It's a fine sunny afternoon and a perfect day for a lesson on Charms. When you walk into the classroom, the sun is shining through the windows that are opened just a crack to let in some fresh air. The classroom is set up normally; desks and chairs are in their proper rows and aisles. The black board is cleared off and Professor Fuller sits at his desk, happily awaiting the arrival of his darling little students.
.... Scratch that.
Professor Fuller is currently reclined back in his chair, his legs slung over the corner of his desk. His head hangs over the back of his chair and his mouth is hanging open. He's snoring, too. Oh, and is that drool? Yeah, that's probably drool. Was it time for class?

... Honestly, she wasn't sure if she wanted someone she hardly knew to basically throw a spell at her pretty face. Like, what if he messed it up? What if her face turned into a balloon?
Oh, he was being summoned. That took quicker than usual.
Delilah? Huh, interesting. Theo got up from his seat next to Ascanius and plopped down next to the Hufflepuff that he BARELY knew... wait, why didn't he just ask Ascanius to be his partner? Oh well. "Sup?" Ahem. So... he was gonna practice the spell on her, right? Not the other way around. She was okay with this, right? Yes? Right. Okay.
She was brave to let this Slytherin practice spells on her.
Not so good with those, ya know.
"So... you got the wrinkles, huh?" Stating the obvious, and stuff. He could see them. Not as bad as others, but wrinkled nonetheless. Gross. Anyway... the spell. Theo had to look at the board again, because he had forgotten it during his stride over to a different seat, apparently. Frontis Allevatus. Frontis Allevatus. Frontis Allevatus. He pulled out his wand, closed his eyes and pointed it right in Delilah's face.
Ready?

Okay. Delilah watched as the Sytherin flopped down on the seat next to her. "Listen, you mess up my face and I'll mess up yours. Understand?" Just to get that clear. The boy didn't look too smart and she was a little worried.. Gulp. Um. Riiiight. Anyway. Moving on.
.. Yes. He was totally stating the obvious so Delilah chose to ignore that. Whatever. The girl turned to face him just as he pointed his wand at her face. OKAY. Awesome.
"Just get this over with, yeah? ... And OPEN your eyes!" ... GOSH. He was seriously starting to freak her out!

Theo entered his mind palace... which was rather bleak... but... at least he was trying. He repeated the incantation over and over, until Delilah told him to OPEN his eyes. Well, okay, rude. "I was THINKING." She did want this to go well, didn't she?????? Oh, gosh, he hated practicing on other people, especially when they started threatening him. Kinda puts a guy off, you know.
"Fron..." Oh. His wand slipped a little in his hand due to his super sweaty palms. Delilah didn't need to know he was sweating, though, so he cleared his throat and adjusted his wand holding. Okay. "Frontis Allevatus!"

... Theo was hesitating and Delilah was PANICKING. Okay, of ALL the people who were attending this lesson, she just had to partner with this one. Just her luck.
She waited impatiently as he seemed to take AGES to cast the spell. Like, SERIOUSLY. The girl ran a hand through her messy blonde hair when...
... Yeah, okay. He did it, finally.. and her face didn't FEEL any different. Was that a good sign or not? And most importantly, had her wrinkles disappeared? "How do I look now? Better?"
It was her turn now. WOOT. She pulled out her wand and pointed it at his nose, smirking just a teeny-tiny bit. "Ready, Kinsley?" Hmm?

Uh...
Actually...
Nothing had happened. But Theo was a flipping good liar, so he went along with it. "You look 10 years younger." He beamed and tucked his wand away. Well, as much as he loved spending time with pretty Hufflepuffs... this boy had things to be...
O______O
No, NO... noooooo...
Theo whacked her wand away from his face and spread his hands over his cheeks, covering his eyes too. "I don't have any wrinkles!!!" So if she was to cast the spell on HIS face, he would whither away into nothing, right? He looked over his shoulder frantically, hoping that the professor would back him up on this one.

