It's a fine sunny afternoon and a perfect day for a lesson on Charms. When you walk into the classroom, the sun is shining through the windows that are opened just a crack to let in some fresh air. The classroom is set up normally; desks and chairs are in their proper rows and aisles. The black board is cleared off and Professor Fuller sits at his desk, happily awaiting the arrival of his darling little students.
.... Scratch that.
Professor Fuller is currently reclined back in his chair, his legs slung over the corner of his desk. His head hangs over the back of his chair and his mouth is hanging open. He's snoring, too. Oh, and is that drool? Yeah, that's probably drool. Was it time for class?

Bart listened as he said what they were going to do. So this was to help their faces, his face could use some work he guessed. Wrinkles around the eyes and his huge forehead, though hair on his head would help that problem. He tried to stay focused as the spell was told to them and the wand movement. Setting his wand aside he practiced the words first. "Frontis Allevatus... Frontis Allevatus...Frontis Allevatus" Was he saying it right?
Looking around he noticed his older teammate. He really hadn't spoken to Bay much outside of quidditch so he shuffled his feet towards the boy and tapped his shoulder, "Hey am I saying this right? Frontis Allevatus?" The boy was older he would know. He then looked around. "I guess we are suppose to do it on someone. If you want you could work on my face I don't care." Would that help him out? Then he would have to find someone to do his spell on, but that could wait.
Picking up his wand he practiced a few more times. "Frontis Allevatus... Frontis Allevatus...Frontis Allevatus" Brown eyes turned back to the seeker, was he right?

Bay heard Bart talking to him.. moving away from his group Bay walked over to him.. "yeah man it totally sounds right to me.." he said while laughing. looking around at everyone else who seems to be practicing on each other Bay agreed "yeah looks like it doesn't it.." he gave a wink.
oh really Bart gave him permission to try the charm out on him… "alrighty dude.. here we go" he said while thinking of spell "Frontis Allevatus" over and over again..
Taking out his wand Bay swished it in the air and said out loud "Frontis Allevatus" and pointed it at Bart's face.. seeing it un-wrinkle a little bit.. "dude I think I made your face better?" he said while smiling.

He fully turned to the fifth year as he said he was ready to try out the spell. Bart stood cool as a cucumber, because really if he got it wrong what worse thing could he do to this ugly mug that the he was wearing as a face lately. Watching as Bay got ready he saw the wand and heard his words. Then he just waited. His face felt a little different. Maybe not as saggy as it had been feeling. His eyes shot up to the ceiling could he see his eye brows a little too much still.
He didn't think he could. This was awesome if it worked. Then he laughed, [b] "Anything has to be an improvement, but at least this beard hides some of the wrinkles. "Do you have a mirror? I want to see." Did he hear something about mirror at the beginning or was his hearing still not working too well. Maybe there was a charm to fix that as well.
He looked around for one. "Should I do your face or has someone already done you?" He squinted to look through his blurred vision. The boy was older, but his face was it needing anything done to it?

Awesome Bay was glad that he had gotten it right… "you look a lot better..better…. now" laughing.. errrr "yeah someone has already done my face but i think a few more times won't do it any more harm"
"standing here is okay?" he asked Bart.. and if it didn't work he always had his stuff left over from potions for his wrinkles.. always good to have a back up right.. "do you worst" he said laughing but secretly he hoped that Bart would succeed.

