Curly Wade was here! Ella grinned at him after her explanation and stood on her tippy toes, giving him a hair ruffle. "Hi Wade!" It was good to see him, did he know? Sadly she didn't think there were any pickles at this party though. She hoped he wouldn't be too upset about that fact.

Her attention was then caught by a familiar brunette and the blonde badger SQUEAKED and practically tackled her best friend. "Soph!" She was here! She was alive! She wasn't camping out in the library anymore! "Merlin, you're a hard person to find and I'm a badger. I'm glad you've finally decided to grace us with your presence." GRIN. She'd missed having her around and with them both being so busy, hangouts weren't happening nearly often enough.

And then the red head from the Quidditch team came in to inform Airey that West was hurt and Ella's brow furrowed, debating whether or not to go and try to help. She decided in the end that she'd only be in the way and besides, Professors were better at dealing with this stuff. "I hope he's okay," She said quietly to no one in particular. He would be okay, yeah? The kid was prone to head-butting people so he clearly had a hard noggin. He'd be fine.

... ... And a ginormous cupcake tower.

Someone should save one for the Slytherin captain, she'd decided.

Mischa stepped into the Observatory on the heels of Karina and Vilhelm. Broni was already there obviously. And so was the Beauxbatons boy from the Ravenclaw common room. Gaston was his name if the Durmstrang boy remembered right. Mischa would need to warn Karina about that one.

He reached forward and caught Karina's hand. He was probably looking for an excuse to hold her hand but whatever. "That Beauxbatons student,'' he told her nodding towards Gaston. "Be mindful ov him.'' Karina would be able to figure out what he meant. It was obvious the other boy was flirting with Broni. Maybe even the other females there too.

Just as he thought, the room was room was done up to accommodate Flamsteed's flamboyant personality. Mikey looked around for a few moments before spotting the food table and making his way over to it.

On his way there, a girl in front of him seemed to be talking to herself. He chuckled as he followed her and when they reached the table, he couldn't resist in saying something to her. "How come you're talking to your pockets?"

Speaking of, the blonde's green eyes widened considerably when the man fell over. "I...yeah. Then the Headmistress and Botros arrived and Ella gaves smiles to them both, Botros' a little bigger because she loved the guy. Who didn't, right? "Hello Headmistress, Professor!"

Student leader!keeper!blonde buddy had arrived too. As well as some younger girls that Ella recognized from classes. They all got smiles from Ells but it seemed she had become the Twister spokesperson so she shuffled a bit before speaking up.

"Erm...well Twister is quite fun, actually. You simply need to use this spinner." And the blonde walked over to the large spinner, reaching out to give it a spin. "Wherever it stops, that's what you'll need to do. For example, this says 'Right Hand' and is on a red background." Nodnod. "That means you'd need to put your right hand on one of the red circles. It continues on like that until all your limbs are...occupied." Was that the right word or? "Oh! And you take turns spinning, yeah? That way several people can play at once." Cue sheepish smile and a shrug.

Oh!! He had been wondering what that thing had been for. He had spun it a few times, to make sure it actually spun you know, and had expected a foot or a hand to appear on the designated color on the inflatable mat depending on where it landed on the spinner. He was rather disappointed when nothing of the sort had happened, by the way.

"Oh, well doesn't this sound like some stellar physical activity! Keep you all limber for the next quidditch matches and round of competition," Airey exclaimed with a twinkle in his eye. Airey wasn't nearly as bendy as he had been during his height of astronaut training, not since the accident, but yoga lessons with Medea were helping a little. Not enough to be able to keep up with the students, of course.

And since he was already up here...

And then he scurried out of the Observatory to see just what in the blazing comets was going on out there.

Oh. So he seemed to not like to let go of her hand either; this was good because now she could use the excuse of him taking her hand so she wouldn't have to explain anything. She smiled once again flirtatious, and turned her head over her shoulder before taking her hand delicately from his. She caught where his eye pointed and made a once over of the, admittedly attractive, Beauxbatons boy. "What are you talking about!" she said turning back towards Mischa. "You have nothing to worry about, I'm already -" she stopped herself, the last word taken dying on her lips and the laughter slipping from her eyes. Of course she was already taken. By Ström.