.... Um. TEN years younger? Isn't that a bit much? Delilah didn't even look old, in the first place. She narrowed her eyes at him before grabbing the mirror from her table and staaaared at it. Her face looked FINE. In fact, the very few wrinkles could still be seen. OH. So, his spell hadn't worked after all... Smirky smirk. She was happy.
WAIT, WHAT.
No, no, nooooo. He couldn't do this to her. Delilah gently pulled a hand away from his face, looking extremely annoyed but she was going to TRY being a little patient. "That's good, yeah? So even if I cast the spell, you'll look the same. I promise." She needed to practice, okay? Theo, please cooperate.

AW CRAP, THE MIRRORS.
Theo flinched a little because something inside him wanted to whack the mirror out her hand too. He had quicker reflexes than her, he could tell (because he was a chaser, ya know), but he didn't wanna look like a total idiot, so he didn't bother. He rolled his eyes a little when she started smirking. If you're gonna be like that, then maybe he would just have another go, hmmmmmm??
His eyes were still covered, so when she TOUCHED his hand, Theodore jumped and almost fell off his chair. You don't TOUCH a Theo. He yanked his hand back, but dropped them both to his side.
FROWNING HARD AT YOU RIGHT NOW.
"You really think I'd risk messing up my YOUNG face?? In the hands of a stranger??" Theo folded his arms and looked away coolly. HE wasn't as stupid as she was, clearly.
Hufflepuffs.

~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Right. So Adi had the incantation under control. Trying out the spell on himself was up next. Around his eyes seemed to have more wrinkles so why not start there? As long as he didn't poke his eyes, he was good.
He raised his eyes to his left eye. "Frontis Allevatus!" Annnnd swish! Did the wrinkles vanish? The Puffer grabbed the mirror on his desk and checked his reflection. Ugh! Negative. He was still a wrinkly old man around the eye area. Time to try again.
"Frontis Allevatus!" Swish! Eagerly Adi checked his reflection again. Still wrinkly. With a disgruntled sigh, he raised his wand again.
Sander looked at himself in the mirror and nodded in approval. "Not bad. Not bad at all. " Sander grinned down at Alice.
"Does it? Hmmm...I do want to leave some for Tessa to work on too," Sander looked over at his girlfriend who was still practicing her spell. "Maybe you can work on my crows-feet. I managed to smooth out the right side. If you want you can work on the left side," Sander turned and pointed out the area to her.
....yes work there and mind the eyes.
As he waited patiently for Alice to work on his wrinkles, Sander looked around the classroom. Surely, there must be someone he could practice casting the wrinkle removing spell on?
Sander decided to announce that he needed a partner, "Is there anyone who will allow me to try my spell on them?" he called out.
He hoped there was....
Anna looked over then looked in the mirror, huh... she had a few wrinkles showing her herself apparently... No, no, no, no that would never do. She looked up as someone asked to work with them. She would not do this on herself, she didn't fully trust herself.
She smiled and went over there, "I'd be more than happy to have you practice on me!" She nodded and went over to him. Annaleecia paused, not sure if she'd met this other puff before... so better safe than sorry, yeah?
"Annaleecia, but feel free to call me Anna or Annalee." She nodded, "And you are?"

"okay.. so did you want to practice first and then i can try?" he said.. he will be the best partner ever.. just stand there and let anyone casts spells on him… better yet he might just fall asleep through this whole thing.
She laughed slightly and smiled, "It's not that bad." Er, well, then again she didn't have any room to talk considering she was one of the lucky ones that wasn't aging into an old person. She smiled slightly and looked at him, "Sure I can try." Annaleecia gave a small nod and grabbed her wand. She paused half a second to run the pronunciation of the spell through her mind again.
She looked up at him and carefully spoke, making sure she got it right, "Frontis Allevatus!" Anna gave a small smile as a couple of the wrinkles did go away. Maybe in the grand scale it didn't seem like much, but hey, it was something! Plus it was her first time doing it, maybe she'd get better if she did it again.