So he was going to let Bart do the spell on him as well. He wasn't going to promise to get it right, but he'd try his best. He held his wand and gripped it firmly. It wasn't like he'd never tried a spell on someone before, but this was their seeker, captain would freak on him if he did something that would harm quidditch. He had to do everything he could to get it right. So he concentrated a bit before nodding, "Alright.. here it goes." Frontis Allevatus... Frontis Allevatus...Frontis Allevatus he went over in his head a few times.
Pointing his wand at Bay he took a deep breath, "Frontis Allevatus" He squinted and moved closer, did it work? He looked him over, "Ah.. dude.. I think it didn't do what it was suppose to." Was that more wrinkles? No maybe his eyes were just screwing with him, he squinted harder. He was having a hard time seeing things lately. Yeah that was probably it just his eyes not doing what they were suppose too.
Nicely done, Theo. He had a very SMUG grin on his face when she looked in the mirror at her improved face. So, they had both cast the spell successfully, which meant they were done. Theo opened his mouth to say a much needed GOODBYE but OH... WAND... IN... FACE...
"HEY!" After she cast it, Theo covered his face again. Too late. "I said ONE TIME!" He was seething.
Well, two could play at that game. He held his wand right back at her and said, "Frontis Allevatus!!!" MAJOR DRAMATIC SWISHING. Because he wanted the last word, obviously. Once he had done so, Theo got up from his chair and literally legged it back to his regular seat. He sat down as casually as possible, then turned around to send Delilah a GLARE.
Delilah tried to NOT laugh. She REALLY did... but she ended up laughing anyway. His reaction was hilarious though. "You did it TWICE. So, I'm allowed to...."
..................... OH. MY. GOSH. NOOOOO.
The girl was completely taken by surprise when he cast the spell at her. AGAIN. Okay, she obviously was NOT amused now. Her precious face. Didn't Fuller say they weren't supposed to use it more than necessary!? What was Theo's darn problem? Delilah checked in the mirror to make sure her face looked okay before she stomped over to where he was before taking a seat next to him. GLARE.
"You apologise. Right. Now." Wand was pointed at his face, of course.
Justine was one of the happy few who were not experiencing old age, and she was very pleased about it. It wasn't the wrinkles, or the gas, or any of those superficial problems she was worried about, it was more about the aches and the pain and the loss in energy, those were the things Justine wouldn't have been able to live without.
Now of course, it seemed that not having these forsaken symptoms would actually hinder her. How was she supposed to practice? On other people? But she still didn't really know anyone. Well, no matter she could still practice the incantation, and hopefully she would manage to find some kind wrinkled soul, who would be trusting enough to let the french girl practice on them.
"Frontis Allevatus," Justine said, in her clear French accent, making sure to properly enunciate. "Frontis Allevatus, Frontis Allevatus, Frontis Allevatus," Justine said again, making sure she had the words down. She swished her wand carefully through the air after she spoke, making sure not to point it at anyone as she practiced the motion. Good, she had that down too.
Now she only needed to find a willing victim, er... Study partner.

Theo turned to the front and IGNORED Delilah's existence completely. He really did NOT expect her to come storming over to where he was sitting and have a go. The Slytherin braced himself for another spell to come flying his way, but what she said took him even more by surprise. Him apologize??
HIM
APOLOGIZE????
Theo turned to face her and readied himself to give her every bit of SASS that he had in his body, but okay, wand. Wand in the face. Perfect timing for a professor to butt in, just saying. "Get. Your wand. Out of my face." He managed.
"Right now."

Delilah rolled her eyes but she MIGHT have lowered her wand. Just a bit 'cause the last thing she wanted was for Fuller to deduct points.. No. But, he really was annoying her, you know? More than a certain Elodie Robertser and that was definitely saying something.
"What on earth was the last one for!?" She asked, not too loudly. Ahem. Delilah kind of didn't want to draw attention to this.. argument or whatever it was.
Besides, was an apology too much to ask for? NO. C'mon, Theo. Out with it, already.

Good. She was lowering her wand. He could totally arrange a detention for her, you know. If he paid his certain fave professor a visit, she would sort it out for him. POWER, HE HAD THE POWER. And with that power, came extreme cockiness. As soon as she lowered her wand, he started smirking like a real prat. "You started it." Theo hissed quietly, because he didn't particularly want the professor to hear all this commotion either. But for once, he was actually in the right.
You don't surprise!attack a person and not expect to be surprise!attacked back, just saying. Delilah had to brush up on her DADA, clearly.
Theo folded his arms over his chest and looked at her expectantly. If she wanted an apology, he wanted one first.

I managed to smooth out the right side. If you want you can work on the left side," Sander turned and pointed out the area to her.
....yes work there and mind the eyes.
"Why, thank you." She gave him a mock bow and a grin in return, then refocused on his face. His crows feet? Yeah, Sander did have quite bad ones. The way his face creased and scrunched made it seem like someone had etched the lines into his face with a quill. Merlin, yes. Far more important than his mouth.
"Tessa can have your mouth, then." Focusing on his left eye, Alice examined the area before raising her wand up to his wrinkles. A swish of her wand did the trick. "Frontis Allevatus!" The folds around Sander's eyes lifted themselves and smoothed out once more, and she mentally praised herself for a job well done.
Well. He could go put himself up for grabs again now, right? Still had loads of wrinkles to go. "Thanks for letting me use your face as an experiment, I guess." Yep. Hufflepuffs were good for that.