Ström, Ström, Ström! She was his girlfriend! It made no sense, was unacceptable, that when she was saying that she was "taken" she had Cha's face in her mind. Or maybe it was because she was just looking at Cha when she said it. That was it. She definitely considered Mischa her friend, but when she had said "taken", she had meant Ström and no one else.

And so, because Mischa was her friend, and because friends went to get drinks together, she invited him for a drink, taking his arm and tugging him towards where the punch was.

Adelaide shrugged at Flamsteed's question. "I dunno. He was lying on the ground when I got here myself."

She followed behind the professor to go make sure West was all right...when they stopped at cupcakes. Yes they looked lovely and she knew they probably tasted great too...but there was an unconscious student. Wasn't that a tad more important?

Addi followed him out the door, wanting to know what was going on.

Hi hello yes mhmm oh look, the foreigners were here. Annie's eyes narrowed a little but she did return the greetings of everyone who spoke to her. She then started casually moseying toward the food table (priorities, you know) when she was intercepted by a mobile cupcake tower.

Of course he had nothing to worry about. Karina would not let Gaston get to her. Why was he so concerned anyway? "It's because of Strom,'' he told himself. There was no other reason. Mischa knew he was lying to himself. "Taken,'' he finished the sentence. There was some bitterness in the way he spat out the word.

Mischa was still holding onto Karina's hand but he dropped it. He was suddenly feeling moody. He was thinking of leaving already. Strom would be there soon anyway. Who needed to see him and Karina get cozy?

But Karina did not seem to want him to leave. Mischa reluctantly allowed himself to be pulled towards the punch.

Even cooler now that more people were joining. It made Wade feel extra comfy seeing more on the way. His imaginary tiger ears perked up at the sound of Min calling him. Kitty. Making him head towards where she was. “Hey Min, how are you?” Min wasn't alone he noticed, as a girl from his former school and a boy from Beauxbatons were with her. Now he was being introduced.

Wade smiled at her. He recognized her from trying to help out the house elf during one of the tasks. “Hello, Broni.” Almost without realising, his usual English speaking shifted to full on Swedish. It had been a few years since he was last given the chance speak it. "It is nice to meet you too. So how are you liking Hogwarts so far?”


Wade smiled back as he extended his hand, “It's a pleasure meeting you as well." Shaking his hand in a firm, yet friendly manner. "That's quite a grip you got." He of course needed to know his name, "My name's Wade, what's yours?”

Wade's smile brightened at his head buddy. “Heya Kat! ” Celebrate? “You know it.. You did awesome with Lex on helping that house elf by the way.” Well, he knew he would have to do just as well whenever his turn came.. Meep. Was that a cupcake tower that just passed them?

“Hey Ells,” He chuckled as he saw her reaching out for his hair, he titled his head downward to help her out before he could feel his hair being *RUFFLERUFFLED*. “So, is my hair still okay?" Since she was checking, after all. Heh.

With a few DELICIOUS things in her hand, she heard how somebody talked to her. Huh? Who was speaking to her? She just wanted to give her two rats also something to eat, she had human food in her hands, but her two little friends wouldn’t die if she would let them eat something what wasn’t healthy for them…

Turning around and with a questioning look in her eyes, she saw a boy standing. He was from Gryffindor, but that was all what she knew about him, she wasn’t really friends with a lot kids from the other houses, she found them stupid and annoying, but… some of them were cool, not that she would say something like that out loud! But this boy, she didn’t knew him. But, because she wanted to be a little more friendly this year, and yes, she had made herself a promise to try it, and it was sometimes really difficult to do, being friendly and all… but she tried it and smiled.

“Oh, hello!” Quickly she looked around her to see if a teacher was around, simply because she still wasn’t sure if professor Flamsteed would like it that she had her two rats with her and opened per pocket. “I have two rats hidden in here, but I’m not sure if it’s allowed to bring them here I don’t want to show them to a teacher” whispered Sonea and showed first her oldest rat, Little Princess, “This is Little princess, she is the mom from this rat,” she showed the boy her other rat, the little one. “This is Sir Blue” The third year old looked proud when she had showed her two rats, but because she still didn’t wanted that professor Flamsteed saw her rats, she hide them again inside her pockets. “I’m Sonea Duvessa, who are you?” asked she curious.