Hufflepuffs.
Right, AWESOME. Theo was being SO difficult right now. Delilah just needed to practice this freaking spell, was that too much to ask forrrr?
She huffed a little as he literally jumped when she touched his hand. Like, what was that even about? She had nice hands with nice skin.. ANYWAY. That was beside the point. Aaaaand she was literally running out of patience.
Delilah glared at him. "I happen to be quite smart and I know for a fact that I won't mess your face up. Could you pleeeease just help me out here? PLEASE?" Her blue-grey eyes were still glaring at him, though.

What a baby. Sheesh. How was he a leader again?
Theo could feel her getting frustrated with him, even though he wasn't directly looking at her. He ignored it, still with his arms folded tight around his chest, until she started to like, beg him. Was it really such a big deal? Sure, they'd get a couple of points for mastering this lame spell, but who cares? He sighed HARD and turned to face her again.
"FINE..." You whiney little Hufflepuff. Did he really just agree to do this?" "One time. But only if you let me try it on you again." Since he hadn't done ANYTHING the first time around so it totally didn't count.
Theodore closed his eyes, took a few deep breaths and waited for the impact.

A spell to get rid of wrinkles?
...Okay...sure....but that wasn't her problem. Lex didn't HAVE a tremendous amount of wrinkles. They were there but they weren't something that would cause her to break every mirror in her Common Room to avoid seeing them. They were manageable with her father sending her creams to take care of it. Did anyone expect her to be walking around with grey hair AND wrinkles to kill? No. The hair was clearly something she could do nothing about but the wrinkles...not so much. That was were that shop down in Diagon Alley came in handy.
She was fine with practising on herself, but partners were required....eh...maybe she'd work on the incantation for a while.
"Frontis Allevatus....Fron-tis Al-le-va-tus.....Fr-ontis Alle-vat-us..." And the swishing of course. That needed practising as well. Vivi had told her back in her first year that wrist movement played a decent part in casting. You couldn't have too much and you couldn't have too little.
"Fron-tis Al-leva-tus..."
Swishy swishy swishy swish.
Alright, now the second part. "I need a partner." Stating the obvious. "Please."...As an afterthought because apparently that sort of thing mattered.

HE AGREED.
Delilah was a little relieved but still very much irritated. She'd prctically just begged him to it.. and honestly, it wasn't even worth it. BUT. The girl was a dedicated student. Unfortunately.
......... HUH. Try it on her again. Delilah SIGHED, running her fingers through her hair again. He was very infuriating, did he know? She bit her lip from replying ( because that would just lead to another argument ) and shrugged. Yeah, whatever.
She pointed her wand at him once again. "Ready?" Yeah, no. She wasn't even going to wait for him to answer. With a light swish of her wand, she said, "Frontis Allevatus!"
.... "Your face is wrinkle-free now." Smiiiiirk. That was just to annoy him. Oops?

Reason: I forgot to write the post number. Sorry, SARAH.
A FACELIFT, hmmmm? Excellent. Tobias found himself smacking his lips together and grinning widely at the prospect of a new anti-aging magicky thing. Charm. Charm was the word he was looking for.
This sounded brilliant, and Tobias rubbed his hands together before reaching for his wand................... and realising he didn't have a clue where it was. The boy-slash-old-man scowled and squinted and groped around his desk with aged hands for the wand in question, and it was only when he reached up to push back some of his flyaway white hair that he found it tucked behind his right ear. Tobias snorted to himself in amusement, which quickly turned into a wheezy laugh, which then progressed to a hacking, nasty sounding, cough.
It took a few moments to get past that, but eventually Tobias was back in the game, watery eyed and READY.
So, practice first.
"Fron-tiss Al-eh-vay-tuss... FRON-tiss Al-eh-VAY-tuss... Frontis... Allevatus... Frontis Allevatus..." the Hufflepuff croaked in his old man voice. Once he'd tried the incantation a few times he switched and practiced the swish instead.
But only for a little while, 'cause of his aching bones.
Okay one more run through of the incantation before getting to work...
... uh... what was it again?