Delilah just glared at him more, wishing she could wipe that smirk off his stupid face.. If only they weren't in class. The girl looked away once more, her cheeks turning slightly pink. Mostly because, she was annoyed at herself for letting someone get to her so easily. UGH. "How on earth is this my fault?"
.. And then he was just looking at her. Wait. Was he expecting HER to apologise or something? Because that was SO not happening. She eyed him some more before she abruptly stood up, running a hand through her messy hair. "You know what? I think we'll just.. yeah. See you around.. or not." Whatever.
She returned to her seat, hoping against hope Fuller hadn't noticed any of that. Oh, jeez.

Theo decided to just stare her out. He tapped his fingers lightly on his desk as he did so, just waiting for an apology. It was very annoying, but that's exactly what he was TRYING to be. It didn't take long for Delilah to crack, and he put it down to her not wanting professor Fuller to get all up in their faces. Fine by him.
Yea, you walk away.
He blinked as he watched her leave, then turned to face the front again.

Siiiiiiiiiigh. It was starting to be this whole thing where the professors taught them how to fix the symptoms, but they didn't FIX the issue in the first place. It was frustrating... Mo didn't want to keep hiding his wrinkles and joint pain and gray hair. He wanted not to be 70 years old.
He wanted to enjoy being 16, frankly.
For now, though... whatever. He also wanted to learn the new spell. "[i]Front-is Al-lev-at-us. Frontis Allevatus." Pretty straightforward, actually. He swished his wand back and forth as he eyed those around him for a partner. Someone old, preferably, or someone reasonably to be trusted to point a wand at his face.
He wiggled his fingers at the Ravenclaw girl sitting nearby. "Hey. Partners?"

Justine was watching the progress of the students around her, taking mental notes of everything from the difference in effects, with a more elegant and precise swish, the spell was much stronger and made a better improvement on the target, the less precise, the less effective. Easy enough.
The young girl was roused from her thoughts by a rather wrinkled Ravenclaw boy. At least, she thought it was a boy, it was a little hard to tell with everyone so wrinkled and stooped over with old age.
Justine nodded, a polite smile on her face. "Oui, sure," She said, before standing in front of boy. "Justine, by zee way," She added, figuring that she ought to introduce herself before performing magic on his face, for some reason, that just struck her as rude.
"Should I start zen?" Justine asked, holding up her wand, but not yet pointing it at the boys' face, again, that would be rude.

Sander stood perfectly still as the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain, swished her wand over his crows-feet. He wanted to close his eyes but forced himself to keep them open. Was she done? Sander could feel the skin next to his eye tighten. He reached up and touched the area. Yes she had done it perfectly.
"You're more than welcome," Sander nodded to her. Too bad she didn't have any wrinkles he could practice on though. Sander looked around hoping to find a willing partner.
SPOILER!!: Anna
[QUOTE=PuppySara;11564361]Anna looked over then looked in the mirror, huh... she had a few wrinkles showing her herself apparently... No, no, no, no that would never do. She looked up as someone asked to work with them. She would not do this on herself, she didn't fully trust herself.
She smiled and went over there, "I'd be more than happy to have you practice on me!" She nodded and went over to him. Annaleecia paused, not sure if she'd met this other puff before... so better safe than sorry, yeah?
"Annaleecia, but feel free to call me Anna or Annalee." She nodded, "And you are?"
Sander watched as a young Hufflepuff girl approached him. Was she volunteering to allow him to practice on her? Sander smiled at her....please say the words...say the words.
....and she did. She was offering. Sander smiled gratefully at her. "Hi Anna. My name is Aleksander but you can call me Sander. All my friends do," Sander introduced himself. Yes she had now fallen into the category of friend. Only a friend would allow him to practice a spell he had just learned on them.
"Thanks for offering to let me practice on you. I still have plenty of wrinkles you can practice removing too. Ready?" he smiled down at her even as he raised his wand.
Sander studied her face before picking an area above her forehead. Concentrating on what he intended the spell to do, Sander swished his wand over the area, and said the words to the incantation, "Frontis Allevatus."
He watched as the wrinkled skin above her forehead, slowly begin to stretch and smoothen out. Breathing a sigh of relief, glad to see that he hadn't botched up his spell, Sander smiled.
"All done. Good as new," Sander picked up his mirror and showed Anna the area he had fixed.
"Would you like to practice on me now?"
.....yes he trusted his fellow Hufflepuff.

