The Black Lake lies behind the castle and though it may seem like the water is calm on the surface, you will learn that that is not the case underwater. Creatures have made it their home from Merpeople to Grindylows. The most notable is Bartholomew Henry, the Giant Squid. The lake is a beautiful place for you to hang out.
Mr.Kirby has built a dock and has supplied it with some fishing rods. The lures have been charmed to prevent any magical creatures of the lake from getting hooked. The Groundskeeper will not tolerate any use of live bait, and is running a strict CATCH and RELEASE policy. Failure to follow these two rules will result in serious consequences.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
He scowled at the young Slytherin kid who lied to make him leave his hut..."There is a difference between 'maybe dead' and 'Dead' I suggest you learn this quick kid."He turned his attention back to the young boy and listened to the Prefect Girl. "What's a Gus...no never mind that." He took a look at the Hufflepuff, poor sod should drink more milk. Stronger bones make a stronger man. I'll be the judge of that. He said next slightly irritated with how much such a mean woman could be needed. He took a long look at the leg. "Oh! I've caused those all the time! He just dislocated it, nothing I can't pop back into place."
The Massive Man slowly began to bend down to get a better angle. "Hold him steady and lower him a tad so he'll be a bit more comfortable once I get this leg back..." *POP CRACK!*..."My BACK!!! Merlin's sweet Honey Pot!" The Groundskeeper thudded down to his knees and toppled forward. The Yellow a hulk has been defeated...the kids hopefully had moved out of his way to avoid being knocked over, or crushed. He quickly caught himself with his one arm and clutched his side tight in his other. "OOOOHHH OOOOOWWWW I knew I shouldn't have left!" Pain, so much pain was killing him!! Have these kids ever seen a Grown Man Cry?
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
Wow, that was some quick timing right there. "Nice." Lex said, nodding some serious approval at the time it'd taken the girl to get the Groundskeeper here. Now that he was here, she could see he was a bit put off about possibly being lied to but that wasn't the big issue here and it was easily overlooked. Angry/annoyed tones and grumpy grown ups didn't bother Lex. She was much too used to it being her fault and long ago learned how to make it not matter to her.
The big thing right now was Adi....who'd passed out again. If it weren't for the Grounds Keeper being right there she would have cast another aguamenti. This was ridiculous--
Scratch that, the crack then Kirby's screams was ridiculous.
Like seriously???? She was so over this. T________T
"Not you TOO!!" jkfdbgwsd She couldn't CARRY HIM TOO!!! He was a giant frickin' wall of muscle...fat...flabby muscle, what did he take them for?? Cracking his back like that. Did they look like the bloody hospital wing assistants you saw when you visited St. Mungo's??? The Gryffindor was most put off by this, jutting her jaw and giving the man an unimpressed look. There was no room for sympathy right now, she had a puffer passed out on her and their ONLY hope was now...sweet Merlin..."Are you crying Kirby?" He said they could call him that, she had a signed paper towel to prov--...no she didn't...no...he never signed.
Well this was just GREAT. "No way we're gonna be able to carry them BOTH to the Hospital Wing and I'm not about to throw out my back trying." Just putting that out there. "Someone needs to get the Healer and in the mean time, Ella, you know anything that could help?" When in need of medical help and no Healer, ask the Head Girl. Seemed legit.