BECAUSE NOW WAS TIME TO PRACTICE, WOOOOO!!!
Brilliant! The Hufflepuff got her wand out at once and did the movement. Swish-and-Facelift, hehehehehehe! That was funny. She mouthed the incantation once as she read it from the board. Simple enough! And aha! See there, professor Culloden!?? Charms helping with wrinkles and whatnot! So much easier to use a spell, wasn't it? Sophie sure thought so.
Swish. And Frontis Allevatus. The words made Sophie mentally chuckle, because she knew enough Latin to understand what that meant. Hehehehehehe! Funneh!
"Frontis Allevatus." The girl decided to practise out loud once. And a swish!
Not bad!
Now onto finding a wrikly partner... Was that Alexa looking around? "Alexa! Want to partner up?"

Oh, god... it was coming. Theo shook his head no when she asked if he was ready. Of course he wasn't bloody ready. But before he could change his mind and run in the opposite direction, Delilah was casting the spell. A few moments afterward, he opened one eye to observe his surroundings. Well, he definitely was not dead. In fact, he hadn't really felt anything. Picking up mirror immediately, Theo checked himself over, in every nook and cranny of his face.
...
"I didn't have any wrinkles in the first place." He said again, taking a moment away from his face examining to staaaaare at her. When he looked back, the only difference he could really notice was the dark circles under his eyes looked less defined. He wasn't even sure where they had come from. Tiredness? Stress? Probably both. Theo put his mirror down silently, and decided not to mention this detail he had noticed. Make her think she had done nothing like he had before. Moving on... it was his turn again.
Theo picked up his wand, pointed it confidently at Delilah's face, and then did what he had done the last time. Closed his eyes. Hopefully she wouldn't interrupt his thinking time this time around. Frontis Allevatus. Frontis Allevatus. Frontis Allevatus. He opened his eyes, readied his wrist for the wand movement, and said, "Frontis Allevatus!" SWISH.
BOOSH.

Don't tell her she would have to start walking around the room trying to find people that weren't already taken. She wasn't up for something like that and neither were her joints. She could try yelling but that might leave her ears ringing even more than it already was from the people who were talking extra loud earlier. Everything was extra loud, she couldn't stand it. Why couldn't everyone just whisper?
The Gryffindor whipped around when she heard her name. Sophie! "Yeah sure!" Yeeeesssssss, partner found and not much twisting and moving involved. This right here was a success.
She approached her friend but soon realized the girl didn't have a wrinkle on her to begin with. Uh...you know...not a problem. Nope. She wasn't going to go looking for another partner so Sophie would do perfectly. There was one concern though, and that was what would happen if she casted this on someone without wrinkles? The Professor did say one casting wouldn't be enough to REALLY make an impact yeah...? So in theory the girl's face would be fine....she hoped. "Lemme see how this could work."
Only one way to find out. Without asking, Lex raised her wand and did the swishing motion. "Frontis Allevatus!"
Juuuuuust checking. Sorry Sophie.