Oh, yeah! Marcus offered a hand to the girl, grinning just a bit in a way that would be a lot more effective if he wasn't an old man. "Marcus, and nice to meet you. Housemates should not be meeting for the first time in class. And wrinkly." He noted she was a fellow 'Claw.
And since she'd offered... Mo turned his cheek toward her, pointing at a particularly wrinkled bit by his left eye. "Sure, give it a go. Do your best not to blind me or set me on fire, if you can help it. I have total confidence in you."

No partner? Well, that wasn't really a problem. Ella had the handy dandy mirror on her desk and more than enough wrinkles to work with. SAD LIFE. Now to see if she could rid herself of them with this charm. She'd be careful, though. Didn't want her face to go all weird after trying it out one too many times.
Looking into the mirror, Ella touched her face gingerly, tugging at her cheeks and at the skin around her eyes. Merlin, she looked sickly. This didn't ease her mind at all and she quickly stopped assessing her condition, opting to try the charm instead. Here goes.
"Frontis Allevatus!" Swish!
... ... ...WELL that had been anti-climatic. Wrinkles were still there. Maybe the ones around her eyes looked a little less prominent but still. She wasn't impressed with the first results she'd gotten. How many times until there was a noticeable difference again?
Toothless - Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror - DoctorDonna
The Gryffindor listened carefully as the charm they were going to working with over the course of the class was introduced to them all, including the loud one. Frontis Allevatus. Ben copied down both the spell and the given pronunciation into his notes, as well as the fact that it was simply swish for the wand movement when actually casting it on whatever target came up. He assumed it was the face given they were talking about wrinkles. Not to mention they had taken care of general skin within the last potions class.
And there was the demonstration, complete with the use of the mirror It seemed simple, but the second year couldn't help but get nervous as the professor further commented on what could happen if not done correctly or at least overdone to get it correct. Yikes...he didn't want his face, or anyone elses face messed up cause of him.
Hopefully they could just do it once or twice with no troubles.
When he was done practicing of course. So his wand...whereever it was at the moment...was left there as he went to work just getting used to the spell. "Frontis Allevatus...Frontis Allevatus..." Now a little differently. "Fron-tiss al-eh-vay-tuss...Fron-tiss al-eh-vay-tuss."
Awesome, the girl was agreeing to be her guinea pig attempt the spell on her. Hopefully things would not mess up, since they had gone so well when she had practiced with Sander. "Nice to meet you, Beverly. I won't make you look anything except wrinkle free on your forehead!" Wasn't that wonderful?
Swishing her wand at Beverly's forehead, she said, "Frontis Allevatus," And her forehead became smooth again. "Tada! And you don't look like a balloon either!" That should make the other girl happy.
She'd hold her to her word, Beverly would. And as it was, having a wand directed over her face was not a very nice feeling. Being a witch and all, her instinct told her brandish hers out and hex the girl in front of her. BUT. This was practice and it'd make her look nicer. Less prune-y.
So, closing her eyes, then opening one, she waited for the girl to do the charm. It felt like a wave of fresh breeze had just brushed her forehead.
"I'm not a balloon, right?" Mini panic! She grabbed the mirror and inspected her forehead.
Oh. Hey. Smoooooth. BROWS.
Glancing at the girl, Beverly shrugged. "Not bad, Lux. Thanks." And thank Merlin and her lucky stars and her ancestors that she was fine. PHEW.

Sander decided to offer himself up again...all in the interest of magic, anti-aging and house camaraderie. Walking up to the badged one, Sander smiled,"Would you like to practice on me? I'm Sander by the way," and introduced himself.