Bradley was glad that the healers had been invited back to Hogwarts to investigate more. Especially since most of the samples really hadn't given too much about how this disease had started. It was easy to say that Brad was quite stumped and he had a feeling the others were feeling the same. At least being back this time he had full reign to explore the castle. Maybe it was something in the food or on the grounds or in the lake.
Which was why he was out this way right now. He had noticed the gathering of students but originally thought nothing of it. So he started to collect some samples of the lake water. Brad had been bent down collecting samples from the lake when he heard someone screaming in pain.
His healer instincts automatically kicked in and he stopped what he was doing. Brad quickly capped the sample and placed it in his bag before heading over to the direction of the pain. He made his way through the group of students. "Excuse me. I'm a healer with the ministry please let me through."
Brad reached the man who was clutching onto his side and then he recognized the little old person with the injured leg. Well, the little old person definitely explained why there was a big group of students out there. First he turned to the gentle man, after pulling a potion out of his bag. He handed it to the bigger man (Kirby). "Here. Take this. It will help with the pain while I tend to this young man's leg." Young being a bit of an understatement here.
Brad then bent down and kneeled next to the boy (Adi) and gave him a smile. "I'm Brad and I'm a healer with the ministry. Remember me?" He felt kind of awful for not remembering the kid's name, but he wasn't even sure he got one last time. "Is it all right if I take a look at your leg?"
Beverly shrugged. She was a kid, okay, just let it go Big Man. WAIT. What did he just say? He...he caused those? Like, did he throw people across a pitch? Bev didn't doubt he could do that. He...was big.
HOLY CHINESE FIREBALLS!
Pop his bone back in? The Hufflepuff was definitely bound to croak from this. Beverly cringed away. Big Man was going to pop that bone back in and...GAG.
"It's a curse!" Beverly whimpered. First the boy, now the groundskeeper.
Said groundskeeper was tumbling down. Bev stepped away, fearing she'd be squashed like a grape. She was old and frailly. Her bones could snap with just one smack of the Big Man's arms. This was bad, really bad. What if they called on more people and they broke a bone--or whatever? They'd have a pile of broken people. WHAA.
There was NO WAY she was moving. Bev was perfectly okay with standing still and not provoking whatever bad aura surrounded the lake. The Gryffindor Prefect could go and find help if she wanted. It wasn't necessary, though. A stranger approached them! The Don't-talk-to-strangers thing Kennedy had warned her about didn't apply here.
HEY STRANGER, HELP.
Apparently that's what he was doing AND he was a healer. How lucky was THAT? Bev rounded the groundskeeper and patted his arm in a there-there-comforting kind of style.
Hopefully this curse wouldn't get the nice-stranger-healer-man... Well, better him than her, right? Right.
my gosh! Jay/Kirby, you guys are so funny xD for all you lovely people ^__^
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Adi was still passed out and was totally unable to hear anything that was going on around him. But it wasn't until the loud shout about Merlin's Honey Pot that he became aware the was drama around him. Eyes still closed, he was able to figure out that the Giant had joined them and something seemed to be going on with him as well. The man sounded like he was in pain. O_o
Adi was aware of someone joining them when the slightly familiar voice spoke to him. He opened his eyes slowly and looked at the man. Yes. He remembered him. Some one from the Staff Room, right? The Puffer nodded and closed his eyes again. So much paaaaaain!

Cassia made a mental note that Beverly was good in taking orders. Since she told him that, there was a dead boy and it seemed like she was convincing. You never know when such a skill is needed down in the dungeons.
Anyway, back to the situation, the sixth-year allowed herself to be relived hearing that all-might mister Kirby didn't seem to find it a serious and dangerous thing. So, HE could fix it and they wouldn't have to worry.
Who was she kidding. This wasn't ending here and now. Too good to be true it seemed. What where the odds that the groundskeeper himself would fall and crack whatever bone in his body that caused that sound.
Fortunately, the snake managed to move in time in order to not become a carpet flattened by the big guy. And good thing she pulled Adi with her. The poor kid didn't need yet another injury to suffer from.
"Oh, this is very bad," Was all she could manage. Blinking, she looked at Lex with a blank expression. Yes, they definitely couldn't carry them both. She looked up to Ella to see if the head girl had an idea that could save the day.
But it seemed their luck flipped again. Did that man say he was from the ministry? Cassia allowed herself a shred of hope. He had a potion! YAY! Slowly, she inched away from Adi to allow the healer to have a better look at Adi's leg. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad, after all. But she wasn't going to jinx it just yet.

