Sander listened patiently as everyone shared what they hated the most about being old. Then Professor Fuller summarized what everyone said before teaching them the spell to remove the wrinkles off their face.

Sander picked up his quill and first scribbled down the incantation to the spell and then the wand movement. Then Professor Fuller gave them the okay to start practicing the spell. Sander looked around. He wanted to try the spell on his fellow friends, but before he did that, he wanted to practice saying the spell and the wand movement. Practice made perfect. At least that was what he was taught to believe.

The wand movement seemed simple enough. A swish of the wand over the area you want the spell to work on. The incantation was a different matter. Sander looked down at what he had written down and read out the words slowly.

"Frontis Allevatus...Fron-Tiss....Al-Eh-Vay-Tuss...Fron-Tiss....Al-Eh-Vay-Tuss...Frontis Allevatus....Frontis Allevatus," he first started out slowly enunciating each word and syllable clearly. He kept repeating the words over and over again, until they rolled off naturally over his tongue.

He was now ready to practice casting the spell.

Oh, yaay. Lux was sure that a lot of her fellow students were happy about the spell they were going to practice now. Since she did not have wrinkles herself, it was not crucial to her, but she did want her friends feeling better about themselves. Seeing the professor write on the board, she jotted everything on it down in her notes.

Repeating the spell under her breath, she tried to get the pronunciation correct. "Fron-tiss - Al-eh-vay-tuss... Fron-tiss - Al-eh-vay-tuss... Frontis Allevatus... Frontis Allevatus... Seemed simple enough, and the wand movement was nothing complicated.

It was time for her to try it out. Turning to Tessa and Sander, she said, "Mind if I try this out on your foreheads?"

Tessa quickly scribbled down notes about the spell- she didn't want to forget it. She wrote a few more things down- pointing at the face, and a swish of the wand. Now, to practice...

"Frontus- no, Frontis. Frontis... Frontis frontis." Okay, the first part down, now for the second part. "Frontis Allevus? No... Allevuts..." she sighed, looking down at her notes and the pronunciation she had written down for it. "Frontis Allevatus... Frontis Allevatus," she murmured, finally feeling it settle in her mind.

Now, a simple swish... She practiced the motion a few times, finally feeling comfortable with it. Okay, now, would it work on her own wrinkles?

She was tired of these temporary fixings for old-people condition. Wasn't there a potion that fixed that? But...she's not lost hope yet. There was a cure out there. Yes. Keep it positive, Wayne.

That's about all she could do, right?

Listening to Fuller, she wrote down the useful bits. Waiiiiiiiit. Face could stick like a balloon for like, ever? Heh. Woah. What happened to embracing the look? She totally rocked it. Not. Still, it would be nice to look at her young face again. Enough motivation right there.

"Fronnn - tiiissss-" Cough, cough. "-Aleh - vaaaay - tuuusss." COUGH. Ugh. Her lungs hated her. Next thing you know she'll be coughing up a lung. Maybe simple incantation practicing would do.

"Frontis Allevatus... Frontis Allevatus..." Yeah. Sounded good. But now the thing was, would it work for her ENTIRE body?

Her face wasn't the only wrinkly area.

Sander smiled at Lux's enthusiasm. She was lucky that she hadn't aged like both Tessa, Bay and he had. Not being able to practice the spell on he had suspected that she would be looking for someone else to practice on.

"Sure. No problem, Lux. I'll make sure to reserve the wrinkles on my forehead for you," he chuckled even as he agreed to let Lux practice on him. Had he actually said that. Reserve the wrinkles.

Then he glanced over at Tessa. He wondered whether she would let him practice casting his spell on her. So he walked over and whispered in her ear. "Do you mind if I practice on you, too? I have wrinkles that are yearning to be straightened out by you in return," Sander sought permission from his girlfriend.

Anna looked in the mirror trying copying her professor's movement first, then tried to make sure she was saying it right, "FRON-TISS - AL-EH-VAY-TUSS!" Always good to say it slow first, right? She repeated it a little faster, but paused, for some reason she'd slipped and instead of 'Al-eh-vay-tuss' it came out 'Eh-a-vlay-tuss'... At least she wasn't waving the wand yet right? She gave a slight giggle to herself at her slip up... They were ok, after all right? So long as she didn't end up hurting another student or something on those lines right?