So she was going to die?
Like, it was just hitting her that if there was no cure for this aging and if she kept getting older then presumably she was going to be in the dirt in what...a few weeks or something? Chin!wobble. SHE WAS TOO YOUNG on the inside FOR THIS! Bad headspace was bad. MERLIN! She needed to just forget about it and work..on the incantation..which she'd missed because she'd been thinking and WHOOPS!
The eighteen year old glanced around the room, straining to hear her classmates and the incantation they were saying. What was that? Frontis Allevatus? Oh, okay. Seemed legit. She could work with that.
Was that right? She was tempted to call out to someone for confirmation but that'd be RUDE so instead she twisted a slightly-greyed strand of hair around her finger and kept at it. "Frontis Allevatus...Fron-tiss-al-eh-vay-tuss."
Oh, god... it was coming. Theo shook his head no when she asked if he was ready. Of course he wasn't bloody ready. "That's what YOU think. Look how clear and PRETTY your face is now. Not that I think you're pretty or anything. Please don't get the wrong idea." Buuuut, yes. Delilah was incredibly pleased with herself. Charms was her strongest subject, after all. She knew she could cast the spell without messing up it. Frankly, Theo should be thankful.
The girl raised an eyebrow when he put the mirror down and remained quiet. What? Nothing? He wasn't even going to thank her!? Well, that was RUDE. Hmph.
... And then he threw the spell at her face once again. Much faster this time, thankfully. Did it work, though? Now, THAT was the question. She picked up the mirror and examiiined her face. Hmm. Yeah.. she couldn't see those wrinkles now. In fact, her face looked HOT. Wow.
Still holding the mirror in one hand, she suddenly pointed her wand at the boy's face with the other and said, "Frontis Allevatus!" .... What? She wanted to try it once more, okay? Practice makes perfect and all that.
Don't tell her she would have to start walking around the room trying to find people that weren't already taken. She wasn't up for something like that and neither were her joints.
Yay, Alexa was coming over! But... she looked... disappointed? Oh, probably because Sophie didn't have any wrinkles. Well...
Before the badger could tell the prefect that it was alright, Alexa was already casting the spell on her face. Wut! Sophie blinked several times and raised her eyebrows as she felt her cheeks slightly stretch upwards. Was this what botox felt like? Blimey!
"Apparently it worked!" skdjfnsjfdsjk weeeeird!! The Hufflepuff cast a nonverbal 'Finite' on herself before getting ready to try the spell on her fellow classmate. Alexa didn't mind Sophie doing that, yeah? Having your face stretched like that when there was no wrinkles on her face felt.... odd. In a bad way. Eep! "Okay, here it goes." She let the Gryffindor know before swishing her wand in front of her face. "Frontis Allevatus." Sophie said firmly, doing the wand movement and... kind of working on Alexa's face as if it was a... painting or something.
Wrinklesss, be gone! With no Potion, hehehehe!

Were they done now?
Nice.
Nicely done, Theo. He had a very SMUG grin on his face when she looked in the mirror at her improved face. So, they had both cast the spell successfully, which meant they were done. Theo opened his mouth to say a much needed GOODBYE but OH... WAND... IN... FACE...
"HEY!" After she cast it, Theo covered his face again. Too late. "I said ONE TIME!" He was seething.
Well, two could play at that game. He held his wand right back at her and said, "Frontis Allevatus!!!" MAJOR DRAMATIC SWISHING. Because he wanted the last word, obviously. Once he had done so, Theo got up from his chair and literally legged it back to his regular seat. He sat down as casually as possible, then turned around to send Delilah a GLARE.

Well it certainly didn't LOOK very comfortable but that might have been for the fact that Sophie didn't have wrinkles so there was nothing but already firm and tight skin to stretch. Yeah...she could see the discomfort in that right there but the girl wasn't complaining and she wasn't on the floor screaming in pain at having her face stretched so...it was fine.
Was she meant to remove it? She was...but...but then the girl's skin didn't look as tight as it did just a minute ago--SOPHIE SILENT CASTED DIDN'T SHE?? That was what happened, yes??? "Cool...." She wanted to learn to do that one day. Hex a kid and he'd never know.
Alexa braced herself for what would be the spell cast on her. The Gryffindor's face wasn't riddled with wrinkles, no, but they were there so hopefully it wouldn't be as uncomfy as Sophie's might have been. There was no real way to tell, the girl hadn't complained, only said it worked. "Okay, ready." Slowly she could feel the skin lifting. It tickled a bit and had some face twitching in response but Lex tried staying as still as possible. It was another minute before the tingling and lifting ended. "How do I look? Did it make much difference?" She wasn't expecting a full transformation after what the Professor explained but some difference would be nice.
"I could try casting on you again but...yeah..." She used her wand to gesture to her face. "Eh, I guess you can just remove it again." Because practice needed to happen. "Here goes."
The swish, the intent, the casting, she had them all. "Frontis Allevatus!"