Minerva shook her head, "No.. no you did good. You really knew how to work things from what I could see." It was hard to see up in the stands, but Broni always seemed super confident even if her partner didn't. "but enough about that. It's time for you all to just relax a bit and have some fun. Our house elves make great food." She noticed the elf come in the with cupcake tower. That was a great way to celebrate she thought. "Plus I like the fact that we get to know other people." She shrugged maybe sounding a little too social, but whatever. "A nice distraction from all the studying I've been doing for NEWts and round two and all." She wondered if Broni was going to be in the next round as well, most likely since they were here, but she would find out sooner or later.



This one was very flirty now wasn't he. Minerva glanced at Broni something jumped out at her about him, maybe he had a thing for Broni. How sweet maybe love at a competition? Maybe? Min always enjoyed thinking people could meet in different places, but if you can find love working with a fire crab you could find it anywhere, right? She gave him another smile, "Gaston, it is nice to meet you. Are you enjoying Hogwarts so far? Finding everything alright. I know it can be very confusing to knew students." Herself had been lost a dozen times first year.




She gave Kat a tilt of the head to her comment, what was wrong with getting to know them. They were guest at the castle and shouldn't you be nice to your guests? Plus they were just students as well and she was a student leader, so it was her job to make them feel welcome at least. It wasn't as if she was giving them secrets or anything. "Well I met Broni getting chocolate frogs and since we are the leaders at the school I figured it would be our jobs to get to know them and make sure they were getting around the castle alright." but as head girl she was probably already doing that. "Congrat on the your part of the competition by the way, you did fantastic." She always enjoyed Kat's friendship even if that weren't horribly close.



Minerva spotted the no smiling boy and went over towards him with the biggest smile on her face. "Hello" she was looking more at the girl then at him for now. "I'm Minerva, I hope you are getting along alright here. Have fun?" It was a party wasn't it? She finally looked at Mischa, "Still not smiling? Not even for a cupcake? I could go get one." She couldn't help but smirk instead of smile at her bit of teasing. She glanced back at Broni, maybe she could give Min some insight on this one and why he wouldn't smile. She just found it so odd. "Anyway figured I'd just come over and make sure you are both getting along alright in the castle and to say good job with the first round." She was a great sport who would never gloat about winning, no that wasn't the seventh years style. She just wanted everyone to be happy and have fun.




Minerva smiled at Kitty, "I'm great, this is fun isn't it?" She was enjoying herself at least. "Want to play twister later, it looks neat in a blowup form." The head boy liked muggle games didn't he. Of course he did. She glanced back at Broni for a moment, "Hold up.. You use to go to that school. Maybe you know some of these students, probably neat seeing them again." Well Min thought it was neat at least. She stood near Wade as he talked to the others, but her blue eyes snapped up as he fell into a different accent. Head tilting she stared at him a bit. Where was this coming from and wasn't it the neatest thing, but Min loved accents so it was just different to hear Wade talk that way. "Why don't you always talk like that? Do you hide that accent for a reason?" She was so curious about it now that she was pulling at his arm a bit. Why you hiding things kitty, that wasn't nice.

After following Cat and her Captain-y boyfriend through the turnstiles, Charlie decided to stop worrying about the unconscious boy - Professors were with him now, and the nurse was on her way. He'd be fine.

She hoped. She also wanted to find out how on earth his accident had happened, and why she'd had to pay her own way - the thought made her emit a slight huff, but then she straightened herself up. It didn't matter, now. Surely it was just a prank of some sort, and hey, Professor Flamsteed might yet reimburse her?

When he found his jar, of course.

Not really knowing what to do, Charlie hung around buy the door, seeing if she knew anyone.

Still with some food in her hands, her two rats hidden in her pocket and a cautious look in her eyes, in case Flamsteed would see her rats, he was always watching her during his lessons when she had her rats with her, he never had really proof that she always had her rats with her, what was against the rules, but as long as he didn't saw it, there was no problem right? But now, even now that it was a party, she was at HIS observatory and with HIS rules, so she wasn't really sure if she could bring her rats with her...