She tried again slower that time and smiled catching it easily that time. Annaleecia spoke a little quicker to put it together and got most of it out clearly. She smiled and did it again, coming out almost exactly as it was supposed to. She nearly squealed in delight and smiled, "Frontis Allevatus!" K... She was pretty sure she had that covered... now to find someone who needed to get rid of the wrinkles to test it on, right? After all, she didn't have any wrinkles right now.

Awesome..anything to help Bay look like his old self was a step in the right direction in his books… he took out his parchment to make sure he remembered this for later..

alright now was time for him to try it out.. Taking out his wand he looked down at the spell… "maybe i should just try to sound it out" this wasn't Bays best part of anything really.. speaking quietly to himself he sounded it out slowly. "Fron-Tiss-Al-Eh-Vey-Tass" ugghhhh it didn't sound right to him, the last part didn't sound like the Professors.. he has to try better..

Squinting down at his parchment… instead of trying to go by memory he read them out one by one.. "Fron…." okay he had that part "Tiss" that part was somewhat easy… "Al" just three more to go "Eh" he used this word a lot lately so he was fine with it… so now he has found out where his problem laid… the last two parts.. "Vey…nooo that didn't sound right…" he said to himself… "Vay…." that sounded much better now.. oh and this last mistake was easy to fix.. instead of saying "tass" it should have been "russ" alrighty… lets try to do this altogether now..

"Frontis Allevatus" he said..oh phew it sounded just like the Professors.. "off to a good start so far" he though while practicing his swishing movements with his wand in his hand..

"swish….swish….swish…swish"

Awesome! Lux laughed at Sander's silly comment and then pointed her wand at his forehead. Fingers crossed that she would get this right and his forehead would be wrinkle-free. With a swish movement, she said, "Frontis Allevatus." Yay, a forehead without wrinkles. "Look, Sander! I did it!" Was she good, or was she good. Now it was time for her to practice the spell again on someone else.

Bay saw what looked like a young Hufflepuff working on her wand movements and pronunciation as well… and she seemed to be doing a great job.. moving over towards her Bay stopped at her desk.. "Errr..Hi.. I'm Vic--- Im Bay" he said while smiling at her.. "I was wondering if you wanted to partner up with me to practice the spell?" he asked… what could go wrong right..

Anna looked up as someone introduced themselves... She gave a weak smile, "Hello, Bay." She nodded and replied cheerfully, "I'm Annaleecia, or Anna." Oh, he wanted to team up? That was actually her first offer from anyone to work with her, "Of course!" She smiled, though she was still slightly nervous, "Just don't get to angry if I mess something up please?" That was her main worry right now, she didn't want someone snapping if she made them look a little older... or a lot... She didn't really know what the bad effects could be if she did it wrong.

Looking around the room for someone else who seemed to have wrinkles, she spotted a girl she did not know. Well, it was time for her to meet new people and she did love doing that! With a smile on her face, she walked over to the girl. "Hello, I am Lux. Can I practice my spell on you?"

Ohhh another Anna… "Very nice to meet you.." he said while relieved that she said she would partner up with him… awesome so lets get this party started right.. "oh its alright.. its not like you can make me look any worse then i do now" he said while wiggling his bushy grey eyebrows.. "trust me.." he laughed… "cough" oh man the fun stuff of being old "sorry about that.." he told her

"okay.. so did you want to practice first and then i can try?" he said.. he will be the best partner ever.. just stand there and let anyone casts spells on him… better yet he might just fall asleep through this whole thing.

Sander stood patiently as he allowed Lux to work her magic on him. When she was done, he looked at his reflection in the mirror and then smiled at her.

"Well done, Lux. You were successful on your first attempt. I hope that I'm lucky when I cast the spell myself," he told his young friend.

Sander had decided that before he experimented on his friends, he would volunteer to cast the spell on himself. The best guinea pig ever. If he messed up, it would be on himself, and not a friend or a loved one.

Unholstering his wand with one hand, he picked up the mirror with the other. He studied his reflection in the mirror. He hated seeing his face this way, but was resigned to the fact that he might look this way for the rest of his life until someone found a cure to revert everyone back to their real selves again. Sander hoped that it was soon because he didn't relish going home and seeing the shock on his mother's face, when she realized her oldest son, now looked older than she did.