Kace could tell Melek didn't want to talk about the dating stuff and he didn't either. It made her feel uncomfortable, so he smirked as he was throwing when she changed course of the conversation. "Yeah it is nice out. I love this weather.." he replied skipping another rock.
Then he heard her change her tone when he mentioned skateboarding. "Yeah i do skateboard..." he trailed off and looked at her. "Alright i will take you on your offer. We will do it sometime, when i have it with me that is..." he grinned. He realized his skateboard was back in his dorm. "My skateboard is back in my dorm. But don't worry i won't let you fall on my watch." he promised her.
Oh? So she never heard what those sports are. He forgot sometimes there was a barrier her. "Oh..well Jet Skis are like bikes you can use but in the water. You can go really fast but you gotta watch out for huge waves." he nodded. "I made that mistake in my first try but it didn't stop me from doing it again.." he said pointing to his scar on his arm. "But baseball is a sport you play with a bat and ball and run on the bases and football is when you hold a ball and tackle people and basketball you just shoot a ball in the hoop." he said giving her spark notes for each sport. "But i can teach you how to throw rocks come here..." he said and waving his arm for her to come over.
"Now all you gotta do is find the flattest rock and angle it down and skip it into the water.." he said. "Like so.." he demonstrated and it skipped five times. Then he noticed she went back down to lie on the grass and he did too. He went back with her and laid down. He heard her comment and he had to think about it. "Hmm which side do you want to see?" he asked her.
Melek looked at him and shrugged. "I rather have Turkish weather but this is nice... but in Turkey, we have warmer weather than this so this feels a little cold." Mel giggled and smiled, "But it is better than that terrible weather in winter." She sighed and looked at him a little then up at the clouds floating by.
She smiled and looked at him, "Wont let me fall? Thats sweet of you..." Mel nodded a little, "Okay, so you do kinda have me wanting to try it out now." Melek giggled, "I dont know what it is about you, but you make me want to try all these new sports that you talk about... I am sorted suppose to be a girly girl... since that is what 'proper ladies' are." She even did the air quotes. "I am their only child and it is dreadful to get dirty... so I never been able to play sports... but I was on the quidditch team this year but my parents caught word of it somehow and so I had to tell Mo that I couldnt be on it anymore so I am not on the team anymore..." Melek took a deep breath from all of that talking and blushed in embarrassment, quietly adding, "Gosh, you are so easy to talk to..." She glanced down at her feet.
She glanced at him, "Bikes on water?" An eyebrow raised as she looked at him like he was a freak. "Watch out for big waves though?" Melek gave a slight nod and sighed, still not understanding it. "Why would one want to play baseball? What fun is it to just run around bases?" Mel made a face and looked at him. "Football seems to be a rough sport." Her nose wrinkled. "Basketball sounds so simple that a caveman could do it." She sighed and looked down at her feet. Her head automatically jerked up at what he said next. Melek got up and went over to him as he waved her over.
Mel watched him demonstrate and tried it herself. It just plopped and she shrugged it off. "Maybe later..." It didnt catch her interest at the moment. Melek went back to her spot and plopped down on the grass again. She stretched her legs out and put her arms behind her head. Mel turned her head slightly to watch him laid down beside her. Melek shrugged, "I dont know..."

Bart shuffled his feet down towards the lake. Now that it was nicer again he was back to his plans. Though the walk from the castle exhausted him so he wasn't sure how much of his plan was going to happen. He wanted to find the squid, he had to ask him if he was named after him like Addi said. Would his mother really name him after a squid. A SQUID!! Honestly she wasn't that mental was she? No he was named after someone on his fathers side.
O_O
Was it his dad that named him after a bloody squid? Merlin this was just annoying and he had to make sure the squid was cool, because if he wasn't. Well he didn't know what he'd do, but he'd make sure no one knew his name was Bartholomew ever again. It would be Bart forever...
Sitting down at the edge of the lake he took some deep breaths, wow that was a super long walk. When did the castle get up and move so far? He would rest here before possibly getting in the water to find the squid, though it would be nice if he would just come to Bart. "SQUID... HERE SQUID.. BARTHOLOMEW WHERE ARE YOU?"