But when she looked around her she saw a girl who was maybe a year older than she was and she was alone. The third year also saw that she was not only alone but also from another house than she was, poor girl... Slytherin was the best house from Hogwarts, she was missing a lot of fun now... but, because she was in a good mood, and she already had spoken to that kid from Gryffindor, she decided to walk over to the girl and to find out who she was, cause she didn't knew her, and she was pretty sure that she knew a lot people here...

"Hey, hello, what are you doing here alone? There is a lot delicious food there" she pointed at the table with food and smiled, trying to start a conversation.

Karina had turned her back on Mischa, so she missed his scowling face, but she certainly heard his tone of voice. Why would he be bitter about her dating Ström? Didn't he only just begin to stop hating her entirely? At least he was coming with her, though it seemed as if he was dragging his feet, and she hoped he would not letting whatever strange mood spell he suddenly slipped into ruin the night. Still... if something was truly wrong... Karina turned back to face the boy behind her. "If you don't want to stay, I don't blame you. I have half a mind to leave myself now that I see how many people are here," more people meant more questions, and Karina didn't feel like she was up to dodging them if she would be distracted by Mischa's health.
The Durmstrang girl was stopped by another Hogwartian as she headed towards the drinks. This one was Minerva apparently. "Karina," she said, giving a polite nod and stating her name. "I am having a great time here, thank you," she added to be polite and it was true. Mostly. Other than the stress of the competition, she liked Hogwarts, though not nearly as much as she loved Durmstrang. Yes Durmstrang was the place to be for Karina. At least everyone at Hogwarts had been friendly; almost too friendly for Karina's taste, but it could be used to her advantage if she got over how uncomfortable it was making her.

She glanced sideways at Mischa when Minerva mentioned him as an unsmiling creature. Hmmm. She remembered the days when Mischa wouldn't smile in front of her either, she was glad that was changing now. Giving the Durmstrang boy a smile of her own, she added in Swedish (if she remembered right, Cha was one of those that spoke Swedish...but she still couldn't be sure), "Why don't you smile for the pretty girl?". Even though she spoke in her native language, she still spoke quietly so only her could hear her tease him.

Did Karina not figure realise? That first task changed everything between them. He saw her in a new light. He had become...attracted to her. The biggest problem with that was his friendship with Strom. The guilt pangs continued hit Mischa. How could he do this to his friend? Karina was Strom's girlfriend. He Mischa was just the boy who hardly bothered to utter one word to her before.

Mischa looked away as Karina addressed him. "No ve'll stay. Ve vere told to socialise.'' He was not going to ruin anything for Karina by making them leave. But there was another motive as to why he wanted to stay. He wanted a distraction from his own thoughts. Speaking of distractions. A Hogwartian was headed their way.

It was the girl who loved to smile and Mischa knew she purposely put on that extra large smile. What was with everyone and smiles? The only person he thought that should be smiling every minute was Karina. She had the most beautiful smile......Mischa mentally shook his self from his thoughts. Karina was off limits!

So instead he focused back to Minerva. She was a friendly one. Really trying her best to make them feel welcome. "Still not smiling,'' he confirmed. Why would he want to do that? "No thank vou. I am not hungry Minerva.'' Good job with the first round? No no no no no. Every time he thought of it Mischa wish he could go back and undo every moment of his stupidity. "Thank vou. But congratulations to Hogvarts. The students clearly did a better job.'' Mischa gave compliments were they were deserved and as for the Hogwartians......they needed to watch out. They were not going to take first place again.

He could hear Karina speaking to him in Swedish. He knew in an instant she was only teasing him and it brought back memories from the Three Broomsticks when she had also teased him. Without realising it and with the thoughts of those memories and also due to the fact he was looking directly into Karina's eyes Mischa was smiling. A small smile. Not a big one. And he had not realise that he was.

Adelaide walked back into the party, feeling a bit better that West was okay. Still...kinda dampened her party mood. She spotted the twister and the food and just didn't feel like any of it.

Wasn't like she'd been to parties before. Well, there was one. So Adelaide did what she did best when she was younger: stood off to the side and did her best to look natural.