A simple swish of the wand, a simple incantation, and--” Piers snapped his wrinkled fingers for emphasis ”Your face is defying gravity. You look younger, feel younger, less saggy, less wrinkly.” Turning to board again, he again started to write.
Frontis Allevatus (FRON-TISS - AL-EH-VAY-TUSS)
”Frontis Allevatus,” he read out loud, putting a hand behind his back secretly trying to massage it because it ACHED. ”With a swish of your wand, this charm will lift your facial wrinkles. Now, as with most things in life, practice makes perfect. You’re not going to look young with just one single swish. It’ll take a few to get rid of stubborn wrinkles. However... TOO many times will have you looking like a balloon at its limit. And your face WILL stick that way, so be careful.” He was so not liable for this, right?
That being said, it was time to demonstrate. ”Everyone pay attention!” Piers grabbed his wand and a mirror. Looking at his sad wrinkles at the corners of his eyes, He swished his wand over the area once while saying the incantation, ”Frontis Allevatus.” and his wrinkles were lifted away from his eye, almost as good as new. Almost.
”I want you to practice the incantation first before trying it on your own. If you are lucky enough not to look like a raisin, find someone with the symptoms and practice on them. I’m sure they would be willing to get any help they can.” Who wouldn’t want a free facelift??!?!
OOC: Please make at least three posts for this activity. For example, one for practicing the incantation and two for trying out the charm. You will get two points per post, but only 6 points (three posts) total. You CAN make as many posts as you want, but if your post doesn't contain either practicing the incantation or performing the charm, please don't number it. It's distracting. You only need to number the posts that I explained. You will have 45ish hours to complete this task before we move on! Have fun! Feel free to work with a partner and I encourage to to RP with someone you normally don't! =)
Wooo hooo! Alex was excited to actually be doing something about the dreaded wrinkles. Even though she had not mentioned wrinkles in her why I don't like getting old response, she did not like having them. So first she set out to practice the incantation. "Frontis Allevatus", Alex said. "Fron-tiss Al-eh-vay-tuss, Fron-tiss Al-eh-vay-tuss, Fron-tiss Al-eh-vay-tuss.". She practiced repeating it slowly, taking care to enunciate every syllable. Finally Alex felt comfortable saying the words and decided to try the wand movement.
She started with a simple swish of her wand and then practiced the swish over different parts of her face. Alex couldn't wait to try the charm for real. Goodbye nasty wrinkles!!!

Justine happily grinned back, eager as always to meet new people no matter how wrinkly they might be. Okay, Marcus, yeah he was definitely a boy then. "I agree, zhough, it does make it a bit more interesting," Justine laughed. Yes, interesting, that was the only way Justine could put it, she had often heard before coming to Hogwarts that the school was prone to misfortune, but she had never expected an endemic like this.
"So, vat year are you in Marcus?" Justine asked, as she looked over his face, making a good study of it so that she could better note the difference. She didn't even think that such scrutiny might be perceived as weird, she was far too focused on doing well. "It's a little hard to guess with zee aging," Justine added, a second later , with a small smile of amusement.
"I'll do my best, but no promises," Justine joked, steadily pointing her wand. "Frontis Allevatus," She said, swishing her wand with precision and care. Justine watched with a satisfied smile as that small patch of crinkled, craggy lines slowly smoothed themselves out.
"Zhere, much better," The Ravenclaw said.

Alex was ready to combine the incantation and the wand movement. It was time to see whether or not the charm would work for her. Looking around the room for prospective partners, Alex was a little dismayed to see everyone seemingly partnered already. She supposed that she could just practice on herself, she had a mirror after all. Then she noticed that Sander seemed to be free so she decided to take a shot.
"Hey Sander, have you practiced the spell already?" . Seeing that his wrinkles had lessened, Alex figured that he probably had. " I need a partner. Want to have a go?" She hoped she might be able to at least get one try with him before she had to look for another, more wrinkled partner.

While Sander waited for Ella to respond to his query, a familiar face approached him. It was his name twin, Alex. Sander smiled in greeting, "Hey Alex. I did practice some and have others practice on me. However, I do have a couple of wrinkles I need ironing....or in this case, smoothing out. So yeah, I think I trust you enough to get some removed," he informed Alex as he leaned down to give her better access to his face.
"Give it your best shot," he smiled encouragingly at her.