Bartholomew Henry had been enjoying the water, yes he was. He was having a swimmingly good time before noticing a slide tremor towards the surface. My, my, my.. all this yelling.. Yes, I hear you child. Normally this would detract the squid who was more interested in relaxing now a days. But today was different..
The water was still calm though as was his patience, so perhaps a little sight and seeing would satisfy the distress sounding boy. So surface the Squid did, far enough to keep his fresh tentacles away from the earth, but close enough to rest his eyes on the boy.
"Mr. Bartholomew Henry is right here.." Here and now waiting to see and hear what the boy wanted.

As he sat Bart looked out at the lake why was he even bothering the squid probably wasn't even there. He was even starting to think that Addi lied to him and the squid's name wasn't even Bartholomew. He picked up a stone and tossed it into the water. Thinking about whether he should try to go swimming or not he really didn't want to take off his slippers and Toad would probably try to make a hop for it.
So maybe he would just sit a little while longer and head back to the castle. That's when he saw something. What was in the water. He watched with interest and then it was right in front of him. Talking to him, it was the squid!! He was here, he heard Bart! His name was Bartholomew, this was awesome.

Since it was another nice and warm spring day, Lux found herself wandering along the grounds again. She wanted to head over to the lake and walk along the shore. Even though she promised not to go swimming there, having her feet in the water was okay. Not as if anything could pull her down.
As she approached the water, the girl smiled when she spotted her friend, Bart. Waving to him, she was sure he did not see her but it was okay. And now he was shouting for the Giant Squid to come and see him.
O_O
Sweet Circe, it had actually worked.
Lux's jaw dropped and remained so as the Squid started talking to her friend. This was amazing, what she had wanted to do for most of the Term. She finally was seeing the Squid. And apparently his name was Bartholomew Henry.
Smiling, she waved at the Squid also. "Hello, Mr. Bartholomew Henry." Hopefully he was friendly.

Bartholomew the Squid had cocked his head slightly at Bartholomew the boy before him, intrigued at the first words. "Is it? How wonderful it is to meet another then!" It was to this Giant Squid. He was proud and loved his name. Yes, he did.
His eyes moved slightly as another girl came towards them. This Squid wasn't one to ignore another student. "Greetings.." Raising his sleek tentacle to wave at the girl, effectively sending a nice jet of water on the both of them. Whoopsie.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

