Christmas smiled and said "Well for fun i like to practice my qudditch skills on the qudditch practice pitch cause well i need to be on fine form if i am going to try and make the team this year also another fun thing to do is play gobstones which is fun i have not played much myself but it is fun"

Not even the cauldron cakes and the pumpkin pasties were helping his mood any. Michael shoved the rest of his purchases into his pocket. He would eat them later. Maybe they might even cheer him up some.
He decided on sitting at the back of the train for this ride. Mainly to hide from Zahra,not that that would be hard since his BFF was doing her darndest to avoid him, but just in case she decided to change her mind, he was going to make it hard for her.
Most of the compartments contained giggling girls and right now that was the last thing he needed, so spotting a compartment with an older guy sitting by himself, Michael opened the door and slipped quietly inside.
He dropped his food onto the seat before parking him bum. He looked over to the older guy and nodded his head. "Hey."
Too bad if the guy wanted to be on his own.
Just as Ascanius was about to fall asleep, he heard the compartment door slide open and some kid fumbled in and dropped his food and himself into the opposite seat of the sixth year. Uh, hello. Was this kid blind or something? Obviously he was in this compartment to be alone, not disturbed by Willy Wonka and his entire chocolate factory.
He pulled his feet off of the seat and raised his eyebrow curiously at the kid. Almost silently probing him. Or, y'know, seeing if he would leave.
Having a feeling neither would work, he spat out, "Hello." Now get out.

Astrid did let Peewee go around the compartment for a while because he'd been perched on her shoulder for quite a while. Plus, the little guy needed space of his own too. Other than that, Astrid sort of just sat there and stuff. She didn't forget to feed Peewee a bit of her chocolate frog. It was apparently Peewee's favourite food? She learned about it this summer when the little dude ATE the chocolate frog she left on her desk. Sneaky creature.
She also took a separate chocolate frog of her own and ate it, because obviously this train ride would take a while. She also heard that the students weren't allowed to eat until the Headmistress lady said her speech so it was best to fill up her stomach for now.
And... someone outside the compartment. OH, I KNOW YOU. "Delilah! Oh, I don't mind at all," she said. There was loads of space, see? "Do you want a chocolate frog?" she offered.
Oh, GREAT. Astrid didn't mind! Thank goodness. Delilah beamed and entered the compartment with a sigh of relief. Finally. She deposited her luggage on the top bunk before she took a seat next to the window, opposite Astrid. She set Lola on the seat next to her and stretched her arms a little. She was more than a little exhausted.
OH! Chocolate Frog, her favourite! "Yes, please." She accepted one and nibbled on it, staring out the window for a little while. Just a few more hours to go and then.. Hogwarts!
"So.." Delilah smiled, turning towards the brunette. "Are you..." Her blue eyes suddenly noticed Peewee wandering about on the compartment floor. "Hey there, cutie-pie!" She picked Peewee up and gently petted him for a little while. "So, yeah. Are you excited?" That was obviously for Astrid, but her blue eyes were still focused on the pygmy puff. He was just so adorable!

Plus, they were walking, unlike Jun who was running. Sitting inside, he grabbed a lollipop from his bag; one he took from Lottie the day he went to visit her. Sucking on said lollipop, he took off his cap and fixed his hair.
Maybe he'd dye his current blonde hair to another color when he gets to school. Maybe not.

She made her way down the train's corridor, peeping into compartments ever so often to be sure it was fine and no one was busy trying to escape the little buggers when she spotted someone bolting for a compartment near the end....

Uh-huh, because that was normal. Lex made a beeline for that compartment and threw the door open only to find a perfectly normal kid sitting inside. "Oh." Well that was disappointing. Good on him for not having been stung but yeah...dsappointing nonetheless. "You haven't happened to notice anything strange, have you?"

He rolled his eyes at her question. "You mean besides the Gryffindor prefect who almost cut my fingers off? No, not really," Because that was rude. But Jun could be rude too. Now he was curious as to why she was asking this anyway. "Why? Did someone lose their pet or something?" he asked as he went to put his cap back on and sit on the seat once again.

Lex was used to eye rolling, she got it fairly often especially when in the company of certain other people so when he did it it almost went unnoticed. It didn't help that the girl was somewhat oblivious by nature, not at all so she took a step by him and into the compartment without waiting for an invitation. Shame about that finger thing. "Prefect...?--Oh." Her eyes fell to her badge. She'd forgotten that Bellaire had made her put it on. So much for that.
The inside seemed normal enough and the boy was anything but giddy. "What were you doing at the door for me to nearly cut your finger off anyway?" She asked, now fixing him with a curious gaze.
At his question she shook her head. "Not exactly. Sophie came saying someone let loose some billywigs in the train. That's all good and dandy until someone else complains." Which in this case was Sophie but she supposed it was with good reasoning because...well...it wasn't like Cutty had them under control, he'd let them GO.
"I don't suspect you've seen any though, because you're clueless on the matter." And where were her non-existent manners? "Alexa Cambridge, Fifth Year Gryffindor." She said, sticking her hand out to him.
