Default Ancient Runes and History of Magic Joint Lesson 2



Once you head down the fifth floor corridor and enter the Ancient Runes classroom, you find everything appears to be what you've come to expect of this room - orderly rows of desks facing the professor's larger desk and the blackboard behind it. In addition to your Ancient Runes professor, however, you will find your History of Magic professor standing near the entrance to greet you as well as you file in for this joint lesson.

A message on the blackboard also greets you. The desks are already equipped with the name tag you filled out previously. Find your name, take a seat, and wait for class to begin.

Kace was listening very intently to when the professor spoke about the runes. When he explained it all out, it did make sense. He saw the runes he mentioned when he pointed with it with the red arrows. He scribbled down the notes he made and hopefully this will help him with the homework.

After he copied down the detailed notes, he looked up and realized the class had ended. He was sad because this lesson had been interesting. Time flies when you are learning new things huh? He packed up his notebook and quill and the professor asked if he had any questions and he didn't really have any for now.

He left the amulet behind and then before he left he told the professors, "Really cool combined lesson you guys put together. I really enjoyed it. I hope there will be more in the future." he smiled and then put the bag over his shoulder and was off to the common room to relax.

HUH.

Weak spots in the curse? Okay. Delilah literally had no clue.. or she didn't want to give it much thought at this point. She felt tired and stressed out and was kind of waiting for class to be over honestly. So she just doodled on her parchment absentmindedly. Yeeeah. She was already worried about passing her AR OWL. Seriously.

Oh. Botros was talking again. She listened, taking notes as she did. At least, they'd be helpful when studying for exams.. OWL's. Yes. She was stressing. BIG time.

..... THEY WERE DONE. YES! Delilah looked extremely relieved as she packed her bag and stood up. "Nice class, professors." She smiled at them both before she hurried out of the class, slinging the bag over her shoulder.

It was time for a nap.

Sander was surprised and a bit disappointed that they wouldn't be learning how to make rune wards for themselves but at the same time was also glad that class was over. He was already feeling tired.

He left the amulet on the table before packing up his things. Once they were all shoved into his backpack, he made his way to the door where both Professors were standing.

"Thank you, Professors for yet another interesting lesson. Professor Botros will we get a chance to learn how to make a rune ward? It would definitely be something useful to have around," Sander asked the Ancient Runes Professor.

That had been more than interesting and Cutty's little snake-o brains were buzzing. The things about Ehwaz and magic not being able to reproduce actual love and curses being casted using just runes. Professor Botros's classes made the boy so pleased and McCormack was on a good streak too. He wondered what the homework would be, in the meantime though he assigned himself plenty to study. He rolled up his parchment notes and tucked them away like a scroll into his school bag then headed out.

Botros smiled and nodded at the students as they filed out of the class.

He chuckled at the Hufflepuff's boy, slapping his back playfully, "No, my dear boy, we won't do that. That's advanced. You need to major in Runes if you wish to know about that." And Botros would be proud if one of his students did that.

After everyone had gone out, Botros started cleaning the classroom to lock it on his way out.
