn't any there. Hmm.
Oh...er...Okay. Hope kicked off the slippers she had become accustomed to wearing, only because they saved her a lot of trouble when it came to having to tie her usual shoes, and stepped upon her own mat. She watched Mo with her head cocked to her side and mimicked what he was doing. Easy enough, right?
Cake? Someone say cake? She would love some cake. Mmmmm....cake.

There were mor old people on the team than Lily had realized. Which was unfortunate since they had seemed to be a team that would have been the best ever, which was hard to do with a bunch of old people who couldn't really run or do vigorous workouts to build up their fitness...but apparently they could do yoga, specifically the standing yoga poses. The seventh year glanced over at her captain to see where they were going to start before standing and getting started.
Mountain pose and the reeeeeeeeeeeach up towards the sky and maybe throw in a little back bend since she could. She could work with this for a warmup but hoped that she would have the chance to try out some of her more difficult poses that she had read about over the summer. All of this was kinda in her plan for after graduation. She was hoping to continue school somewhere nearby to London area and try to get in shape to join a quidditch team the following year. Yoga was just going to be one part of her workout today...

Laying out her mat, Josette pulled her grey hair into a ponytail before doing anything else. Before she knew it, Mo was starting this..yoga thing. She looked at her Captain as he did something called a mountain pose? Apparently this involved putting their arms high up in the sky in what looked like they were saluting. So following everyone else's movements, the first year slowly lifted her arms high above her head as everyone else had been doing.
Hmm...her body didn't seem to be aching at the moment...YAY!
Brynn sat on one of the benches in the courtyard, basking under one of the sunbeams that illuminated her spot on this warm Spring day. She had thought about sitting with her legs tucked under her, but her joints didn't move that way anymore. Even though her body felt like she was about 80, she didn't look quite so bad on the outside anymore. Not with the potions and spells she had learned to make herself look closer to her actual age. It was just too bad she spent so much of her time doing that sort of thing that she was really too tired to do much else.
Hogwarts certainly hadn't been what she expected. She was once so excited to come here but that seemed so long ago and now she was just too tired to do anything but maintain a relatively youthful appearance. She couldn't even keep up with her homework and studies, not that it really held her attention anymore. The redhead was sort of wishing for summer and going home, seeing Mimi and Maddox again. She wondered if they had any more puppies. Thoughts of home drifted into thoughts of her mother. She didn't want her to worry so her owls weren't quite as forthcoming as maybe they should be but once she did get home she hoped her mom could get her to a real healer. Because it didn't seem like the school was doing a whole lot to help and, like she told that very handsome nice reporter, she was a little worried about where this would lead if it wasn't cured soon.

Despite reading the Daily Prophet regularly, Fern had not seen the latest article concerning the mysterious aging of students and faculty. This was because when she received a copy of the paper in the owl post, Fern skipped straight to the good stuff – the fashion, advice, and entertainment columns. If she knew a winged horse race would be making an appearance, she’d read the sports section too. So when Fern spotted her BFF sitting on a bench, she had no idea that Brynny had earlier confessed in a national newspaper how frightened she was for her life.
”Brynny!!” The Hufflepuff called, running over and plopping down besides the Ravenclaw. ”Hey! Hey Brynny! What’s up?”

Cliche checkered blanket? Check.
Baylux pineapple and cucumber juice? Check.
Homemade cupcakes with vanilla frosting? Got it.
Cucumber sandwiches and turkey sandwiches? Yep.
Lou was all ready for this mid-afternoon picnic. Now that spring had finally arrived, the sun had dared to scare the winter clouds away, melting the unfriendly white snow and bringing all the beautiful green plants back to life.
Siiiigh.
It was a beautiful day, and it made Lou feel rather jolly as he laid out the blanket on the green grass and proceeded to sit, removing the unnecessary Gryffindor scarf from his neck. He began to set up the picnic while he waited for Lady Lux to arrive.

Lux really liked picnics.
Happily, the girl practically skipped over to the courtyard where she saw that Louis had prepared everything for them. "Hey, my Squire. How are you this lovely day?" And it was a lovely day. The sun was out, birds were singing, and it was almost May. Only a little more than a month until her birthday.
Plopping herself down beside him, she beamed. "Guess what, Lou? I'm going to be 13 soon!" It was a huge deal, turning 13. A major milestone in her life where she became a teenager.

Louis had been setting up the plates when he heard his beloved Lady’s voice. At the sight of the little redhead, the boy grinned. “Good day, m’lady,” he replied, ever the formal squire. “I’m doing great, thank you for asking.”
As Lux proceeded to plop down beside him, Lou proceeded to pour some Baylux into a cup and handed it to her. Yes. Baylux Juice had officially become a thing now. This is how far the boy had gone with his lie.
At Lux’s birthday announcement, Louis’s face lit up. He raised his eyebrows and faked surprise at the news. “Really? I’d almost forgotten about that,” he lied. Truth was, he’d been thinking about the girl’s birthday for the past month or so, secretly planning the details for a surprise party. BUT. LUX MUST NEVER FIND OUT. So the squire was to play it cool until the awaited day finally arrived. “Have you thought of what you want for your birthday?”

Beam.
This was wonderful. A picnic, and Baylux to be drunk. Happily, she took her glass and had a sip of it. Rather an interesting flavour, but it was refreshing and something she had gotten rather used to by now.
It was a good thing that she had reminded Louis of her birthday, because he seemed to have forgotten all about it. "Oh, yes. I want a Hobbit or a mermaid... but I have a feeling that won't happen." Rather sad, really. But it was okay, because there were other things she liked besides that. "I am not very picky. And I love books and Quidditch stuff." Surely she would get some awesome presents.

Louis, who had also poured himself some Baylux, nearly spit out his drink. "A hobbit or a mermaid?!" he repeated. How was anyone supposed to get that?! "M'lady, I think mermaids are a bit difficult to catch..." And let's not even get started on hobbits.
Then Lux was listing more plausible things. Books? Quidditch? He could do that. Lou made a mental note of this. "Well, I'm sure you'll get plenty of amazing presents," he assured her with a warm smile. "By the way... have you made any plans for that day yet?" He'd better remind Bay to ask Lux to hang out with him that day so no one else can snatch the birthday girl away. Bay was, after all, in charge of taking her to the party.

Giggle. Louis was funny when he almost spat out his drink. "I know, but I want one. Go into the lake and make it happen." Joking of course, but it was still something that a Lady could ask her Squire to do.
Did she have plans? Lux hadn't honestly thought about it. "Not really. Hang out with friends I suppose." It had not really entered her head, since she was not having a party this year. It was sad, since it was a big birthday but she would deal with it.