Shaking his head to dispel those thoughts from his mind, Sander concentrated on the task at hand. He squinted at his reflection and decided that the first thing that had to go was the crows feet around his eyes. He fingered the wrinkles and began to worry. Weren't they too close to his eyes? What if he missed the area entirely and zapped his eyes instead? Would they swell up and....?

'Stop that Sander. You will miss if you keep thinking like that,' Sander silently admonished himself. "It's time to concentrate!"

Sander took in a deep breath and slowly released it. 'Frontis Allevatus...Frontis Allevatus' he kept repeating the incantation to the spell over and over in his head. It was time.

Concentrating on what he intended the spell to do, Sander held up the mirror and watched as he swished his wand over the area where his crows-feet blossomed outwards from his eyes and said, "Frontis Allevatus"

...and watched as the wrinkly skin around his eyes began to stretch and smooth out. Sander ended the spell saying,"Finite" before holstering his wand. He reached up with his fingers and examined the area. The wrinkles were now gone.

Sander decided to leave the remainder of his face for others to work on. There were plenty of wrinkles to go around.

She was clearly having the same hearing issues as one Michael Toussaint, because Fuller's words barely reached her ears. At least Alice could still see the board, so she knew what they were doing. The spell didn't look too hard, and Charms was one of her best subjects. Hopefully she could manage.

But due to Alice's diligent application of that Wrinkle-Heal stuff, she wasn't much in need of the effects of this particular spell. It wasn't as if she was vain or anything, but the change in her appearance unsettled her a whole lot, enough to make her apply unctions to her skin and alter her hair color with magic to look like she normally did... apart from the weight loss, of course.

"Frontis Allevatus." Simple enough. "Frontis Allevatus. Fron-tiss Al-eh-vay-tuss. Frontis Allevatus."

The incantation rolled of her tongue fairly smoothly, so she gave her wand a quick swish- that was enough practice, yeah?- and then glanced around.

"Anyone need a facelift?"

Sander looked up when he heard someone ask whether they needed a facelift. Sander raise his hand automatically before realizing that he had done so. He sheepishly lowered his hand before walking over to the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain.

"I sure could use one. Maybe we can help each other," Sander offered his help trying not to mention that she looked pretty good.

....but wait he knew his memory was bad, but he could have sworn that she had looked old recently. Sander wondered whether she had been applying the Wrinkle heal potion on herself. He hated to admit it but he hoped that the effects of the potion would wear of anytime soon. He sure needed someone to try casting the spell on.

Since she hadn't been facing the Hufflepuff before, Alice hadn't noticed the hand raising. She did, however, see him when he walked up to her. Wasn't blind like the rest of the population of Hogwarts, after all... yet.

"Sander, right?" She'd seen him working with Tessa a lot during classes, and anyone who worked with people on her team had to be decent company. Plus he'd agreed with her in that one seminar, which gave him extra brownie points in her eyes. "I'm Alice. Don't think I need any casting on my face, but I'd be happy to work on yours." Grin.

Plus she wouldn't really trust spell casting on her FACE to anyone who she didn't know... but she didn't mind the other way around.

"That okay?"

Sander was disappointed that he wouldn't be able to try the spell on her but he was still willing to be her guinea pig. So he nodded, "Hey Alice. Yep I'm Sander. Sure no problem. Cast away," Sander leaned down to give her better access to his face.

He didn't doubt that she would be successful in casting the spell....and if he had doubts he wasn't going to tell her. Nope. She was a smart one. She'd do fine.

"Swish and Face-Lift" heh. heh. heh. Clever.

The Hufflepuff straightened up her posture (because she actually could, sorry other people) and took a deep breath.

"Front-tist-" No, no. There's no 'T' there. "Fron-tisssss" Now you sound like a freaking snake, Awar. "Fron-tiss-aaal-eeh-vay-us, Fron-tiss-al-eh-vay-us." Boom. "Frontis Allevatus." Pffft. Got this in the baaag.

Normally Beverly wouldn't appreciate anyone messing with her face 'cause...well, it's her face. BUT...the girl that had approached her was smiling and anyone who knew the Slytherin well also knew she was a sucker for smiles. From anyone, any being.