It certainly did not feel like he had crushed anyone under his weight which was a good sign. The Kids moved fast for all looking so old themselves. The he heard Alexa say something he wished he could have hid a little better. "N-no. I'm not cryin...it's just Rainin...on my face...Erm...Oh Ow...The Lake Water splashed up on me." Good Save Kirby.
AH YES, ANOTHER SAVIOR, Someone mover Savory...Savior-y than him! "Thank you." The Groundskeeper spoke up weakly to the man who handed him a Potion. He Sat up onto his knees slowly and uncorked the vial. Downing it. He liked this Healer, can he come work here?
No? So...he wasn't catching what she was throwing out there? Okay, then. Ella wasn't going to push the subject because really, she didn't want Tobias to feel any worse than he already did. She wanted him to be happy because he deserved it. Deserved it even more than most people, according to the Head Girl.
The silence was a bit worrisome though. They'd never had quite this long of a lull in conversation before and the eighteen year old couldn't help but wonder what was wrong. Because calling attention to this fact would probably just make things weirder, Ella instead sat in silence and watched her reflection in the water. No wrinkles today which was good. Maybe things'll get better. Ella glanced over at the younger badger and could tell that this statement was somewhat forced which made her a bit sad. Hoping her face didn't reflect that emotion, she nodded her head in agreement. "Maybe. I'm sure people are working on it as we speak." Her own tone reflected confidence that she wasn't quite feeling deep down but she felt the need to reassure Toby that things were in motion that would help them out of this mess. She couldn't stomach his hope being squashed when he was normal a little ball of sunshine.
It seemed the person's cry had caught Tobias' attention too and while he looked for the source of the sound, Ella was making her way into a standing position. It was painful to get up but she needed to be sure no one was in serious danger. The lack of splashing in the water told her that no one was drowning unless they went under the water at this point and so she decided someone must have fallen on the ground. "I think we should check it out." Because she sort of had an obligation, being Head Girl and all. Plus she cared about people and the thought of someone seriously injured was a little hard to take.
"Come on, let's go investigate." And she held a hand out to the younger boy , waiting until he was up and ready before she headed towards the small crowd of people she'd spotted a ways away.
...
Adi.
It was Adi and Ella was not pleased to see that the person in so much pain was one of her little puffs. At least Lex and Cassia were there. Comforting, that was. They also seemed to have a plan in motion and so Ella merely stood off to the side, eyes on the Hufflepuff. "You scared us, kiddo. We heard you from a mile away." Green eyes then landed on her fellow student leaders. "Can we do anything to help?"
So Ella had decided it was best to go and investigate, which didn't surprise Tobias in the slightest. Ella was, after all, the kindest and most caring person that Toby knew. He began to push himself to his feet too, eventually taking hold of the hand the Head Girl offered him and carefully hoisting himself up. When he was steady and on his feet and unable to refrain from noticing that he now matched Ella exactly in height, Tobias followed Ella off to that big crowd of people, shuffling as fast as he could go without breaking a hip or something.
Oh.
Erm.
Well, this wasn't a very fun scene at all. Toby didn't know how, or if, he could help in this situation. There were already prefects and Ella and... ooh, was that the groundskee-... oh no, wait, he was incapacitated too. Tobias didn't want to get in the way, but he wasn't really one to just leave. What if they DID need his help? There seemed to be... a lot of pain around herE?
Having stopped a step or two behind Ella, Tobias stayed there now, looking around to everyone with authority, including that new man. "D'you need me to do anything?" he piped up, directing his question mainly to Ella, though it was pretty much open to anyone.

His eyes moved slightly as another girl came towards them. This Squid wasn't one to ignore another student. "Greetings.." Raising his sleek tentacle to wave at the girl, effectively sending a nice jet of water on the both of them. Whoopsie.
This thing talked funny, not really a sign that it was cool. "Wonderful? So you like the name Bartholomew?" Clearly he needed to know the reason, because that was just odd. Bart moved a little closer to the water, closer to the squid. Would he ink? Bart hoped not, because he didn't really want to see that or be in the line of fire if the thing could shoot it at him.
"So you just chill around here all day then? Don't you get bored?" He looked out at the lake, nah no way would the squid be bored with whatever lived in there. "Every have something try to eat you?" It was a valid question wasn't it?
Turning his head when he heard someone a smiled formed on his face. "Of course it worked. I knew what I was talking about." Of course he did and if only Culloden could seem him. See he didn't need to talk to that lame Creatures guy after all. "I was just trying to see why he had the same name as me." and if he was cool, because if he wasn't there was going to be some issues.

This was so cool. Lux could hardly believe that the Giant Squid actually talked to her. Beaming, she even ignored the water he sent her and Bart's way.
Thumbs up to her friend for actually managing to do this. He had skills. And now Lux knew how to get him to the surface. "You are awesome, Bart."
Listening to the interesting questions, she hoped that Bartholemew Henry wouldn't mind her asking him some of her own. "How long have you lived in the lake? And do you know merpeople? And if so, are they nice?"
Bradley nodded at the big man's (Kirby) thanks. "You're welcome." He was just doing his job, but the thanks were always nice.
Now he turned his attention back to the little old person (Adi). Brad smiled and leaned closer to inspect that boy's leg. It had definitely been popped out of place. No wonder the poor little old person seemed to be passing out from the pain. At least he was still conscious. Brad dug around in his bag to pull out another pain potion. He offered it to the boy. "Here. This will get rid of the pain so that I can pop it back into place." Because there was no way he was moving him until it was back.
Bradley then turned around and looked at the group of students. "Did anyone see how this happened?" He was curious with so many faces gathered around.