Now, as with most things in life, practice makes perfect. You’re not going to look young with just one single swish. It’ll take a few to get rid of stubborn wrinkles. However... TOO many times will have you looking like a balloon at its limit. And your face WILL stick that way, so be careful.” He was so not liable for this, right?
That being said, it was time to demonstrate. ”Everyone pay attention!” Piers grabbed his wand and a mirror. Looking at his sad wrinkles at the corners of his eyes, He swished his wand over the area once while saying the incantation, ”Frontis Allevatus.” and his wrinkles were lifted away from his eye, almost as good as new. Almost.
”I want you to practice the incantation first before trying it on your own. If you are lucky enough not to look like a raisin, find someone with the symptoms and practice on them. I’m sure they would be willing to get any help they can.” Who wouldn’t want a free facelift??!?!
OOC: Please make at least three posts for this activity. For example, one for practicing the incantation and two for trying out the charm. You will get two points per post, but only 6 points (three posts) total. You CAN make as many posts as you want, but if your post doesn't contain either practicing the incantation or performing the charm, please don't number it. It's distracting. You only need to number the posts that I explained. You will have 45ish hours to complete this task before we move on! Have fun! Feel free to work with a partner and I encourage to to RP with someone you normally don't! =)
She didn't have much experience on the whole aging thing so she'd remained quiet up until now. Which was something good and didn't make her feel bad about being clueless about it. Wrinkles, stiff joints and the like? Thank you she was glad she didn't have to be affected by all this. She smoothed down her perfectly blond hair and kept listening to what was being said.
As it was time for the practical part, she out of habit scribbled down the incantation and eyed it for a good minute. But that wouldn't do it, of course.
She then, pulled her wand out of the holster and waved it around murmuring the incantation. "Frontis Allevatus," Maybe she needed to pronounce it slowly. "Fro-nti-s Alle-va-tus," She repeated pausing the wand movement. It was easy and didn't need practicing.
Though, she wondered, how could she practice the spell on herself and see if it worked when she hadn't gotten older abnormally unlike others. Hmm.... Maybe she didn't need to have wrinkles to test it on. Perhaps the spell could decrease any aging effects whether it was normal or not.

Bay tried to stay still while Anna tried out her spell.. closing his eyes he heard her say the incantation… and then he opened his eyes. his face starting to feel a little bit tighter.. "Thanks" he said while giving her a smile…
oh Sander is here awesome.. he stood back and let them try it out on each other..
Well it certainly didn't LOOK very comfortable but that might have been for the fact that Sophie didn't have wrinkles so there was nothing but already firm and tight skin to stretch. The swish, the intent, the casting, she had them all. "Frontis Allevatus!"
Sophie smiled at Alexa's reaction to her nonverbal, but carried on with the work. It waasss pretty cool, though, wasn't it? Sophie herself loved it! Anyway. The Charm had been cast on the Gryffindor now, so focus!
"Yeah, I believe so!" The Hufflepuff studied her younger friend's face and did notice she didn't look that much older anymore. If it wasn't for the hair. But they were focusing on the skin now, yeah? Yeah. Sophie wsa about to say she needed to do a bit more, but the other girl was already getting ready to cast the spell on Sophie again. "Go ahead." She chuckled andddd braced herself.
Hello again, botox feeling. Gah! "This feels weird!" Sophie said with an funny smile because... stretched skin was stretched. Eek! And after a second or two... she lifted the spell. There, much better, heh. "You're good at this, you know." The badger gave her a normal smile this time. Merlin, she'd never get a facelift when she was older. That thing felt WEIRD.
Her turn again, then. "I'll just finish it up." Sophie told Alexa as she swished her wand in front of the girl's face again and cast 'Frontis Allevatus' nonverbally. This was once focused badger right here, you could tell by the look on her face as she stuck out her tongue a bit and worked on the last details on Alexa's face. "There! I think that'll do." The girl looked much, much younger now, in Sophie's opinion! Much younger indeed.