Soooo, she couldn't quite say no.

And she had a nice name. Lux. Luuuuuuux. Cool it, Wayne!

"I'm Beverly," she said, missing her usual shy tone. It was more like an "I am so old and tired" tone. She leaned back on her seat. "Go for it. Just don't make me look like a balloon, yeah?"

An old woman-looking teen with a balloon for a face? Yeah, no thanks.

Good sport, this one was. Alice grinned at him again. "I'll try not to botch your face up." And if she did... well, she hoped he didn't have a girlfriend.

Wand at the ready, she mouthed the incantation another time, performing the movement without the sound. Frontis Allevatus. Fron-tiss Al-eh-vay-tuss. Simple, right? Human test subjects weren't intimidating. "Frontis Allevatus!"

The seventh year swished her wand, focusing her range and intent all on the area surrounding the left side of his mouth. Either Sander had been smiling too much, or he had a serious case of old person-itis going on there. Fortunately, some of the wrinkles seemed to lift up and smooth out.

She examined the spot again before piping up once more. "Other side of your mouth needs a doing too."

Awesome, the girl was agreeing to be her guinea pig attempt the spell on her. Hopefully things would not mess up, since they had gone so well when she had practiced with Sander. "Nice to meet you, Beverly. I won't make you look anything except wrinkle free on your forehead!" Wasn't that wonderful?

Swishing her wand at Beverly's forehead, she said, "Frontis Allevatus," And her forehead became smooth again. "Tada! And you don't look like a balloon either!" That should make the other girl happy.

Sander looked at himself in the mirror and nodded in approval. "Not bad. Not bad at all. " Sander grinned down at Alice.

"Does it? Hmmm...I do want to leave some for Tessa to work on too," Sander looked over at his girlfriend who was still practicing her spell. "Maybe you can work on my crows-feet. I managed to smooth out the right side. If you want you can work on the left side," Sander turned and pointed out the area to her.

....yes work there and mind the eyes.

As he waited patiently for Alice to work on his wrinkles, Sander looked around the classroom. Surely, there must be someone he could practice casting the wrinkle removing spell on?

Sander decided to announce that he needed a partner, "Is there anyone who will allow me to try my spell on them?" he called out.

He hoped there was....

A facelift spell. Just what they all needed.

.. Not her, of course. Delilah pretty much had no wrinkles on her face.. well, maybe a couple of them but they weren't really noticeable. But, she was glad they were leaning this spell because at the way things were going, it might come in handy soon.

She jotted down the incantation on her parchment before she decided to get the pronounciation of the spell right. "Frontis Allevatus. Frontis Allevatus. Frontis Allevatus." She said it aloud a few more times. Yeah.. she was done.

Time to practice the spell nooooow.

The only amusement Theo was getting out of this class was the mysterious Ravenclaw girl's comment, because he agreed with it. He hadn't even seen her enter the classroom. So mysterious, gosh.

Anyway, back to the boring and useless charm.

Using it too many times would change your face into a balloon? Err, why was he teaching them this? Theo knew he would NEVER be using it on himself. Frontis Allevatus. He said it a few times over in his head, then looked around class for a victim partner to practice on, but there was so much choice, so he wasn't too worried about being partnerless. Time for some super practicing of the incantation first, since it was a mouthful, as usual.

Fron-tiss. Easy enough. Al-ey-vay-tuss. Ehhh... Frontiss Al-ey-vay-tuss.

"Frontis... Alley-vatuss..." How is it possible for the break down of the word to look more confusing than the actual word? Theo frowned at himself, then just looked at the full incantation on the board. "Frontis Allevatus. Frontis... Allevatus." What was the wand movement again? Just a flick? Oh, good.

That'd do.

Now to look for a wrinkly partner?????

Delilah needed a test subject. Because she was hardly willing to try the spell on her own face, you know? That was scary.. and more than a little weird.

The blonde looked around the class for a bit and spotted a familiar face who seemed to be looking for a partner too? "Theooooo, here." She waved at him and smiiiiiled.

... Honestly, she wasn't sure if she wanted someone she hardly knew to basically throw a spell at her pretty face. Like, what if he messed it up? What if her face turned into a balloon?
