The term has begun, and with that begins the rat race to the House Cup! Do not fret little Lions, though the hourglasses may not be our best friend, while the rubies may seem insignificant beside the emeralds, sapphires and topaz', we have the fire and the passion to pull through the school year.

Remember to balance your time studying with extra curricular activities. Why not take up gobstones? Quidditch? Join a club? Dueling? Or just go and have fun! But before you do, make sure you congratulate the following students for being our top point earners to date:

So Gobstones may not be our 'thing', and we may be small in numbers. But here this my little Lions, we are a family... and family look out for each other. Can you feel it? Are you motivated to become the academic success you can be? Well if the EBWE Competition isn't getting you riled up, then the house points standing should be.

Remember to stay on top of your studies and try your hardest. Every second and every minute of your time that your apply to your studies will benefit your peers as well as your self. You have been identified for your courage and resourcefulness, in the face of adversity. Study, may in fact be one of them. Remember also, that we are a family, and that you can always depend on your peers, and your Head of House, to assist you in any way that we can. Lastly, don't forget to live. Living is learning, so long as you are experiencing all the school - and the world have to offer you, you will get through.