"FOUND HIM!"
Benny had been lost in his own world as he focused not on his injured friend whom he couldn't really help to finding Adi's toad Gus. Alexa had mentioned it would at least put the Hufflepuff at ease that his pet wasn't gone or hurt itself. The Gryffindor had turned only to hear another loud yell and rushed back towards the group thinking it was his fellow second year. But this time it was the groundskeeper that was supposedly retrieved to assist Adi clearly hurt himself.
Great....just great.
Thankfully another adult showed up, someone Adi seemed to be familiar with even a little but whom was a complete stranger to Ben. He might have been suspecious had he not already moved to help Kirby and been successful, sighing in relief as his bestie seemed to be finally getting some real attention. A question had been raised and Ben almost missed it as Gus the toad tried to jump away again. When he was settled, the Gryffindor finally responded since no one else was.
"He fell after tripping the ground. The next thing I knew he was screaming in pain." That was true enough from what he saw.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Potion? This will help with the pain the man said? This was fine by him. Right now, Adi didn't care if it tasted horrible. He reached out and took the potion and carefully gulped it down. He did come up coughing though. The potion had a bit of a bitter taste. Bleh!
But on the positive side, the pain was gone! Adi looked down at his leg in surprise. A second ago, there had been nothing but pain and now...pure and utter relief. Bradley mostly the Puffer told the Healer dude.
Now came the...popping into place. That sounded painful but thankfully the potion would help.

Brad looked up to the voice answering his question. He gave the toad holding young boy a smile. He tried not to make a face because the man never understood having toads as pets. They were disgusting in his opinion, but now was not the time for that. "Thanks." He said to the boy before turning back to the one lying on the ground.
Brad figured the pain potion should have kicked in by now. "All right. I'm going to fix it now. I need you to take a deep breath." He positioned his hands so that he could fix. "I'm going to pop it back in on three, okay?" He waited a moment for his words to sink in. "One, two-" Brad moved his hands and POP! went the joint back into place.
"There that looks better. But we should still probably get you to the hospital wing." Because of course the school had to have one. It was a school after all . He looked back up at toad boy (Ben). "Do you think you could take me there? I don't need to be getting lost."

Benny made a face as Adi coughed up the potion. Was everything alright or was it gonna get worse like before? The whole suddenly two patients instead of one issue. But thankfully when his friend spoke he definitely seemed to have been calmer at least, telling the man he was feeling better and the Gryffindor was relieved at the news. "I found Gus, Adi" he told him making sure the toad was visible to the Hufflepuff, managing a smile when the healer sent one to him.
Of course the bone resetting was enough to make anyone wince, yet the second year tried his best not to react too much. Showing support for his bestie...yep...that's what he was doing. Even if his insides were being all meh at the sight of it. Ben certainly was glad it wasn't happening to him. With or without the potion to help him deal with all the pain and discomfort. Then the attention of the helping man was turned back to him, asking HIM for help.
"Yeah...I mean of course...sir," he remarked with a nod, adding the last address since he didn't know what else to call him. "Stay..." he told the toad firmly before placing the creature securely in his robe pocket, then turning to lead them back off to the castle. Hopefully his moving slow wouldn't be minded while they no doubt had to cautiously move Adi.
Bone popping. Beverly covered her ears, not willing to risk some sickening noise engrave into her head. Brows pulled together and nose scrunched up, she watched as Healer-man went to work.
Annnd there it goes. It wasn't as much of a show since the man had given the Hufflepuff a potion most likely for pain. Uncovering her ears, she shrugged her shoulders. Welp. Show over and nap time now.
"Good luck, Hufflepuff," she said, passing the boy. He owed her. Sort of. Though the groundskeeper had keeled over, but she'd brought him over and the Healer-man had most likely spotted them due to the size of the guy. That was her conclusion. She hoped Hufflepuff remembered that.

Adi squeezed his eyes shut and braced for the pain of popping a joint back into place, completely forgetting that he had taken the Pain Potion. Instead, all he felt was a little pinch and heard the sickening sound the bone made. Ugh! He never wanted to hear that sound again. Cautiously, he opened his eyes and looked down at his foot and brightened instantly. It looked normal. "Thank you, Mister!'' Adi said gratefully. Yes, he should probably get to the Hospital Wing as a precautionary.
And to make this better, Gus had been found! Yay! That was joy and relief for the Puffer. "Thanks, Benny,'' he told his friend. Gus could stay with the other boy for the while. Right now he just wanted to make sure his leg wouldn't go bonkers on him again. He set off after Benny, moving gingerly on his feet. That's when the suspected Poker called out to him. Adi grinned at her. "Thanks, Slytherin,'' he called back. He was unsure if it was her that had gotten the Groundskeeper but he would find out.

There were way too many things happening at once. Most importantly, Adi wasn't dying. That calmed Sophie down a little so she could think a little more rationally now. A Ministry healer had been called (Where had he come from anyway?), and Adi's toad had been found. Things were starting to look okay...
...until the healer decided he was going to pop Adi's bone back into place. *GULP* That sounded painful on way too many levels. Sophie opened her mouth to ask if maybe THAT might kill Adi, but it was too late. There was a sickening popping sound, and then Adi was---...
...healed. Sophie took a few deep breaths to try and get herself to breath normally again. She smiled when Adi seemed alive and well. "Feeling better now?" she asked him.

No, no, no! Water was actually cascading onto his face! Adi's eyes jerked open and he instantly began spluttering and coughing heavily. Ugggggh! He shielded his face and managed shouted to whoever it was, "Stop that!'' Water in his face combined with the intense pain put him in an even more bad mood.
And who was poking him and asking if he was breathing? Of course he was breathing! Were these people just going to stand here and let him wither in pain? Adi tried to sit up. Looks like he'd have to help himself. But sitting up was a bad idea.
"OWOWOWOW!'' he said through gritted teeth.

She wasn't even sure she'd make it through the summer. She tried not to think about that, though, and tried to remember that Caleb had reminded her they were working on a cure.
So this is how she ended up at the lake. She had been daydreaming about all that and had just wondered out onto the grounds and was absentmindedly making the rounds. Despite the way she felt like she was three steps away from the grave, the walk had been peaceful. Peaceful, that is, until she heard someone yelling out in agony.
Alarmed, she hurried over to the scene as fast as her body would allow her to. That is, to say, it took a good five minutes. She peeked through the croed. "Adi!" she said, her youthful voice not matching her aged body.

But then Adi was more his priority at the moment to be all honest and he was glad he wasn't alone in it. The Gryffindor was completely out of his mind with worry and didn't know what to do. He nodded this time as the prefect spoke up in answer to his asking for help.
No touching...got it.
Though technically that was relatively a moot point concerning him given Adi had collapsed into him. Oh well. No MORE touching. Benny didn't want to cause any more harm to his bestie as Alexa briefly mentioned they could risk if they did touch him. "It has to be broken...it doesn't look right." Granted he wasn't an expert but was the Hufflepuff's limb supposed to be like that if it wasn't broken?
He was interrupted as small splatters of water reached him due to his proximity to Adi when the older girl dosed him with water in an attempt to wake up the fainted boy. Would it work? One could only wait to see and while they did, Ben really wanted to teach the younger Slytherin how to be nicer. "STOP poking him!" he exclaimed making a face. "And yes he is brea--."
Adi's yell broke through bringing him up short and silencing him as he turned his full attention back to the Hufflepuff. His hold loose on his friend but there as he moved to try and sit up. Ben in turn winching in pain as the other boy screamed again with him much closer than before.
"Um...how...how do we help if we can't touch?"
Oh look...there was the girlfriend.
Despair no longer! A Ministry Healer had arrived to help! After making quick work of conjuring a stretcher, the injured student is now ready for transport. Perhaps now you should move the student to the Hospital Wing? Surely suffering resting there would be more comfortable than out here on the grounds?
